My clients can contact them directly for difficulties with setup. I am especially thrilled about the recent integration with Zoom.

Nachteile:

The interface is a littel bit confusing, you can't book past appointments, alot of the options have to be changed on the account manager's side not the user.

Doesn't integrate with EMR like practice better or Jane, so you basically have to maintain two schedules; you cannot send meeting invites again, titles of appointments have to be entered manually

terrible experience when having technical problems.
locked into a 12 month contract for a service that has ZERO business application for us.

Vorteile:

excellent package and documentation integration. I liked the calendar booking function and shared documents with e-signing.

Nachteile:

doesn't work on rural internet systems. I reported this to their technical people who just said it should work fine. In all practical tests we did with rural clients the video did not work at all. The system works fine for in city (high speed internet) but does not work at all with our client population (on reserve). As a comparison we tried Zoom and Facebook video and they worked just fine with the same clients on same networks. As such, clearly there is some video compression overhead that breaks this service in rural areas. When they were unable ot rectify the problem I asked to be released from contract but they made me pay for 12 months anyways for a product that doesn't even work for us.

A great option to add to counselling businesses!

Vorteile:

I love how easy it is to bill clients who use credit card to pay, and that they receive an emailed receipt instantly! Saves lots of time on paperwork that way. I also love that I can pull up my whole history and produce reprinted receipts at any time.

Nachteile:

Clients who do not want to pay via credit card or don't have a credit card still need manual receipts and payment processing in alternate ways. Additionally, it does not store client information or allow for appointment repeats so you have to plug in each appointment individually with their email.

Hi Devan, thank you for sharing your experience! Selecting the "recurring" option feature on the new appointment window will enable you to set recurring appointments on your calendar. We also have a Roster feature that would grant you to ability to create Roster profiles for your patients. From there, you would be able to access client history and status whenever and wherever! Kommentare: My clients much prefer OnCall Health over the previous platform. It's reliable, which when doing psychotherapy is very important! Picture and audio quality is very good, and the appointment booking process is quick and easy. The mobile / tablet version is just as straightforward and easy to use as the computer one.

Vorteile:

It is straight forward, easy to use, and very reliable. When I switched from another telehealth platform to oncallhealth, I received positive feedback from virtually every one of my clients.

Nachteile:

Client's have to email support in order to update their payment information.

A bit confusing

I like that it is compliant with Ontario privacy rules

Nachteile:

I found it unstable and frequently had great difficulty joining a meeting and needed customer support to help me.

Easy and Convenient Platform

Vorteile:

I like the fact that it is intuitive and that confidentiality is maintained.

Nachteile:

I didn’t realize it would take a week to receive payment. Although not a significant problem, it would be nice r to receive payment sooner so that it is easier to keep track of.

Great product

I like the ease and simplicity of it. Customer service was on par as well

There was some audio issues that our end users had, plus each time the user had to download a special software onto their desktop.

A must-have!

Kommentare: As a therapist, I am able to reach client throughout my province. This platform guarantees clients accessibility to me talk healthcare.

Vorteile:

This platform permits access to all my clients despite their location. Even when on travelling, as long as there is an internet connection, my clients can reach me.

At this time, I am not disappointed with any aspect of this platform.

Simple to use , best for individual practitioners

Kommentare: Generally it’s a good program. It serves it purpose. As we continue to master the online platform we'll have to see how well OnCall holds up. I’d like to see a FB group or similar where users share experiences and provide knowledge, support.

Vorteile:

It’s easy for customers and therapists. There aren’t too many moving parts. It’s literally click and go.

Nachteile:

I can’t edit availability- I have to cancel and rebook. Also, I cannot edit a client appointment from in person to video on the computer. I have to cancel and rebook the appointment. When this happens we default to another provider as it’s too cumbersome. It’s glitchy with more than one client , eg couples. Sharing the screen also doesn’t work . Zoom has mastered this as OnCall should follow suit. Also, support isn’t immediate. The response several hours later.

Integral part of our practice

Kommentare: On-Call Health has enabled my practice to be accessible to clients who reside in remote communities, travel frequently, or have other restrictions which make in office attendance difficult. It has allowed me to specialize and focus my practice on select populations/issues. On-Call staff have always been helpful and attentive to the few problems we have experienced in the past. Overall, the platform allows us to focus on therapy as opposed to the supportive technology. In remote communities, it enables us to provide psychological services in a private, time flexible way, removing the dreaded "walk to the clinic on the psychologist's day here".

Vorteile:

Secure, simple to use for both office and clients, stable with little external hardware demands. Client's rarely report trouble with set-up and are able to get support when needed.

Nachteile:

At times video and /or audio can become distorted (although I have noticed this has not occurred over last few months). This typically occurs when clients are in areas of very poor connection services.

Good product

Kommentare: Generally good. Customer service is good although I haven't had contact with them for a while.

Vorteile:

I like a secure option to offer my clients when they are unable to come in person.

Nachteile:

Sometimes, clients have difficulty accessing it from their end even when I've sent the link. In the past, when I toggle from the video to access something else, I could not return to the video. I don't like the limit of 10 for recurring appts. Would like to be able to set that myself.

The reason why you may be experiencing difficulty returning to the video is likely because you already have SVC opened up when you attempted to access something else. The video will continue to run in the background and hence when you attempt to relaunch the session, it will not show up because it's already open your background. When this happens, you could re-open the app for the video session to reappear. Review of OnCall Health

Kommentare: I started using OnCall Health to be able to meet with clients on-line. This is the only product that I found that took into account my concerns about confidentiality and the fact that the servers are located in Canada.

Vorteile:

I really like that I can see my list of upcoming client meetings in one spot. I also really like that the software remembers previous information about my client set up (i.e. name, email, etc.) so that I don't have to retype this information when setting up a next appointment.

Nachteile:

Once I've logged in to start a session with a client, I have to go through multiple steps to start the session (i.e. download the software to get started). It would be great to just hit "join video session" and be right there.

The software is user friendly, and it's easy to navigate and to set up new client accounts. I also appreciate the function of being able to message clients while in a video session.

Kommentare: OnCall is a very user friendly tool and the customer services is readily available when you need some assistance. The meetings with our rep are a great opportunity to discuss wishlists and areas where we need more assistance around. OnCall really works with their customers to help streamline work and provides suggestions to help improve the services.

Vorteile:

User friendly and great customer service. Love the analytics part of the administrative access. You can view these reports at any time.

Nachteile:

A bit more functionality on the forms would be wonderful.

Vorteile:

I like the fact that it's a secure Canadian online platform. I also like the new roster feature which I find very easy to use. I also like the customer support. I have found them to be extremely responsive and attentive when I've run into any difficulties.

Nachteile:

I find the picture quality not as good as other online platforms. Also at times I have had some issues with clients being able to use OnCall and have had to switch to another platform for that client. Generally it works well.

Great for tele-mental health

Vorteile:

What I like most about the software is that it offers the capability of facilitating clients by video, increasing accessibility of service. I also like the fact that it adheres to PHIPA & PIPEDA, and it's a Canadian company.

Nachteile:

The cost for what it provides is a bit prohibitive.

Great tech support, friendly staff, easy to learn and use.

Nachteile:

Would like to see an option to 'set up another video appointment' or set up another in-person appointment' rather than going back to square one with each appointment. Woudl also like to be abel to edit appointments from one format to antoher ie. from a video appointment to an in-person (or vice versa) without cancelling the initial appointment

we have reviewed numerous platforms and we have chosen to go with oncall for our practice. it is easy to use and confidential. it's now just one click and go

not necessarily a software issue but if the wifi on the other side user is bad, sound and video sometimes gets glitchy
