Great Software to Streamline your Accounts Payable Process

Kommentare: I find Lightyear easy to use and I have only had positive feedback from clients.

Vorteile:

I love the automation of data extraction and the built in approval process Lightyear has to offer. It helps me to get my clients data correct, having the correct expenses and payables, and it means I can get multiple levels of approvals before the invoice hits the GL.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the OCR doesn't work the way I expect, but I know they are constantly improving the software and I'm confident it will be better in future.

Extremley Powerfull and Efficient Accounts Payable System

Kommentare: The experience with Lightyear to date has been exceptional. From initial engagement, implementation, and ongoing support has been flawless. Guidance and support from [SENSITIVE CONTENT] at Lightyear have been brilliant and I look forward to continuing working with Lightyear and the team on implementing other workstreams coming up (i.e., P/O Processing).

Vorteile:

- Invoice Processing: Significant amount of time saved for me to focus on other aspects of the business, with confidence, knowing that I have accurately captured and processed all invoices.- Security: bank fraud detection is a very powerful feature of the lightyear system as well as its ability to flag duplicate invoices.- Support: the Lightyear team are incredible. From implementation to processing/mapping support, Lightyear are unreal.

Nachteile:

N/A: We have currently used Lightyear for < 6 months but have explored a significant amount of its functionality and capability, which has been an incredibly positive experience for myself and the business.

AP via LY and integration to MYOB

Vorteile:

Mapping allows automated billing preparation which saves time. Duplicates are traceable in high volume bill runs. Processing times are reduced and less paperwork.

Nachteile:

Can be a slow connection on the odd occasion.

Game changer

Kommentare: Fantastic, over the couple of years I have been using the program I have had nothing less than outstanding service from the support team and after initially only using it for my larger clients, it has been an easy decision to bring all my clients across to the platform. The program is intuitive to use and easy to implement and scale up or down depending on the client and approvals process needed.

Vorteile:

The invoice approval function was the reason for initially coming across to Lightyear but the statement reconciliation process was a hidden surprise that has enabled my last remaining paper based clients to take the leap to being completely paperless. The integrity of the data being exported to the accounting software is much better than other programs.

Nachteile:

My clients who use purchase orders are currently needing to batch together the PO pdf & supplier invoice images before sending to Lightyear which would be amazing if we could either match them up within the app, or issue PO's direct from the app which are then able to be viewed with the supplier invoice.

Lightyear has made my working life much easier

Kommentare: Dealing with Lightyear and their staff is an amazing experience. The programs works well and the support staff are fantastic

Vorteile:

Lightyear simplifies data entry of our invoices by saving us a massive amount of time and paper

Nachteile:

When we export invoices into a csv file to upload into our accounting package, some of the invoices in the csv file do not match the value of the invoice in Lightyear. It's usually only a few cents but I need to cross check every invoice each time I export all csv files against Lightyear.

Best software

Kommentare: Exceptional, the best software that I have worked with over the years.

Vorteile:

The implementation of the system was easy with excellent support from the team. It is very user friendly, all approvers have started using it without additional training as it is so straightforward. Processing invoices with Lightyear is super easy and using the system finally allowed us to go totally paperless.

Nachteile:

There is no downside of the system, I cannot mention anything negative about it.

Lightyear Service Support

Kommentare: Fairly easy to use, quite easy to navigate they system and pull of reports. If I need extra I have the wonderful support team to help, which so far the questions I've asked they have been able to fulfil my needs

Vorteile:

It's ease of use and flexibility in being able to move approvals

Nachteile:

In Dashboard, looking at the user list, it would be great if you could click on the user name and get a list of their approvals

Lightyear Review

Vorteile:

Amazing support by our excellent man [sensitive content hidden]. Allows me to communicate to the staff members and more importantly to the suppliers. It also integrates very well with our POS and most importantly within my role is how it eliminates the data entry and sign them off straight to Xero.

Lightyear is Great

Vorteile:

Lightyear allows for excellent reporting and intelligence

Nachteile:

The delay in mapping new suppliers, although there is an option to speedily approve.

Accounts Payable Perfection

Kommentare: Extremely happy.

Vorteile:

Lightyear allows us to easily manage the accounts payable process across our entire client base. It's unqiue mapping extraction process as well as logical flow of information, clean user interface, filing cabinet, approval process, inventory and duplicate recognition make it in my opinion the best accounts payable solution on the market. There support team is second to none.

Nachteile:

Integrations with more POS programs or even job management programs would only increase Lightyears potential.

Game Changer

Kommentare: Simplifying the approval process

Vorteile:

Having data extraction & approval within one system is a game changer for us. The approval process is simple to use once you spend the time to set it up. The Keyword feature works really well when working with multiple locations. The mobile phone app is easy to use and easy to switch between companies.

Nachteile:

No ability on the mobile app to add a note to the receipt/invoice and no feature for multiple page or long receipts / invoices.

Could not operate the Hotel venues without Lightyear

Vorteile:

From Invoice mapping to statement reconciliation, it remains the best system I have used. Missing invoices are easily located by the auto -mailing system to Suppliers.

Nachteile:

Any problems that I have encountered have been handled by the Support team (or just the chat service ) so I do not have any issues.

Good bye filing

Vorteile:

Great product, easy to use, good value for money, amazing customer service who have come up with a solution to any issue we had. No more filing!

Nachteile:

There is nothing I have come across yet I don't like about Lightyear.

Kommentare: My overall experience has been favourable. The initial scoping of our requirements to implementation and set up was a very smooth process. The system is easy to use with a very good help and support on hand if required.

Vorteile:

The functionality allows automatic capture and coding of purchase invoices. This enables invoice processing and approval to be made in an efficient and effective way without the need to key in the invoice details.

Nachteile:

It would be good to have some service or item codes under service bills which we could use to cover withholding tax

Great software, saves us massive amounts of time for a low cost!

Kommentare: Everything has been so simple and straight forward. From initial discussion, to set-up and going live the support has been incredible and really made the difference. A couple of weeks into going live with the system, and it works exactly as promised and is saving us huge amounts of time!

Vorteile:

Very easy to use. The automatic reading and processing of invoices works almost flawlessly, unlike others I have used. Make the authorisation process so simple and streamlined. Their support, especially initial set up, is incredible. I honestly couldn't sign their praised enough!

Nachteile:

One thing we wish it could do is have the option of having the approval workflow work based off of the nominal code, as opposed to working at a supplier level. But even that isn't really a con, just a wish!

A really good accounts payable software.

Kommentare: I really like how user friendly this software is. It helps me be more productive and I understand it enough now that I can easily introduce interns to it. Being able to integrate with different accounting software is a bonus and a real time saver. I also really enjoy going paperless so my work is accurate and there are no lost documents. I would like for Lightyear to work on the lag when integrating but other than that I would definitely recommend this software.

Vorteile:

I like how user friendly this software is and if I am ever stuck then support is always available. I have been able to save a lot of time and train a few interns with Lightyear. Being able to access old invoices in the online archive is great too. The statement reconciliation process has finally allowed me to go completely paperless which makes my work more accurate.

Nachteile:

At times syncing with Netsuite lags so it takes a bit longer to sync.

Lightyear is fantastic

Kommentare: Since purchasing lightyear it's made a huge difference to our business. It's hugely free'd up my time as the invoice processing is automatic now and all I have to do is check the coding for new products and then import them into our accounting system. It's made each head of department responsible for their own invoices and the processing of them which is great. It's stream lined our accounting processing as it's compatible software system MYOB plus our POS system Bepoz for beverage inventory and stock takes so we don't have to double enter invoices anymore into 2 different systems. It's free'd up my office from paper and files. I highly reccomend it to any business, it's fantastic.

Vorteile:

Lightyear makes invoice processing and filing efficient and time effective. I have now set up departments within the parent comapany so we can split our food cost per department easily. It integrates with our POS system Bepoz, which our Beverage Manager is extremly happy with. It makes his stocktakes more efficient and takes him less time and also integrates with our accountimg system MYOB which is extremely efficient.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the export to MYOB lags and I have to do it numerous times before they actually move across. I can live with that!

Time Saver

Kommentare: Using Lightyear eliminates the overhead of a staff member and risk of manual data entry errors. Saves time and money for the business

Vorteile:

- Ease of access for different managers to approve their own departments invoices - ability to bring up old invoices as a click of a button - quick turn around from customer service team - Data interpretation to avoid data entry errors - Access 24/7 anywhere in the world

Nachteile:

Phone app does not have all the same capabilities as the website, waiting for further updates.

Lightyear

Kommentare: It's saved a lot of time for my business and it works for all of my clients. I have some interstate clients and it's a speedy way to agree and make payments on daily invoices coming through for approval etc. We can all view the same invoice at the same time if there is an issue and easily resolve then and there.

Vorteile:

I love that all my actions can be taken out in one place - it's stores/archives all information received and is easily searched upon.

Nachteile:

I would like to see an option to archive 'Service Reports' - it's not always just invoices and statements that come through but often a 'supporting' document that I don't like to delete.

Systemisation

Kommentare: time consuming input, inaccuracies in reconciling invoices to statements, avoided double payments, accountability for authorization with clear with a good audit trail

Vorteile:

It took all manual inputting invoices and reconciliation to statements away saving huge amount of time, was 100% accurate taking away human error, provided great audit trail and reporting, clear lines of authorisation of invoces.

Nachteile:

There were no obvious cons that we could see

Lightyear Feedback

Kommentare: Wonderful team and great people always extent their support in need. This took made life more easy and faster, keep track of all the transactions and less maintenance. Cost effective and over all this is great tool that helping organisation to minimize cost with less effort and good record keeping tracker and processing.

Vorteile:

User friendly and easy use and no effort required to understand every thing is self explanatory.

Nachteile:

No such other tool available in the market that is near close to the lightyear performance.

Growth Enabler

Kommentare: Using this program has centralised our accounts payable system. its has allowed us to mazimise growth through the use of a time saving effieciently tool and also offering features that other do not eg approvals, statement mapping, line item, price matching etc
