Great Marketing tool and excellent digital signage

Kommentare: Used XOGO at a previous hotel when set up digital signage in the lobby. It worked great so used it again at my new hotel. It is easy to use, can use Canva or other software to create the slides, save them into a movie if you like and upload them to XOGO.

Vorteile:

Easy to use and install. Using on one unit if free, but once you use it one one, you will want to use it one multiple.

Nachteile:

Nothing really. As want to keep it fresh and new for repeat customers, have to change and update the slides.

This software is easy to use and really can be ran by anyone.

Nachteile:

Nothing! This product has not failed me yet.

Easy to use platform

Kommentare: This has been a pleasant experience thus far. The customer service provided by [sensitive content hidden] at XOGO has been phenomenal as well.

Vorteile:

I like how user friendly the website is and the ease of adding, editing and making changes.

Nachteile:

No Cons so far! We are still in the initial testing stages but haven't had any problems.

Doesn't handle some webpages well. It just hangs the system and a restart is required.

It is easy to set up displays. Easy to incorporate images

Nachteile:

Will not stay on. Have changed settings on screens and everything we have been told to do.

Scheduling and multi platform use needs to be improved.

Kommentare: When we emailed technical support with a very clear complaint about the scheduling, the response was a link to a YouTube video that we had already watched and did not answer our question. Technical support is lacking and it took two days to even get a response that did not answer our questions.

Vorteile:

Displays nicely and clearly. There is the ability to rotate images in the app, but it is not an easy thing to find.

Nachteile:

Scheduling is difficult and only available on the Windows app. Functionality on Android is much less. The free overlay feature for time/temp and weather is also difficult to set up.

Kommentare: XOGO has been an amazing experience, for sure!

What I like least about XOGO is nothing at all, it's pretty sweet!

Great media player!!

Vorteile:

The Xogo manager makes sending photos and videos to the media player extremely easy!

Nachteile:

Only one player allowed with free account.

Had high hopes, but was let down

Vorteile:

Was relatively inexpensive, and the videos show ease of use.

Nachteile:

Zero customer support, had to email since no one answers the phone, and wait a day or two for a response, and the response was watch this video, even though their software was failing to do what it promised.

Xogo is a go go!

Great for a novice. I was able to use a softwares called canva to design the content.

Small learning curve. Took some trial and error to get right

Sounded good but in the end not a great solution for signage

Kommentare: had high hopes but in the end there are better solutions out there.

Vorteile:

It is easy to setup i hooked the device ( Xogo Mini 4K) into the TV Pushed the Wifi settings to it VIA bluetooth. Then installed the Xogo app onto my samsung phone. uploaded some pictures created a playlist etc. Which worked some what correctly.

Nachteile:

Ok so a majority of people use Iphones i purchased this device and of course everyone in the company i gave it to had iphones. so yeah no support. but i guess we should be able to put it on a windows 10 machine so this client can manage his signage well unfortunatly he runs windows 7 throughout his workplace. Thats ok ill grab them a laptop with windows 10. navigate through the crappy windows store. download the manager app onto the laptop the app opens then closes automatically. I should add there is no support number for Xogo you just send a email and wait. i for one personally hate this style of support you write something and just hope the support team gets back to you. Now all this aside you purchase the 300 dollar xogo mini 4k but guess what guys you cannot setup a certain timer schedule for your images unless you pay Xogo 20 bucks a month the free version is extremely limited.

New user for outdoor signage

Intuitive and easy to use and it doesn’t time out.

Nachteile:

New user. Will have to use it more to find out.

Love it so far

Kommentare: We're loving this so far. We initially went with a large competitor that is based on a Freemium model. Downloaded their software to design the signage and it was so complicated we move to XOGO in about 5 minutes.

Vorteile:

Very easy to use and deploy. Designing the first playlist had a very easy learning curve. Getting it to work on remote devices was a easy as it could get - download the app from the PlayStore or Microsoft App Store, get the device code, enter the code on your main device and boom, you're in business.

Nachteile:

Wish we could create photo slideshows with motion natively in the app instead of loading a video. Need to be able to force websites to "View As Desktop" on android. We have 1 device that is on Chrome and the websites show up as mobile versions which don't work on large screens.

Communication About Your Device's Requirements Needs Improvement

Can provide a new review once our XOGO Mini is fully functioning.

Vorteile:

Adding photos is easy. Tutorial video needs improvement (slow down, go step by step, etc.). I am hoping it will offer graphics, but won't know until I get it connected.

Nachteile:

XOGO did not list the items needed to get connected to the XOGO Mini. We purchased the Mini on Amazon.com. After installing the XOGO Mini and the new TV screen, I discovered that I needed Windows 10, so had to upgrade my computer. Once that was installed, I spent quite a bit of time trying to connect to the XOGO Mini. After a few emails to XOGO tech support, I learned that I needed Bluetooth, which I don't have, and have since ordered. I hope that will be everything, but won't know until the Bluetooth gets here. At this point, unfortunately, my XOGO digital signage setup has been delayed about two weeks, and I cannot give a complete review. Online video tutorial needs more step by step instructions. As it is, it glosses over many of the main points (e.g. how to install the XOGO program, device requirements, what to click on to get to the same screen as in the video, etc.)

Easy to use and ad your slides or videos to the Playlist. Set up was a little lengthy but their support were quick and very helpful to walk me through it. Once set up it is a breeze to run and manage on your own.

Nachteile:

Software is super easy and user friendly

Easy to display what you want on TV screens in our office and customize to what we like. Very easy to use. Like the clean design of the software.

Nachteile:

Still figuring out how to put a live website up there. Would be neat if there was a tool to add things to a Library and Playlist at the same time but not really a big issue.

Reasonably priced product. Once we figured out image sizing it was very easy to use. We swap out images every week. Makes for a striking display in our store.

Nachteile:

Somewhat limited number of images but works okay for our needs. Would like the ability to add a second device without having to subscribe for pro service.

This product is easy to use, easy to set up and definitely worth every penny.

Nachteile:

You are limited to a specific amount of slides, if you want more you have to pay for unlimited. It would be nice if there was a tiered fee.

Vorteile:

I like the fact that I don’t have to go out and buy additional hardware to complete a simple task. My only concern is that for equipment I already own, I have to spend extra per monitor. I’d understand if I had to on multiple locations but a single location using different slides, it gets a little pricy each month.

Nachteile:

I’m not a big fan of having to use only my phone to upload images or videos, some projects I would prefer to use just the PC for simplicity.

Vorteile:

It is so easy to setup and use. It integrated with our system very quickly. I love that we can manage content remotely.

Nachteile:

The transitions between slides can use some work, it’s a little choppy. Maybe a cross fade option? Also, Mac and iOS compatibility would be great, or a web interface. Right now it’s only windows or android.
