Consistently Inconsistent

Kommentare: Overall disappointed with the level of inconsistency at all levels.

Vorteile:

They have proven to to be a valuable part of our Payroll and HR Business compliance. ADP Comprehensive Services has kept us in compliance. They really look into how you are using the services and help to level up the experience.

Nachteile:

Their systems don't work well together, I wish it was a little more customizable from the client side, inconsistency in support and extending the customer support time beyond 5PM. We've had settings reversed or access removed without anyone adjusting anything, so there are occasionally some bugs that have to be worked through. Would have liked more guided set-up in some areas. Their training resources/guides can definitely use an upgrade, L&D module is very basic.

Kommentare: Take my advice, outsourcing is NOT always teh answer. Things make look golden on paper and in "demo mode", but live on the floor during peak buisness hours, you do not have time to 'troubleshoot' a ADP ticket for teh 1,000th time.

All-in-one service solution for popular HR administrative services, payroll, and talent recruiting.

Nachteile:

Entry level staff CONSTANTLY has an issue clocking into the system, which requires their Supervisor to manually adjust each punch. On average with my last employer, I was correcting 80 missed or incorrect punches per two week period for 9 employees. HR FMLA processing is, from my experience, a horrendous and borderline illegal mishandling of information. Very easy to 'file" for FMLA, but after that initial phone call, no one knows what's going on. The frontline staff answering the phone tries their best to interpret the information to provide updates, but the "back office" is elusive and does not speak with customers or offer assistance to frontline staff that is trying to explain status information for leave cases. I had to eventually start recording my calls to ensure my internal HR department had a record of the horrible service my previous employe is probably paying close to a 1M per year.

Nachteile:

While ADP Comprehensive Services offers many benefits, there are a few areas where I felt improvements could be made. One of the primary concerns was the platform’s complexity in certain features. Despite its broad range of functionalities, some aspects of the system can be quite intricate to navigate, especially for new users. This complexity occasionally leads to longer learning curves and can be a bit overwhelming for HR teams who are not as tech-savvy. Additionally, while ADP’s customer support is generally responsive, there were instances where resolving issues took longer than expected

Vorteile:

ADP Comprehensive Services are extremely user-friendly and easy to navigate. Customer support is always quick to respond with helpful answers. The system is robust and I love the way HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, etc., are all accessible on one platform.

Nachteile:

Sometimes upgrades are made to the program but are not conveyed to the client in a timely manner causing the client to have to relearn navigation, etc. Also, when the system is unexpectedly unavailable, ADP does not notify the clients and clients are responsible to find out on their own that the system is down.

Great Service for Greener Teams

Kommentare: It's great to have the additional support and I think the service can be really helpful for clients with less seasoned payroll teams; however, for clients with seasoned payroll teams who have experience running their own processes, it can be frustrating to wait for ADP to do tasks that can be done quicker on the client side.

I like that we have the support of our dedicated ADP service team no matter what the challenge is.

Nachteile:

As someone who has used both Comp and Non-Comp Services, I find it challenging not to have the ability to process payroll (specifically running previews) or calculate manual checks.

Wonderful product, always improving!

Kommentare: As someone who came into a role with no instruction on ADP, I have found it very easy to get help with a simple phone call or to submit a case. The team is very responsive and makes sure follow up happens.

Vorteile:

I like that ADP is always improving. They take feedback and turn it into new products and processes.

Nachteile:

Sometimes I find it hard to find guides and support for certain processes without reaching out to a live person.

Kommentare: I have worked with ADP Comprehensove Services at a couple of jobs, and I receive consistenly great service every time! No issue that I may have is too bigfor them to assist me with, or find a way to resolve.

The prompt services, the care, thoroughness, and "follow-up" nature of the representatives

Nachteile:

Hasving to pay for custom reports sometimes, when an already-existing styandard report is available, and can be tweaked for no additional cost.

Nachteile:

Tracking of paid sick leave in the various states can be a hassle. Updating of platform when you least expect it.

Overall decent product just needs modernization

Kommentare: I like our service expert in HR and rely on her when needed. It can depend on who you are grouped with so if you aren't getting the response as quickly as you need, you may need to request another contact. The system is big and handles an assortment of needs/tasks but can feel clunky and a bit outdated. ADP asks for feedback and continues to update the system on a quarterly basis. In the end, if you are knowledgeable in an HRIS, you can do what you need to in the system it just would be helpful if they offered easy workflows and the ability to send reports to those who aren't administrators.

Vorteile:

We have a good service team right now and can request changes when necessary. We know the system very well and don't have to utilize support very often. Employee information is easy to navigate.

Nachteile:

System is clunky and can change without notice. Performance management, although recently updated doesn't allow for goals over 100% and Comp Module doesn't flow over to payroll with dates for bonuses. Things you think would be easy to fix take a while. Also, data feeds are handled offshore and are very painful to fix and update since you don't have access to that group by portal. Everything is in email and they don't respond timely.

Kommentare: We are working on updating the Pay Grades and aligning them with merit increases and bonuses.

Vorteile:

I like that we can intergrade different functions for different departments in on HR system.

Nachteile:

I don't like when the updates reject certain functions or don't keep information needed.

Comprehensive Services Tool

Vorteile:

I like the dedicated support staff that are assigned to us most. They are easily reachable and very knowledgeable.

Nachteile:

I least liked the implementation team as they were very unreliable before they turned it over to our support staff.

The ease of the website and when I have a problem the ability to go online or call for help.

They keep changing the website when it is not necessary. The old site was more user friendly.

ADP WFN is good but you'll regret adding comprehensive services...

Kommentare: I refuse to work for any company that uses comprehensive services.

Vorteile:

Absolutely nothing, it's extremely expensive and adds nothing to a company unless they don't want to pay for a in-house payroll specialist. However, an in-house payroll specialist with prior ADP experience will have more control without comprehensive services which should lead to less errors with thorough audits.

Nachteile:

I used ADP Comprehensive services tied in with ADP Workforce for approximately six weeks . Week 2 I wanted to pull out my hair in frustration. My prior company had ADP WFN where I had full control. My new company had comprehensive + WFN. My top three aggravations were: #1 losing the ability to cut manual checks (i.e. QuikCalc 1min-30 sec task w/o CS). The team would be responsible for this & if we were lucky we received the calculations before the end of the day. #2 losing the ability to preview & submit payroll. (Another 2-10 min process) The team sent us custom Excel files to enter retro pay, pto, missed hours etc. Once complete we sent it to them to create a batch. Hrs later they'd send preview reports for verifying. Each code required 1-2 correction plus waiting hours for updated reports. Our bi-weekly submission date was Wed but they submitted on Thu cutting it extremely close to the wire & leaving no room for a final look over. #3 our team was no more knowledgeable than the CSR's answering phones. For several weeks we requested a shift differential added to certain communities, they struggled to figure it out & we had to cut checks for shorted employees. However, the 4th pay period attempted they got the rate correct but that's the only rate employees were paid.

Nachteile:

The Tax service is excellent in many ways for a multi-tax client. However, the items that need to be fixed (frequently as a result of a state making a mistake) just takes too long with the ADP tax service -- need to be more responsive and flexible to get items fixed more timely. -- Again want to stress that the service is there and taxes are paid , but the time to get some items done needs to improve

Kommentare: I like ADP Comprehensive Services because it flows from HR to Payroll seamlessly. I also like that there's a customer service number with options to choose depending what areas (HR, Payroll, Compliance, Reporting, Tax, etc.) you need help in. My rep., [sensitive content hidden] is very responsive in resolving my issues.

Vorteile:

I like ADP Comprehensive Services because it has a lot of features/modules (HR, Payroll, Tax, WGPS, GLI, Reporting that is essential in employee management.

Nachteile:

Some of the management reports, I don't have visibility when it gets imported to 3rd party vendor so when there's an issue, I'm unable to identify and resolve.

Having a dedicated service team who goes the extra mile. Also having a relationship manager who can intervene when needed.

Comp services is great. No cons now, but we did go through several reps in a short time at first, which was frustrating.

Kommentare: Customer service needs to be revamped. It would be helpful if the reps were knowledgeable with all parts of the platform (instead of specializing in one area: payroll, HR, reporting, etc.) because they don't understand their solutions may impact another platform negatively.

Vorteile:

I have had issues with just about every part of the platform.

Nachteile:

Each piece of the platform should work together. I should not have to make multiple changes for a single change. I know we aren't using ADP to it's full extent, but customer service is unhelpful and can't fix the problems we are having. Reporting, especially auditing, is unreliable and returns information that can't possibly be true.

Vorteile:

I like having most employee information in one, easily accessible location. Having payroll, personal info, job related info, and any other information in one spot is great for access for managers, department heads, and anyone who may need specific info about an employee.

Nachteile:

There are pieces that are a bit clunky - the Benefits Management piece is one. There is such a long lead time for annual enrollment information that we're unable to meet those timeframes with our vendors to make use of the system.

Great for Payroll

Kommentare: It has been ok until recently. A lot of changes are happening and sometimes not for the best

Vorteile:

The system has amazing features and a great payroll system that is customizable.

Nachteile:

Custom setups mean that not everything works well together and we find that there are a lot of glitches. Too many updates make it hard to work smoothly within the system. The HR portion could use some work and better features to make the system run more fluidly into payroll.

employees are not able to go back and edit their time themselves after it has been 24 hours.
