Vorteile:

We use ThankView for our annual fund thank yous and other special campaigns. What I like most is how easy it easy to use! You are easily walked through the steps to launch your video campaign, and that makes it so easy to start/continuing using this product. I also love that the software comes with an amazing account/support team!

Nachteile:

Nothing comes to mind honestly! It's been a seamless process learning and using this platform.

Vorteile:

College Athletics and Donor Engagement require personality, innovation, and creativity. Creating special, digital moments that are authentic and deeply personal matters when we target the proverbial bottom line. ThankView affords that type of communication, partnered with very helpful analytics. It delivers the best of both worlds.

Nachteile:

I really have very little to argue with the product - I only wish I more time to devote to the use of it. Actually I have one con --- it's TOO MUCH FUN and distracts me from my other responsibilities!

Kommentare: We have been able to better communicate with our donors to show their impact from donations to the University. We use ThankView for our call center, our stewardship efforts, our giving day and now we've recently integrated with ScaleFunder to make use of ThankView for our crowdfunding efforts as well. It's a personal touch for our donors, which goes a long way.

Vorteile:

Our team and division colleagues appreciate the ease of the product. For example, our Student Philanthropy Representatives use it every night to send videos to donors through our calling program. Also, our stewardship team uses the 'video request' option to solicit personal thank you videos from scholarship recipients so we can share them with their scholarship donors. It is an amazing tool!

Nachteile:

I can't really think of anything to add here, but even when we do make suggestions or express concerns to the ThankView team, they are always open and receptive to our thoughts. We feel heard!

Deepening relationships in an increasingly digital landscape

Kommentare: We started using ThankView during the pandemic to maintain relationships where we would typically use in-person meetings. Now, we use ThankView in a number of creative ways, including donor updates, donation-specific thank you messages, and general impact messaging. The results have been truly amazing — we often get responses from stakeholders telling us that our ThankViews are the best thank you’s they have ever received.

Vorteile:

ThankView makes it easy to put relationships first. I especially like that ThankView allows us to choose strategic goals for each campaign (thanking, fundraising, birthdays/anniversaries, etc), with custom templates for each type. We use the video request feature often, which has allowed our team to collaborate on our donor stewardship.

Nachteile:

The process for creating new landing pages/envelopes is functional, but clunky. To create, one has to break the campaign creation flow and enter a new workflow.

ThankView is a godsend!

Vorteile:

I couldn't do my job without ThankView, especially when the pandemic hit. It's super user friendly and a great way to send videos of thanks from our students to our donors. It's an amazing platform!!!

Nachteile:

Honestly, there's not much I don't like. Perhaps some of the contact database management isn't as clean as it could be, but overall it's great.

A Great Communication Tool!

Kommentare: My overall experience with ThankView has been very positive and I appreciate the user community as well. They were very reasonable working through our first renewal and always quick to respond with any problems or questions. They appear to allocate time, resources and dollars to improving their functionality which is always a great sign. Looking forward to helping with some beta testing too!

Vorteile:

I so appreciated that this was an easy tool to learn, immediately being able to get a critical message out and then being able to take some time to learn more and get better at it when I had more time. I was given no one to talk to and no training and one week to get a video out to thousands of prospective students and their parents when the pandemic hit and staff members were furloughed. That success says a lot!

Nachteile:

There will always be changes desired with a cloud solution, but I have only found minor inconveniences and the support team is very open to adding features and improving functions. I struggled to delete large chunks of contacts and needed several rounds with customer support to get that done.

A valuable investment for engaging your audience and stewarding donors

Kommentare: ThankView is providing our organization with a more personal and engaging way to interact with all of our audience segments. Video can seem daunting, but ThankView does a great job of simplifying the entire production process while still producing a high-quality product.

Vorteile:

Overall, ThankView is an intuitive application that provides a quality product. If we have questions, ThankView has an extensive resource library and community discussion boards where you can bounce ideas off others using ThankView.

Nachteile:

Honestly, the downsides are minimal. There are some integration limitations but we've found workarounds for most of these. Additionally, ThankView is continually rolling out new features and enhancing existing ones. They make a point to listen to client feedback and consider requests.

Use ThankView to save time!

None. I really like ThankView. It makes my job easier.

A great tool!

Vorteile:

ThankView makes it super easy to communicate with constituents. For me, that's alumni, donors, and students. You can customize messages with whatever your goal is, and it is very easy to do that. People also love receiving ThankViews; we always get great feedback. It makes us stand out. The platform is very user friendly, even for those not technically included.

Nachteile:

We recently hit the maximum number of contacts uploaded. Thankfully, we will be able to upgrade, but in the meantime we had to delete some old contacts. If costs are an issue, that may be burdensome.

Feedback and Rating about ThankView - Video Email Platform

Kommentare: I absolutely love ThankView! I can't say enough about how amazing our emails/videos have turned out and how easy the platform is to use. Our constituents have told us how much they enjoyed getting these emails.

Vorteile:

What I like most about this software is that: 1) It is very easy to use. 2) The video emails are clean, professional, and fun (depending on your video and photos) 3) It allows me to send out a large batch of emails quickly and efficiently. 4) It allows me to record/request videos for the platform or other purposes very easily. 5) How their support team are responsive and knowledgeable with any questions or problems I may have.

Nachteile:

What I like least about this software are: 1) How I am able to (or not) organize the video library and campaigns. 2) How I can restrict other administrators from altering my videos/campaigns. I wish as a "creator" I can give access as requested. (Again, this comes from me being particular and OCD ;P)

An invalueable tool for stewardship and engagement

Vorteile:

Video to masses of people all at once. The ability to customize messages with merge fields. Ability to put a face to the name of scholarship recipients to their donors really connects alums to campus and helps donors feel great about the impact they are having on their individual students. Our best campaign is our ongoing happy birthday message that is sent out daily on alums actualy birthdays. This is better than sending messages in the month of their birthdays, the actual day. we have great open rates on this extremely personalized message.

Nachteile:

We have yet to connect Raiser's Edge and Thankview in an easy to upload manner. We have to modify our excel spreadsheets to fit the system for ease of use. I am hopeful once we try using RE NXT that it will become even easier. I would like the ability to text people because emails often go unread or unwatched. I think texting videos to peoples phone AND emailing them would significantly increase open rates. Would like to have more merge field options as permanent.

Great, easy to use product and top-notch customer service!

Kommentare: We use this software for everything from birthday greetings to event invitations to fundraising appeals. It's very easy to use (and to train colleagues to use!) and a great way to 'get in front of our people,' especially during this socially distant time of COVID.

Vorteile:

I love that ThankView is easy to use and allows us to personalize messages to our community of alumni, parents, and students.

Nachteile:

I don't love the new pricing structure, which is based on number of contacts loaded into the account. Typically I have to manually remove any contacts who have previously unsubscribed and/or bounced before sending another all-constituent communication. I wish this could happen automatically. For what it's worth, I liked the previous pricing structure more, which was based on services used rather than the number of contacts.

My favorite co-worker!

Kommentare: I've worked with ThankView for many years, even before my University at large had a contract with them. It's been wonderful to see them grow. What I appreciate is they always seek the feedback and input of their users, and make it a priority to incorporate our desired new features or changes into their product.
The product itself is incredibly intuitive and easy to use.

Vorteile:

I love that it is so versatile, intuitive and easy to use. I can customize my campaigns so easily so that I can execute a variety of visions and purposes. It's so streamlined and simple -- and really, really effective!

Nachteile:

There are so many ways to use this software, and I enjoy it so much, that it's easy to rely solely on ThankView. I have to be conscious to not over-use it with my donors.

User-friendly, Fun, and Interactive Product

Vorteile:

ThankView is a user-friendly platform I employed to record student messages for our annual solicitations and send donor thank-you videos. It's s fun and personal way to thank donors and engage them with their scholarship recipients. ThankView has a selection of tutorials for each user group and their academy courses. Learning to create and personalize landing pages and record, upload, and edit videos is easy. And, if someone is stuck, there is a handy chat box to reach for help! I've been using ThankView for three years and loving it! Thank the ThankView team for their fun, interactive platform, and excellent customer service.

Nachteile:

It takes a while to send test videos during work hours. It could be due to many logging in at the same time.

Great product for people centered engagement

Kommentare: Working with ThankView has been great. I would recommend them to any shop that is looking to create better connections between donors and the impact of their giving.

Vorteile:

ThankView allows us to deliver personal messages to our alumni and donors, highlighting the things they care about most on campus or the things that they may want to support in the future. The video request feature also allows easy creation of videos without having to record, upload, and send from elsewhere. The customer support team is quick and efficient, and I haven't had an issue that I haven't been able to sort out easily with them.

Nachteile:

The company is focused on expanding right now, which makes sense given the boom in digital stewardship and communications since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. Packages are slightly different than they used to be, and there have not been as many updates to the administrative interface in the last year or so.

A must-have for all stewardship work

Vorteile:

The simplicity of ThankView is unparalleled. It makes sending personalized messages pain-free and have them look very professional and polished.

Nachteile:

There are so many new features coming out and if I am behind in keeping up, I miss some great new features.

Kommentare: So far, we've had a great experience with ThankView. We're enjoying engaging with our constituents in a different way. ThankView helps to give a more personalized and appreciative approach in a world that's turning more and more virtual.

Vorteile:

This software is extremely user-friendly from recording videos to producing them within the site. We've experienced great returns and engagement from constituents in using this tool in varying communications thus far.

Nachteile:

The most difficult part of this software is not being able to reset email addresses that bounced once from the platform (even if we know that they are accurate and working email addresses currently). They are automatically marked and unable to receive any future ThankViews unless you reset them by the ones with customer support.

Great Program for communication

Kommentare: With all the hustle and bustle with no time left for sending out staff and community updates that people would take time to read, ThankView provides a fun delivery of a video message that people actually take the time to watch, replay and even respond. We all get hundreds of emails to read. How great it feels to open the inbox to "something different and something fun" while delivering the message. ThankView is so easy to use we make that "something different" sent to staff and community in minutes.

Vorteile:

The system is extremely user friendly. The automatic birthday messages are a HUGE HIT with all staff and community. The feedback on the nuances of the delivery and art work in the custom envelope has been very complimentary. Overall I hear each week that our staff and community cannot wait for the weekly update email. ThankView has become part of the school culture and I am just upset we didn't find this system sooner.

Nachteile:

I would love a native IOS App that would make management from an iPad or iPhone a little more seamless.

Expanding Thankview's market

Kommentare: We are building relationships and celebrating life events with our customers and prospects with customized videos. Our team adoption has been a little slow but a few power users are really seeing the benefits of sending videos and being efficient with their time.

Vorteile:

Our team liked how easy it was for our sales representatives to send relationship building videos to their customers or prospects. The impact we have received from recipients has been outstanding. They are impressed with our technical know-how. Little do they know how easy it is to do.

Nachteile:

Holiday theme templates seem to be a little "unprofessional" feeling for business-to-business communications. Library organization is a little cumbersome.

Where has this been all my life!

Kommentare: So grateful for this innovative tool. Our team loves it. The people we send Thankviews to love it!

Vorteile:

I have a lot of things I love about this platform, but I'll share 3. 1. The connection power! It allows me to send video messaging to our team and the people we work with. Since videos are so much more engaging than text and even photos, it allows us to be ahead of the curve a bit. 2. The video collection tool feature. In the past, collecting videos was such a hassle and always required so much hand-holding. Now I fire off the request and I get replies. 3. The analytics. It's so helpful to know how many and who have opened, watched, downloaded or shared the videos we send. It allows me to have differentiated follow up.

Nachteile:

I really don't have anything I don't like about the software.

ThankView to the Rescue

Vorteile:

We LOVE ThankView for the personalization aspect and it is a different way to engage with out donors and Alumni. We traditionally have a 15-20% open rate on e-mails from our institution, but out ThankViews to that same audience are getting a 60-80% open rate! HOLY MOLY! We love that we are now able to engage with our donors and truly meet them where they are at. They aren't wanting to read a long e-mail, they want to watch a quick "reel" and then do their call to action. It is simply awesome!

Nachteile:

We really thought we would be able to integrate this with our database, and it hasn't worked out very well so we turned of integrations and do things manually. It takes more work on our end but it is still worth it for the donor engagement.

I've used ThankView for six years, and it has been a great solution for our personalized video needs in stewardship and donor relations.

Nachteile:

There's nothing I dislike about ThankView.

ThankView is a GAME CHANGER!

Vorteile:

ThankView is super user friendly. We train students to use it in a matter of minutes! I love how easy it is to send out multiple PERSONALIZED videos in a short amount of time, as well as send out videos that "appear" personalized as well. We've been able to do so many great things with ThankView including thanking our donors, wishing them happy birthday, inviting them to events, and more.

Nachteile:

Honestly, we have so many ideas for how to use ThankView and just not enough time!

Saving Time

Kommentare: Overall, ThankView has been a great resource and has been very easy to set up and use. The customer service I received from [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] during the onboarding process was absolutely fantastic! Everyone I've encountered thus far has been great!

Vorteile:

This product streamlines the process of developing video communication and sending it out in a timely manner. A process that used to take me several days if not weeks at times has been condensed into a process that takes just a few minutes! I'm able to reach my target demographic easily and effectively!

Nachteile:

I haven't found anything that I dislike thus far. I've experienced a few technical glitches on the platform itself but nothing that a quick refresh wouldn't take care of. Overall, I have next to no issues with this platform.
