It's Bloomin Perfect!

Kommentare: I think I covered most of this above, but to wrap it up, by using Details, it has allowed me to use my time more wisely. As a business owner, you wear many hats. I think that Details is a great asset to my company and plan to use it for many years to come.

Vorteile:

My Favorite things about Details list: TIME MANAGEMENT- For 17 years, I used an excel spreadsheet to develop each quote. I was not efficient, and quite time consuming. Details software allows you to create a "recipe" by simply dragging and dropping the stems that you would like in each recipe. It's not only great for building the visual quote but you have the capability of pricing each individual stem, so once the recipe is done, your cost and retail price has already been calculated and entered into the stem counter document. It is simply revolutionary. It has saved me many hours through the years that I have been using this program. Costs Awareness- As I mentioned above, each stem is already priced by you. So once the recipe has been put together, it not only shows you what your cost is, but in a separate column, it shows you what you should be charging based on your mark up. This has FORCED me to see how I was unvalueing my work FOR YEARS. I showed a 12.5% increase in profits in my first year of using DETAILS. That is a HUGE amount of my blood, sweat, and tears that I was simply giving away without even realizing. Increased sales- This one is very simple. I am constantly being told by my brides that they were so impressed with the professional, detailed quote that they received from me. It makes them feel more confident with my quotes over my fellow competitors that are still doing hand written quotes with no images, and very little detail.

Nachteile:

I have been with Details for approx 3.5 years. I started with them in the beginning and have gone through many painful updates, but I would do it all over again because then end result has seriously IMPROVED THE QUALITY OF MY LIFE! I have been a wedding floral designer for 21 years and this has been wonderful. They have integrated so many functions into this program that I love. 1. You can request quotes directly through the program 2. Stem Counter 3. Presentation 4. Costs Page is wonderful to see where you are at budget wise.

Business Saver

Vorteile:

I love the organization I get from using Details-I had too many tabs open for each inquiry I was quoting for. Complete Chaos. This helped me gather everything and then send out amazing proposals which I receive constant positive comments about. I actually book more events using Details. I also LOVE the communication and emails I receive with tips and new features.

Nachteile:

Wish there were more template options that didn't cost extra. Also, if there was a way I could have my branding fonts incorporated.

Floral review

Kommentare: I like this software but it couldn’t use updating. The floral reference photos are not good quality at all, and it’s a shame being that this is a floral industry software.

Vorteile:

It is presented very professionally and nice to see all accounts and stages of booking process.

Nachteile:

Lack of good photos available for use instead of me having to upload each one. Lack of auto-saving capabilities. Lack of ability to include more than one reference/inspiration photo for a specific item.

Details Flower Review

Kommentare: I honestly could go either way. Like I said, I do love the look once everything is together, but I feel like some of the design features need tweaking. I previously used Canva to create mood boards and I loved the flexibility it provided.
With all of that being said, your customer service is absolutely amazing and I've never left a call feeling like my issues weren't resolved.

Vorteile:

I love that my proposal and contract are all in one place. It makes it so easy for my client to sign. The proposal looks nice and is easy for my client to follow.

Nachteile:

Many of the stock photos are pixelated, so I am constantly having to upload my own (which takes more time). When designing the cover page of my proposal, I wish the software allowed you to crop photos because I am spending a lot of time trying to find a photo to fit in the spaces provided

Success is in the Details

Kommentare: I have had a positive experience with Details. It's well worth the investment. The best aspect of Details of all though is the customer service, from the tutorial videos to being able to identify issues. The team is responsive and trouble shoots quickly.

Vorteile:

Details is a very good program that all in one allows you to create stunning proposals, load up recipes and create back end schedules for delivery. It's fabulous having all of it in one place.

Nachteile:

Details is short sighted. It is not really set up for shop work, and yet it lacks in the complexity and variety of events. Not every florist takes only one wedding. Many of us take several. Some of those events are corporate. There is not reflection of that in the program. Not all weddings have a bride and a groom. Not all events have personal flowers. These assumptions make Details look a little simple...

The Details software has been a game changer.

Kommentare: Details has created a customer facing product that I am able to customize to compliment my brand. This product provides a visual representation of our potential clients vision. It has increased my conversion rate substantially.

Vorteile:

The customizable proposal is absolutely stunning and my clients are WOW’d by it each and every time. I am so very pleased with the software. It has been a game changer for my business.

Nachteile:

There are only two items that I would love to see added:1. The ability to add a link to the bottom of the forms page to allow potential clients to book their styling consultation after they complete the consultation form2. I would like to be able to send the proposal and invoice links in a customizable email

Beautiful Proposals

Kommentare: I feel much more confident submitting proposals to my clients!

Vorteile:

The finished product is absolutely gorgeous and certainly helps clients commit to booking due to it's eye catching proposal package! I also love being able to add our rental inventory and additional items in the item gallery. I do wish it took fewer steps to add items but it's nice to have such a high level of customization.

Nachteile:

Integration with invoicing has been difficult. It also takes many steps to finalize the proposal. On average it takes me three to four hours from start to finish, which can be daunting. I'm sure there are ways to streamline the process. My next step is to search for tutorials to help make this a faster process. Something that would be helpful would be an integrated inquiry format that transferred the inquiry form on our website into a client profile. It seems like many things that could be a one or two click fill in when finalizing the proposal takes many repeated steps. I'm sure I'm not running the software as efficiently as I could be. I'll be looking into that in the future.

Attractive and Streamlines

Kommentare: Great, great, great. I chose details because it had the most attractive interface for clients with the best ease of use for me on the back-end. I am confident that in time the "cons" I have (which are really only related to uploading more images) will be something that is addressed and included within the software. I am very happy with the software and am excited to see how this helps business run more smoothly during the busy months.

Vorteile:

I love how easy it is to build recipes and auto-populate an order. The final proposal that goes out to the client is attractive and looks very personalized which was a "must-have" for me being in a design field. I know they are developing more template options also, so this is exciting. The software feels intuitive and is very easy to understand and use. Each time I produce a proposal it gets easier and easier and I am confident this will save a lot of time. I love how easy building a recipe is; I used to build them at the end before ordering but building them out from the get go will help significantly in the busier months. I am new to the software but so far I am so so impressed and happy I chose Details. The customer service support I've received when figuring out the software has been friendly, attentive and knowledgable.

Nachteile:

There is only space to upload 1 inspiration photo per item; I would love the functionality to add more than one as this is necessary often to communicate design concepts. Also more font and proposal template options but I know that is in the works. Really the only con for me is the limited inspiration images you can upload (I have found some "hacks" to do this....like loading into the "items" photo area where recipe item photos are, but the images are very small and this does not show as well). Currently I am sending an additional PDF to clients if need be, but again, it would be ideal if this was all rolled into the software (or at least I could upload the PDF into the software so all client files are truly in one place).

La Luna Florals

Kommentare: It’s been okay, we are however, thinking about going back to HoneyBook to have finances and client proposals and information all in one place.

Vorteile:

I like the organization on the events list, being able to manage financial on individual accounts, and the proposal set up.

Nachteile:

The cost per proposal template and the software is pretty high, especially when seeing other higher end florists use canva for their proposals.

Details Has Saved Me So Much Time!!!

Kommentare: I really am saving more time that ever and I am much more confident when sending out my proposals. Before Details I was often worried that I was leaving out a page, or a cost sheet. With this software everything is always there! I also love having the ability to have clients sign their contracts and pay online, avoiding the "check is in the mail" excuse.

Vorteile:

Using this software has saved me so much time, and the more that I use it the more time I am able to save since my past "floral recipes" are saved for future use. The software produces gorgeous imagery, that makes selling our products and designs easy!

Nachteile:

From time to time there are a few tech issues to work out (mainly during "updates"), but to be honest this is the way all businesses seem to operate in today's marketplace. The time saved and the beautiful estimates that you are able to produce make the few tech issues easily tolerated. I'd rather work with software that occasionally updates and attempts to make things easier for their users then one who doesn't try at all.

Wedding Florist's Best Friend

Kommentare: Details has absolutely increased my sales, profit margins, and professional image, while decreasing teh amount of time and headache spent on the back end of the business (pricing, recipe creation, inventory, etc).

Vorteile:

Details makes pricing, recipe creation, planning, inventory management, ordering - all time consuming aspects of the back end of floral designing - super easy! It saves time & money. It is super easy to use. The proposals created by this software have increased my sales, as they are beautiful & professional. They are continually updating and improving features, with excellent communication & customer service.

Nachteile:

It is time consuming to get items input & saved appropriately, but they have been improving this by partnering with industry leaders and providing more items themselves. It would be nice to be able to remove & replace a certain item from all recipes in one worksheet, instead of having to go through and replace the item in each individual recipe.

This has made all the difference!

Kommentare: We used to do our wedding quotes in a word document and create an order in an excel spreadsheet. I had been referred to Details for a few months but kept balking at changing how we did things until I talked to Customer support! I can not explain how much this program has changed how we do things. Quotes used to take me hours to craft which now only take a half and hour and they look even better than I could imagine. Ordering couldn't be easier, its essentially two to three clicks on my computer and the order is sent directly to my wholesaler. I never have to worry about accidentally leaving an item off of an order again. Details even keeps track of our rental inventory and allows me to see how many of a container or decor item we need each weekend. To be completely frank, Details is so easy to use that I whipped up 2 wedding quotes less than 4 hours after my youngest son was born, while I was still in the hospital!

Vorteile:

Its so easy to use, its beautiful (Brides are always telling me how pretty their quotes are), they are constantly evolving to better serve their clients.

Nachteile:

I was scared of change at first and it takes some practice to get used to creating the right quote for your client but once you get the hang of it it couldn't be any easier.

Details Elevating My Small Business

Kommentare: Details has elevated my business and brought it to the next level. It has made my business more professional and with it, I have booked more weddings and overall made more of a profit. My clients rave about the proposals and visually, it's much easier for them to see what their wedding day will look like with their flowers. It's saved me time and well worth the investment.

Vorteile:

Hands down the proposal generation. It has been a game changer to my business in that all my clients rave about how pleasing it is to look at. They appreciate that each item is broken down by price, that they can see what flowers and greenery will be used in each item and that all the information is in one place, including pricing breakdown, due dates for payments, etc. I love the stem counter - it helps to ensure I don't over or under buy which ultimately saves me money and increases my profit. I also love the invoice generator and that clients can pay directly from the invoice after the receive it. I used to use Quickbooks before I had Details and it was such a pain and took extra time to have to generate a separate invoice and include all of the information.

Nachteile:

There is a learning curve which take a bit to get used to how everything works, but the online classes, articles and customer support is amazing if you take the time to seek these out. It also takes some time to build out your recipes, but after that, things go pretty quickly when putting a proposal together. Details is implementing new upgrades and changes which has made the software overall easier to navigate in the few years I've had it.

Love this Software

Kommentare: Mainly I like having all my recipes/events in one area - but I have had that with other software as well - so not alot different as far as solving anything - but I think this company is a better quality company.

Vorteile:

it has the stem counting / costing / ordering features I need with a beautiful proposal and a reasonable price. Customer service is responsive. No surprise up charges like my last software.

Nachteile:

Client relationship management is very limited - I currently use another software in conjunction for this. and Accounting /reporting options are very limited - I also use other software for this as well. Something as simple as a report of where all my leads come from does not work here.

Nothing. Any time we encounter something we need Details seems to come out with a solution. And their customer support questions is unparalleled.

Life Changing Software

Kommentare: It has helped increase our sales and our productivity. Our business is a visual business, our clients LOVE seeing what they are getting prior to their event. Our staff loves seeing what we are producing. In general it's software made for event florists and boy did we NEED it. Oh and I am pretty sure it is a WOMEN owned and operated business, so thats awesome too.

Vorteile:

The visual "proposal" that is produced is a real game changer. The recipe formats and "documents" based on the proposal help you prepare orders and production lists in minutes , NOT hours. Overall it is a huge time saver once up and running. Time is money, so it's really helped us streamline our processes and keep on track with costs.

Nachteile:

Details is best and most effective once your "items" and "recipe" libraries are built to your needs. This requires you to organize and add your custom items. However, the support team is CONSTANTLY offering really helpful workshops and on line tutorials. In addition, the support help online is TOP NOTCH, I've never had a support department respond so quickly.

Details Is Our Best Salesperson

Kommentare: Details has streamlined my business and helped with the increased sales. Clients love their proposals and the fact that they can see everything in one document. We also love how easy it is to update a client's order.

Vorteile:

With Details we can easily create proposals and customize them to our clients. Changes to the templates and individual proposal are easy. Creating recipes is easy as well and just as customizable.

Nachteile:

Setting dates and times in the system is clunky. The calendar doesn't come up on the current year so you scroll down for a date if it's in the next year and setting times is a scroll down as well. We also don't like the delivery document as it's hard to read and confirm.

This software saved my flower business.

Vorteile:

Details is visually appealing, the layouts are lovely for clients and help organize visual images for the look of each event. The best part is the backend which makes cost-control and ordering a breeze. I can look and see what my overall purchasing cost will be, where I can make adjustments to avoid overbuying of flowers, inventories for rentals, and it puts out a nice, easy-to-follow recipe sheet for the workroom. Definitely designed by a florist and by having it all there (contract, mood board, payment processing) helps me run my small business and the 100+ events that happen each year.

Nachteile:

The one thing I don't like is that it has just a tad too much customization for weddings that make it awkward for corporate or non-profit clients' events. It also took a great deal of time to input all of the components (flowers, prices, items), but once input, not too hard to keep up.

Love this software! Makes wedding proposals so much faster.

Kommentare: At first I was very intimidated by the program but once I was in it everything became faster and easier. That’s the name of the game. How fast can I whip out this proposal but stilll have an end product that sells my ideas for me.

Vorteile:

I love that you are able to create a one of a kind proposal that perfectly fits any size wedding or any style event. So fast and so easy but looks like you spent hours doing it.

Nachteile:

I don’t love saving so often. I would love to be able to pop between the worksheet and resource guide without having to stop and save.

Details changed my life!

Vorteile:

Creating a custom proposal with details changed my whole design process and the way that I interact with my customers! My clients love so many things about their proposal including detailed descriptions of all the line items, flowers that I will use and the beautiful presentation on the first two pages. I can now sell higher end items and create lasting impressions for personals, ceremony and reception. My favorite thing about the software is that you can create your recipes so far in advance, this has helped me with time management, ordering and making margin.

Nachteile:

The details team really cares about your feedback and others! They are constantly making changes to the software and I love getting the updates and tutorials about the advancements that they have made. The only thing I didn't like, is that I had to save the proposal every time and couldn't make changes to the terms in the contract, but they recently changed that!

Time saver

Kommentare: I am able to see the exact of cost of everything I'm using to built my designs. Before using details, I had to do that all by hand and items would be forgotten, mark up not right, etc. I love knowing that what I'm proposing to my clients is exactly what I need to charge. I love having a professionally built proposal to give to my clients with every little detail of their event.

Vorteile:

I have been using Details for 2 years and I love it. I am able to present professional proposals to my clients with so much details. From having the inspiration pictures the client has sent me to showing every single flower being used is so wonderful! My clients love it!

Nachteile:

Would like to be able to add on multiple delivery sites to the delivery documents

Love writing proposals because of Details!

Kommentare: I have been using Details software since 2018 and have really not had a problem. The little hiccups that I have had the support staff has been on top of the problem.

Vorteile:

I like the setting up my own recipes. The look and being able to change templates for different Brides. All the info that the Bride sees when they get their proposal.

Nachteile:

I would love to be able to see the address where the flowers will be delivered to, not just the venue location. My Brides really get confused by that little tid bit.

Details has changed the way we do business...for the better!

Vorteile:

This software allows us to show our couples what the flowers look like, giving them a great visual and understanding of the overall look. It does all the pricing for us! Although it takes me a bit of time upfront (I'm still a little slow at it...) it saves me SO much time on the back end it's unreal! Plus no more calculation errors. And more profit!! Our couples love it as well, and I have closed many sales without ever meeting the couples... Customer service is fantastic! They take note of your suggestions, and even tell you if your ideas are already in the works.

Nachteile:

At first, it seemed a little "buggy" with odd things happening. But as time has gone on, those issues are few and far between.
