Media Force Capabilities

Kommentare: Overall, the experience has been pretty good. Some major and minor hiccups along the way, figuring things out as we go. Customer service has been great. I just wish for the money, there were some additional features that seem like they could be easily introduced or added, such as the "hiding rows/columns" feature that would be helpful.

Vorteile:

It's fairly user friendly, easy to navigate. Easy ordering and placement. I like that I can reconcile monthly invoices through the software.

Nachteile:

Planning tools in the actual worksheets - I wish there were some additional features that would make planning easier. For instance, hiding weeks should hide the spots/costs, but it doesn't, which makes it hard to plan by quarter or make changes because a client may want to make changes to one month only, but you can't see the monthly breakdown without having to pull an entire report to see what the monthly is. I wish there were better ways to see weekly, monthly, breakouts etc... in the worksheet planning. It also takes a long time to load worksheets. I don't like that when I can only choose one ratings book per worksheet/campaign. If I place a buy per quarter, I can only choose 1 book. Reach/Frequency calculations seem off at times. Would like to see someone at Media Force who is also familiar with the quickbooks side of things to explain it to users. Being compatible with quickbooks is nice and all, but if no one understands how it works to import over, then doesn't really help us and we're now paying an additional $200 fee to Quickbooks for the import process which was an unforeseen cost we were not aware of when purchasing MF.

Media Force Capabilities Review

Kommentare: It has been great overall. It's an effective tool to use for planning and sending orders. It's user-friendly and above all, I have been pleased with the customer service.

Vorteile:

I liked the planning, insights, and reconciling features. They were easy to use and navigate. The customer service has been great as well. Very communicative, knowledgeable and helpful support people.

Nachteile:

I didn't like the fact that when you create a separate worksheet version, it keeps the flight dates the same. I would've liked to have multiple versions where I can manipulate flight weeks. I also didn't like how every campaign shows up in reports. It should only be campaigns that have orders attached, or at least the option to choose.

that digital is included and that you can combine broadcast and cable to get one reach and frequency. compatibility with quickbooks.

electronic invoicing is tedious and takes up a lot of time each month

Value for the Money

Kommentare: While it does not have every bell and whistle, the program is robust and provides all the reports I need. The worksheet, while not entirely customizable, is easy to read and work with. I am very pleased with this software!

The software is easy to use, easy to learn.

I would appreciate more flexibility in setting up the worksheet.

It does ALL we need, and for a LOT LESS!!

Kommentare: Overall I would say media force has been a very good partner and has worked well with us these past 10 months.

Vorteile:

Being the president of the company, the very first thing that caught my attention was the price. In talking with our media buyer she seemed to feel that features available were very compelling especially considering the overly expensive software we had previously been using for years.

Nachteile:

I feel the main feature that could be improved on would be the monthly recap of each market and what we are spending there. The format is laid out in an XL sheet and doesn't provide as much information as I would personally like. Is it a deal breaker? absolutely not.

Vorteile:

Value for the software, customer support , the ease of using the software design of the product . We changed to this product from Strata had more features that we did not use and the software was to expensive for us . We had not choice when Nielson dropped using smart plus . Glad to see we have options to use now since we are very small agency and the cost is perfect for us. The training was easy and able to email one contact when we have a questions and get a answer right back is important to me since I will be in the process of building a schedule and come to cross roads and don't have time to wait . Saves me time and aggravation .

Nachteile:

Not being able to print a Report that to show the client before we create a order. I have to reduce the size and it not readable

Kommentare: Moving off of one platform to another was a stressful journey. I spent countless hours searching for that perfect platform. Once I connected with the reps at MediaForce, I knew I was headed in the right direction. The transition has been wonderful. The two of them have been incredibly understanding and patient through the transition. The product speaks for itself, but the customer service they provide is on a whole other level.

Vorteile:

MediaForce is very intuitive. It is well laid out and has all the features most agencies need including ratings integration, ranker reports, and electronic invoicing. Planning, buying and placing all media is easy with MediaForce. Importing buys from other systems is clean and simple. The customer services is outstanding! No long wait times, and immediate solutions are rendered. MediaForce also offers tiered pricing based on agency needs.

Nachteile:

Being a newer product, little glitches occasionally pop up that need fixing. However, the response is immediate and most are done on the same call or within hours.

MediaForce - Big Value, Small Investment

Kommentare: MediaForce has been great. The product is solid, the company has been responsive to any issues we have had and open to suggestions for improvement. They have been launching new versions, consistently iterating so we expect the experience to improve even more over time.

Vorteile:

MediaForce features a simple, easy to use (and easy to learn) UI that does not sacrifice on the basic features needed to plan, buy, order and manage linear and digital media campaigns. The software is easy to deploy (web based), simple to learn (and their one on one training is terrific) and the product offers most of the features that the 'big name' media buying software companies charge 5x. MediaForce delivers significant value without sacrificing on the tools needed to manage a media campaign.

Nachteile:

Currently there is no SCX file export funtionality.

Good overall experience

Kommentare: Good response to problems and questions. Open to requests for upgrades.

Vorteile:

It's user friendly and is constantly updating and evolving. I am excited to try the new tiered rates feature/function.

Nachteile:

On the Smart Reports I wish the stations would be organized by market instead of alphabetically. It's a function we want to use, but at this time is too cumbersome with multi-market clients. Also, on the Media Plan function, it's not as easy to use and don't see a need for it as it is now.

MediaForce delivers for my Clients

Kommentare: Making multiple Media Buys each week throws a lot on my plate, MediaForce is a wonderful resource in keeping everything organized and on track.

Vorteile:

MediaForce is my daily partner, it is very flexible , it helps me deliver buys more efficiently by eliminating redundant processes, and it allows me to navigate different media markets and sets up buys across multiply platforms.

Nachteile:

As MediaForce grows and adds features, I always look for ways to incorporate them and improve my buys.

MediaForce Review

Kommentare: The software is saving our agency money without losing any productivity. The set-up took some time, but it was well worth it.

Vorteile:

The broadcast, radio, digital, print and OOH are all on one page for easy navigation. It is easy to use and has all the features that I need to successfully place a media buy. The star of the software is actually the customer service. It is refreshing to get an immediate response to questions and comments.

Nachteile:

I am not able to send out cable orders with a .scx file. However, I expressed my concern and MediaForce is working on it. Also, I was the first agency that uses Clients & Profits (C&P). There have been bumps along the way, but with the knowledge and level of customer service that is offered, many of the issues were fixed right away.

Great tool for agency media buyers

Kommentare: It can really expedite the planning/buying process. It's just easier to maneuver around and create buys. I can probably do two or three buys in the time it used to take me to do one in SmartPlus. And if you have any questions or concerns, the team at GaleForce is easy to get a hold of and they seem real responsive. Excellent experience so far.

Vorteile:

It's got a modern interface, and it's fast and easy to use. It has some features and capabilities previous media buying/planning tools I've used did not have. You can have multiple markets and multiple media on one worksheet, and it can calculate a combined reach and frequency for radio and TV. I don't think any other software does that. It's browser-based, not module-based like old school media software, so everything is in front of you all the time. You just open up new tabs if you need to do something while you're in a worksheet. It really is easy to use and makes it easy to replicate buys or create variations of them. Very cool tool.

Nachteile:

It's new so they are still rolling out features. So in the platform there are some features that are greyed out; they aren't available yet. I look forward to giving them a shot.

From a Media Buyer's Perspective

Kommentare: I have had the opportunity to work on TapScan, Salesforce, Strata and Smartplus; and MediaForce integrated some of these best ideas from these media buying platforms. I had no problem transitioning over to MediaForce. There are still a few features that could have been better developed and more intuitive, but the MediaForce development team is very quick on getting suggestions implemented. Overall, I would definitely recommend MediaForce as a media buying platform.

Vorteile:

Ease of use and access (whether at home or in the office).

Nachteile:

Some aspect of the software is still clunky

Watch out Strata/Freewheel!

Kommentare: Since SmartPlus was decommissioned a while back, we have been trying different buying software and were not happy AT ALL with any of them, regardless of pricing. We contacted MediaForce early-on, and had to wait till they were ready. They allowed us to beta test for them and sincerely listened to our suggestions. The developers wanted to make this the best, easiest to use buying software, and they absolutely achieved their goals!

Vorteile:

We definitely like the ease of use - it's extremely intuitive software. The developers created many shortcuts which save us time, making us more productive than on any other buying software we had used in the past..

Nachteile:

Can't think of anything that we hadn't already worked through during our beta testing...

Reconcile Your Media Accounts Easier and Faster

Kommentare: I’ve been using the reconciliation part of MediaForce for seven months and it has made my job much easier. Being a previous SmartPlus user, the transition was very easy. I do more than 50 reconciliations of TV and Radio invoices per month and it’s great that I can use this program on any device. I would highly recommend to anyone who has to reconcile media accounts.

Vorteile:

MediaForce is very easy to use from an accounting perspective. I can import files from TV and Radio portals and MediaForce automates the matching process from the Order to the Invoice, There are close-up views of spots, run times, commercial names, and all data points. I can find "Spot" outliers that do not match the original Order and move them to other areas or choose to list them as unmatched. MediaForce also has nice reports that list all pertinent data.

Nachteile:

Some features could use a little more refinement, but the support and development teams have been very accommodating of my requests so far, so I'm hopeful.

Time-Saver

Kommentare: Overall we are very happy with this software. The team that set us up has been extremely patient and helpful. They are very responsive and have taken suggestions for future development features. We always feel like we can ask them about any questions that come up.

Vorteile:

The invoice reconciliation is the best feature for me. This saves me so much time and it is really easy to navigate. I really like the feature that you can make changes that will save back to the worksheet also.

Nachteile:

Worksheet set up and copying could be easier.

Seamless Transition

I just started using your program yesterday and it was seamless for me. It is just like SmartPlus and super easy to get started. THANK YOU

Nachteile:

The only issue I'm having is within the worksheet, it would be nice if the line you're working on was highlighted. I've got 16 weeks showing and I'm having a little issue following that back to the beginning of that line.

Media Force great option for price

Vorteile:

The customer service/tech support and the ease of use are what I like most about this software. The Google analytic reporting has also been very beneficial in showing effectiveness of campaign.

Nachteile:

Sometimes there are some tech issues since its a newer product.

Solid Product For The Price

Vorteile:

The product is priced well and is a solid media buying software. The company seems to be improving and adding features as needed, but it would be nice if the platform was built out a little more, especially for digital media buying.

Nachteile:

The software seems to get overloaded with large files. Cable files in particle seem to overwhelm the system.

Kommentare: The biggest problem was cost. We're a small agency and the cost of Strata was so high. Overall we like the functionality. Like any new software it's evolving, but they are open to input.

Vorteile:

The software is very easy to use. It functions very much like SmartPlus so if you're familiar with that platform, you'll find the switch very easy.

Nachteile:

There are some bugs, but their customer service is always on top of it and usually work them up within hours. The order entry process could be streamlined, although when you enter avails electronically you can avoid that.

Great new media buying system

Vorteile:

I like the ease of use and the seamless approach from start to finish. I like that you can create multiple versions of a worksheet and that you can break out the various non broadcast media types (digital, out of home, print, etc.) as well as being able to look at both Nielsen and Comscore ratings for TV.

Nachteile:

There are some good reporting features but I would like to see some more customization options. However, I know that is coming down the road, as this is a brand new product and new features are being added.

Great Media Buying Solution

We have just started using this program and it is great. It is easy to transfer our buys from Strata and very user friendly.

You cannot send the orders directly to the stations.
