Crew Control is great for new businesses

Kommentare: We've been really happy with it overall. As we continue to grow I think we'll be looking for more features - really dialing in profitability, etc. - but for our size right now Crew Control meets our needs. I'm sure we'll move up to Aspire at some point.

Vorteile:

Features I want and a pricing plan that's small business friendly

Nachteile:

Biggest issue is that there was zero on-boarding when I signed up. Customer support was always friendly and willing to answer questions, but I really would've appreciated someone walking me through setup. I felt like I was left to figure it all out on my own.

Helps me be efficient and earn more money

Kommentare: Happy overall. I am much more efficient and have more fully scheduled and productive days. I have been able to take on more jobs and make more money with the help of crew control

Vorteile:

The way it texts customers and helps me to be efficient. Before crew control I would end up getting busy on the weekend and not setting up work for Monday now that it automatic every day is scheduled the way I want it to be.

Nachteile:

You can not physically see all the customers on a map and group them together for routing. I also wish it would do chemical reporting records.

Crew Control is very simple and easy to use. You can get up and running in minutes compared to these other programs where you need a degree in computer science.

Nachteile:

There is nothing I dislike about Crew Control.

We Love Crew Control

Kommentare: It was a challenge to get our foremen on board to use it. Now, they wouldn't want it any other way. They have their schedule sent to them early in. the day and changes can be made on the fly. After the learning curve and the ongoing updates as made it so much better. Thanks you!!!!

Vorteile:

Keeping schedules organized and the ease of changing when the weather isn't cooperative on getting work done. The ease for customers for their deposits and payments. It definitely helps to keep cash flow going smoothly.

Nachteile:

There isn't much. I would say that it does not work in bad cell reception areas, which is expected.

Kommentare: Overall, I've had a good experience with this program. It's made my planning and scheduling of the work much, much easier and quicker than the old pen-and-paper method I used to use. I no longer have to keep all the houses and scheduling in my head and now have a nice calendar view for all of our jobs to be done.

Vorteile:

This service was exactly what I was looking for. I run a landscape maintenance company, and we provide weekly service to roughly 200 clients. This program allowed me to set up reoccurring job cards for each client, and allowed me to split the clients amongst my crews. I can easily see the progress of my crews throughout the day which is crucial for me. I also was looking for a program that would optimize the route for the day, to get my guys to the houses in the most efficient manner. I like the calendar view and the ability to easy move job cards between days or crews. I do a lot of shifting of schedules on the admin side, and it has all worked seamlessly for me. I no longer have to use excel to manage the schedule which has saved me a ton of time. I also like that the program allows my guys to leave notes and pictures on the job card for anything they see during their time at the house. I can then see these on the admin side and address them as needed.

Nachteile:

I would like things to be a bit more customizable. There are various functions I would like to be able to do specific to the way I manage things that aren't possible with the current program. I would like an offline mode to be incorporated into the program as well. With everything operating on a website, if the guys don't have service at a house, the time won't log and it will sit on the job card window until they get service.

Nachteile:

Only con I see is that you cant fully customize the automated text. And the fact that scheduling jobs like snow removal thats on a very irregular schedule is challenging because you have to manually input each person every time.

Crew Control is great!

Kommentare: Very good tool to keep everything organized and the ease of use makes it easy for everyone of us to use.

Vorteile:

I love the ease of making work orders, scheduling and using a system that eliminates receipts, and all other paperwork. It’s nice to be able to upload our quotes as well so the guys can see exactly what is quoted

Nachteile:

The only con, would be it’s a little bit trickier to navigate on a phone. I really like on an iPad or a computer.

Crew Control provides an easy way for us to flawlessly schedule our service calls. Ease of function and the dispatch system has lead to better communication with our service techs. We can see where they are in real time and submitting reports after the call is 100 times better! Thank you!

Organized scheduling and less stress

Kommentare: Crew control has been great for us. The ability to plan ahead, prepare better for our jobs and be sure they all get done more efficiently was a big step in the right direction for us. Crew Control has even allowed us to accomplish more without hiring another manager. Crew Control has become our “whiteboard schedule” at the office, but now it is with us all the time. No need to take a picture of the whiteboard when leaving the office.

Vorteile:

The software is easy to use, goes with all of us everywhere we go so when we need to make changes, we can make them immediately. Because it is easy to provide details and send photos for each individual job, we have less confusion, quicker response to customer requests and less call backs. Implementing this into our daily routine was well received with little to no resistance by our crews. Let’s face it, crews typically don’t like change, but our crews have liked this change. No need to carry paper schedules and no lost revenues due to the electronic paper trail on everything we do!

Nachteile:

There isn’t anything I really don’t like. There is always little things that can make processes better, but the good thing is the owner is taking any feedback we have and working towards making it better than it is.

The Perfect Software

Kommentare: The overall time savings frees up myself and my staff to focus on other activities from sales to customer service. Plus savings on ink and paper products is incredible.

Vorteile:

This software offered us the ability to move from paper and whiteboard scheduling company wide saving us hours of tedious work and tons of paper and ink from printing out daily work schedules for 14 crews.

Nachteile:

Actually, we haven't come across very many issues with the software. Those that we did encounter were minor and quickly resolved.
