Love it!

Kommentare: I enjoyed exploring but I didn't have enough time to fully use the software's full potential. I would love to return and get a paid plan one day and see what this has to really offer.

Vorteile:

The ease of use. Having everything in one tool for content and SEO, publishing, connecting to social media, etc. If you have a content marketing strategy then this is a great tool to have. The UI was easy to understand

Nachteile:

Of course, it would have to be pricing and only a 7-day trial. I wish I had more time or more money to spare. The UI was basic which can also be a downfall but still easy to use. Could use a more mobile-friendly version.

Storycheif is great and alway improving

Vorteile:

- Connects to our Webflow CMS - Better social media scheduling suite (hubspot seemed to have bugs) - Approval process is an added bonus - Great support - Always improving the tool

Nachteile:

Sometimes there are weird connections to webflow (but I assume most isn's due to the Storychief team)

Complete social media tool

Kommentare: Storychief is an usefull tool to manage your social media calender.
For newbies like me it is a task to get to know the tool but the people of Storychief make sure you are up to date. I think this is a very complete social media tool. A powerfull + is the way how you can collaborate, ask for approval or edit your posts.

Vorteile:

I think what I do like the most is how easy it is to invite people that do not have complete acces to storychief, to review your article. They can easily comment and I think that is great.

Nachteile:

Because the tool is soo versatile, you tend to forget how you can use many functions combined.

Great partner to your Webflow website

Vorteile:

I like that it focused on its main value proposition, once I've set it up for our company website, I no longer need to manage our Webflow-based blog. Our content writing team can do everything on their own. UI is clear and it has wide customization options.

Nachteile:

Nothing I can think of right now. Integration with Webflow requires some technical knowledge, but that's expected. The important part is once you complete the setup process — you can forget about it.

Saves me hours every week

Vorteile:

Love how fast and focused I am when I use StoryChief. This is due to the design (no distractions) and speed (eg minimal image upload time) of the software.

Nachteile:

The onboarding lacked a little bit of depth when I joined back in 2018. I ended up with duplicate content on my website and the StoryChief blog but the team were great and solved the issue rapidly.

International Team Friendly

Vorteile:

The ability for several people to access drafts is a HUGE plus. Being able to comment for corrections and suggestions is great. Being able to post to several platforms at once is also a time saver. Lastly, my team can do social posts from StoryChief which is a HUGE time saver for us.

Nachteile:

If you don't have a project leader or team member who is good at process flows to set this up, it may not be a good tool for you. It's very powerful with the right person on your team. Video isn't yet available for social media posts! But it's coming soon :)

Easy peasy software for content marketing and socila posting

Vorteile:

It love to working with storychief since I found it. The writing is easy, SEO checking is great, social posting functionality speeds everything up too. It saves time! And the support team is really helpful, fast and very friendly - no matter what.

Nachteile:

I want to fit in the stories also pictures for easy Pinterest repinning. But there is no formatation - so it looks strange at my blog.... and still did not finde to setup a good looking lead-capture from mailchimp. But I hopfully will...

Very happy with StoryChief

Kommentare: StoryChief has helped us overcome extensive review times with clients. The visual nature of the tool has meant that a client can now "see" what we're trying to achieve with a written piece of content. It's also helped us to think about our content holistically, not only publishing a piece, but how we plan to distribute it.

Vorteile:

The way StoryChief is essentially built/designed in a way that makes sure you're thinking about your content holistically from how its structured (I love all the embed features in the story editor) to the way you have to publish your content. Your distribution channels are right in the tool, making sure you always think about the best way to distribute your content.

Nachteile:

Like most tools, you can schedule a post on social media until it's published, making planning ahead a little tougher.

Transformed the way we manage our blog

StoryChief is super easy to use, straight forward, and makes the entire process of writing blog posts really enjoyable.

Nothing is really missing for us. This tool has it all.

Fantastic Blog Syndicating Tool

Kommentare: If you log then this is a must have tool. Saves you lots of time sharing your content and also gives you valuable analytics.

Vorteile:

Allows you to create a blog post using their editior and can then syndicate your content across multiple marketing channels. Most syndication apps only let you send the post to your social media accounts, Story Chief allows you to also send to your Wordpress blog for publishing, email notifications to lists of influences you add, send to Medium, social media, and RSS feeds. They also have a cool analytics dashboard to see how people are interacting with your content across the web. I only publish blog posts via Story Chief now. If you are concerned about duplicate content, you can have it post to your blog first and then set the rest of the syndication for any date you wish.

Nachteile:

By default, it selects it's own blog platform as the default main platform for the content, I have to swicth to my Wordpress blog each time to make sure my blog is the main platform. They should fix this but as of today have not.

A solid multi-channel marketing platform

Vorteile:

I see StoryChief as a sort of Swiss Army knife because there's a lot that it brings to the table and different ways of using the platform. Want a way to easily create and redistribute your content across multiple platforms with just a few clicks? Check. Are you in need of a calendar to get an overview of your social media posts? Check. Working with a team and are looking for a way to co-create and collaborate on the content side of things? Check. Need analytics or getting members of your team involved in amplifying the reach of your message? Check, and check. And StoryChief focuses on content optimization too, thanks to its SEO copywriting recommendations – so that you know what to tweak to increase the chances of your content ranking high on Google.

Nachteile:

I have to admit that I'm the first to love a tool that enables you to do many different things so that you don't need to keep switching platforms and tabs. However, some of StoryChief's features such as the SEO copywriting and content distribution aren't as solid as on other platforms. This may not mean that much if you're kind of looking for a "Jack-of-all-trades" type of platform but it might raise a few questions if you'd be interested in something that really dives deep into all the areas it focuses on.

Easy to use and helpful

Kommentare: Storychief has enabled me to formulate, store, plan and post stories and social media posts within one system. It helps me compose concise, optimised articles and automatically receive reports on how our university content is received across our social media channels.

Vorteile:

Content planning, ease of use, help with story formation and SEO optimisation.

Nachteile:

Difficulty posting to Instagram, need to use extension browser which doesn't always work.

Unique blog and SEO marketing tool we can't live without

Vorteile:

Flint Hills Group custom software depends on weekly technical blog articles to educate our customers and potential customers. We use StoryChief to author these articles, review and approve them, and then push them to our social media and to our website https://flinthillsgroup.com/blog/ We depend on this tool and love it.

Nachteile:

Not much to not like about StoryChief. We searched for other solutions and really found none we liked or could work for us.

Great platform for all things content.

Vorteile:

I'm working for Spencer mostly. I recommended it there. Easy to integrate (HubSpot). User-friendly. Publishing is a charm. And the fact that you're working very hard to improve it all the time.

Nachteile:

Content calendar = unwieldy. No drag and drop (If plans change, which they do, I want to be able to simply drag a post to a different place.) No list view (unless I missed it) to show the calendar in an easy-to-follow format to other people.

A Must Have For Content Creators Who Want To Easily Syndicate Their Content

Kommentare: Very positive. Saves me a bunch of time promoting my blog posts and creates a single platform where I can check out the view stats across multiple platforms to see who is reading my content.

Vorteile:

I can syndicate my content across multiple networks, send emails to specific people and view usage data all in a single platform. Whenever I publish a new blog post on StoryChief, it automatically triggers a chain reaction that syndicated my content to dozens of places that I setup beforehand. This not only syndicates to social media, but other blogging platforms, rss feeds and email campaigns.

Nachteile:

The default blogging platform is set to their own blog platform, I have to manually change it to Wordpress every time, they should fix this.

A must-have for content creators

Kommentare: Storychief is one of my favorite softwares that I use as a content creator. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to write content at scale.

Vorteile:

I use storychief to optimize and distribute my blog posts with ease. I love the keyword optimization tools and the ability to add writers to your article. The automated distribution allows me to promote my blogs to multiple channels instantly.

Nachteile:

I wish it had more integrations with other content management systems. However, it is still a very useful tool for content creators and business owners.

Solid content marketing & planning tool

Vorteile:

Story Chief has quick become one of my favorite content planning tools. If you are producing and marketing articles on regularly basis then you need to check it out. Theres lots to love, but a few features that stick out to me are: - Its SEO guidance tool - quick get guidance on how SEO friendly your writing/article is. - The ability to launch articles to multiple channels at once without worth about duplicate content issues. - Their content calendar is very clear and easy to use. - The ability to have an approval workflow when working with a team. I’m also really excited about the upcoming social media planning tools. I ope that they will be included in the existing plans they are offering without an additional fee.

Nachteile:

Right now the platform is lacking a task process checklist. I would love to have a systemized process checklist that my content creators would have to check off while building an article. I only know of one of their competitors that offers this feature, but I feel like its an important item to have when working with a team.

Excellent blog posting and collaboration tool

Vorteile:

I have found StoryChief to be extremely helpful in getting my team to write blog posts. The interface is very clean and user friendly. There is a simple plug in for Wordpress and I am able to send invitations to all my team members and they do all the writing in story chief. I can edit and approve before the post is published. They never need another password to word press itself and it can also publish to many other platforms, including Medium.

Nachteile:

I wish the featured image was not a requirement of Wordpress and that it would address this more effectively, but I think it is a requirement of Wordpress and not storychief.

Save Time, Increase Productivity

Vorteile:

StoryChief’s user interface is fantastic and easy to navigate. The writing editor is similar to Medium’s writing editor, but it has more features than Medium’s restrictive editor. The writing editor is so simple and so well done that the reporters at a news agency I’m involved with don’t want to go back to using Wordpress’s editor again. The platform has saved us a lot of time creating stories and sharing them across a variety of social media platforms, including Google Amp and Facebook Instant Articles. We’re publishing stories a lot more frequently and expanding our reach because of Story Chief.

Nachteile:

Story Chief doesn’t yet have an easy way to import categories and tags from Wordpress. This missing feature means our team has to manually check our website to see what tags and categories should be used. The photo gallery lacks a lightbox feature so it’s sometimes hard for our readers to view images on mobile devices.

Great value for creating AND maintaining a blog - make/buy? => Buy

Kommentare: We've been using storychief for hosting our blog for 6m-1y and it works flawless.

Vorteile:

Very complete, overall very good looking and bugfree:) ---------- It enables a quick setup of a blog on your own domain (blog.domain.com) and after you've written a few articles, you can even outsource the maintenance of the blog by using the matchmaking service. You can feel there is a lot of software experience involved - it runs very smooth and frictionless.

Nachteile:

I understand we can't have everything but we're using a niche CMS called wagtail - would be great if there was a connector to Wagtail too.

Overall a great service for content production and distribution

The social posts feature is easy to spread posts across multiple social media with ease. The SEO and Readability feature help me write to better cater for SEO and readability.

Nachteile:

It would be awesome if there was a feature where I can create a list of content ideas for other people in my team to view and claim to write. Kind of like a checklist.

Great and easy to use product to streamline your content posting

t has saved me a lot of time compared to manual scheduling and posting, has some good pointers for SEO, and is easy to set up.

Nachteile:

I've had a couple of issues with integrations and StoryChief occasionally disconnecting from WordPress etc but the team has been reactive and the issues were fixable quickly.

Vorteile:

It's easy to set up the account and post all my contents all over to my Social Media accounts and Wordpress Sites. And, the SEO score helps me to write the correct writings.

Nachteile:

I hope StoryChief expands more adding wordpress sites. I have so many domain names and sites. Only a few of them I can add and post my contents.

Excellent Tool for publishing

The platform is very user-friendly, and the support is excellent. It makes publishing enjoyable. For both: creator and the end user. I have never had a chance to post so many different articles on so many destinations (social platforms, WP, emails). Extremely useful in practice.

Nachteile:

It took some time to get used to all the different options you have with publishing. Now I feel like Chief of Stories :)
