Kommentare: Our experience with Toucan has been great! It really is a tool that anyone can utilize after working through the training courses! The customer service has been above and beyond expectations since our first initial contact with them and we have unlimited access to the team with the product purchase - no extra support or implementation fees. We are very grateful to have found the Toucan team for our data visualization needs.

Vorteile:

Toucan has been the perfect data visualization tool for our company. Their customer service has been excellent from the initial discovery call to 6 months in with regular account check ups. The team guided us in the process of finding and syncing our data (via Azure SQL) to our apps in order to build beautiful data visualizations. We have been really grateful for the self learning tools that Toucan provides for no additional cost. Our internal team of builders were able to take the course and build out several dashboards just from those self learning instances. During the discovery journey, we met many companies who would charge extra for training and development, implementation, or even outsource to a third party for all training and development. We are so happy we ended up with Toucan!

Nachteile:

We had to learn a bit of code only because of how we are integrating the majority of our data into Toucan. We are using Microsoft Azure for our SQL database and needed to learn at least the basics of SQL in order to run queries to pull the tables into the visuals we were building. That being said, Walter was super helpful pointing us in the right direction for free training courses on SQL and would even go the extra mile to review our queries in the first few visuals to make sure we were optimizing output.

An user friendly tool which can scale up rapidly

Vorteile:

The possibility to copy paste the "small apps" and their contents (which is a set of different views on a specific topic or team for example) and simply change the data sources via connectors is quick and easy.More features to facilitate scaling are in the works to enhance the productivity

Nachteile:

Some features we would instinctively expect as Excel users are not here.Some view would be better with more density of information.

Intuitive tool & great user experience

Vorteile:

Easy and intuitive implementation Great user experience (tiles, stories, visualizations,...)

Nachteile:

Not enough customization options for particular tiles and graphs (legends, colors, number of rows,...)

Toucan helped position our existing product as a leader in the Marketing Research industry.

Vorteile:

Toucan's go to market speed as a reporting component to our existing product is unmet in the BI market. Also, the ease with which you can deploy it without needing technical skills was a big part of why we chose to go with this tool. The team is also very helpful.

Nachteile:

It'd be nice to improve the implementation process a little bit more for non technical persons. However, the team's been great with us. this is just a detail.

I first enjoyed Toucan Toco as a client. Now as a Toucan Toco partner I make my clients happy too!

Vorteile:

User Experience. Toucan Toco is really easy to use ever for non data specialist people. Above all the interfaces are smooth an simple. Full Web solution. Toucan Toco is a web application even its creation studio. All devices. Toucan Toco can be deployed on any devices as it is a responsive web solution. Time to market. Building a Toucan Toco app can take less than one month before you can go live. Integration : Toucan Toco can integrate data from many Data Sources and Data Providers and their number is still growing.

Nachteile:

Toucan Toco solution is not yet known and recognized as it should be compared to some of its competitors. But for sure this will change very soon.

A great no-code solution to rapidly create dashboard for our clients

Kommentare: Toucan has helped us to address several issues at once.
First we provide a better experience to our clients where they can access their data through a modern looking and easy-to-use dashboard. On top of that, the transparency helped strengthen the trust and limited the frustration one could have whenever they were back and forth with the Customer Success Manager who edited the report to understand the way it was computed, the meaning behind a definition, or simply because they were manual errors.
Secondly, creating a report manually was a boring and time-consuming task that Customer Success Managers dreaded, and having set-up a Toucan dashboard has freed a lot of time for CSM to focus on what matters.

Vorteile:

Toucan provides a complete and easy-to-use solution for non-developer profiles like mine. The ease of set-up allowed us to set-up and deploy a dashboard in record time, that our customers love. While they were the one pushing us to give them access to a dashboard, they were actually surprised by how fast we deployed the solution. On top of that, Toucan's team has been really helpful to help us during the onboarding process.

Nachteile:

While there is a no-code interface to prepare data, there was still a learning curve to be at ease with data models to get the right datasets to feed the dashboards. It took me a few days to be really at ease with Toucan's capabilities.

It sometimes feel like the performance in pre-production could be enhanced

Good experience

Vorteile:

The customer success & onboarding team worked diligently to ensure that we could launch before our deadline. Moreover, the development team made necessary back end modifications to meet our requirements.

Nachteile:

Initially, creating reports was quite challenging due to the amount of code required. It was not an easy task for the average person. Fortunately, the product was improved over time, making the process much simpler and allowing us to be more independent with our reports.

An excellent app!

Vorteile:

A fantastic app that has allowed us to save a LOT of time and headache.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the UI is a little bit counter intuitive but very rarely.

Vorteile:

La disponibilité sur tous les supports - Mobile, tablette et PC. J'adore le fait que tout soit simple a utiliser et vraiment en 3 clics. Je ne connaissais pas le concept de datastorytelling et cela me simplifie mes usages data. J'utilise même l'embed pour mettre des indicateurs en plus dans mes systèmes de yield management.

Nachteile:

Pour le moment rien à dire. Je connaissais PowerBi et Tableau mais beaucoup trop peu utilisés par les équipes.

Don't worry...choose an effective product

Kommentare: Finally, and this is not something to be overlooked: the product evolves frequently while remaining stable. The customer support model during the deployment of the solution is a strength in which the Toucan teams are investing in order for the project to be a success. It's not that common to be noticed. Except of course when you are ready to spend a fortune on the services of an integrator with no guarantee of obtaining similar quality.

Vorteile:

Ease of integrating data from Oracle or SQL Server databases, simplicity of building stories to deliver KPIs, dashboards or any other support suitable for developing reflections, Toucan is the tool that saves us precious time!

Nachteile:

Customer support is excellent in terms of responsiveness and quality. The technical teams are also very efficient and available. On the customer support side: they are always ready to help you put your ideas into action.On the development side: they are at your disposal and do not hesitate to ask you to put interesting ideas into their product plan!Sorry but I have a hard time finding anything negative after two years

Bien plus qu'un outil de datavisualisation

Vorteile:

Les fonctionnalités les plus intéressantes :- La HOME PAGE : permet d'avoir un aperçu très rapide des données + la connexion que ces tuiles ont avec les STORIES- La possibilité de documenter les données affichées (glossaire, légende, titre...)- Le VQB : le VQG permet de créer des dataset complexe à partir de simple dataset- La fluidité : adapté à un public néophytes en data- Le data storytelling - Le design

Nachteile:

Les inconvénients :- L'outil est très bien adapté à des utilisateurs néophytes, mais la conception d'une outil nécessite certaines compétences- Le PDF report

Toucan : Efficacité des viz, Souplesse et réactivité des équipes, outil en constante évolution

Vorteile:

Multi Supports, fonctionne sur n'importe quel device. Simple d'utilisation. Des présentations (viz) qui obligent à restituer l'info essentielle. La réactivité, souplesse et l'évolution constante de l'outil. La simplicité pour mettre en production une app.la réactivité du support, l'accompagnement à tous les niveaux sont, on peut le dire, exceptionnels. Jamais vu ça auparavant dans ma vie professionnelle avec les autres fournisseurs d'outils de développement ou d'outils BI.

Nachteile:

la gestion administrativement parlant des groupes & utilisateurs est trop basique. pas de liste simple d'utilisateurs par groupe et à l'inverse pas de liste de groupes simples pour un utilisateur.ces données sont accessibles uniquement (et à ma connaissance) que par les formulaires de saisie.

Une expérience utilisateur validée

Vorteile:

Les équipes sont à l'écoute et professionnelles. La solution propose de nombreuses fonctionnalités qui rendent accessible à tous la lecture d'indicateurs.

Nachteile:

En tant qu'administratrice, j'aimerai un écran plus lisible pour mieux voir où sont utilisées les données importées (revue de pipeline).

Vorteile:

L'ergonomie : navigation fluide, vizz modernes et la facilité de manipulation des données

Nachteile:

La gestion des versions des apps avec un retour arrière impossible

Un outil clé en main

Kommentare: Un très bon rapport qualité prix, une équipe support aux petits soins et un outil convivial

Vorteile:

L'intégration avec Toucan s'est faite naturellement et très simplement. Outil facile à prendre en main même pour des profils technophobes. Les graphiques animés ont un effet "waouh".

Nachteile:

Nous souhaiterions intégrer des modules de simulation

Toucan is great for generating reports and BI

Kommentare: Today it is a fundamental part of our organization when it comes to data. Reports and BI are generated weekly and presented to the entire team.

Vorteile:

Generates satisfying reports with rich details; Performs data analysis masterfully; The dashboard is a very positive and attractive point, it brings a sense of modernity; Access to any type of stored data is effective, as is access to important company indicators that need to be accessed at any time quickly.

Nachteile:

When we started using the tool, we had problems generating some reports that over time did not become a problem anymore; The price is a little high if you compare it with some other tools on the market.

Awesome application with which we can bring insights to users on many different places.

Kommentare: It took some time to implement our very specific usecase: to send users from our community portal to toucan to view their benchmark results. But it worked out nicely and there were almost no obstacles we could not take with the help of the support

Kommentare: Thanks to Toucan's technology, leveraging complex data analysis and making it accessible to other business leaders is now possible .... creating value and engagement !

Vorteile:

The simplicity of the experience is incredible. Toucan is perfectly positionned for the non-analysts, and those who only have a few minutes to access and understand what's going on in their business.

Nachteile:

I would rather have a more visual data transformation piple line but the Python integration is really apreciated for the big data analytics.

Ce que je préfère chez Toucan c'est principalement la flexibilité de l'outils et l'interface facile d'utilisation.

Nachteile:

Si je devais relever un point plus négatif ca serait certaines limitations techniques

Nachteile:

Il faut savoir où on va et garder l'histoire de l'app, le risque étant de rendre l'app lourde et difficile à lire.Il faut maitriser les données importées.

Facile à prendre en main et beau rendu

Kommentare: Après une période d'acclimatation à la manière de faire Toucan, il est simple de déployer ses connaissances pour créer stories et dashboard rapidement.

Vorteile:

YouPrep est très facile à prendre en main et très puissant. La visualisation de données dans les stories et dashboards donne de beaux rendus.

Nachteile:

La navigation dans les différentes sources de données est parfois compliqué.

Très bel outil, partenaire de confiance, et des utilisateurs contents

Kommentare: Très bonne expérience, équipe réactive et créative, supports de tous les instants, et une très belle restitution de tous nos indicateurs et outils d'intelligence économique
