Good tool to protect against malware

Kommentare: In general, AVG does a good job at protecting all the computers in our workspace as well as monitoring our internet security. It was easy to set it up initially and it doesn't overly distract the team with too many suggestions.

Vorteile:

What I like about AVG is its reliability. It doesn't have the most up-to-date design or the most fluid user experience, but when it comes to threats, all suspicious files get flagged and put in quarantine. Also, it scans the email attachments before I open them.

Nachteile:

I think the design and user interface are a bit outdated. Sometimes it detected certain files as malware when in reality it is a false positive. Another issue is how slow the cloud version is.

Kommentare: I have been using AVG antivirus personally for quite some time. In 2024, the company began using AVG Antivirus Business Edition, in order to try to avoid possible infections with laptop and PC viruses of professionals, which occurred by constantly opening and reviewing files (word, pdf, excel, among others) that were sent both by students (from their private PCs) and by the exchange of files between different levels which could eventually contain viruses and infect multiple computers.
At the moment I have found it quite easy to use and very adequate protection, warning me of possible malicious files and blocking some connections.

Vorteile:

It is an easy-to-use antivirus that does not require great knowledge to configure it since with just installing and making a few clicks you can already have the maximum protection on your laptop or PC and thus not have to worry about software that wants to steal your data and hijack your OS. (with another antivirus it happened to me a couple of times)

Nachteile:

So far I have not presented any inconveniences

Kommentare: My overall experience with AVG Antivirus Buisness Edition was a toss up because it does find and get rid of threats quickly and removes them safely but at the same time it slowed our computers down to the point we finally had to delete it.

I like AVG Antivirus Buisness Edition because it stays current with new viruaes and malware and finds threats quickly beforw they can damage our network.

Nachteile:

I dont like the fact that AVG Antivirus Buisness Edition slows down our computers anf would sometimes freeze up some older computers we used it on. To many graphics and background running processes.

Kommentare: AVG has saved me many times over, blocking questionable sites from attempting to open millions of windows with spam content, and even catching a few viruses before they could infect me over the years.

Fantastic at blocking threats in real time before they can attack or infect my computer.

Slows my computer down a bit, and requires frequent restarts for updates.

Kommentare: I know for a fact it's protected my network from viruses. Since I've had it I haven't had one virus, as before without it, I had quit a few viruses. Avg warns me of threats from malicious websites before I visit it.

Nachteile:

AVG has a minor setback due to it updating and it gets to be feeling like a hassle.

Kommentare: With an evergrowing number of viruses, trojans, malware, I decided to install some antivirus software. Before buying one, I decided to try and compare some of them and my initial choice was AVG. For some time I liked it very much: its interface was very friendly and easy to use, it showed how it was working and gave you a full sense of protection. However, not long time after troubles started to develop. First, I received an important document that had some micro virus. AVG tried to cure it, was unsuccessful and DELETED the document without my consent! Then it found a virus inside a program I used daily. I used virustotal to check the program and no other antivirus found anything there, it was a clear false positive. Then I googled for antivirus reviews and I was shocked that by 3rd party reviews, AVG was able to find only about 60-70% of viruses (industry leaders find close to 99%). The last straw was that my computer started to run very slowly because of AVG. As a results, I removed it and started to use other antivirus software.

It's free and it's very easy to use - these are the only things that I liked about this antivirus. However, security is not something you'd like to save money on.

Nachteile:

I have to say that I used AVG some time ago and probably they fixed some of these issues, but when I used it the problems were the following: * It takes a lot of CPU and RAM. My computer was running so slow with AVG, that I had to remove it. Other antiviruses didn't create such a load. * It's overall rate was very very low, it was able to find about 60-70% of known viruses. Yet it was giving some false positives too.

Absolute security, no more breaches!

Kommentare: Earlier and before installing AVG internet security, my PC was not protected, a lot of viruses were getting into my PC, ruining my documents, slowing down my PC and sometimes stealing my personal information.
Ever since I installed AVG Internet Security, the threats were all gone, no more malware, no more viruses, simply complete protection! it might be missing a few features and tools but what it lacks in features it makes it up by the great performance and the trusted protection, I have never been satisfied more with any other Antivirus Softwares!

One of the most important aspects to me when choosing any Antivirus software is the stability and high performance, AVG Internet Security provides them both. it is smooth, it will not slow down your PC, it will not drain your CPU and most importantly it will provide the needed protection to prevent any malicious activities and breaches. Overall the software has got all of the features that is needed for a software to qualify as an Anti-virus software, such as; link protection, email protection, and of course an online shield. through 3 years of using this software, I can safely say its performance is amongst the top in the field and can compete with many many other Anti-Virus Softwares.

Nachteile:

I think some people might not like the software for lacking the Parental Control feature, although it does not affect me personally. The software is missing some important tools like Online backup tools and some others that are likely to get people frustrated.

I totally like this software but all internet security software doing same mistake not without avg internet security, that if you download some app or software some words are some content they can't find which is very useful to us and its telling antivirus?.i downloaded one app of my bank and everytime use internet message from bank avg says its mallware .sometimes these softwares are not finding whioch is mallware and which is safe messages or safe content., times they will block good reputed websites also.my suggestion to these softwares you update your scanning cotents and add more contents into it
