Vorteile:
Es ist intuitiv, universell und einfach.
Nachteile:
Um flüssig zu arbeiten, benötigt man ein richtig guten Rechner.

Lightweight, Easy to use Rapid 2D Drafting Software
Kommentare: I have been using AutoCAD for 5-6 years and it has been good experience. The learning curve of the software is non-steep and after learning few commands become intuitive. Mostly used the conversion feature from PDF to DWG which works great but however there is still room for perfection.
Vorteile:
Great 2D Drafting software. Helps to quickly check and verify ideas using 2d elevation, plan etc. Used it extensively during tower crane erection and dismantling preparation for the creation of scheme drawings. Favourite Feature - PDFIMPORT. Best part - keyboard commands shortucts which differentiates it from other CAD applications.
Nachteile:
The cost is very high. Unsustainable for an individual to acquire. Had used it on student and organizational license. The PDFIMPORT function can be improved - lots of information is turned to noise during conversion from PDF to DWG. Dimensions also get incorrectly scaled - maybe with the application of AI the conversion can be streamlined as this is one of the best feature.

Auto CAD: Efficiency and Accuracy
Kommentare: I loved to design though some of the tools were very complex. I found it a bit costly software while that time as myself being a student. The parametric design is one of the advantages of this software which not only saves your time but it reduces the chances of errors.
Vorteile:
Design the model in 2D and 3D with high level of accuracy.
Nachteile:
The software interface is little more complex and confusing to the beginners.

Kommentare: It has been great. I have been using this software since 2021 and upgraded to AutoCAD 2023 version last year and it has helped me work on my facility layout projects with ease and better use of the functional capabilities.
Vorteile:
the new updates on the AutoCAD are really easy to navigate through and understand even for first time users. I feel like the files have a better and faster interactive support which helps open them up faster.
Nachteile:
Still some glitches which causes me to close entire application before I can work back normally.

AutoCAD is an outstanding software package, the only downside is that as a premium product it does come at a high price, however this can be paid by subscription to help spread the cost.

Kommentare: AutoCAD has been a life changing experience for myself as I had so much fun with the detailing and accuracy of the line work. I also allows a flexible space in making inorganic shapes too ,not only a very geometric work space.
Vorteile:
AutoCAD has had the best features that allowed for me to be a more detailed draftsman . It has allowed for me to utilize tools that have made tons of my projects quicker compared to ,having used tools and hands.
Nachteile:
What I liked least about this software was the process of making 3D projects when I needed to use a software I was very well familiar with. It was also the size of the software , taking a lot of time to install.

As an advertising agency, We use AutoCAD mostly to create concepts of new products for our clients to study the feasibility of bringing them to the market.
Generally, our clients perceive the designs to be on the accurate side.
The process of managing the design from start to finish is highly streamlined in terms of assigning roles and quality control.
Vorteile:
The most important feature for us using AutoCAD is the high precision and detailed approach to making concepts and models for potential products to pitch to our clients. Even though we don't use this software as close to its full potential, it helped us convey ideas into realistic 3D models instead of pitching them in the form of words.
Nachteile:
I think the number one con for our particular use is the learning curve. We always needed 3rd party freelancers to assist with the projects. I think they can perhaps create a light version that requires less engineering knowledge and that has more features to assist with designs. Also, it can be hardware-demanding when dealing with rendering a complex design.

Kommentare: In the starting it felt really difficult to use but now when i knew it properly it became very easier as well as it is a very powerful tool. It is great for both 2D drafting and 3D modelling, though it can be a bit heavy on system resources.

Mission Critical Software for Landscape Architects
Kommentare: Fantastic, we have used AutoCAD for many years and can't be tempted away to any to another product.
Vorteile:
AutoCAD is the most important software in our workflow, and has been for the last 20 years, it is the standard drafting software in our industry and makes what we do happen!
Nachteile:
There's not much to report here, AutoCAD is a very powerful piece of software with vast functionality, we couldn't function without it, obviously is comes at a cost but in it is 100% worth it, as it gives us the tools we need to do our job.
Not your novice software.
Kommentare: I think AutoCAD is a very powerful tool. I use it to circuit and layout site plans for electrical equipment and feeders. I then import it into a Revit model for future design modifications, but otherwise it is a great program and critical to know how to use for engineering.
Vorteile:
AutoCAD allows a lot of creative freedom for starting a project from scratch, or importing another CAD file, or just plain old pdf.
Nachteile:
The controls for AutoCAD are so customizable and initially foreign from any other design program that it is very difficult to teach yourself exactly what you’re trying to accomplish. Example: keyboard shortcuts and select/deselect clicking.
AutoCAD:Best CAD Tool for 2D Drawings

AutoCAD doesn't have good 3D modeling capability as compared with Creo or SolidWorks. But it does have expceptinal drafting tools. Also, the complex interface makes it difficult to learn.

Nachteile:
if you are drawing multiple floor plan, and you want to change some common wall for all plan. you have to change all floor seperately. if i define the wall properties and change it on the background could be more useful.
After 22 years with autocad

Speed drawing with easy shortcuts ,it has many extensions and plot styles.
Nachteile:
Not having levels. Writing texts in some languages like Arabic,needs spacial fonts and a special way to write.
The most professional tool
Kommentare: I usually use AutoCAD when working with my team because this tool has allowed us to draw 2D house plans, as well as add more specific elements to the house for the client's convenience. After having the 2D plan, we move on to creating the 3D model of the house.

They are giving students free version. It will very helpful the academic work, in this period we can learn more about their software.
Nachteile:
Mosly need Internet if we use more than 30 days without Internet again we need to login.
