Kommentare: Overall, Zinc has helped our compliance and also saved us a lot of time in chasing for references for candidates. [sensitive content hidden] our account manager is very hands on and helpful.

Vorteile:

Zinc's customer support is always helpful and efficient and have access to the knowledge and skills to resolve my question from their chat feature. The results provided from the checks are clear and easy to understand

Nachteile:

Sometimes there are checks pending and it's not always clear if an action is needed on my side as admin or on the side of the candidate. To resolve this, a quick chat with the support team clarifies this and sends a nudge to whoever it is pending for.It would be good for this to be clear on the check page.The tool used to be very notification heavy, but I know this has now been fixed

Seamless Greenhouse integration, flawless support, innovative approach, fantastic flexibility.

Kommentare: We're using it to reference between first and second interview. I was worried about candidate pushback but haven't really received any.

Vorteile:

I like how well it integrates with our ATS. It's easily built in as a step in our Greenhouse processes, and integrates really well into our process. We started using this product when we added references between first and second interviews. The support has been outstanding, every minor issue receives prompt attention and we had total support during setup. We're a tech company and I like how slick the interface is; it allows responses via text and we get the responses more quickly that way. The system is also highly customize-able.

Nachteile:

I really don't have a ton of constructive feedback. It's working well for what we need and we can change as our needs evolve.

Zinc has saved us so much time

Kommentare: Overall brilliant. Easy to do, even if you have checks that you don't usually require, such as regulatory roles, you can just create a package online and they invoice you for what you need. Their customer support is quick, easy and sort out any issues you have straight away. Strongly recommend.

Vorteile:

We previously did our references and DBS checks in house. Adding Zinc into to our ATS for automation has been a game changer. As a small team, it has saved us so much time!

Nachteile:

The only one tiny thing is to put in a template email for referencing for regulatory roles, and explain why you need to ask the extra questions. Might also be good to have template questions from FCA forms

Kommentare: Fabolous experience with Zinc, i never thought background checks will take minutes for verifying the contacts, and another important aspect is its connecting with the reference directly within minutes and taking their valuable inputs, and providing the acknowledgement for the same to the user, which makes this Zinc as global leader!

Vorteile:

Is its self explanatory feature which makes the whole process much easy, steps taken in building its GUI and API are useful.

Nachteile:

Improve the resolution of CS timing, as it takes a little time to get in touch with CS team.

Easy to give references; helps kickstart the process and provides structure

Vorteile:

Keep in mind I've only used this to write a requested references for friends. A lot of the time when asked to provide a reference, it can be hard to construct from scratch. Zinc made this really simply by providing direct questions and easy to access keywords to describe an individual. Furthermore, it creates questions ahead of time to help you really focus on communicating what is necessary.

Nachteile:

Typing experience is a bit strange (buggy?) - I found when pressing backspace to remove a letter after a new word and a space that it would also remove the space as well leading to a bit of a confusing typing experience at times.

Helpful and responsive customer service

Vorteile:

Easy to use, very responsive and helpful customer service that are always ready to help. Easy to keep track of the who, what and when of the different checks that we request.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the criminal checks can take too long, occasionally it is quicker/needed to go directly to GOV for the criminal check if the criminal check is urgent, however that is more expensive. The disclosure Scotland Application Form process is a bit inconvenient as it seems to have changed to a more long winded way of doing it. Invoices can sometimes be a bit difficult to understand where the purchases came from but customer service can find out for us quickly.

Zinc Background Check Review

Kommentare: I haven't had any negative experiences with the company or the product since the start of use. My experience was very positive overall. Instant communication and notification of any change of updates are overall my favorite feature.

Vorteile:

My most liked feature about the software is how instantly I got responses about my documents uploaded. There was always constant communication.

Nachteile:

Something that could be improved is the reference check option. When details are entered and a mistake is made, there is no option to edit the details entered and one would need to reach out to Zinc to have this updated, this could possibly delay the process.

Great and easy to use

Vorteile:

I used Zinc for a background check in a recent role change. I made a mistake initially but got in touch with the team who corrected it for me quickly, with great customer service. The results came back very fast, and it was sorted within 48 hours! A great service.

Nachteile:

Nothing that I can think of so far. All positive.
