Easy to use and saves us money

Vorteile:

Easy to import our Excel mailing lists into the program. Sorts and corrects addresses quickly and easily. Does the forms automatically!

Nachteile:

We are very familiar with using it, probably a users manual for new users would be welcome.

Excellent Mail Processing Software

Kommentare: I have worked with Postage Saver for a number of years. Great software! The regular emails to advise of postal increases and notice of needed updates, which are quite easy to implement, make this a terrific solution.

Vorteile:

Postage Saver is very easy to work with and is a wonderful alternative to the more expensive solutions. Postage Saver reports are accurate, and the cost is much less. Plus, [sensitive content hidden] is available and always very helpful!

Nachteile:

I have absolutely no complaints. And [sensitive content hidden] is always available by email or phone call if I have a question.

Distribution Mail Outs

Kommentare: It's okay not great but okay.

Vorteile:

That you can print out the tags even though I still have to mark them as non presort

Nachteile:

I still have to fill out the forms to use for non presorted - parcels for Bound Printed Matter. The program doesn't recognize mailing out phone books. When I have called in the past the person I spoke with acted like I was an idiot and did not want to help.

Current Benefits

Kommentare: Excellent - I have been with the software from conception

Vorteile:

communication - announcements and if I ever have a question it is quickly answered

Nachteile:

inability to CASS Certify with the software or prepare walk - sequence

Great Value and User Friendly

Kommentare: Postage saver is intuitive and the cost is a fraction of the program that we used before purchasing Postage Saver.

Vorteile:

So much easier to use than the program we used to use at a great price! Very user friendly.

Nachteile:

Honestly can't think of any cons. The price is great and it is easy to use.

A few years in

Kommentare: Customer Service! They have it, and a great product that just works.

Vorteile:

I like that it's so easy to run. If you follow the prompts It just works. But the best part of Postage Saver is the customer service!!! I had a few questions and problems way back when we started. The problems where related to my lack of understanding of the postal system. Not the software. I emailed to ask questions and got an email within minutes. They had all my questions taken care of that day. And even asked me about a few things I didn't know I needed to do and helped me take care of that too.

Nachteile:

Honestly for our small non profit I don't have any complaints. The software just works. I don't have to worry about it not being updated or not working. This is huge in my book.

best program ever

first I must say that I have never had a better service and product. this is by far the best program out there.

Nachteile:

none. I have used this program from many years, never had one issue

Great for Small Businesses

I can't think of anything I don't like, it does everything I need it to do at a great price

Postage Saver is an indispensable tool for my business!

Kommentare: Postage Saver walks you through each step of the process with detailed explanations of each input. The software is easy to learn and simple to use. The last mailing I did I saved over $8000 in postage because I was able to send my magazines periodical rate. I wouldn't have been able to do that without Postage Saver!

Vorteile:

Very simple setup, easy to use, everything you need is printed out and ready for you

Nachteile:

I wish there was a way to save previous mailings. Also would like to be able to compare different inputs to figure out what might be a cheaper way to mail. One other recommendation -- the website looks a bit outdated and I remember I was a little bit hesitant to buy Postage Saver because I didn't know if it was legit or not.

Excellent help to deal with a government entity (USPS) and make sense of their rules and regulations.

Kommentare: Scott was wonderfully responsive in helping me figure out where my errors were occurring and getting my file back on track so I could complete my mailing.

Vorteile:

The program has a lot of steps, but compared to dealing with USPS and all of their forms and paperwork, it is much more user friendly. Even more important to me is that when I had a question you responded immediately and solved my problem so that I could get my mailing out.

Nachteile:

My only real complaint is that if there is a problem in my excel file of addresses, such as a not acceptable character like a symbol or even the wrong type of apostrophe, the program rejects the file but won't tell me why it has been rejected, so I have to spend a lot of time carefully checking each word in the file and then uploading over and over until I manage to locate all of the errors.

You can't afford to be without Postage $aver

Vorteile:

Ease of use. Great support from [sensitive content hidden]. Up to date within microseconds of changes from the USPS, Postage $aver is ready go .

Nachteile:

I desperately want to save jobs to specific job files so we can pick them up and re-run the jobs. Also would be nice to have PS add the needed feeds without having to so the manually.

Postage $aver Pro Got Us Over the Finish Line

Kommentare: I ran four or five sets of CSV files during the trial period. I studied the output reports and learned how to build a Microsoft Word mail merge later. After I figured out how to make tri-address pages with Microsoft, I was able to add the Group, Tray, and Sequence numbers to each window label insert for our printing contractor. That way, we could custom load content by address and keep mail in USPS pre-sort! Pure genius [sensitive content hidden] - Thank you!

Vorteile:

The online helps are the best bar none. I studied many web sites too. I like the on-line reviews, that described how other nonprofits used the tool the way I intend to meet USPS requirements. The automated reports, features, menu-driven guides, make it seem-less and easy to use. The cost will save us more than before with manual methods before January 28, 2024.

Nachteile:

It took me awhile to figure out that Postage $aver Pro wanted to overwrite my original CSV file, and that's okay. I saw the prompt, but it didn't cause me to think much being new to application. My work around was to save a copy of the original CSV file and use the copy for Postage $aver Pro if I needed to compare the lists later. If I started with 1305 records, Postage $aver Pro exported 1305 records. So, there isn't really anything to dislike because it is adding value to the data file.

I do not really have a least favorite item about PS

Nachteile:

It's a little strange having the addresses checked, but no worse than any other company; maybe some kind of integration with a CASS/NCOA provider, but really, it's not a big deal.

Kommentare: The best. I have contacted [sensitive content hidden] with questions about mail issues I needed to solve and he has been very helpful. Fast replies and very knowledgeable.

Vorteile:

Ease of use. When [sensitive content hidden] provided the backup and restore function it made using client data from past jobs much easier to use. I had already created a system for the same thing but [sensitive content hidden] was better.

Nachteile:

Not being able to tell the software to put a specific count into a tray or sack.

Years of experience with postage Rate Saver

Kommentare: From initial install to now, its just what I need for my bulk mail. I used to use another company about 15 years ago and I had some problems and that is how I found this. Been here ever since.

Vorteile:

I like how easy it is and how fast I get responses to questions. [sensitive content hidden] has been great thru-out. Its just what I need for Bulk Mail processing. Not more and Not less. Well it my have some stuff in there I do not need since I typically just send out Post Cards.

Nachteile:

Not much not to like. hard to come up with a negative.

Postage Saver makes me look like a professional

Kommentare: The step by step wizard is easy to use and the paperwork and instructions created by PostageSaver make me stand out at the post office where most folks handwrite their forms and forget to answer key questions.

Vorteile:

Easy to use and customer support is very responsive.

Nachteile:

There is nothing I would suggest with the level of expertise I have right now (or need).

Excellent software for the price

Kommentare: Postage Saver is a blessing. Really appreciate the timely updates and how postal changes are kept up to date, and the ease of updating the software.

Vorteile:

When looking for software to work with our non-profit permit, Postage Saver came to the rescue. It provides all the needed features to take advantage of our permit -- particularly the barcoding and sorting functions.

Nachteile:

The initial learning curve was required a bit of additional understanding, but the step by step guide helped. And resources on the Postage Saver website were excellent.

Great Value for Money

Kommentare: Great experience. The software is very stable and reliable. It includes automatic updates and reminders to update to comply with USPS rates and rules. Very easy to use. A rare occurrence in today's world of unsupported, glitchy software programs and apps. This company doesn't externalize its R&D on the customers. The product works, and when there's something that requires the company's attention, they respond the same day. Cannot ask for more.

Vorteile:

Very reliable, excellent customer support and responsiveness.

Nachteile:

Non cons. It's very good value for money.

Firm Packages

Vorteile:

It is easy to use and understand. They walk you through everything step by step.

Nachteile:

I wish they could accommodate Firm packages. I have several of those and can't use the program to figure them. I have to add them by hand.
