The downside of trying to be a system for everyone means that at some point it might become too difficult to use, or difficult to learn, especially as Jane becomes popular in other countries.

Best Clinic Software 10/10 Recommendation
Kommentare: Jane is invaluable to my business. My clients can book on line with ease. I can build their client profiles, chart, keep track of billing and print out a multitude of reports all very easily. I look forward to each new feature or update that jane keeps coming out with.
Vorteile:
I love how easy and intuitive Jane is when learning new aspects of the software. The customer service support staff are very quick to help problem solve or send you in the right direction. Jane university is incredibly helpful when trying to problem solve your self or learn new aspects of the software. The integration with Telus has saved so much time for me daily, it really adds up. I also love the ability to use Jane payments so clients can use credit cards to pay.
Nachteile:
I wish there was an option to keep canceled appointments viewable in your schedule. Maybe similar to the wait list feature. You just click on it and it pops up to show you the clients that canceled that day.

Hi Kayle, Wow! Thank you for your 10/10 recommendation and all the stars. I love that you've had a chance to chat with our support team and explore Jane university. I'm also hearing that you've been enjoying Jane's insurance features and integrated payment processing! I have some good news - there is a way to view canceled appointments in your schedule. Just navigate to the Schedule and select the little wheel in the bottom right-hand corner. Go ahead and click the toggle beside "Canceled" and voila! I'd think twice before using Jane
Kommentare: Very poor staff support so far. First zoom call was close to useless and he just wanted to get off call and second one Jane staff did not show up for! Very displeased

Not able to set up software yet so nothing so far.
Nachteile:
Jane staff member did not show up to scheduled zoom call with no word or explanation. Multiple calls to try to set up new software with only minimal actual contact. They just don't answer calls or return voicemails

Comprehensive with Incredible Support
Kommentare: I've tried a few systems, but Jane is the one app I trust to make sure all my needs are taken care of.
Vorteile:
I enjoy the comprehensive nature of the product. That I can maintain my schedule, my client roster, my notes, and financial transactions all in one place makes it very convenient. The customer support is incredible and helped me through some reasonably complex questions. Jane also anticipates my needs, for example sending a comprehensive email about setting up the POS system, the moment I ordered it, so all I had to do was open the box and follow the instructions (that were both written and included visual screen shots. Bravo!)
Nachteile:
There is a bit of a learning curve to the product. It isn't as intuitive as some booking programs. And the online video sessions still need a bit of work, but it is improving!

A great starter EHR
Kommentare: Jane App was a great experience. I think I would have used this EHR full time if it had a few more integrations like 2-way texting (which is may now have as an add-on option)

Jane is super affordable, and has more features than you would think!
Nachteile:
Jane had no way to store and easily view X-ray images. As a chiropractor who does take Xrays on his patients, that was critically important to me.

Jane is very user-friendly. It is also intuitive. Templates are easy to follow and customize too.

It is a pricey software. Sometimes there are too many bells and whistles that only a large clinic would potentially use.

I highly highly highly recommend
Kommentare: I'm usually pretty critical of companies that I work with and expect a lot out of them. Jane is one of the few companies that I would say that I would highly recommend. I started off with another company in that was a nightmare and then switched to Jane and it was like night and day.
Vorteile:
We got the company set up with him a month and the transition was generally seamless. I describe it like what happened with Y2K or everybody was really freaked out at first and then everything went just fine. Their customer support is amazing and all of the people that I have worked with have been very knowledgeable and if they don't understand they look into it and get back to you within a timely manner.
Nachteile:
I don't have anything negative to say about the system or the people. There are various functions, bills, and whistles that I wish they had but they seem to be pretty good about listening to feedback and improving their system.

Kommentare: Great, I'm slowly learning. As my practice evolve I'll be able to speak more about my experience.
Vorteile:
The support is amazing! All Jane representative I have spoke with we knowledgeable, friendly, supportive, and so useful! The platform looks professional and overall user friendly.
Nachteile:
The French features. My practice is bilingual so I find it a little harder to navigate between the 2 languages.For example: I have chose my platform in English but I'd like to share etc "how to book an appointment" video to my English and French clientèle but didn't seem to be able to find the French version of it. I also teach yoga and workshops so I sell packages. At this time people who purchase packages can't sign up for more than 1 session. It simply adds up to the work "behind the scene". Just a constructive comments.

Jane is the best software i've ever used!
Kommentare: I don't have a bad thing to say about Jane. I've used 3 other software's prior to Jane and they pale in comparison. I set up my own practise 2 years ago and I honestly feel Jane made the whole process so much easier. Thank you Jane - easy 5 stars from me.
Vorteile:
The online booking, statements and billing documents, it integrates with stripe and phsyiapp, easy to customize forms etc. You can duplicate notes create phrases which makes writing notes quick and easy. Customer service is fantastic. Above and beyond any other similar service. And when you need to leave they send you PDF of all client notes which makes it a breeze to comply with data safe keeping.
Nachteile:
I wish they offered it in the country I am moving to.

Charting limitation.
Kommentare: Positive. Usually did not have to wait very long on the phone. Support is usually very pro active and gets back to you within 24 hours.

Great customer service, willingness to assist and brainstorm a solution.
Nachteile:
We are a medical cosmetic clinic. Charting of injectables treatments are crucial. This is lacking on Jane's template library. Your template choice should keep up with the industry's innovation of treatment so that we can easily choose the template for laser treatments, radio frequency, microneedling, chemical peel, etc.

Great customer service
Kommentare: Nothing is perfect, but the overall experience is great due to customer service.

The customer service. They are all so knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. Especially [sensitive content hidden]!
Nachteile:
1) When I click on "Great" to the question "How would you rate my reply?" nothing happens, that button doesn't work. 2) I just lost a staff member (and all her clients attached to her) because she was not able to create her own treatments and classes without full access. This would be great for staff to have full control for treatments and classes for their clients. If I change her status from practitioner limited it compromises the confidentiality of other client files that do not belong to them.

Janeapp has painful bugs, but works fairly well once you learn the hard way about them, and how to work around them.
Kommentare: Generally good as long as I use Chrome, and know about the pages not refreshing bug and how to work around it.

That it generally works well and looks good, as long as you don't mind being forced to use Chrome when you don't want to, and work around the other minor-ish bug of having to refresh the page, or quit and reload the browser to have the Documents and/or the appointments pages updated.
Nachteile:
Being forced to use Chrome. How many professional apps out there actually force one to use a specific browser? Also, as above, at times having to either refresh the page or even quit and then restart the browser to have the Documents and Appointments pages updated. I was suggested to put these in "Feature requests" - but it belongs in bug fixes "requests" as it has caused me grief.

Jane…easy but needs a bit of fine tunong
Kommentare: Overall, this is a good program to use and is easy for new staff to learn.

Easy to use and learn. Have been using it and enjoy the functionality.
Nachteile:
Ability for clients to book appointments on-line is great. But, sometimes, they will book an appointment with multiple providers and then attend only 1 of the appointments. There needs to be a pop-up or something that won’t allow someone to book the same appointment with 2 or 3 providers as this is not fair to take up multiple time slots when other clients are trying to book in as well. I realize this is an issue with only a small percent of clients, but it is an issue that has happened a few times. Would be great if there was some way to alert the client they can only book 1 appointment at a time…or ag least caution them that they are booking the same appointment with multiple providers and this is not recommended.

Jane For Efficiency and Accuracy

There is so much functionality that there was a bit of a learning curve to get to know it all, however a quick web search usually reveals the answers I need.

Jane is really easy for people booking appointments. You can choose between multiple services, times and practitioners all at once. It is really good for businesses with lots of different service providers.
Nachteile:
I find that my older family members sometimes have trouble with technology and this is no different. I have to book for them as they are too nervous to try.

The Help Desk is Awesome!
Kommentare: I have really liked using Jane, once I understood it. It makes checking people out really easy, and it allows them to add in a tip for their therapist. Cancelling, moving, and changing appointments is very easy on Jane.
Vorteile:
Whenever I have a problem, I can call the Help Desk or use the Chat feature for help.
Nachteile:
Jane has some good training videos, but they are very basic. I would love to see more in-depth videos. If you are in charge of training employees in Jane, don’t just have them watch the videos and assume they are ready to go. The Jane Demo Clinic is a great way for new employees to practice.
