A product That's Developing Nicely

Kommentare: A very satisfied user. After checking out several content aggregation sites, I settled on UpContent because of the overall ease of use and their positive customer focus. I liked it so much I even opted to become a paying customer...:)

Vorteile:

Ease of use...and prompt responses to queries. I like how the team make you feel like you're a part of them and important to them. Suggestions are acted on quickly too. I love the integration with Hootsuite as well. Makes sharing so easy to do.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it's not as timely as it could be. The topics we post on (science specifically) has a lot of breaking stories that can take some time to populate through the feed. But having said that, it's improving all the time and it really isn;t much of a gripe.

Before I'm having hard time picking up new articles for our blogs, thanks to Upcontent every is good

Kommentare: Automate our workflows so we can focus on the more important task.

Vorteile:

We have been using upcontents to upload new blogs/articles for our main site as well as for our client websites. With little alterations from the original post, you can get your content up and ready in a couple of minutes. Using upcontent saves us a lot of time and resources by using their API we are able to fetch fresh data directly to our CMS and with a press of a button it will be saved as a new blog post. Isn't cool it?

Nachteile:

At first the filtering and featuring articles is a bit of a challenge since their are plenty of categories based on your niche.

not that easy to define parameters for finding sources

Kommentare: the opportunity to be up-to-date on the last news from the web, collect pages and article and categorize them for a better sharing

Vorteile:

one of the best shot is that you get visual and text together, you can categorize them and then share them

Nachteile:

pricing not very affordable for diy musician, indeed it would be very useful, as others aggregators, Its flow is more fluid than others

Great way to automate content curation

Kommentare: Great experience so far. I use it mostly to create RSS feeds that I plug into an automatic summariser which then I plug into my social media auto scheduler.

Vorteile:

I can easily get some of the best information from around the web and share it across multiple media channels all done automatically.

Nachteile:

The article search is sometimes a hit and miss so being able to select what is wanted and what is not wanted with upcontent remembering and learning from those selections who help.

Vorteile:

I love the way it finds relevant articles without making me sort though thousands of irrelevant ones so I get just the best of the best. I also think the customer service is second to none.

Nachteile:

I am waiting for integrations with other marketing automation tools - LOVE the hootsuite integration and I hope someday it works with Sharpspring seemlessly without the need for RSS.

Great content every time

Kommentare: The app is awesome, very easy to customize and use. I been using it for about a year an a half and it always gives me awesome results every single time.

Vorteile:

The options and easy of use make this app a must if you curate content for social media.

Nachteile:

Really the only con is probably that it's only in English, hopefully soon it will support different languages.

Good product, Great People Behind it

Kommentare: The nice part about these folks is they are literally all ears (and eyes) when a customer has suggestions. They are all into taking care of those who support them (customers) and you cannot ask for much more than that. I am actually thrilled I like their product and can support them. It is not every day you can personalize a business relationship with a SAAS company. Sign up with them and I will bet you will too. Really.

Vorteile:

The concept for this software is terrific, content curation automation. The ability to find stories to re-post or rewrite for us is invaluable. We have use this tool along with others, and have stopped using all of them except for UpContent and ScoopIt. That alone says a lot!

Nachteile:

This project is still pretty young and is growing, so we expect more features, usability UI tweaks and integrations as time goes on.

Awesome Service and Decent Customer Support

Vorteile:

The customer support is outstanding. The Ease of Access is Decent as well. The Articles are informative and easy to publish on social media sites. All and All a Great Service.

Nachteile:

The Price for the service is on the high-end. They also didn't offer the buffer service access which makes it easier to post to multiple social accounts. At least they didn't when I had used the services.

Why I like UpContent

Vorteile:

UpContent easily allows me to stay on top of what is happening in my industry and to push that content out to my clients and business partners on a variety of platforms. Their help in getting started makes it amazingly easy to adopt, and the simplicity of the platform makes it easy to stay up to date.

Nachteile:

Still figuring out best keywords. It's a reiterative process.

Great, a Very Useful Social Media Application!

Kommentare: A great time saver for scheduling social media posts as well as finding new content to post. I would recommend this application to anyone.

Vorteile:

Ease of Use and Relevant Content for weekly social media updates. Scheduling my updates to Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and so on is very easy.

Nachteile:

Nothing comes to mind. I have only encountered a problem once and UpContent customer support was able to resolve the issue almost immediately.

Vorteile:

Esta herramienta me ha ayudado a recopilar contenido genial y relevante para mi nicho. Lo mejor es que lo puedo configurar para que me muestre contenido actual o antiguo, así tengo más marge de maneobra a la hora de curar el contenido. Otro punto muy a favor de Upcontent, es la efectividad del soporte. Son receptivos y además que la plataforma incluye mucha documentación de apoyo.

Nachteile:

Hay algunos puntos en contra que debe mejorar, como hacer un poco más intuitivo los parametros para la investigación del contenido, aunque hicieron un actualización reciente y ve mucho mejor. También he notado que en el español, no son tan preciso los resultados como en inglés.

It's OK but not amazing

Kommentare: It works ok for me. I use it with Hootsuite in order to post information in my social media. The only problem that I have is that I have to login every time into upcontent within Hootsuite. The app within hootsuite could be improved.

Vorteile:

You can get easy content from the web regarding different topics.

Nachteile:

It could be more intuitive how to filter the information that you are looking for. It's not clear where they are getting the articles and information from. Sometimes I feel that the content could be more.

Amazing experience with UpContent: Top Editorial/Marketing tool for Curated Content

Vorteile:

Extremely easy to use, with always new updates and new features: UpContent offers everything you need for your strategic content marketing efforts.

Nachteile:

There's nothing special that I like least about UpContent. I've been using it for over 3 years, and I'm always satisfied with its results, in order to plan our daily schedule of editorial news, monitoring competitions, and distributing content news to the social media team.

Kommentare: Finding good, new content to share on our my socials is hard. UpContent definitely helps with that!

Vorteile:

-How many articles if sides through -The interface -the idea of the thing.

Nachteile:

-I wish the copy link button was a little more prominent. -Somestimes it links to dead articles. -no video or image function (that would be cool)

The platform expedited my content searches.

Kommentare: It has made researching and scheduling content an efficient, cost-effective endeavor now. The savings on time alone makes this a very worthwhile tool for us.

The broad resources to search for a topic and the ability to link Buffer's Pro scheduler to UpContent makes finding and scheduling content a breeze!

Nachteile:

It takes a bit of time to master how to make a good search topic, but with the help of the customer support staff, it has become easy.

Great news aggregator for social media

Vorteile:

Love being able to source interesting articles for our audience in an easy way using keywords and topics.

Nachteile:

Sometimes a little slow on my Chromebook.

I use upcontent on a weekly basis and it saves me a ton of time.

Vorteile:

I like the ability to link it to Hootsuite and schedule posts directly from within Hootsuite. UpContent saves me the time of looking for content to promote and integrates so I can use the Hootsuite scheduler.

Nachteile:

When setting up a search for content, it is not easy to edit it. It could be a little more intuitive to go in and edit current searches.

Perfect fit with personal profile and interest to create enticing stream of posts

Vorteile:

perfect match of presented posts with personal profile. i am interested in M&A and software ecosystems and the tool proposed just posts that fit these interests

Nachteile:

speed could be faster: sometimes the loading time for new proposed posts could be faster. could be because i am accessing upcontent from europe

The ultimate in content curation

Vorteile:

I have been looking for a product like this for years. I have tried others, but nothing matches up to Upconent. It finds articles, you can add via chrome extension, have them display on your website and a ton of ways to use the product can be found on their website.

Nachteile:

I had some issues with the HTML code and having the collection displayed on my website, and it is uncertain if it is an issue with Upcontent or where I host my website.

Great customer experience

Kommentare: I developed a query to run yesterday. It provided some results but nothing outstanding. I received an email today which gave me pointers on how to structure my query for optimal results. This customer experience email gave me the knowledge to update my query to get better results. Thanks!

Vorteile:

I love the integration in Hootsuite. It gives me the ability to review our industry and competitor news and develop topics to share.

Nachteile:

I have just began using the software, so I really don't have any cons.

UpContent has made it much easier to track and share articles about our companies.

Vorteile:

The customer support is hard to beat. I often get an answer to my questions within minutes, and if there's isn't an immediate answer, UpContent works to develop a solution and updates me when it's ready.

Nachteile:

Most of my initial concerns have already been addressed through updates to the software! It can be difficult to choose the correct search terms to get the articles you want, but the more you use it, the "smarter" it gets.

Love how easy it is to find relevant content

Vorteile:

The support is great, ease of use, and tutorials... we created a lot of various topics and lists to use and constantly find content to post

Nachteile:

When we first started using UpContent, it was difficult to find relevant content but found help from the administrators quickly.

UpContent Review

Vorteile:

Beyond easy to use, excellent content suggestions thanks me after time, the free version is far better than some paid solutions.

Nachteile:

I really can't think of any cons. It is hootsuite integration sometimes requires sign in more often than it should...but no big deal.

UpContent saves time and money and I would highly recommend this service.

Kommentare: I am able to find and post content that is related to my selected keywords in a more efficient manner. Since time is money this is a huge benefit!

Vorteile:

UpContent makes it easy to find articles that are related to my the keywords I selected and subsequently post those articles to the social media channel I select.

Nachteile:

There are occasional glitches where I am unable to adjust the date or time for a post. In addition, sometimes the content does not seem to refresh and if I go back in to post there are is no new content available.

Very useful tool that is far cheaper than the alternatives.

Vorteile:

UpContent provides similar functionality to the competition at a fraction of the cost. Makes finding content very easy. Lots of similar services I tried give you full access for hundreds of dollars a month without having cheaper options like this app.

Nachteile:

Some of the content found is simply ads of your competition. Need to be a bit careful with curating the content but its not a big deal
