Kommentare: For the many years, I have used PayPal for my payments both as a merchant and a buyer, the new development on PayPal-Checkout has given me a true and new experience. As a frequent shopper with PayPal set as my payment option, using PayPal-Checkout have given me choice, control and freedom for easy payment. When I visit most of my shopping sites, I realized the situation was the same and the payment process completed in minutes and in very easy steps.

Vorteile:

. It's very rare for me to talk about my personal experience with software but for PayPal-Checkout it will be an injustice if I maintain the silence. What I enjoyed most. The fact that I didn't have to get back to my PayPal account in order to initiate payment securely was a life-changing experience for me. All the necessary steps for the PayPal-Checkout are automated and I don't have to provide the information manually whenever I need to make payment. A secure connection is offered and the billing information together with shipping automatically generated at a click of a button. What a nice experience? Thanks to technology. I already had a PayPal account at the time I discovered about the PayPal-Checkout making me enjoy an easy time to make all my payment. The software is very greats since it doesn't transfer any cost to the buyer when used for making payment hence very cost effective. When I first interacted with the platform and I was able to receive all the information including the payment transaction ID which proved it was now more real to me. Since I use the same software to receive payment, the steps to enable my API setting and access were very easy when I created my online store. The checkout option supports may merchants and I was able to receive payment and notifications at the right time.

Nachteile:

Some of the limitations. No perfect platform can be without a few loopholes and this is some of the disadvantages I have experience when using PayPal-Checkout sing. You must have a PayPal account to enjoy convince caused, the connection can be affected by slow internet connection and inability to pay merchants without ready APIs. In my opinion, PayPal-Checkout is the greatest move that has happened in our time hence we must embrace it.

The Android App For Accessing PayPal

Kommentare: The PayPal Commerce Platform has been a great solution for my business. I am able to accept card-based transactions on the go with features such as contactless payments and invoicing which is a huge time saver for me.

Vorteile:

There is a commitment to ease of use and simplicity for ALL users including those with disabilities and impairments. Customers have the ability to refund purchases, for example, made with a voice phone through spoken commands such as 'I want a refund'. This function has already been built into their Android app. That's amazing!! This platform strives to include everyone with compassion and sensitivity. I definitely can stand behind that!!It might take a bit longer for customers to get their refund sometimes but overall I'm happy

Paypal is easy, secured for online transfers

Kommentare: Easy to transfer and accept money, at one click. I like that it gives timely updates on each step of the process to my email. Free transfer and paid transfer options are good depends on the urgency of the users. I prefer to use Free transfer.

Vorteile:

I use PayPal for online transfers. Easy sharing of information securely, and the transfer was hassle-free.

Nachteile:

The Paypal asked to change the account password, thought it was a good practice to keep the account secure. But no other accounts I use ask the times like Paypal to change the password.

Terrible customer support

Vorteile:

Used by a lot of people. Easy to integrate to my online store

Nachteile:

They limited my account which has literally paused my business activity. The reason for it? No proof of address. I have given them the bills, utility statements, government documents, even the tenancy agreement and a letter from the owner showcasing the proof of address and yet still they fail to accept it and give me an accurate reason why. Stupid! Not to mention they LOST 500USD of my money and blamed it on my bank. I went to the bank and talked to the branch manager in which we concluded the money has not gone in. PAYPAL failed to provide enough evidence showcasing that they even started the transaction. Every time I bring it up they tell me that it is my bank's fault - same response each time. I will be moving to STRIPE purely because PAYAL customer service is terrible. I want my money removed from PAYAL as soon as possible - if they will even let me. If you value your money and information DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT go with PAYPAL. They are almost a scam.

Good Functionality, Questionable UX

Vorteile:

PayPal Commerce Platform provides all the payment processing, invoicing, and shipment management functions I need to run my small business.

Nachteile:

The UI is a little bit frustrating. It’s hard to see all your information in one place. Each function feels siloed off from the others. The ShipStation integration is particularly awkward.

Easy to use payment processor

Kommentare: After almost 3 years of using PayPal, it is still the only platform that I send invoices from outside of offline banking.

Vorteile:

I think their best feat would be the ease of initially setting up the account and sending invoices, their customer service is top-notch. When I had emergencies I was able to get hold of them even during weekends.

Nachteile:

The only con that made me reconsider using the Paypal Commerce Platform was the transaction holdups at the beginning and the source of funds verification that I needed to provide to their customer service to be able to unfreeze the transactions. This was prominent in the beginning of implementing this solution.

Remain the stable commerce platform internationally

Kommentare: A default, go-to platform for small to medium firms. Has sufficient features to support the growth of them into large organisation too.

Vorteile:

Intuitively easy to use for anyone with little to advanced technological knowledge. Can be access from anywhere (international services feature).

Nachteile:

Have not identify any cons so far. It is providing the right feature for the purpose. Some domestic features in certain countries may not be useable due to local rules, but this is outside paypal's control.

My perfect wallet, PayPal is help me to get my invoice from client.

Kommentare: My Experience to use PayPal in 3 years is perfectly good & not have complain.

Vorteile:

Simple UI, easy to use, modern, & have a better secure. it make me safe.

Nachteile:

Need more specific currency or newest value currency. it make me annoying to transaction with another currency.

Kommentare: As a young company with typical issues of cost vs benefit, PayPal has been our partner as we grew from a little "mom and pop" business, to the largest worldwide manufacturer of sporting good products in a niche market. Years and years ago the "PayPal Verified" logo on our website was a big selling point for our products from our perspective and from the perspectives of our customers. The additional bells and whistles that PayPal offers to its clients is just as highly prized as that PayPal Verified logo was. The PayPal platform integrates almost seamlessly with our other e-systems. PayPal isn't manufacturing our niche sporting goods products, but they certainly know the business needs of their clients. A silly, simple example - the PayPal Virtual Terminal function - this enhancement that occurred a few years ago was like heaven. I shopped for credit card processing systems that would be a good fit for a small company. We tried a few different, highly respected banking institutions to process our credit card sales. Pre- PayPal our credit card processors made more money of electronic transactions than we made as the manufacturer of a product! Enter PayPal - Viola! We know exactly what credit card processing will cost us. We can budget accordingly and price our products at a reasonable level - no more ridiculous price increases just so we could accept credit cards. We have a webmaster now, and HE likes working with PayPal Commerce!

Vorteile:

We have used various iterations of PayPal since our first website almost 20 years ago. We were a small, young company with limited programming and commerce platform experience and expertise. PayPal customer support has been there every step of the way. Our growth and corporate expansion would not have been so dramatic were it not for PayPal technology and a truly committed, savvy workforce. All online "help" functions have been well written and easy to follow, and when our knowledge required more intensive help, PayPal personnel have been easy to reach, easy to understand. PayPal personnel follow up after integration of PayPal systems and they want to know how they can improve - their follow up has always been about serving us, not just reaching out to garner a useless 5-star review.

Nachteile:

I can't provide a meaningful area for improvement. I literally feel as though PayPal commerce anticipates my needs before I even know I need help. There have been instances where I thought, it would be so nice if I could do XXXX with this platform. I go to the help menu, and there is already a report format that does exactly what I had hoped for. And if the online help function isn't sufficient due to my lack of expertise, there is always a human literally only a phone call away. I cannot emphasize how grateful I am of this kind of support. I would happily pay twice the amount of my current fees, just to keep this support going - tho I don't want pricing to go up too much. PayPal is a HUGE bang for the buck!

PayPal- The Payment Platform

Kommentare: My experience with PayPal was great until they started holding my money every week, and each hold lasts 21days unless the client confirms receipt. If that would be sorted out, I would be fine.

Vorteile:

It allows us to make and receive payments in different currencies and is flexible in terms of making payments to multiple recipients. This has made it possible to transact with clients from different parts of the world. Reconciliation is easy as the platform provides a detailed report and transaction history. Integration with other e-commerce tools is a big plus.

Nachteile:

Whereas the platform helps manage risks associated with fraud, having to be on the receiving end of that isn’t fun at all. Lately, I have had every payment held for 21days simply because it's a virtual product, and customer support hasn’t been helpful at all. I have provided all that they’ve requested to sort out the mess but still no progress. My clients make payments and still have to go back into the account after 48hours to confirm receipt, that’s too much hustle. I’m actually considering other alternatives as it is right now.

PayPal Checkout for a Small Business

Kommentare: Overall, PayPal Checkout has been a simple, safe, and reputable solution to offering online payments to my clients. With its easy Wordpress integration, I invested very little time into getting set up. Being able to take payments ahead of meeting my clients in person has been a boost to business, so I am willing to overlook the fees incurred with taking payments online through Paypal Checkout.

Vorteile:

I am a professional freelance photographer and I take bookings through my website. I needed a safe, reputable and easy way for clients to pay for their sessions and products online. PayPal Checkout was the solution to my problem. It easily integrated into my Wordpress website so my clients don't need to leave my website to complete payment. It's mobile friendly, which is a great feature since I know at least 50% of my clients access my website on their phones.

Nachteile:

My biggest complaint about Paypal Checkout can hardly be avoided; the fees I incur when clients pay me through it. I don't know of any free sales merchant, though, so this may be a moot point. My second complaint would be that customer service is lacking. I recently had an issue where all of clients' credit cards were being declined through Paypal Checkout on my website and I had trouble speaking with customer support about why this was happening.

Best For Small Businesses

Vorteile:

I recommend this to those who're starting up because it makes receiving payments from new or existing clients easier. On my site, we only use PayPal to process money because it's available in most countries and opens up a wider customer base. The interface is simple and straight to the point, which I like. And copying code to your website is not a tedious task.

Nachteile:

I do not have any complaints whatsoever! I have been using the software for personal use for a long time (7+ years); the transition to business mode was easy and provided better features and usability.

Paypal Checkout - a must have on your site

Vorteile:

We have been using Paypal Checkout on our website for over 10+ years. Our demographic is mostly older individuals and we found that they prefer Paypal checkout over a general merchant account on our website. The ease of use for the consumer is great and payments are processed near immediate. Also, the money is available on our side very quickly. Transferring to our account takes only 1 business day as well. I highly recommend having Paypal Checkout as an option on your website.

Nachteile:

The reports aren't great and definitely could be spruced up a bit. Since we have been using them for so long, the reports really haven't changed much in all those years. So, we kinda just got used to it now.

Send Only Option For Nepelese Citizens

Kommentare: I am using Paypal for making payments to the tools and software that I needed for my business. There is no reliable international payment option in Nepal other than PayPal. I am paying bills for my domain, hosting, SEO tools through the card linking with my Paypal account.

Vorteile:

PayPal is the world's most used payment gateway and helps me to link myself with the global payment system. With the help of Paypal, I can purchase tools and software that are needed for my business.

Nachteile:

The main demerits of using PayPal from Nepal is its send-only option. As a Nepalese citizens I am unable to receive funds on PayPal but I am allowed to pay through my Paypal linked card for my shopping.

Essential for anyone in sales!

Kommentare: We wanted to give the customers a variety of options to pay so it's not a negating issue when checking out. I wouldn't want to lose a potential sale because we didn't have Paypal. Overall, the convenience, simplicity, and ease of use make it a no-brainer!

Vorteile:

The ease of use to add it to our Shopify online sales page. It gives customers just another option to pay. With PayPal being so popular payment platform it seems almost necessary for anyone doing sales to use Paypal. The fees per transaction are very reasonable. The Paypal portal is so easy to use and operate as well. You can easily sync with your bank account and transfer funds the next day for free! So I wouldn't recommend using the instant transfer which requires an extra fee unless you need your funds immediately. It's really hard to mess anything up using Paypal checkout!

Nachteile:

The only thing I can think of is sometimes when I download activity reports, it can be a bit slow/buggy. Other than that I don't really have any complaints.

Best Payment System in the World

Kommentare: I currently use it more for payments for international services, I still use it very little, but I intend to use it a lot, as it is the pioneering software for online payments. It is the most accepted worldwide and the best known. I even use it to make online payments, as it is very reliable. I recommend this software without fear

With certainty is the ease of registration and ease of use, as the most used and known payment software worldwide.

Nachteile:

The only thing lacking in my humble opinion is the ease with which in Brazil the competitor has Pagseguro or Mercado Livre to be able to pay in installments. I could think of this at least for users in Latin America

PayPal not Perfect

Kommentare: I do not care for PayPal because more than a dozen of times my account has been put on hold or suspended for nothing, simply because of their computer system. Customer service is clueless whenever you can get a hold of them.

Vorteile:

Reoccurring payments, easy use and setup, customers do not have to have PayPal to pay you, and it's safe.

Nachteile:

Apple Pay and Cash app is easier to me because the payments are quicker and sometimes PayPal stop payments or you can't make or accept payments. Your account can be suspended for months without any explanation, it takes days to contact customer support, a lot of people do not like using PayPal because their system is wrong by a computer and your account can be put on hold at any time.

Great Tool for Paying and Receiving money for E bay transactions

Vorteile:

I like the easiness with which this tool can be integrated with my Ebay selling account. The features related to dispute resolution are also good for both buyer and seller. The money transfer to the bank account is instantaneous.

Nachteile:

There are a number of this which can be improved in PayPal, first and foremost the fees charged is very high which should be reduced. Also for new sellers PayPal holds the money for 21 days which is a huge bottleneck.The dispute resolution process is good but its very time consuming.

Convenient checkout process for our customers

Kommentare: PayPal helps a lot in avoiding fraudulent transaction. Thus reduced our loss.

Vorteile:

Makes our checkout process very user friendly. It is very convenient for our customer who use PayPal. They will just login and all the details are filled. And of course every transaction is backed by PayPal.

Nachteile:

The new interface design. You need to do a lot of clicks before you can access the search bar. And when you search something, you have to select a category first. If i remember correctly, the old interface allows you to just input the transaction ID and then hit enter.

A must for your e-commerce business!

Kommentare: Because my e-commerce business uses PayPal Checkout, customers who use PayPal feel safer that they have PayPals guarantee and do not have to disclose their credit card information to make a purchase. Because of this I am seeing more customers, and more using PayPal.

Vorteile:

I liked that customers could instantly check out with PayPal by clicking the checkout with PayPal button. The payment is instantly sent to your business PayPal account and the customer has the peace of mind of the PayPal protection.

Nachteile:

The fees are a little high and instantly taken away from the customers payment.

I just reviewed the actual Paypal resource and this Paypal Checkout is their best option for making an efficient purchase quickly!

Vorteile:

I've used Paypal Checkout in many websites like Best Buy, Target, Kmart/Sears, and others. The fastest way to pay as all one needs is their email and Paypal password, often times places I order from a lot have the one-click pay option.

Nachteile:

Nothing, works great in most store websites.
