Decent designing and marketing tool for me

Kommentare: Flipsnack is an excellent solution for quickly and easily bringing your PDFs to life. It’s easy to use, fast, and offers powerful features like shopping buttons, videos, and GIFs. However, its pricing plans may be too expensive for some users and the Design Studio feature isn’t as powerful as other solutions. As such, it may be best suited for those who need fast PDF-to-flipbook conversion and don’t require the more advanced features.

Vorteile:

Text editor bug is a huge problem

Kommentare: Awful customer service. Clearly outsourced oversees and with little knowledge of the product. No phone number available to call. Waste of time.

Very little. Basic functions work ok.

Nachteile:

For weeks I have been going in circles with customer service having to prove that the view one sees in their EDITOR mode is different from the published mode. In short, the text box formatting has a bug and you cannot access the html to correct it. I have sent them several screen shots of the two and the obvious discrepancy and I have been getting back lame answers, mainly blaming me. Today they admitted to the bug. But clearly others would have encountered an error simply caused by coping text boxes! Awful.

The perfect tool to create gorgeous, digitally dynamic magazines

Kommentare: We've had a wonderful experience with Flipsnack. The one time that we had to contact support, we were responded to quickly and the issue was researched, escalated, and resolved well. We've been using Flipsnack for many years and have no complaints.

Vorteile:

It's super easy to use and very intuitive. Style and design of the end product is chef's kiss. Additional features like the downloadable gif and link options are great.

Nachteile:

I'm happy across the board with Flipsnack. Haven't come across anything that I don't like.

Kommentare: We having been using the product for 3 years now. We have used it internally for previewing files to our team. Mostly used to share publications on our website. Great presentation of our publications. Full screen option makes publication easy to read online.

Easy to convert from multi-page pdf to publishable flip book. The software is well maintained and fully functional when updates are released. Easy to learn, easy to use.

Great for Sending Qualifications and Proposals

Kommentare: Flipsnack has provided a visually appealing way to present our firm's qualifications. Sharing it is simple. Our project executives love having the option to send a PDF as well as an interactive link to prospects outside of our four walls.

Vorteile:

I love that I can send a interactive and engaging presentation of qualifications document in an easy link. Creating the flip book is quick and easy. I like that I can keep links private so I can share it only with those I wish to access it.

Nachteile:

The ability to edit pages or add pages after publication is a little clunky. Usually I simply delete and start over if there are substantial changes to pages within each document.

Vorteile:

It allows us to produce a high-quality product. It is easy to use, and the editing abilities are key. We like the ability to embed video and useful links. Overall, we LOVE Flipsnack

Nachteile:

The process of updating an existing link can be confusing! Because you have to reupload the file and delete the old but it wasn't as intuitive until you found that out

Great way to promote our product

Kommentare: We use fewer printed brochures nowadays. Flipsnack is the right tool for us to promote our product.

Vorteile:

We offer international tournaments and this is a great way to promote these tournaments in different countries. Especially the video implementation in the magazines is a great tool to give an extra dimension to our presentation.

Nachteile:

No specific items come to mind so we are satisfied

Kommentare: Possibility of distributing publications and magazines on the Internet via a simple hyperlink. Significant reduction in distribution costs.

Vorteile:

Easy navigation in the application, a number of options allowing for a more attractive visualization of the publication

Nachteile:

It is not possible to edit the content of the publication after it has been saved in the system

Great digital magazine reader

Kommentare: Its a great tool, cost effecive and easy to use for both us the publisher and the guest

Vorteile:

We use Flipsnack to publish our magazine, menus and activies programs. It is user friendly and easy to publish and link across multiple platforms including our website, emails and business listings.

Nachteile:

I would love to be able to sort my images easier and would love to incorporate pop ups in my magazine or special offers when people click on a certain section.

Needs more improvements

Kommentare: Overall as expensive as a program is it works out for my newsletter but this will be the last year I use it.

Vorteile:

I like the different tools available to create a newsletter.

Nachteile:

I just like the way you use the name as a pertains to pages which confuses me since I’m American. there are things in the tools that can use an upgrade for a user-friendly approach.

Good product, but looking forward to future improvements

Kommentare: We have a very limited (beta, really) type of "intranet" which is not very interactive and really only allows for links to information, which with all the employee information we need to put out there, results in a lot of scrolling. Flipsnack allows me to condense all those links into a more dynamic and visually engaging product, cutting down on the clutter of our employee self-service website.

Vorteile:

It is relatively easy to use/self-teach how to use, and I find the analytics feature useful as we had no prior means to be able to gauge whether or not the information being published was being accessed or read. With the analytics feature, I'm able to home in on what topics need to be better promoted to our employees.

Nachteile:

I would like to be able to have more customization ability, such as the ability to size an embedded flipbook (most books are embedded on our intranet and they appear much too small or with too much padding, despite attempts to resize the book in the HTML coding). I'd also like to be able to have the title of the bookshelves appear directly over (or on) the shelf itself so that the shelves could be better organized and easier for readers to understand what topics are on the shelf.

An expensive but functional helper

Kommentare: Making our designs more creative was possible with flipsnack. Now we are able to work modern and minimalist that customers like.

Vorteile:

We used it in editing our catalog designs and testing out new content. We can recreate each content with a beautiful template, but we don't have many options, it's limited.

Nachteile:

Flipsnack is a really nice utility, but very expensive. When you want to export the content you have created, it only allows up to 4 pages in free use. Other than that it's really expensive.

Streamlining my Marketing & Sales

Really Enjoy The Flipbooks Feature!

The digital catalog feature has been great for flyers and trade shows where we have attendees scan our unique QR code that leads to the digital catalog pulling up directly on their phone!

Nachteile:

Missing features depending on the package, more editing options instead of having to use Canva as well.

Flipsnack for Monthly and Quarterly Magazines

Vorteile:

Flipsnack is very user friendly. Even though we build our templates off of the website initially, I was able to see how easy it would be to start from scratch on the Flipsnack website if someone were to do to that. There are a lot of features that can also make the publication interactive, which is always a plus, especially since it is a digital publication. Editing and publishing is also a breeze, which is a huge win in my books.

Nachteile:

This was a very high level, probably back end con for us, but we were not able to customize the shelf the way we wanted to when tried to implement it on our own website. No fault to anyone, this was probably a specific case for Flipsnack so I can see not being able to customize the shelf on the back end. We ended up creating our own shelf on our website and embedding each catalog individually. This was fine since we switch it out every few months anyways.

Kommentare: It is very good indeed. I have been using the product for the Six-Year Kugel High School for several years. The school management is quite happy with what I have created because it gives us the possibility of documenting lots of school activities in a way that neither Facebook nor the school site does. I have also used Flipsnack to document other learning activities. Flipsnack allows me to share them easily and have the contents organized the way I want to.

Vorteile:

I like the different options for creating Digital books/ Brochures , etc. I find the new Flipsnach very easy and convenient to use when I create Digital Books in BOTH Hebrew and English. The same happened when I created Digital Books in Spanish with the old version a couple of years ago, too.

Nachteile:

The uploading text feature for Hebrew needs improving. Since Hebrew is written right to left, I have to use the function that moves the text to the right so that sentences begin on the right part of a page. The problem, however, is that punctuation marks still appear as if the writing was done in English / Spanish, etc. (Latin Characters). Sentences that en in mid-line appear as if they were written from right to left. Appropriate fonts for Hebrew might be added, too. I guess the same applies for Arabic writing.

Looking For More

I love the start of this software. I think it is easy to use, get catalogues uploaded, love the embedding feature and the ease of access. White label listing really sold this for us, that was a very important aspect although the cost is incredibly high and it may impact how long we have the software. There are competitors that are growing and offering similar features for less. Although we really do love flipsnack

Nachteile:

The white labeling disappears in mobile viewing and the flipsnack name comes back (this is our number one con as we pay a lot of money for the white label and most of our views are mobile based.... so its a little sad that the white label doesnt continue into mobile viewing). We would love there to be MORE, interactivity with the catalogues, allowing readers to click more and do more inside the catalogue. The interactivity is cool right now, but still very small in what you can actually accomplish. Also the flashing target buttons are not the best option, if you could make a product tag that is invisible that could be wrapped around a product, that would be ideal. The flashing targets (from a marketing perspective) can ruin an entire look and feel of a layout. If you made invisible areas we could direct readers to click on products. We would also love if flipsnack would create an area (white labeled) where our readers and customers could login and make changes themselves to the catalogues, add their logo, etc without our help

Flipsnack is a great online tool to improve your digital footprint

Vorteile:

Flipsnack is a fairly simple to deploy software that allows for a more professional means of publication, presentation and online catalogues. The online application is quite decently priced if you purchase a yearly subscription and for those that only need the basic elements there is also a neat free version for the above mentioned uses. We loved the ease of use and the great customer service on the platform as well as how easy and secure the payment portal was.

Nachteile:

If you are a subscribed member of Flipsnack you will know that there are quite a few unlisted features in the comparisons table before purchase. This unfortunately can be a little misleading and make your decision after payment feel a little "cheeky"... *Hint - just go for the enterprise package if you want access to all the features of the platform such as a personalised favicon and subdomain URL. MP4 files cannot be uploaded to any Flipsnack document unless you are a enterprise member however you can run it videos through YouTube instead, so perhaps start a YouTube channel if you want to use video in you presentations / catalogues. The software can be a little buggy at times and does require a little bit of time and resource to iron out the kinks.
