If you need rtmp multichannel rtmp streaming and don't want a $$$$$ bill monthly, Antmedia is 100% the right choice.

Kommentare: I would say 10/10 honestly, the ease of use, support, built in apis, recording options, s3 integration was all excellent. If your in a similar situation I would 100% recommend Antmedia.

Vorteile:

I had a project that needed 6 channels live streaming 24/7 rtmp at hd. Costing it out, to use AWS or mux would have cost up to $4k usd in transcoding and ingest costs alone with was way to much for a small project like this. We opted to buy a second hand Dell r730, install unraid and install Antmedia, which basically paid itself back in less than a few months. This process was simple and honestly I spent more time working on the server set up, than Antmedia config. Support is also fantastic! I had two issues come up, the first was about the api I was using to manage recordings, and I got a detailed response/solution in less than a day. The second issue was with SSL support and again, extraordinary helpful and customer focused support and resolution. Overall, very glad to have gone with Antmedia over other options.

Nachteile:

The api documentation could be a little more user friendly, but it's minor stuff really. I would like a unraid docker instance in the unraid community apps, to make install, updates and ssl management easier, rather than having manual management. Again it's a minor issue really, but would have been very helpful and easier to Antmedia as an option when researching.

Ant MídiaServer is simply the best Live broadcast service with low cloud service consumption.

Positive highlight for UpTime (no problems reported). AMS Support is excellent. I thank everyone for the support. Very active community, it makes a lot of difference. I simply had no problems with AMS.

Vorteile:

Ease of live broadcast on multiple platforms, Youtube, X, Facebook. Excellent UPTime - No record of transmission failure in more than 3 months of transmitting live content to YouTube (Infinite Live). Low equipment consumption and cloud service (processing, memory and file system).

Nachteile:

A more intuitive console for the end user.

Great product and support team

Kommentare: The service is quite good.
Installation and setup is so simple and you can try it for free for some days.
I have received good technical support regarding the use of HTTPS and other related configurations
If there are Straming related obligations, Antmedia products are strongly recommended

Very easy to use, the technical support is also very good, if there are problems they will be enough to help us solve.

Nachteile:

I don't see any disadvantages, there may be a lot of documentations, but if you ask them directly, you will get very patient answers.

Great option for small business

Kommentare: The service is quite good. They are continuously updating their systems. Sometimes there are breaking changes but the community is big enough to let you know what you need to do in this situations.

Their customer support. They are very kind and go the extra mile to solve your issues.

Kommentare: I have been using Ant Media Server for the past 2 years for my streaming solution and could not be happier. Producing content with webRTC and Ant, I have been able to achieve sub 400ms of delay in my broadcasts unlocking the potential for live interaction between my performers and their audience. From a customer support perspective, it does not get much better. I would say that I have received above average support from [sensitive content hidden] and whenever there is a problem around adventure bay, he is the first one I yelp for. I just had an experience where support reached out to me just to check in. I indeed had a few challenges I was meaning to ask about, and they were able to proactively provide the support I needed and even solved some issues I did not even know were present. From implementation to support, AMS has my vote.

Vorteile:

Ease of use and product support. The solution just works and if it doesn't support staff will make it work.

Nachteile:

At the time of writing this, from an accessibility standpoint I would really like to have CC passthrough.

Powerful platform that can be highly customized

Kommentare: I have been working and managing many servers with antmedia for several years. I have never encountered any problems. In the initial configurations and in the following new requests I have always been supported. Very interesting is the Webrtc mode with data channel that we use both for real-time live events and to build a proprietary videoconferencing infrastructure

Vorteile:

Antmedia server is an easy to configure and very reliable platform. It is also possible to build an autoscalable cloud configuration, very useful to optimize costs when you have events with peaks of concurrency

Nachteile:

I don't see any disadvantages. The only thing that could cause problems before was the update which wasn't automatic, while now it's very easy

Best Streaming Solution Ever

Kommentare: we did a 2 hours show with ant media server , we have 15,000 viewer on the show without CDN , it works like a charm on our dedicated server , no down time , so stable and I can trust it for huge real Production . also the Dev team is the best .

We could easily customize and extend the system based on our customer needs. The ultra-low latency with less than a sec latency streaming experience was commendable.

Nachteile:

Though we faced few technical road blocks and high system memory issues during integration, the Ant Media Server team was kind enough to support us quickly.

Perfect for Homegrown Setups

Kommentare: I'm not sure I could ask for something easier to setup - the barrier to entry is quite low and I have successfully hosted ant media server for at least the last two years.

Vorteile:

Easy to setup - the guides were informative, and the staff at the support desk quite responsive.

Nachteile:

There are some elements of the webUI that did not lend themselves previously to ease of use, e.g. it was not always obvious to me (even as a tech person) how to setup stream keys intuitively - fortunately, the UI is simple enough that it only takes a few minutes of trial and error to safely and non-destructively figure out what's going on.

We have a cluster on premise installation on premise installation,we have just 3 stream app but with a lot of consumer and we found ant media easy to use and to handle
