Vorteile:

Ich bin großer Fan von dem Videoschnitt via Transkript. Das hat uns viele Stunden eingespart. Auch die KI-gestützte Highlight Funktion um wichtige Stellen inn langen Videos zu finden und daraus eigene Snippets zu erstellen ist fantastisch!

Nachteile:

Die Standard Templateauswahl könnten etwas größer sein, sonst alles top.

Kapwing Is King

Kommentare: When I use this software, I feel all sorts of creative juices flowing because of how jam-packed with features the software really is. A very well-made product that will keep you enticed for hours.

Vorteile:

Removing the background from an image is what I use this software for primarily. It has so many more features that I occasionally dabble into, so its versatile like that. I highly recommend it.

Nachteile:

There are no cons. This software is golden, I mean you can go as far as to making memes on it amongst other things. So no, I don't see any drawbacks from using it. You'd be doing yourself a favor.

Quick, self-service content creation. Relatively painless.

Vorteile:

I love the fact that once everything is setup, the software runs reliably and safely without requiring extreme interventions. It gives me more control over audio and video synching. Recording and streaming at the same time is seamless.

Nachteile:

The set up takes time. But honestly there are no complaints about the features.

Projects take me 5 times longer than they should

Kommentare: Negative - I would have been happy to recommend the product to anyone comfortable with a browser-only interface but due to their refusal to refund unused months on a subscription, I can no longer recommend this company.

Vorteile:

I like the interface and found it user friendly.

Nachteile:

However the fact that it is browser based has given me a lot of headaches. Uploads not working or taking forever. As your videos get more complex, the program can't download them and you need to break them up into chunks. Many times my videos dont download unless I chunk them down into 2 minute increments. For 10-15 minute videos this gets very annoying and time consuming. I'm sad to say I just can't continue using this program, yet I still have many months left in my subscription. But like so many other companies out there, once they get your money, you'll never see it again, even if the product stops working for you. And sure enough, Kapwing will not refund me my remaining subscription months. I'm tired of this. I'm tired of giving away my hard earned money. Because that's essentially what I'm doing. I paid for a video editing program to make my YT videos. But when it takes me 5 times longer to make a video with that program than it does on something like ClipChamp, the product is not what I paid for. Too bad for me though, the money has vanished and can never return.

Its the small things for me

Kommentare: It was able to handle a fairly simple cut of a song I wanted to do at a specific time without compromise and add video to the content without refreshing and reloading. Like beast mode for a few minutes of content and no slack.

Vorteile:

Kapwing is winning at the small things for me, its flexible and easy to use online

Nachteile:

Its still in the infancy of the full things it can do like auto-pan and contrast the sound levels. Its not adobe, but it's worth as an experienced to beginner editors out there.

Kapwing - Want to love it more, but hate how glitchy it is.

Kommentare: I want to like it more, but due to the glitches and the functions I use often (that I think Kapwing lacks) I just find it an annoying platform to use. If these glitches were to be ironed out, this review would have been a lot more positive.

Vorteile:

I love how easy it is to remove audio from video clips quickly, this has made my life a lot easier on a day-to-day basis. I also appreciate how many transitions Kapwing has, as this gives me a lot of choice when creating more exciting videos. My favourite feature which I think is really functional and useful, is the auto subtitle feature which I think is a god-send. It very rarely gets the audio speech wrong, and I only have to change over a few words. It literally saves me a lot of time every use.

Nachteile:

I really despise how glitchy the platform is. It seems every time I use kapwing, there is some sort of glitch. The glitches are: Playhead moves through the video but the video gets stuck on a static image, with the only fix I've found is to refresh the whole page. This is what I dislike the most about Kapwing. Sometimes my videos get stuck on exporting and end up having errors, forcing me to save a copy of my file and try again which is annoying. Saved videos have in the past have been saved with text blocks out of place despite me not changing anything. The background remover tool on video clips is very poor compared to other software I've used. It looks very janky and glitchy. I use this feature a lot, so I suppose I notice it more.

Don't buy it. it's not worth your money.

Kommentare: Kapwing destroys video edits I'm making, something that looks like just technical glitches on the site.
In addition, the automatic subtitles do not work well at all - really bad. I prefer to type the subtitles in a free app instead of spending hours correcting subtitles (which doesn't work well either). It's really rude to charge such a high amount for a site full of glitches like this. If your site is under construction, don't charge money for it or charge a nominal amount. Really angry and expecting compensation. I both paid, and wasted my time for nothing. The never-ending glitches and bugs that simply destroy the work experience and cause that a website that was supposed to save me time, takes more time of my life than parallel applications.

Nachteile:

I understand that Kapwing did not succeed in dealing with some colloquial words and writing them and then translating them correctly. Thanks to the quick language proofing feature, we were able to catch those mistakes and correct them easily.

Vorteile:

I can get content out, transcribed, captioned, edited, and formatted for different medias very quickly. One of the features that I find more interesting is using the AI video creator for quick B-rolls.

Nachteile:

The editor need some polishing, it can take some time to get used to the UX and streamline your workflow.

Great video editor for any social media team

Vorteile:

I loved the collaborative nature and the fact that it works in-browser — my personal computer isn't a barrier to producing a great and slick-looking video easily. You can add music, you can pick custom colors (though the process is a little bit onerous), and you can upload and use custom fonts to match your branding. It's easy to train others to use this.

Nachteile:

I had some issues with text overlay during export (it was in a different position once exported, so I had to fiddle with it/eyeball it and export again), and some of the drag and drop features were hard to get perfectly accurate - I didn't figure out how to snap multiple tracks to begin at the same time, for example.

Kapwing is pure genius. It takes a number of small, easy video tasks, and makes them easier. No need to download software just to reverse or resize a video. This service does it online for free (with a watermark)! These tools include trimming, looping, resizing, reversing, rotating, and converting video, among other functions. I used Kapwing once when I needed to reverse a video for a visual effect. After looking through the basic video editing software I had installed on my computer and finding that none had the feature, I tried Kapwing and it worked like a charm.

Nachteile:

As stated above, you have to endure a watermark unless you want to pay for the service. That being said, it's a small price to pay for such a great service! Furthermore, the creators really do deserve to get paid for their work.

I just love Kapwing. It's an easy and cheap way for editing videos for social media - brands and personal use. It's easy to setup, no bureaucracy.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it just bugs itself and you have to find an workaround for what you are making actually works - usually deleting the workspace and creating a new one is enough.

Great For Editing Videos

Kommentare: This is one of several video editing software options I use when I upload music videos and other items to You Tube. I like it.

Vorteile:

If you are someone who likes to edit or splice videos like myself, this is the place to do it. The free version allows you to merge, splice, cut, and edit videos for You Tube, Instagram and other applications that allow you to use videos. It is fairly easy to use and understand for a beginner who has never used video editing tools before. At the same time the finished product is nice enough for a professional influencer or vlogger to use as well.

Nachteile:

There are limits to file sizes on the free version, so if you are a first time user just checking it out, you may end up having to buy the paid version anyway just to use it, and I occasionally had files not get edited even when they were slightly under the size limit after cutting.

This tool should be in every social media account managers bookmark list. I use this daily to help with video editing. Even if you're a pro video editor, their is no need to be spending hours trying to get the format correct. Kapwing does the hard work for you.

Nachteile:

No real cons, this service is solid. My only wish list request would be the ability to have an archive of the videos I've already worked on. So incase the client needs something edited/resized I don't have to reupload.

Excellent for generating subtitles

Kommentare: Made putting subtitles on my unscripted lectures viable. Without this softwear, I would have really struggled to provide subtitles on lectures I'd recorded without a fully pre-written script.

Vorteile:

I only used to subtitling functions. The auto generation of subtitles was excellent. While it did need correcting (although it got mendelian randomization right first try), having each phrase already set up with timestamps and just having to adjust the exact words saved me so much time. It took me minutes to sort my subtitles for a 20 minute lecture, rather than hours.

Nachteile:

It would have been useful to be able to download the subtitles in more formats - moodle only accepts vtt, and this only exports srt so I had to transform all the files. Trivial to do, but added another step unneeded in my work flow.

I have used this software in several times to edit some videos which I uploaded to my youtube channel. honestly I would like to recommend this as the best video editing software, even for the beginners. Because I had very basic knowledge about video editing. But I could edit my videos easily, up-to my expected level. Actually it is an user friendly software which work & complete our tasks easily. Also we have an option to create our videos without any water marks in Kapwing, on free of charge. It is an unique facility which we can't see in the other software in similar category.

Nachteile:

I would like to see some more animation tools. because the provided tools are very basic & sometimes its not looks suitable for some videos.
