It is a good software

Kommentare: We have been using Focus from maybe over 10 years. It is on very stable platform. Don't remember we ever had any data loss.

Vorteile:

Customised report, after sales service and training the staff.

Nachteile:

Not commonly used by CAs. New accountant needs training.

CMAT Review

Vorteile:

Its customization configuration, report design tool and Cloud based with SAAS.

Nachteile:

Slow performance in cloud based application. It shows "Not secured" in address bar as its server has not SSL certificate.

Focus 9

Kommentare: Unfortunately we purchased software for construction industry business while this software is not of such type. It can be good for other types of business but not construction as this business is to be dealt in different way. Managing sub-contractor's contracts, progress PPC's, Invoicing and credit notes and getting project wise reports are the areas which are very poor with Focus.

Vorteile:

Customization is one of the great thing i like the most. We can create customize what ever requirement comes across. So many inbuilt functions are there we can manipulate to create screens and reports. Ease of use is another good feature. It's quite easy to train staff to get into it.

Nachteile:

Bugs... System is full of bugs. One thing working fine will not work another time and leads to wrong postings even. Updates are not being followed up and pushed by maintenance team. We are using patch which is 8 months older and afraid to upgrade to newest version because we may loose certain features. Fixed Assets module is not taken care at all by Focus team. Followed up lot of time but unfortunately even basic features are not fixed. Support from focus is very poor. The people doesn't have full knowledge of the product and are not trained to take up queries from client. Each time they have to refer to development team which is another story.

Kommentare: Overall, I had a positive experience with Focus X by Focus SoftNet. It helped me to streamline my business operations and improve efficiency across multiple departments.

Vorteile:

I really appreciated the user-friendly interface and the ability to customize the software to fit my specific business needs. The various modules for accounting, inventory management, and sales were all well-designed and easy to use. Additionally, the customer support team was very helpful and responsive whenever I had questions or issues.

Nachteile:

One thing I found challenging was the initial setup process, as there were many options to choose from and it took some time to configure everything correctly. Additionally, while the software was generally very reliable, there were a few instances where it crashed unexpectedly, causing some inconvenience.

Need improvement in manufacturing and budgeting

Kommentare: Good and Detailed software. comparing to other software detailed reporting is good but summarized reporting is required.

Vorteile:

detailed software with complete audit trial. very good sales report and outstanding Receivables and payable reports.

Nachteile:

budgeting and Financial profit and Loss Account. and in inventory Need lot of Improvement specially in Manufacturing by adding the cost and deprecation of machinery to that particular batch.

Focus 8 itself is alright but execution and customer support failed

Kommentare: Customer support is worst i.e. when we highlight our issues and problems they are not able to solve and also did not follow up.
Software itself is not stable, too many bugs.
Those basic report such as P&L, B/S and GST report are not well set up and difficult to use.

Vorteile:

User friendly, flexible, allow customization, a lot of features

Nachteile:

Implementation took way too long and not professional. What promised could be deliver in the initial presentation was not able to deliver during implementation and did not fully customize to fit into the business. Too many bugs i.e. those report and function used to be alright then suddenly it does not work. There are a lot of issues & bugs that the support team cannot solve and they did not follow up at all.

Kommentare: Just average. Usable

Vorteile:

It almost have all the automated features like SAP

Nachteile:

Many complications/errors arises from time to time, print lay-out need to design or enter the field one by one, not that flexible configuration, problem solving is slow and not available in google compare to SAP and other software.

ERP for Automotive Spare Parts Management

Kommentare: I am using Focus 9 to manage my automotive spare parts business, it helped me scale my operations in the last 2 years. I am quite satisfied and highly recommend the software.

Vorteile:

The ease of use and the way the software was built around my business us case.

Nachteile:

Reporting could have been little more dynamic by including pivot tables

Kommentare: It has option to develop crystal reports, unlimited masters available that helps in reporting and decision making.

Vorteile:

Options are good, little flexible, crystal report can be developed, interface okay.

User Friendly, Unlimited masters that helps in categorizing the transactions.

It is very easy to use and reporting is very easy from this software

I think automatic transactions based in schedules can be included in this software to make it an excellent ERP software for accounting.

Good Software for the price & Excellent Support

Kommentare: The overall experience is just fine since there is a balance between price and product.

Vorteile:

The best part of the product is the support and price. The implementation team and AVP is excellent and always available on call irrespective of time and day. The price is extremely competitive.

Nachteile:

The weakest link in the software is the development team. The software does have a lot of loop holes and needs a lot of polishing and tweaking. the user interface also needs upliftment.

My Feedback about Focus

Kommentare: It is really an Excellent software, flexible with all kinds of requirements. Overall saying, We are happy with this product.

Nachteile:

* In web version, menus are placed in the side its better if it's placed on the top. * Color patterns are dull

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

Vorteile:

Its easy to use with good User Interface, the reports are a major time saving. The software works smooth.

Nachteile:

The customer service is pathetic, You have to call the customer service many times for one issue and they don't respond early. The worst service. Apart from that the software is perfectly fine.

Kommentare: OVERALL GOOD, BUT YOU HAVE TO REVIEW YOURSELF THE CHANGES MADE ARE REFLECTED IN EACH AND EVERY REPORT AND OTHER LINKED DOCUMENTS ELSE YOUR REVISION OR CHANGES TO VOUCHER / DOCUMENTS WILL PUT YOU IN PROBLEM AS WRONG DATA WILL BE THE RESULT OF MINOR MISTAKES IN FORMULA .

ALL MODULES AVAILABLE , SALES PURCHASE, DELIVERY NOTES, MRN, INVOICING, PAYMENT

Nachteile:

NEED TO CUSTOMIZE AND STUDY THE END USER REQUIREMENTS MINUTELY NOT READY TO USE NEEDS TO FIT AS PER COMPANY REQUIREMENTS AND THIS LEADS TO ERRORS IN FORMULA EXECUTED BY IMPLEMENTATION TEAM.

Bad Customer Support

Simple software easy customization administration easy datbase linking is easy backup is easy client systems connection is easy

Very bad behavior from technical support team, no solution they can provide All technical support members are rude charecters nobody no how to treat a customer who pays us

Focus ERP is great software for trading and construction industry.

Vorteile:

I like most inventry control , financial reporting payroll record and job costing feature of Focus ERP.

Nachteile:

Price is little bit highy and traning are not provided properly at the time of installation which ia little bit draw back of the focus
