Fast, painless payroll and time clock

Kommentare: They are hands-on and dedicated to building the best product so that means agreeable fees, quick service, and things you request make it into the beta channel quickly.

Vorteile:

Easy to use on any mobile device. Mobile-first design is key in our industry, no one is sitting there at the small cafe with a desktop or even a laptop. Our tools need to be on the phones in our pockets, easy to access, and just as easy to slip back into the pocket so we can get on with the day.

Nachteile:

No support yet for robust scheduling so we have not been able to move that over to this app and we really had to play around with and modify our own system in regards to tips distribution to fit their workflow. But updates to a model we were using the past 7 years were long overdue and we have good buy-in from staff and users.

Integration was simple especially because the customer service is a dedicated, live person.

Slightly cumbersome but once I learned the steps it's simple enough

Filled a Needed Niche

Kommentare: Overall Hourly has saved me time in managing my payroll & employee work tracking at a very reasonable rate.

Vorteile:

I love that Hourly allows me to track specific tasks at multiple sites. As a general contractor I need to keep accurate records of my employees work and Hourly greatly simplifies that task.

Nachteile:

There have been some hiccups integrating my worker's comp insurance into my payroll system. However Hourly has been attentive throughout this process & done their best to solve the issues that arise.

Hourly is easy and convenient to use. I like to calculate the cost of payroll daily, and so I am able to recalculate every day and get my gross cost with no problem.

Nachteile:

Hourly is a great platform and really well put together, no cons that i can think of.

Clocking in and clocking out was simple and did not glitch so that the time tracking was accurate. It was easy to review your w-2 along with past paystubs and hours.

It would of been great to be able to track expenses and reinburstments.

Pleasant Changes

Kommentare: My experience with hourly has been very pleasant. My services representatives are easily accessible and possess excellent customer service attributes.

Vorteile:

Product is easy to use. I feel the transition from ADP to Hourly was seamless.

Nachteile:

After we started working with company we were assigned an additional REP. Nice to have multiple people, but slightly different in the beginning stages.

Kommentare: The people at Hourly are very accessible and very helpful whenever I need help! And they solve my problems immediately!

Vorteile:

I like the ease of running payroll...and that I can run it from my cell phone, anywhere! I like the fact that my information is all in one place. The fact that my plumbers can clock in anywhere, on the job and we can track them is very helpful too!

Nachteile:

My least favorite part of Hourly is the excel spreadsheet I have to sift through to get my workers comp. numbers.... along with not being able to download my payroll checks into my Quickbooks desktop.

Love how easy it is to track and pay employees. Also the workers compensation saved me money and is easy to track. Saving time not getting audit each year. Save money and time from day one!

Nachteile:

Really I can’t find something wrong with it. We have worked through the small issues but like with any app and change. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and his team have made that switch and any issues a quick non issue

Kommentare: Our experience has been wonderful. The time savings, accountability, and ability for our team members to manage their accounts independently is wonderful.

Vorteile:

Hourly is very easy to use and offers great features. Our team uses the platform daily and adjustments are quick and easy. Being able to change work locations mid work shift for teams handling multiple tasks for budgeting management is very useful for our business. Additionally, the requirement we’ve set for our company to require approval to overtime is essential to keeping expenses controlled.

Nachteile:

Something that would be beneficial from time to time would be a user manual with common step by step tutorials. However, customer service is very responsive and ALWAYS available to help navigate special situations.

Excellent for Time-Tracking

Vorteile:

Before we starting using the Hourly app we did all of our timecards by hand and had to collect them every week. This is especially difficult with construction sites spread all over the peninsula. The Hourly staff came out and trained all of our employees on the use of the app and got us fully set-up. Now we use it with ease. Even if there isn't cell service at a job site, the app will update once the employee is connected to wifi or in cell range. Managers can easily view job costing data, employee lists and if our employees clocked in on time. I would definitely recommend this app to any one in the construction field!

Nachteile:

Really the only change I would like to see is for the comments our staff leave on their timecards, to show on the PDF exported version of the timecards. Other than that I think it's fantastic!

If you like saving time and money Hourly is for you!

Kommentare: I use Hourly to track time, run payroll and insure my guys with workers comp. I've saved $10,000 or more on workers comp insurance already and love how easy it was to set up everything and get started. Customer service is fantastic!

Vorteile:

I didn't start a business to spend all day on the back office. Hourly has freed up a ton of my time and lets me focus on working on my business instead of working in it.

Nachteile:

Can't really think of any. The app is great and the team is very responsive.

We've had some turn over in our office admin role over the last year. As a result, we've had three separate people in charge of payroll, and Hourly has been wonderful. It's so easy to use, the transition to new employees has been a breeze. And their customer service is top-notch.

Nachteile:

When we first joined, they were very early and were missing a few features we wanted, but they promised those features would come out soon and they did. That means a lot to us that they didn't oversell the product and followed through on commitments.

My Bookeeper has issues getting the reports, and I myself wish it was easier to print out the paystubs. Everything is there just need to look for it.

Kommentare: We are able to keep accurate track of time spent of on different projects, or just office work.

Vorteile:

The application is very easy to follow, and it is versatile enough to correct times and jobs in case you forget to clock in or out.

Nachteile:

I believe the clock timers (when you clock in minutes and hours) can improve. Perhaps adding the options of number sensitiveness in periods of 5, 10, 15 minutes?

This is young software which is still malleable but this is not a negative trait at all.
