Nützlich um große Dateien schnell von A nach B zu bringen!

Vorteile:

Leider hatte ich in der Vergangenheit immer wieder mal Probleme mit dem Versenden größerer Dateien. Dieses Problem gehört nun Dank We Transfer endlich der Vergangenheit an. Das hochladen der Dateien ist absolut unkompliziert und dauert auch bei langsamer Web Verbindung keine Ewigkeit. Meine erstellten Dateien kamen auch jedes mal beim Empfänger an und blieben nicht im nirgendwo hängen. We Transfer ist ein guter und nützlicher Service den ich nicht mehr missen möchte!

Nachteile:

Man muss seine Dateien mit einem fremden Server Hochladen. Dennoch habe ich das Gefühl das man diesem Service absolut vertrauen kann!

Große Dateien verschicken? Einfacher geht es nicht!

Kommentare: Insgesamt schätze ich den Service sehr, etwa für den schnellen Austausch von von Videodateien. Für sensibles Material oder im professionellen Kontext würde ich die kostenfreie Variante nicht verwenden.

Vorteile:

Nach einer unkomplizierten Anmeldung sofort große Dateien (bis 2GB) im kostenfreien Account verschicken. Das hat mir schon in manchen Situationen viel Stress erspart.

Nachteile:

Der einzige Nachteil: die Datei, die man verschicken möchte, landet auf einem fremden Server. Für sensible oder internes Material würde ich den Service also definitiv nicht verwenden.

Very reliable and fast

Kommentare: WeTransfer performs well for me when used for uploading to an external server. It supports collaboration and large file uploads and sharing between our own servers and those of others. We're particularly fond of WeTransfer for generating assets for partners, vendors and clients.

Vorteile:

A limit is imposed for file storage up to 2GB. This is superior to what other free file hosts allow, as I don't know much about hosts that allow storage up to 1GB. No registration. My recipients can upload their own email addresses, add themselves manually, and send me the finished file. No registration or lengthy wait for approval is required; they simply upload and send. WeTransfer enables you to check whether the file has been opened and whether the recipient has read it.

Nachteile:

Large uploads may fail unless your network is unusually strong (e.g., you have to pay for a premium account). The Password and Expiration date features of WeTransfer are not exclusive to the Paid version of the app. Chrome can be a bit quirky during the uploading process - at times, the process may take more than one attempt.

Save time with Bettre secutiry

Kommentare: We transfer system is the best that i use until now. I prefer to improve more secure system with end to end encryption and little more higher the free limit of transfer. i'm really like if your team can think about the extending storage time for the free user because it will really helpful.

Vorteile:

when we consider about other flat forms i recommend this 100%. Most valuable feature is its free and we don't want to have account. we can transfer our files more secure with encryption and amazing speed. when we get purchase the plans we get more facilities with more space. I'm really happy to use we transfer.

Nachteile:

main issue is file size limitation. Sometime when need to send a bigger files its a issue for me when i use free and most commonly i get the free storage duration limit. and not having a permanent storage , I'm get a issue trouble because of this .

Easy Way to Transfer Huge Files!

Kommentare: It functions flawlessly most of the time, but lately I've noticed some issues. I was unable to upload and connect into my account, and I kept getting 'something went wrong' alerts.

Vorteile:

It's pretty simple and easy. fulfills its promise. I adore the newly added "pay before you download" feature!

Nachteile:

It occasionally takes a few tries to open a file you've been sent; perhaps this is because the network is busy, but that's all

As soon as you pay for a subscription you'll be disappointed. Instead of a 7 day transfer expiry, now you're transfers are only 3 days unless you manually extend the expiry for each and every transfer. Then you can get more time than the 7 days, but an extra step you really don't need. The advertising says 60 days, it doesn't say 3 days and please sir, can i have some more...

Easy secure file sharing

How simple this is to use compared to others, we found that staff could use this with very little training, cost is good and service is quick.

Nachteile:

sometimes when trying to open a file you have been sent it takes a few attempys, maybe its when the network is busy but thats all

We Transfer for the Win

Vorteile:

Simplicity of use and just the fact it works, every time. The single front page of up to 2gb files is easy to get customers to use without having them jump through a lot of hoops.

Nachteile:

Nothing big comes to mind. We have had little to no issues running it with our team.

Fast transfer without email colapse

Kommentare: I'm happy with WeTransfer; it does precisely what the name is.

Vorteile:

Fast, Fast, Fast, Fast, Is too much repetition? No is fast, and don't have storage space problems that I face when send big files by other apps (emails, chat, etc).

Nachteile:

I think that is fantastic. They also have a free version that is very powerful too.

Large file transfers

Kommentare: great for file transfer between client and ourselves, and from us to clients at times.

Vorteile:

Its easy to use and good for clients to transfer large files of images simply and in a single drop

Nachteile:

for me the desktop app for mac is a little clunky at times so largely us the online profile

Best File Sharing I've Used

Kommentare: I primarily use the software to share large files with members outside of my organization. I particularly like how it keeps them out of my database. With cloud services I'm always concerned they will receive a permission unintentionally or longer than they should. It's really as simple as sending an email with WeTransfer.

Vorteile:

The ease of use is immense. I used this very frequently for a tourism company where I shared videos and photos with guests from our trip. The platform is incredibly straightforward to upload and email, simple as that. It creates a ZIP file for you and sends the receiver a link where they can download your files. It is way more clear cut than sharing with Google Drive and easier to manage than Dropbox.

Nachteile:

The free version does have an expiration on the link but it has never caused any issues. I primarily use the software for file sharing and it's other capabilities such as team collaboration don't get used by my organization.

Years go by and it is still fundamental to my work.

Kommentare: It has always been a very good option. I have been using it for over 4 years and it has always worked. On one occasion I had a problem with a file that was uploaded and only that copy existed, and the customer service helped me. It was very important and they did it quickly.

Vorteile:

Ease of use. And its upload speed and delivery to the end user. Also being able to use the url as a backup.

Nachteile:

The double verification with the mobile phone complicates the use a little bit. And maybe 30 days of keeping the file would be a good idea.

WeTransfer : Powerfull and Feature Rich Application.

Kommentare: Overall its a great platform to use . There can be slider like option that you need more days or GB. WeTransfer if the perfect tool to manage and share your document over the cloud. One can access the files over the mobile and thus it is the greatest feature that you have the big files of many GBs in your mobile. One can simply share the link and other can able to modify and edit the files making it very easy tool to collaborate with the users . USP of this application is its capability to securely transfer your large files in few seconds securely.

Limits to upload the GBs can be more while we can compromise with the number of days for which the link is valid.

Kommentare: One of the best and easiest file-sharing platforms, no account required, secure and easy to use. it offers free file transfer service till 2 GB.

Vorteile:

Easily transfer large files within less time, securely download and upload files for specific users.Using email addresses allows sharing and transferring files faster without having to give in specific information.

Nachteile:

Shared files cannot be broken or deleted after a certain period of time. If you send the wrong file, you can't back it up and need to send a new link.

The FTP Go-to

Kommentare: WeTransfer saved our bacon during the lockdown period. While working remotely, we didnt have access to our local file server so we relied heavily on WeTransfer to move file between the design team as well as to client.

Vorteile:

I love the simplicity of WeTransfer, it is not overly complicated, just click and drag, add an email + message and boom your files are on their way. Another great thing is that the receiver isnt required to have an account to download, just simply click and download. The email updates also help us keep track of whether a client has downloaded the file or not. That feature has saved out bacon more than once.

Nachteile:

The security is a problem. We have one client in particular that refuses to work with WeTransfer as they consider it to be insecure. I can understand it. while I love the simplicity of it, It can be a problem as well. So if anything, maybe they could introduce a security feature that tracks downloads, or locks them in a way so that only the intended reciepient can download it.

WeTrasnfer can transfer anything.

Kommentare: It's beneficial because I sometimes need to submit emergency data; when I do, I use WeTransfer, and everything goes far quicker. It's among the best options for transferring files that I've tried; it's greatly aided me, particularly in simplifying my working life, and I expect them to continue to expand and introduce new features.

WeTransfer is indeed a very comprehensive platform that allows me to submit large files with minimal effort. This software sending speed is unrivaled, and its interface is stable. The free version will showing background ads that can be removed with the plus version. The free version can be sharing files with a limitation of 2 GB, which is not the best option for me. However, if you want to get the most out of this service, the plus version is the best option if you're going to get the most out of it.

Nachteile:

I have no issues with this platform, and it works as it should. I would want them to add new functionality, such as verifying whether the recipient receives the file and whether I can correctly download it. This would be extremely helpful.

Simple yet Powerful Solution to Sharing Big Files That Matter

Kommentare: Overall, it is undoubtedly one of the best services of that kind that I have used over the years. In many cases, I find it even more convenient than a cloud storage solution because nothing is linked to one specific account and there is no need to garbage collect archives that are no longer in use. This can be a doubled-edge sword, but frankly one can just reupload files when needed or realize how much or how little interest the recipient has when getting an email confirmation when the files have been downloaded, which is obviously another great feature of WeTransfer. In work situations, this actually is wonderfully useful as the recipient can't fake that the information hasn't got through. It even works equally well for transferring encrypted archives that contain sensitive information and so we have given our trust to this service many, many times. I haven't personally needed to contact their customer support yet, but I have seen how well WeTransfer treat their customers and I have no doubt they will be there when the time comes.

WeTransfer is very easy to use, both for the sender and the recipient. In fact, no user needs to create an account to start with: it is just a matter of using the intuitive interface to upload one or more files and indicate an email for the files to be received. This comes in handy to send files that are too large to be attached in an email but that still need to be delivered to people who aren't necessarily tech-savvy. There is also a very useful feature available to generate a link instead of sending an email. It never failed on me during a transfer, nor when sending or receiving an email. It has consistently worked flawlessly and gives valid reasons to switch to a paid account, especially for the additional nice benefits it offers: you can transfer 20GB at once; store up to 100GB; files are kept for longer; you can password-protect files and you can even have your own personalized web address with a custom background wallpaper. Even with a free account, it never feels like a limited service: downloads and uploads are quick and reliable.

Nachteile:

After sharing dozens and dozens of files with family, friends and colleagues, there is only one drawback with WeTransfer: most of the files uploaded, being sent through free accounts, will expire after 7 days. Most of the time, this is more than enough, but it can cause some troubles to have to reupload the exact same big files (or sometimes series of files) because the recipient haven't taken the time to download them. One great feature that could potentially save some bandwidth for everyone would be to have the ability to extend the expiration date a day or two before it is supposed to expire. As a workaround for now, it is indeed convenient to have a Premium account to avoid this pitfall. I almost exclusively use this service on a laptop, but I will admit that I did experience some troubles with the iPhone application: when transferring an archive that was too large to fit on the smartphone, it somehow hung up and there was no way to fix the issue through the app. Hopefully, it was possible to use a third-party application to manually find and deleted the partially downloaded archive to free up some space and give life back to the WeTransfer app.

Lastly, if you accidentally send files to an incorrect recipient, you can easily rescind the transfer link from the notification email you receive when initiating the initial transfer of files.

Nachteile:

The free version doesn't require, at least currently, you to set up an account through WeTransfer (you just need to enter a "From" email address), so privacy is a small concern (i.e. how secure is using a free WeTransfer account), but not a major one. We do not use WeTransfer for sensitive document transfers.

Kommentare: Overall, I like using WeTransfer. It's simple, fun and it does its job perfectly - delivers big attachments to other people. I also sometimes use it to store big files only for my use. That is possible if you create an account that gives you 2 GB of free storage. Give WeTransfer a try and you will begin to love sending big files again!

Vorteile:

WeTransfer made sending really big files a breeze. You just open your browser, navigate to WeTransfer, enter details to which email this file should go and you upload a file. It's really that easy! You don't even need to have a WeTransfer account. But in this case, you aren't allowed to send that big files but it would still be great for sending larger files if your email is rejecting attachments larger than 25 MB as mine is. What I especially like about WeTransfer is that every time I visit WeTransfer I notice there is a different background and sometimes there is even some nice story about background picture. The website features a really unique design and I like it. Also what I like is that I can protect links with a password so only people who know the password can access it, even if the link leaks somehow. Another nice feature is that links can have an expiry date. For example, shared links can expire after 2 weeks

Nachteile:

I don't like that files send through WeTransfer are delivered via the WeTransfer email address. I would like that email appears to be sent from my email address. I don't know if there are some limitations and how exactly does email protocols work but I am sure that is possible. Maybe is just a little more complicated for that to be set up and WeTransfer's main goal is to be as simple as possible and I can totally understand that.

Excellent platform to send very heavy files

Kommentare: Thanks to WeTranfer I have been able to send large files by email to my coworkers. Nowadays there are many services to store files online, but the bad thing is that many times they want to take money from us when it is used frequently. On the other hand, with WeTranfer I have sent many files and it always works excellent and best of all, I do it for free.

Vorteile:

Several years ago, sometimes I needed to send large files of up to 1GB to my coworkers and I didn't have a platform that met that goal. Until I discovered WeTransfer, from that moment it is one of my favorites to send large files. Something that I love is that it is not necessary for the person who receives the file to see advertising in order to download it, that is a great advantage. Also the fact that you can send files up to 2GB by email is excellent and it is not necessary for the person to register to download it. It is very easy to use WeTransfer, you do not need to search for tutorial videos to know how to use this wonderful platform.

Nachteile:

I just think it has a disadvantage. The maximum time the platform gives me to download the file is 7 days, after that the file is automatically deleted. I would like the expiration time to be at least 14 days, so that many users who keep busy or have slow internet can download the document comfortably and without the worry that they have little time left to download it.

Perfect file sharing software

Kommentare: We transfer is extremely easy to access and has solved a lot of the problems that would arise regarding file sharing.
It's got a reasonable limit on transfers and I use it on a daily basis sometimes more than 10 times in the day. Being able to have a link that can be easily circulated is a huge positive of this software.
I would recommend this software to any one who has to share files regularly because the pros outweigh the cons in a significant way

Vorteile:

It's perfect for the use i have. In my company we don't have a internal server, hence file sharing is difficult. We rely mostly on emails but that limits data sharing to 25 MD. Which when it comes to design is not much while transferring heavy software files. We transfer allows us to transfer these files, to each other and printers easily. It's also convenient to be able to transfer folders instead of individual files. Additionally 2GB is a good limit for data. And it can be used multiple times during the day. Love the way they feature artists and lists on their page so, you're occupied while you're waiting for your files to transfer.

Nachteile:

Files only remain for 7 days. Some important files have to be resent again. It takes very long at times to transfer files. Inspite of the internet speed.

The best way to share files with clients, teammates and family

Vorteile:

Wetransfer was the perfect solution I've used to be able to share files, video or images with our client for review approval on the run. With a simple drag and drop the files are uploaded to the Wetransfer server, and we are able to either send them directly to the client or have the unique link to our files saved for future use. It is worth noting that we use both the premium and free. We use the premium to keep files we want to use in the future (beyond the 1 week limit). We use the free edition to share files with our clients or to send to other offices when we don't care if they expire beyond initial use. Our favorite use of Wetransfer, is to host files that we want to distribute in events or meetings and simply share the link with attendees and guests. Did I mention that they have a mobile app too? Quite useful when on you are on the move and need access to specific files, or need to receive videos for review.

Nachteile:

Not much to be honest, we initially had an issue with the 100 gigabyte limit on premium, however Wetransfer increased the limit to 1 terabyte last year.
