Gutes Tool, aber sehr unübersichtlich

Die Online-Terminplanung funktioniert gut, aber die Benutzerfreundlichkeit ist leider schlecht

Nachteile:

Als ich die Software genutzt habe und wenn ich sie bei Kunden einsetzen muss, war/ ist die Einrichtung leider ein Graus. Auch die Integration in iCloud hatte bei meinem eigenen Setup vor ein paar Jahren nicht stabil funktioniert.

Kommentare: I have been using Book Like a Boss for a few years now. I have tested different scheduling tools and I have always come back to Book Like a Boss...and now I have done that for good! It's a very solid options, which I regularly use to schedule appointments and virtual meetings, book podcast interviews and organize consulting calls. I definitely think that Book Like a Boss is one of the top options in the scheduling tool landscape.

Vorteile:

There are several features I really like about Book Like a Boss. First of all, there's its overall ease of use. It's easy to navigate through the different sections and carry out the first steps such as connecting and syncing a calendar, creating and customizing an event/appointment, and to connect a payment getaway like PayPal or Stripe to Book Like a Boss. Secondly, I really like the fact that Book Like a Boss can be used not only to schedule appointments, interviews and virtual meetings, but to actually get paid for calls too. You can actually get paid for them before the call takes place, which means that you won't have to chase clients for payments afterwards. Additionally, there's your personal Book Like a Boss page that you can create and add multimedia content (e.g. video), as well as testimonials, FAQs, and more, to it. Another feature I think is valuable is the ability to add custom fields to a form someone needs to fill out to schedule an appointment – you aren't limited just to name and email address, but you can ask for other things. Then, there are integrations. It's possible, for example, to connect Book Like a Boss to tools like Google Calendar, PayPal and Zoom to create a workflow that lets people see your availability, schedule a call – and pay you for it – and have a Zoom room be automatically created for the call.

Nachteile:

One thing that I think could be improved is the customization power users get for their Book Like a Boss page. For how things are at the moment, all pages by different users look pretty much the same... it would be able to have greater options to choose from when creating the page.

Kommentare: I've used other booking calendars, but have suck with BLAB for years.

Vorteile:

The integration is so simple for a WordPress website. What I love the most is that it's in real time and customers can take the responsibility for cancelling or rescheduling.

Nachteile:

The aesthetics can be improved a bit more and support at the time I needed it was a slow.

We are known for being more customizable than any of our competitors. We don't automatically connect your calendars every time you create a new package since every package is different and you may not want to automatically connect each one. This is the first time we are hearing that that is an option someone would like. Also, we allow for unlimited calendar connections, something our competitors don't offer. The BEST Appointment Scheduling and Product Sales Program, Hands Down.

Kommentare: BLAB has made booking our time a breeze and has also improved our sales numbers. The site we created for our business (Company Plan) sells itself with testimonials, videos, and about us sections. It really is a spectacular product and the best booking site on the market.

Vorteile:

The customizability of the booking pages is where this software shines. It is beautiful, intuitive, and offers so many options that you really could use it as the homepage for your business. It allows booking free appointments, products (with credit card payments), and even subscriptions. Having About Me, Testimonials, Videos, Photos, and a Google Map on the booking page - with all colors and fonts customizable - is a game changer. I really can't say enough good things about BLAB. And the customer support is spectacular.[SENSITIVE CONTENT] and the rest of the team are INCREDIBLE. They are responsive, quick to implement changes, and are always improving the product. We came from Acuity to BLAB and will never go back. Never.

Nachteile:

There's really nothing we don't like. In a market full of booking programs, BLAB stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Kommentare: I have used BLAB for more than 5 years. I do like the product and it has improved over the years. We mostly use the product to manage scheduling consultations.

Vorteile:

I like that it is easy to use and implement. It is user friendly and we are able to implement quickly.

Nachteile:

Configuring the booking pages are difficult. There are some functional issues that make it difficult to work with. You cannot change the layout of the pages and the reminders.

Vorteile:

I love the way BLAB takes care of all the administrative tasks behind the scenes so I can focus on providing my best for my clients. Boss takes my business to “a whole ‘notha level”.

Nachteile:

I may need to dig deeper in the awesome tutorials or just reach out to my BLAB rep, but it’d be convenient for me and my clients if there was an option to book recurring 1:1 coaching sessions. I saw that there was a way to do that for events but haven’t yet found the tutorial for 1:1s?!

I've been using Book Like a Boss for 4 years now. I often recommend it to my clients for creating a first webpage with all the e-commerce functions and appointment scheduling they need to get up and running with an online business. It's easy to use and understand, it works great, and the team is always releasing great new additions in functionality.

Nachteile:

It would be nice to have a few more options for sections for the home page.

Such a great tool!

Kommentare: The team is very responsive. Usually within 24 hours and most of the time within an hour or two you will have help. The on-boarding is great.

Vorteile:

Ease of setup and ease of use for my contacts.

Nachteile:

The client side needs an overhaul. It would be great to have clients remembered instead of them being listed 19 times (for example after 19 bookings) in the dashboard. I’m not asking for a full blown CRM but this is definitely what I like least.

Simple Product with Quick To Sale Features

Kommentare: It's been a solid service with ongoing feature updates. I'm not a tech-savvy person and I can navigate here pretty well.

Vorteile:

I can create quick landing pages for products and services and connect to scheduling and payment well before I need to put together the "long-form" stuff. I've been able to operate solely from Book Like A Boss at times.

Nachteile:

I'd love to have a simple "front facing" web/landing page feature that doesn't dive into all the services and events immediately and allows clients to click through to those longer pages.

It's easier on both sides of the experience. My clients appreciate being able to book their sessions when it works for them AND to get their payments taken care of up front. It's also been great for me in better managing my schedule.

Vorteile:

I like the customization. There are so many ways to make this compatible with my branding. I also like the scheduling options - being able to set up time cushions between sessions, sync with my Google calendar, etc. I especially LOVE that bookings can be pending approval! And that I can override and schedule clients earlier if I need to. And the best thing is about this service is that their team actually LISTENS to their customers. They are very communicative and responsive, which is a big deal these days. Great customer service!

Nachteile:

It can be a bit challenging to set up the services. I wish there were categories for the services, and I wish we could set up events & class series (multiple events in one series) more easily. It takes a bit to set up, but it is worth it once it's done. Split payment would also be a nice addition - to be able to have clients pay with deposits for large ticket services or to have installment payments. It would also be good to have more customization of the reminder emails sent to clients. I'd love to be able to put additional information into those emails. But again, what's great about this company is that they LISTEN to their customers, and they're making some of these requested changes (the ones in high demand, anyway). The team is very communicative and responsive.

Kommentare: The benefits I've realized is streamline operations when it comes to client scheduling, consults and networking meetings. Being able to take payment for specific services as well as showcase client testimonials is huge when it comes to social proof. I can have all that I want my prospective clients to know about me and my current network can easily be reminded of who I am and what I do.

Vorteile:

What I like most about Book Like A Boss is the flexibility. You can create as many booking links as you'd like and all under the same or different schedules. I love that my clients can book when needed, there is no back and forth. I set up when I want to have open time and the rest gets filled in without any extra effort or time spent by me. I like that Book can take payment for paid services, making that efficient and seamless.

Nachteile:

I think sometimes where things are can be a mystery. Sometimes I need to poke around and take more time than I need to find what I want.

An amazing scheduling tool

Kommentare: It is so easy to create new appointments and set up all kinds of scheduling parameters with Book Like A Boss. I use it on a daily basis and it gets me out of the back and forth of multiple emails or texts trying to coordinate calendars.

Vorteile:

There is so much to like about Book Like A Boss -- the ease of setting up new appointments and the multiple integrations supported -- calendar syncing, Stripe (for paid services), and probably my personal favorite >> Zoom. In today's world, every conversation I have is face-to-face via Zoom video conferencing. With Book Like A Boss, as soon as someone books an appointment, a Zoom call is booked and call credentials are included with the appointment.

Nachteile:

It's really hard to think of what I like least -- the one thing I'd recommend is thinking about how YOU want to use the tool. The standard options may be nice for some, but I realized the need to simplify and delete many of the "standard options" -- when someone goes to my appointment page...keep it simple and do NOT distract them with other links and options. Just help them book an appointment.

I love BLAB

Vorteile:

So I want to start out by saying that I am a coach and mentor and I also have digital products as well as the need for people to book time on my calendar with certain products and services. So my needs are not only specific, but varied. So now on to what I love-- I've been with BLAB since 2020 as a recommendation and I love it. My favorite thing is def the supporter support. You can tell that the team is dedicated to making this a fab product and helping support their clients, which is not always the case with these types of products.

Nachteile:

As my business started to grow and scale and my needs changed, I have noticed some missing features IE not being able to set a max amount of calls/appointments on my calendar on a daily basis across all of my products and there's not option for clients to update their payment info for payment plans, which means I have to manually do it. For me, BLAB still works, but I would like to see more of these options so I'm not manually having to be in the scheduling or backend part of my biz as much.

The Easiest Way to Schedule Your Day

Kommentare: Wonderful investment. It’s been such a help for my scheduling needs. This service has freed me up from scheduling, conversing with customers about appointment offerings, sending invoices, and crafting confirmations, and reminders. It’s money well sorry!

Vorteile:

It’s easy to use, even for someone like me (ahem, not too tech savvy). It’s organized well. and there are lots of fields to customize my appointments and services. I especially like the price range offer (to allow customers to flex pay what they can), as well as the integrations with my gmail and Zoom!

Nachteile:

I wish there was the capability to add custom times for all the different services. I might want to offer one service on one day, and virtual services only at night. Yet, also need another two options! I am utilizing the global schedule as well as custom settings, but the custom settings are a bulk offering, and I wish it was an override for each service!

Vorteile:

I just found out that i do not need a lot of applications to get going, BOOK LIKE A BOSS is an all in one tool and i don't regret buying it as it is easier to use compared to other schedule software and i can use paypal which makes it even more reliable. Its been a year and half and i am still using it because there is no reason to change.

Nachteile:

I think its perfect and has made my workflow so easy.

I love that Book Like a Boss supports me as a business owner. It takes care of all of my scheduling needs and send reminders to clients. It automatically books the appointments on my calendar and this is extremely valuable!

Nachteile:

When I first started using Book Like A Boss, there was not a Mobile app. This May no longer be the case. I would love to use a mobile app!

Kommentare: My experience with Book Like a Boss has been outstanding... the ability to offer clients their own ability to make and cancel appointments without the need to notify me, has saved me many hours in administration every week, giving me more time to focus on services I can offer to enhance profit.

Vorteile:

I have run several small businesses where online booking was the dream... but once I was referred to 'Book Like a Boss' my goal was finally achievable. For the vast majority of purposes this booking system is easy to navigate, offers extensive flexibility and options to bookings for either the individual or group, along with seamless integration to Outlook calendar.

Nachteile:

There are only a few moments of hesitation with this system, where appointments created aren't displayed online until the appropriate links are made through the 'embeds' link, but once this is understood I have found it amazingly easy to created multiple diaries for different days and town in which I work each week.

Vorteile:

To be honest, if you are a startup with zero revenue, and no funding, or if you are a multi-million dollar company, just use Book like a boss. Honestly, every thing a software can do, this service does.

Nachteile:

There are a few ideas I shared with this team, and they didn't do it yet, but I can understand its not easy for any company to do what every user suggests. But, my ideas were really able to help others too.

My #1 online booking recommendation

Kommentare: I started using an online booking form for my podcast over 5 years ago. It worked well but eventually I had to move up to a paid plan. Once I found BLAB, I switched over and never looked back. It offered more options and flexibility than my previous booking service and was less expensive. I now book podcast guests, online consultation calls, and more using the same BLAB account. And I can even take payments for paid consultations, all within the BLAB interface.

Vorteile:

I like that I can easily connect multiple calendars and create booking options for a variety of free appointments and paid consultations without paying extra for additional booking pages. The forms are very flexible and can gather the information I need to prepare. Additionally, the reminders are great, the ability to embed a form with custom colors and branding is wonderful, and there are even additional integrations such as Zoom.us booking links and Zapier integrations.

Nachteile:

Because BLAB offers so much, it can be hard to find a single booking page to send a direct link. And the Zapier integration with MailChimp could be a little better.

Kommentare: Overall BLAB is a good system and great for the cost. It's super easy to use and the BLAB developers are working hard to improve it all the time. Their Facebook customer support and community is invaluable for finding workarounds, discussing bugs, and talking about what we wish we had on BLAB next. The BLAB team is an active part of the community and also responds in decent time to any tech/bug queries via the website.

I like how easy it is to set up and get running. On the backend, it took me almost no time to get basic functionality working. On the front end for my clients love how easy it is to use.

Nachteile:

That I don't have enough control over how people book. I really need a product that has coded for more complex bookings. I run a spa and this system needs a TON of workarounds. I feel a lot of it is lazy coding that just wasn't thought through. For example the SMS system texts clients reminders for their appts, but it doesn't include the time in it. This just seems lazy. Also they, thankfully added approval options to the booking so that users have to get the booking approved, but that doesn't seem to be the case when a client reschedules. Why? I need all my appts to get approval - esp the rescheduled ones! These are just a few of the booking holes I've come across. I could go on, but in general if you understand that the BLAB team is working on these issues you know what you're getting into.
