Kommentare: Very good platform and customer service is always quick to reply/action

Vorteile:

Ease of adding consignments for competitive tendering without needing to send separate emails to freight forwarders. The platform works well for searching on past entries and generally tidies up the process overall - which would otherwise be done more manually

Nachteile:

Freight forwarders do not update their shipments on the platform (not Cargobase issue).

Tracking and Invoicing

Vorteile:

RFQ and copy shipment and attachments....

Nachteile:

I don't like not abling to attach a file after making an RFQ, could be a provider requested extra details of shipment, not necessarily changing RFQ weight and dimensions.

Cargo Base - SFA

Kommentare: Help us to improve the timing and financial impact for any operation.

Vorteile:

Is very intuitive and easy to understand.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the analytics section isn't some much clear.

Cargo Base in my routine

Kommentare: • Reduce the time the approvals.
• The user can check the process about request approvals and sometimes the tracking.
•I think that CB need to improve other report where the information cross about the invoice for carrier, the QR that the user selected the QR that we not book and the first cost and final cost

Vorteile:

• Is very easy to use is very friendly. • You can use for any device. • You have the support 27/7. • CB sometimes can help to do some modifications in order that your company can has the control

Nachteile:

• I think missing some work instruction on the platform. • The updates for the prices are not reflect in the final amount and this is a very important point. • The app into the cell phone does not work very well I prefer open my search engine and do my activity. the manage cost per user

USER's OPINION FOR CARGOBASE

Kommentare: Shipments are done much easier.
Tracking of shipments are much easier.
The software itself is easy to use.
Overall, I'm glad I managed to be able to use Cargobase. It saves a lot of manual work.

Vorteile:

All informations about a specific shipment are under a shipment ID (therefore in one place), which is much easier to find, instead of reading 10-20 e-mails. Also, the customer support is untouchable, with full and quickly support.

Nachteile:

I didn't like the parcel shipments segment. There are automatical quotes for a shipment and you cannot contact any person (from parcel) on Cargobase and you'd have to switch to e-mail. Also, if any of the fields are not completed correctly, you don't receive quotes and you don't know which are the incompleted fields that require a specific parcel forwarder to quote.

Kommentare: We use Cargobase mostly for tendering expedited or non planed services and we are saving time and our tracking and communication with carriers are just perfect.
I would highly recommended.

Vorteile:

Cargobase has been a perfect ally for us. We are in the middle of launch process and with all this COVID-19 situation transportation market is a complicated field but with Cargobase we can find the solutions we need in the perfect moment.

Nachteile:

There's no complications or failures in the process.

Vorteile:

Is a great software that ease our daily tasks to get expedited quotes from all around the world

Nachteile:

Computer software is great and easy to use, but there is a lot to work on the to go app, primary on being able to submit quotes

Great tool but needs to standarized

Kommentare: lately there is no much offers but users don't know current avaiability situations and wait to much to get a quoate.

Vorteile:

Easy to select options, but is very slow.

Nachteile:

timing to send approvals is awful, every time we have a good option we have to wait because of the blocking of having 4 options.

Great tool

Vorteile:

It´s easy to use, is a good tool to compare prices between different suppliers but same service.

Nachteile:

To provide to the customer the opportunity to rate the suppliers service .

Cargobase

Kommentare: Overall, I would say cargobase has been a big help in me doing my job. It allows me to clearly see the transit time and the cost of each shipment before selecting the freight forwarder.

Vorteile:

I like how it can be altered to each customers needs. I also like how it is very self explanatory, not a lot of instructions are needed.

Nachteile:

I do not like the multiple screens, I would like to just scroll down one page. I also think it is very slow, no matter what computer and what ISP I am using.

Vorteile:

What I like most from Cargobase is that I can have a consolidated rate in 1 platform. Easy to refer to old quote for some past comparison.

Nachteile:

So far I yet use the reports yet therefore counted as least like until I try it in the future.

Kommentare: Being the link between Cargobase and our plants worldwide has been an easy task, Cargobase personnel is friendly and always willing to help out with our requests and needs. Even going beyond the services we initially requested.

Vorteile:

Easy to use, friendly, good reporting and easy access to information.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately for the Americas replies are not so quick due to the time difference. But we always get one.

Kommentare: Working with them for about 1.5 year already. Implementation was simple, training to requestors was beneficial & overall users are satisfied with this solution for finding the best spot buy for their designated shipments

Vorteile:

Easy to use, to operate, for both customer's side & vendors.

Nachteile:

the fact that its more hard to control/ audit the quality of the quotes, meaning that system allows vendors to quote only partially (i.e. PTP) even if the requester asked for full DTD quote & therefore - the award can be based not all real complete figures.

In addition to the very easy to understand and use platform the support team from Cargobase is fast in responses and the quality of following up requests is outstanding.

Nachteile:

nothing what I don't like so far. Cargobase has always considered our needs and adjusted the software.
