Nachteile:

Teilweise lassen sich Texte in Nuclino nicht gut formatieren.

Vorteile:

Dank Nuclino nutzen wir nur noch eine Plattform für unser internes Wissensmanagement. Wichtige Dokumente wie unser Mitarbeiterhandbuch oder Richtlinien zur Büroorganisation sind zentral verfügbar und für alle Mitarbeiter jederzeit abrufbar. Als Unternehmen mit einer hybriden Arbeitskultur ist dies für uns ein großer Vorteil. Besonders beeindruckt waren wir von der intuitiven Handhabung beim Anlegen und Verwalten neuer Projektboards.

Nachteile:

Bis jetzt war nichts an Nuclino enttäuschend oder schwer zu verstehen.

Perfect for project management!

Kommentare: Great experience overall, would definitely recommend if you're looking for a simple and easy to use project management / knowledge base system.

Vorteile:

I really enjoy how simple and easy to use Nuclino is! If you have a small to mid size team, this is a great solution to project management and even further than that, a knowledge base, asset base and more. Clean design, simple features, just great all around.

Nachteile:

It lacks some features such as being able to sum a column in a table, but hopefully in time things like that will be added as others find use for something like that.

An useful tool

Easy to understand user interface. Can create various useful pages in the same workspace. Can also easily collaborate with others.

Nachteile:

The search feature sometimes doesn't work smoothly.

Disappointing Experience with Nuclino for Document Hosting and Team Collaboration

Vorteile:

One positive aspect of Nuclino that I appreciated was how easy it was to use. The interface is intuitive and simple, making it easy to navigate and find what I needed. Additionally, the drag-and-drop features for adding images to documents were helpful and convenient. Overall, I found the software to be user-friendly and straightforward to integrate into my workflow.

Nachteile:

My biggest complaint about Nuclino is the lack of transparency about its pricing structure. The fact that the Standard plan only allows for two users and any additional users require an extra fee was not made clear before I subscribed. I also found it frustrating that I did not receive the promised two-week free trial with my subscription. Another issue was the inability to make an entire workspace public and the need to make every item public individually, which was time-consuming and resulted in non-functional item links. Additionally, the absence of a messaging or chat feature within Nuclino made team communication outside of the platform necessary. Finally, the cost of the service was too high for a simple document hosting service, and the lack of additional features did not justify the price.

Nuclino is Knowledge Management that Doesn't get in your Way

Kommentare: The main reason to use Nuclino is that it is an overall well-designed piece of software that doesn't get in your way. It may lack in certain features, but the point of Nuclino is not to be overloaded with features. It is just a simple and effective way to store information, and it works very well as that.

Vorteile:

1. Nuclino is very easy to write and edit on - the text editor functions are simple yet effective 2. Nuclino is very simple to understand - there aren't pages and pages of menus and endless functions. It cuts down a knowledge base to what is required 3. Nuclino is reasonably priced 4. The graph view is a great piece of design

Nachteile:

1. The list view can be confusing to understand and click through, especially when you have many different sub folders. It is hard to get an idea for where you are in the folder structure when compared to, say, Windows File Explorer. 2. Moving items around in different folders can be frustrating when you have to drag them a lot with the mouse 3. Trying to edit hyperlinks can be annoying when right clicking brings up the normal right-click windows menu and double clicking to try to edit in Nuclino just clicks on the link

Incredibly well designed

Kommentare: I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the design of this platform. I like the fact it is independent and is 'pure' in what it does.

Vorteile:

I don't know where to start. I knew what I wanted being a well designed platform that we could build our knowledge on. There are many solutions and either they are part of another solution or overly complex. The design of this platform is incredibly well thought out. It was not easy for me to find during my research, seems to fail to hit many of the top review sites. But when I used it I instantly knew this was 'the one'. And my team loves it.

Nachteile:

There is nothing I dislike about Nuclino.

Nuclino as a Confluence alternative

Knowledge management for Big Data and Analytics in Infrastructure

Kommentare: An easy-to-use knowledge management system.

Vorteile:

The ability to start writing straightaway, insert diagrams, collaborate easily with colleagues, and insert mathematical formulas.

Nachteile:

When a page is structured to have sub-pages, you can write anything on that 'parent' page.

Easy to use and packed with features

Kommentare: It's very intuitive and for the purpose of writing my GDD it was extremely useful. Great product.

Vorteile:

The graph feature makes it very easy to navigate! an the AI side-kick is awesome.

Nachteile:

The lack of more traditional PM tools like a Ghantt Chart

Kommentare: I enjoyed trying out the tool, and am bow considering making it my main solution for project management. I like the cKean interface, it may not have all the functionalities other tools have, but that makes it faster to learn and more efficient.

Vorteile:

Simple yet powerful interface. No bells and whistles that could distract the user or make you spend hours understanding how it works. It's quite intuitive and I like the fact that you can organize your project in a folder and sunflowers way, plus have an overview as a mindmap.

Nachteile:

Would be nice to localize the software in other common languages for non English speakers. Also to easily create progression status for tasks, in a native manner ?

Fantastic Secure Documentation Platform

Multi platform secure access to our documentation.

Nachteile:

Nothing really; integration with our Dropbox platform would be useful but not critical.

Nuclino: The Tool Your Team Needs for Knowledge Organization

Vorteile:

Many users find Nuclino's user interface to be intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to create and organize content.

Nachteile:

Some users have found that Nuclino's formatting options can be somewhat limited compared to other document editing tools.

A powerful yet simple to use knowledge management tool

Kommentare: Nuclino is valuable tool either you are working alone or with a team as it fulfills the need to have all your information from SOPs to metting minutes and all sorts of documents organized and easily accessible.

Vorteile:

When juggling several projects and gathering substantial amounts of information from various sources and collaborators, it can become overwhelming fairly quickly. Nuclino offers the tools to organize, map, and manage all your content, enabling you to navigate visually through it. This way, you can focus on the areas that require the most attention. The AI sidekick and integrations with the most common tools are a definite plus.

Nachteile:

It takes a while to get used to the workflows of the platform but after getting used and define a workflows the work gets streamlined.

One of the best for product management!

Kommentare: My team and I have been using Nuclino for some time now, and since we're in the game development industry, Nuclino I would have to say is best for game design documents (GDDs) and critical note taking and research. So far with my experience personally, I haven't anything really bad to say about Nuclino; its functionality for me is 10/10; as I said in the con's though, its a little bit expensive for the premium features so make sure you can afford it!That being said, its great for teams and studios of any size so I highly recommend!

Vorteile:

> Easy to use!> Quick to learn its functionality> Able to invite team members as admins or viewers> Content is really easy to organise> Free trial not too limiting> Adding users to moderate/edit the Nuclino pages is not too expensive> Can tag/hyperlink to other tabs on the same Nuclino page (as well as tag users).> Multiple available integrations, such as Google Drive and Microsoft Teams.

Nachteile:

> Price is a LITTLE dare on the premium version; make sure you or your team can afford it, especially if you want to add multiple users to the workspace.> Mobile version is a little buggy/glitchy. My experience with the bugs was that when I was checking off a checklist, the spacing between the lines went spastic, and made that page very unorganised, so I recommend the computer version over the mobile one until that's fixed.

If You Got Hit by a Bus

Kommentare: I have been very pleased with Nuclino for its functional performance, its team’s openness to new concepts, and its teams continuing feature expansion. It does what it says it does, and is easy to work with the whole way through.

Vorteile:

Nuclino has allowed us to quickly and easily scale a knowledge base for a complex public company. Now instead of having to answer the same question over and over or instead of scratching our heads to remember how we did something in the past, we can point to or find the information in Nuclino.

Nachteile:

It would be nice to get more of the analytics and adoption/participation metrics from any Lino without having to subscribe to a higher subscription tier. The templates they offer are good, but they don’t necessarily offer a “stupid simple” “just do it this way” standard setup (that I know of).

Easy but powerful

Kommentare: I am very impressed with the software so far and happy with my choice of product.

Vorteile:

I chose Nuclino for its integration with AirTable, but I am impressed with its ease of use and capacity for both secure access and public pages.

Nachteile:

So far I have not found anything missing from the application.

Mostly a rant about Nuclino

Kommentare: It was good, I will probably use Nuclino as a journal, but Notion can do that as well.

Vorteile:

— The animation of the to-do checkmark is satisfying.— You can change the knowledge database into a mind map graph.

Nachteile:

— Full text search only looks for title pages.— No simple way of adding reminders to tasks.— No Inline Databases like in Notion

Everything works like magic. It really helps to use this software.

I think we could use some group features.

Excellent balance between Ease-of-use and functionality

Kommentare: We use it as a company Wiki as well as for a very complex and highly inter-linked ISO 27.001 documentation. Works great for both.

Vorteile:

The ease of use and the consistent but well-enough style features to avoid indiscriminate style mixes

Nachteile:

It needs a little curating when working with larger teams. But that is easy to accomplish.

Use of Nuclino for Engineering Documentation

Kommentare: I have started working with Nuclino on the design of an electric racecar. Here, we were asked to document all of our design steps in Nuclino, from the conceptual design to the actual calculations. I had quite some difficulties with some programs used within the team, but with Nuclino, everything was so simple. Creating new items and writing was really intuitive, as well as the integration of screenshots and how the dimensions of an image can be adapted automatically to look best within the document. As I have had such a positive experience, I proposed using Nuclino to the team I am in charge of now. Here we design drones for societal benefits, and we use Nuclino for all of our documentation. This documentation includes design choices, as well as python plots, or screenshots from softwares, or softwares setup guides. As we have divided the design in subdepartments, Nuclino also makes it easy to check everything that is being written in each subdepartment. There are multibple ways of seeing how the documentation is organised - a plain table, or a graph. We use Slack for communication, and Nuclino integrates nicely, so that notifications are carried across two platforms.

Vorteile:

The main benefit of Nuclino is its ease of use. We switched from OneNote to Nuclino because OneNote was not intuitive nor easy to organise. Nuclino is easy to organise, so that documentation can be easily grouped, and new items are added simply by clicking on a plus. It is also very easy to add images (using ctrl C even) as well as making tables, and it supports many apps integrations. We use Teams, and we integrated it well. The possibility to make comments on items also increases the thought sharing process within the team. Nuclino also has a much more pleasant user interface than any other site I have used. Another useful feature is the math integration: simple calculations in maths can be directly solved in Nuclino, by writing the operation and then inserting the = sign - and Nuclino will automatically give the result! This is useful to us when we are showing our raw thought process - everything is clear and connected.

Nachteile:

We mainly use Nuclino for documentation, therefore there are no missing apps integrations as of now, however it could be useful if we could integrate Excel as well - for now only Google Sheets can be used.
