Prophesy Dispatch software is an end-to-end solution for trucking or brokerage companies.
It is very useful when billing and keeping track of things. It also is easily integrated with Quickbooks.
The items I like the least are frustrating, but not enough to diminish our enthusiasm for Prophesy. After a load is split there is no way to recombine it which is aggravating.

Premium Dispatch Software / Affordable for Mid-sized Carriers
Kommentare: We were able to increase streamlining our processes which made us more efficient and effective. Also, integration with our ELD's gave us positive communication improvements with our drivers. We continue to work towards maximizing our use of Prophesy. The manuals for the different modules are clearly laid out and understandable which makes this process much easier.
Like any specialty software that replaces a competitor's product, there is a learning curve users must be willing to accept. Prophesy made this easier than most with their up-front training that included recorded sessions online with our Team for follow-up reference. The Load Schedular board is the hub of our operational side of the business which is easy to read and revise. Updates are easy to manually enter, but a highlight is that we have integrated Prophesy with our ELD allowing our drivers to record IN-OUT movements at docks through their ELD directly into Prophesy...a big plus. Master files are easy to develop and maintain and have all the components for drivers and equipment we need to provide alerts when records need updating such as license expirations, maintenance dates due, etc. Individual user customizations of screens are very helpful as well. We converted from the old software to Prophesy in less than 30 days with limited parallel running of the two systems which speaks volumes.
The items I like the least are frustrating, but not enough to diminish our enthusiasm for Prophesy. After a load is split there is no way to recombine it which is aggravating. The sheer number of reports makes looking for "just the right report" a momentous task. Finally, the Equipment Maintenance feature is too cumbersome for our needs, but I can appreciate it working great in many cases.

Great choice for businesses of any size
The integration and setup was very easy, we have a team that has varied computer skill levels and they can all use it without issue. It flows wonderfully with our tracking software. We are actually still learning how to utilize all the various features to continue to streamline our business.
My only complaint would be not truly being able to customize the load tender/freight bill we send to the driver for loading to match our needs 100%, but everything else makes up for it.

Kommentare: overall it is ok. it shows and helps with getting loads to our drivers. but most of everything else we either don't know or don't use at all. the EDI interface needs work and better integration, and working with a 3rd party to get the interface setup was another bad experience. last the software looks and acts like it's from 1990, needs a lot of improvements.
it neatly organizes our loads to that we can dispatch our driver quicker.
reporting module is terrible. navigating inside the software is not easy.
No matter how Large or Small your fleet is this software is reliable and easy to use. We have been using this software since 2017 and have not looked back. Set up was easy and the integration with other programs are a plus. There is a lot of features we have used that has helped us to streamline our company.
Program has a lot of reports, would be nice if we could customize our own reports to our needs.

Kommentare: Overall, I feel Prophesy Dispatch is a great, easy to use and very functional software. I have been a customer since 2004, and the software has been able to grow with me. I started off with a very simplified, affordable version called Dispatch Select, and over the years have been able to add different modules and integrations to grow with my company and needs. I have and will continue to recommend Prophesy to those i know are looking for a dispatch software solution
I like the full integration of all of the information flow. If you take the time to detail the information in all of the master files, whether it be customer, shipper, driver, equipment, or loads, that information flows to every single place you would need it. It is all at your finger tips, and it is up to you how easy you want to make your job. If you will invest the time to create detailed master files, your record keeping will be so much easier later down the road.
This is a product that has been developed for the masses and very generalized for a very wide array of transportation options. The report function is the most lacking, in my opinion. Although there are 100's of preformed reports, there is always something different I could use. I wish I had the ability to customize my own reports.
PROPHESY DISPATCH WORKS WELL FOR US
Kommentare: We are able to efficiently conduct daily operations utilizing Prophesy Dispatch in a fast moving and ever-changing transportation environment. Prophesy provides visibility to all users within our system. It works very well for us starting with the initial call from a customer with a load to be transported and ending with the invoice sent back to the customer after the load has been delivered.
We have used Prophesy Dispatch with several of the additional add-on features for 10-plus years dispatching our fleet of owned trucks, owner/operators, and outside carriers. It has worked very well, providing what we need in transportation software with very few software glitches. What few software issues we have encountered have been handled by the Customer Support team at Prophesy very efficiently and timely. We continue to use the Prophesy Maintenance feature FleetTrax to record all vehicle maintenance. It has proved extremely useful giving us the ability to look back at historical repairs and also provides upcoming maintenance reminders when due for each vehicle. We use Peachtree Software for our accounting and the software engineers at Prophesy have maintained a very easy to use export link to Peachtree. All needed invoice and accounting information flows to Peachtree daily or whenever needed Saferwatch is a very useful integration we use daily while working with outside carriers. It alerts our dispatchers if any of our carriers encounter FMCSA safety rating issues. When hiring new carriers we are able to verify FMCSA safety ratings BEFORE the carrier is under the load. We import all fuel purchases on a daily basis avoiding the keyboard "input" of the fuel purchases.
Prophesy Dispatch provides many very usable reports. It can take a little searching at times to find the report that suits the format needed. The ability to make minor reformatting changes of a report at the user level would be nice.
Our company has utilized Prophesy Software since 2009
Kommentare: We find that the company is very easy to work with and the staff really bends over backwards to help with support issues. The software runs reliably day in and day so we also really don't require a lot of support but when we need it, the support is there on a timely basis and they know their stuff.
One of the most important things was the scalability of the software. In the time that we have used it we have grown from about 7 million in annual sales to about 20 million in annual sales. Our Prophesy users have grown from 1 or 2 people using it part time to about 14 people using it full time without a hiccup. We also went from hosting it on our own server to having it cloud based, so now it can be used from multiple locations. We currently use it from 5 or 6 different locations and it works seamlessly.
I would say the one feature that could be improved would be if reports and document formats could be easily customized by the users. Currently there are tons of reports and formats available but they are not customizable by everyday users. You need to search to find the format that works best for your company or invest money in having a customer report designed by the development group.
Kommentare: We are not a typical trucking company. We are an expedite/hot shot company and the software works well with our different equipment types and circumstances.
Easy to adapt to our company. Asset utilization and tracking at your fingertips is a plus. Integration with other software and applications have been seamless. Customer service has continued to improve and they have always been able to solve any of our issues and they work great with our IT people.
Support costs seem to be costly compared to usage. Updates are not received very often and have had to call about updates in the past. The reporting function is very complicated if you vary from the standard reports and if you want to customize your own reports. Very little instructions on using the reporting tools.
Kommentare: We have been very happy with Prophesy. We have 5 people that use it on a daily basis and every one does things a little different. There are several ways to do something and get the same results. It just a matter of preference.
I really like the settlement portion. I can customize it to only pay drivers or owner operators and also by whether we have received paperwork or not. The dispatching integrates with our ELD provider and we can send drivers their loads.
I do wish that they had a better way to do the accounting without having to use Quickbooks.

The software is easy to use! There are a lot of functions and capabilities available through Prophesy. We've had Prophesy for many years and we are continuing to find ways to better utilize the software and it's integrations. The sales and customer service teams are responsive and always willing to help.
When we were looking for a new ELD provider, we wanted to make sure the ELD provider was integrated with Prophesy. There were a few we were looking at that were not currently integrated, but in the works with Prophesy. However, other integrations have gone smoothly.
Kommentare: WE have had few problems with the software and when needed Customer support is very knowledgeable and very quick to return your call if they are not available when you call.
We are a Trucking Company and also use the software for our Brokerage. The product is very easy to use and there is so much information available with customized reports and it also works great with Quickbooks.
I only wish we had started implementing the software sooner. We wasted a lot of time thinking we did not need all of the technology. We have been using the Prophesy product for almost 20 years.
Built for growth
Kommentare: It solved all of my problems with outside agents and their need to keep their book of business private. the imaging module and Macro Point integration have streamlined all of my dispatch operations allowing my brokers to focus on customers and carriers. I can't say enough good things about Prophesy and the Highjump team.
It has been very easy for me to scale with this software. I have seen a lot of growth over the past 8 years and Prophesy has been there for all of it. Adding modules and users is simple and the service is unmatched.
I least like the outdated look of the software.

Kommentare: Excellent product and support
The most important features for my business are the scalability and the integration with QuickBooks, document management integration with Drive Axle. When we bought the software in 2010, we were an asset based company only. In 2018 we expanded to offer broker services and the software expanded easily, right along with us.
I would like the ability to more within the Document Imaging function.
Good software for them money
Kommentare: This program does everything that a small to mid-sized company would be looking for in a transportation package.
Once everything is set up, it is mostly point and click for use. Being able to dispatch, invoice, and pay all from the same program is the largest benefit.
The worst aspect of this is that a separate module is required for each individual integration, which has a separate cost. It also has an antiquated feel to it overall.
Kommentare: Overall it has been a great product. We have very little issues with it and if we do, support guys are awesome and try to find solutions - even work arounds until a new version is available
I like the ease of use. It is very user friendly.
It would be nice to be able to choose what information you would like to pull as far a reporting. Also think mileage should be updated more frequently.

The layout of the loading times. The design of the Board.
System is hard to navigate. Can not get the information that you need. When you pay for Training sessions they do not know much about it. Software does not do or meet the expectations for our company.
