Hände weg - Doppelte Kosten

Vorteile:

Gutes System mit sehr guter Software. Leichte Bedienung und Einrichtung.

Nachteile:

Die kostenlose Abo-Option der Software wurde abgeschafft. Jetzt kauft man den Cube und muss auch noch für damit verbunden Software im Abo zahlen. Selbst für die simple Zeiterfassung sind es doppelte Kosten. Bestandskunden werden damit einfach nur im Stich gelassen. Hände weg und anderes Produkt wählen.

Flexible Zeiterfassung leicht gemacht

Kommentare: Für mich ist Timeular die perfekte Lösung zur Zeiterfassung, die meinen Bedarfen komplett entspricht und sich nahtlos in meinen Arbeitsalltag integriert. Besser lässt sich eine Zeiterfassung für mich nicht gestalten.

Vorteile:

Ich nutze Timeular seit mehreren Jahren und bin jeden Tag begeistert, wie leicht die Zeiterfassung in meinen Workflow passt. Da ich für unterschiedliche Auftraggeber tätig bin, kann ich die einzelnen Projekte unkompliziert erfassen, monatlich auswerten und Ziele festlegen, um Projektzeiten nicht zu überschreiten.Die Auswertungen eignen sich auch gut als Zeitnachweis als Anlage zu meinen Rechnungen.

Nachteile:

Ab und zu springen die Projekte bei manueller Zeiterfassung auf einer vorher gewähltes Projekt um. Das muss man ein bisschen im Blick behalten.

Nachteile:

Der 8seitige Tracker reicht bei meiner Tätigkeit nicht. Im Rechner ok, Wechsel wird aber schneller vergessen.

Sehr hilfreiches Tool

Tolles Tool mit unseriöser Preisadministration

Vorteile:

Super tolles und einfaches Tool für die Zeiterfassung.

Nachteile:

Es gab kürzlich eine Änderung in der Preispolitik, kurz nachdem ich das Produkt gekauft habe. Eine kostenlose Basisversion gibt es keine mehr, das finde ich persönlich sehr gut. Es soll ja Geld fliessen, das ist völlig in Ordnung. Nach dem Kauf erhielt ich ein eMail, dass der Basis-Dienst immer noch kostenlos ist für die Käufer, die VOR der Änderung des Preismodells das Produkt kauften. In meinem Account steht jedoch, dass der Dienst CHF 5/Monat kostet. Der Support konnte bisher nicht weiter helfen. Bin mal gespannt, ob ich eine Rechnung bekomme.

Timeular- a hidden gem

Vorteile:

Easy to use. Customizable. Gives the user great insight into how they are using their time.

Nachteile:

Recent price increases and the need to register multiple users from one org as a team.

Convinient time tracking for entrepreneurs

Kommentare: Can see what I really use my time for, can set work time goals and can get useful data easily. Easy to use and fun to personalize and customize my tracker. Tracker battery lasts very long! Only need to charge a couple times every year even though I use it pretty much every day. The only negative I have so far is sometimes the tracker will stop tracking while a task is still in progress (my guess it's a bluetooth connection problem?)

Vorteile:

Easy to use, provides useful information and overall useful software. Customization of the tracker is a nice bonus!

Nachteile:

Wish it had more features such as setting different types of goals for different time periods (per week, per month, per year etc). Could have an integrated to-do-list type of feature, as well as a useful widget for the mobile app version.

Very expensive

Vorteile:

Easy to use and very useful when exporting data for customers

Nachteile:

The new prices are really high, I think I will switch to another application.

A gamechanger for anyone who works on billable hours!

Kommentare: Timeular does what it promises, and it does it so extremely well: Save your time! I used it daily, and it has taken away worries about tracking my billable hours as well as non-billables for efficiency control. Here, the word "mighty tool" is really the best way to describe the software. And the speed of Timeular when it comes to implementing innovations and customer suggestions is amazing!

Vorteile:

Once you set up your tracker's sides, just flip it, fill in a tag or two, and at the end of the day your timesheet is ready! So much better than compiling Excel sheets or even writing down hours with a pen. In addition, the exact timing in addition with the rounding feature saves so much time when preparing the invoices for your clients - I can no longer imagine a professional life without Timeular!

Nachteile:

When you have a slow internet connection, the user may be quicker than Timeular when it comes to opening entires for editing purposes, and the user may end up creating new entries on other days. This can be easily corrected, so this is a mere nuisance. In addition, I would love to be able to combine tags with hourly rates to include these in the time sheets for each client.

PLEASE add the ability to reorganize activities!

Vorteile:

It's pretty easy to use. I get a good visual sense of how I've spent my day and in what parts of the day. I like using Command+E on the Mac to quickly add a new entry. That makes tracking things very fast. The insights tab is also great at being able to break everything down by spaces, tags, activities, etc.

Nachteile:

Yes! I've been saying this since the day I signed up for Timeular: please add the ability to re-organize activities between spaces! It seems a bit ridiculous that you can rename Spaces, Activities, and Tags, but you can't move activities between spaces. The way I initially set up my Timeular workflow (with some activities in certain spaces and not others) was quite random as I was still playing around with the software. I now have a better idea of how I'd like to organize my workflow, and which activities should go within their respective spaces, but I can't change anything! It's as if I'm being punished as the user for not completely understanding off the bat, how to set up my Timeular workspaces and their activities. This seems like a no brainer request and I'm a bit shocked it still hasn't been implemented yet. Keeping data siloed seems like a bad business approach to a piece of software that otherwise is very customizable and functional. PLEASE make this change! Thank you.

Great Tool I Recommend to Anyone

Kommentare: I got timeular as a way to track my working patterns, consciously switch between tasks better, and to help my time reporting for the client work I was involved with at the time. Our client required us to estimate our work for the upcoming sprint in hours, then only record our time against those subtasks that had the hour estimates on them.As you can imagine, this was a horrible system. It was hard to keep track of, even by lunch, all the things I had bounced between and spent time on helping to fix. Heavens forbid you might forget to record your time against these hour estimates for a day or two, good luck remembering everything you worked on.With Timeular I just had to look at the insights at the end of the week. Broke it down by day to record my time on their application, and I could provide exact amounts of time for each fifteen minute block. The client still ended up getting some free time so we could get some features out the door, but I was able to stand firmly and say no when I knew I had already put in a bunch of extra hours in a week and they needed to just wait.

Vorteile:

This cube and its associated software have helped me focus my efforts to work on specific tasks, and to set healthy boundaries with my client so that I was no longer working so many unpaid hours. I was able to have this data in my back pocket so I knew exactly how long I had worked on each task. If they wanted to track us by fifteen minute intervals, I was going to have data for the minute by minute of every day. I was able to set much healthier boundaries in my work/life balance and limit the number of hours the client was getting for free. Just the act of turning the Timeular cube to correspond with the task I want to now start focusing on is a mental trigger for my brain to switch into that task's headspace. It has helped me be more intentional about what I am working on and how much time I devote to each type of task for my day. The analytics / increased reporting is definitely worth it just to learn more about your own working patterns.

Nachteile:

The only possible con I could see for this product and software is for a company to require its developers to provide them with all of the data they generate in a day. I mean, on one hand that could be seen as fair. If you're going to have people record their hours in a timesheet, might as well have an immediately digestible dynamic timesheet. But idk, I like being fully transparent with myself about how I spend my time and when. It's not like my company doesn't always come out on top in these situations, but do they need to know every time I spend 23 minutes in the bathroom? (random example that would NEVER happen surely...)

Desktop friendly, but iOS version needs work

Easiest to use for minimum effort, good UX

Kommentare: I think this app is fantastic. I think it is now a bit overpriced but to an extent you get what you pay for. I haven’t found anything else nearly as easy to use.

Vorteile:

I like the physical Bluetooth tracker, and the tracking state syncs almost instantly between devices

Nachteile:

The Bluetooth tracker connection is flaky. Also, increased subscription cost recently with no extra features that I use.

Unveils time

Kommentare: Timeular is a great help to log time and boost productivity.

Vorteile:

I like to know where and how I spent my time, also when I want to look back at an earlier time range.

Nachteile:

Im just missing the possibility to tag a task itself instead of just the activity for being able to group tasks more flexible in reports.

Easy to setup and use

Vorteile:

Timeular was super easy to get setup and start using. I've setup different workspaces for the different clients I've billed and it allows me to indicate whether time is billable or not. Export functions allow me to attach a PDF of all my time to send to my clients so I reduce the amount of times that they need to ask me where their time is being spent.

Nachteile:

I wish there was some way to set alerts as I'm nearing my maximum time I've been permitted by a client in a fixed interval.

Timeular makes time tracking fun

Kommentare: I know where my time goes. And it makes time tracking fun instead of tedious, so I actually do it. It has helped me to track my effective hourly rate on different types of projects—now I know which types of projects are more profitable for me (and which are less) with data.

Vorteile:

The tracker itself is just awesome. It looks like a cool toy on my desk. I like it because it's real—I don't just log my time on an app, I physically flip something in the real world which tells my brain and my body that "I'm working now."The app itself is well designed -- totally simple to use. I review my stats at the end of the month to bill clients and the app makes quick work of an otherwise tedious job. It's also quite flexible—I use it my way, but I'm sure others use it in different ways to suit what they need and how they think and work.

Nachteile:

One time my tracker disconnected and I couldn't get it to connect, but a quick Google and I found great instructions on the Timeular website to reset the Bluetooth connection and everything was good as new. I've been using it for years without any issues—it's just a study, reliable time tracker.

Was I really undercharging that much

Kommentare: Eye opener, I use to just have little meeting and do quick tasks and not bother charging, it was an eyeopener to actually see how much these hours of 'its only a quick job' added up

I love that I have a drop down to quickly put items in a different section

Nachteile:

I find all the updates frustrating, but on a positive you can't have progress without updates and it shows the team are always working on improvements

Perfect for small business

The ease of use, overview over the calendar entries, graphics, and continued reliable uptime is a dream for me because i frequently have to change projects in a day.

Nachteile:

The only thing i wish for, is a local buffer for time entries in the calendar. It has happened that i could not be online and therefore could not use the app.

You became too expensive

Good UI, good support and the tracker is pretty handy.

Nachteile:

You pushed a very high price with lots of features that me and other people don’t care about. Please make it possibile to pay less to only get the exporting feature. API are for power users.

It's time to get Timeular!

Nachteile:

No real complaints. I was trying to build an automation between Timeular and my invoicing tool at one point, and hit a little snag with API queries, but that's not a major issue nor is it going to impact most users.

Indispensable tool

Vorteile:

Tracking device is great. Being able to set up categories or projects for time and the analytics it provides helps me to know if I’m investing my time according to my priorities and goals. Very easy to use and intuitive.

Nachteile:

The initial start up cost is a bit higher than I would have liked.

Get a clear view of how you use your time

Vorteile:

The software and tracker are easy and fun and showed me in real data how much time I was wasting during my work days. I am able to clearly see how much time I have spent on different projects and billing my clients and completing timesheets is no longer a nightmare. It has increased my work productivity and reduced distractions - I don't want to have to switch my tracker to "distraction"!

Nachteile:

The monthly subscription is somewhat pricey for workers that are not in large teams and use it solely for their own benefit. Other than that one caveat I believe that it is a great product.

Exactly the right product... but unexpected.

Kommentare: Timeular helps me organize my time more effectively, lets me track which projects are doing me the most good, and which I need to eliminate or improve.

Vorteile:

The app. It's exactly what I need. I'll admit I was drawn in by the clever tchotchke, but the most useful part of the purchase has been the tracking app. I start times right on it, and haven't charged the thing in years.

Nachteile:

Nothing. It's overall an excellent product. Maybe save up updates and only do them once a week instead of constantly?

Excellent and easy export

Vorteile:

I can easily track all my tasks with appropriate tags. I could use the dice or I can use the key commands on my keyboard

Nachteile:

I have a lot of things set up from before all the updates. The new updates would be really great to use, but it's not easy to slip right into that groove.
