Best tool for Outbound Email

Vorteile:

This is my main tool to send Outbound emails at scale. You can build powerful sequences combining Linkedin, emails and APIs (That you can send an SMS f.e).They are always improving the product and always building new features.Using the API really unblocks the next level of this and you can do cool stuff when you know someone clicked an email f.e.

Nachteile:

The integration with Hubspot could be better. It's constantly disconnecting leads that we import for a campaign through a hubspot list

Easiest bluk email tool for those with little experience

Kommentare: My team uses lemlist to run some of our email campaigns. Even though email outreach isn't our primary area, we were very quickly able to get to grips with it thanks to the simpe interface. All in all, it's a very simple but effective outreach tool

Vorteile:

I just love how simplistic the interface is. It's definitely ahead of its time in that aspect. It make sit very easy to quickly set up and track email campaigns.

Nachteile:

I found its features a bit lacking considering the price. I think it would be better if there were supplementary features added to make the email campaigns work more effectively. Namesly, the email validator, which costs extra for some reason

Great platform, great support

Kommentare: The application is really central to our outbound efforts and has helped us run multiple campaigns to reach target audiences we've previously found difficult to connect with. But their real asset is the support and guidance, continuously providing ideas and ways to improve. This have been really valuable.

Vorteile:

Application is really easy to use. Easy to personalise email messages and create follow ups to generate leads. Thery're continuously improving the platform and it's now easy to message linkedin contacts within each campaign. Data can imported directly from Linkedin or other sources and have features to ensure email addresses don't bounce.

Nachteile:

After an import, reviewing contacts can be time consuming especially in multi touch campaigns. I end up deleting emails deemed risky or undeliverable one by one as I haven't worked out how to filter them and skip a predefined batch.

Not fairly priced, yet the backbone is old technology (agency user with 10+ seats)

Kommentare: Due to how often they continually update the platform--and you would expect this to actually be a good thing but it's not--the UI will change and functionality you began to rely on working fast suddenly slows down considerably. They update their platform multiple times a week on the backend. It's like, just build it right the first time and let. it. be. It's not even adding new features it's just busy work. If you run more than 2 email addresses, you're an agency or you have 3 or more users, I suggest using a different platform, you'll get better functionality out of something like woodpecker.co or market.to then Lemlist and for a much more reasonable price. They don't even offer a discount on their $60/seat rate until you have had at least 20 seats.

Vorteile:

I liked that it was fairly quick to actually queue new campaigns on lemlist. I could duplicate a campaign, keep the settings and then just put in the sender and associate a list to it. As an agency using it, I found that was effective, though actually getting the settings I'd put in to take often required a lot of server lag.

Nachteile:

This was fixed but it took about 4 months to do it: how LONG it takes list changes to go into affect. If you for instance had 1k contacts you wanted to remove from a campaign, it would take 20-30 minutes for those to be removed. How poorly they integrated with HubSpot and Salesforce. Sure there was some integration but it required I learn ALOT about the platform to make it work as an agency. I had to make changes on HubSpot to tailor it to work with Lemlist and there is absolutely no automation interaction unless you use a third party software and even then Lemlist doesn't offer many triggers on zapier. Lemlist will throttle you into the ground as an agency if one of your domains has low deliverability the algorithm will stop them all I started sending 150-200 emails per day from each seat and before long it became 50 at most. Their pricing model is pretty insane really. Comparable software goes for half the price of Lemlist with better features and cross platform multi-channel integration. Support wasn't very helpful and very pushy for positive reviews of their support. I often was told whatever issue I had wasn't their responsibility to resolve or wasn't understood so my support requests would get escalated to their dev team who responded 3-4 business days later through the tech, not directly and the answer only rarely was actually salient to my issue so another message would have to be sent by me to clarify which took another 3-4 days.

My experience with Lemlist

Kommentare: It's a compelling platform to provide cold-emailing campaign to several clients.

Vorteile:

Easy to use and easy to integrate with other helpful platforms as Dropcontact or Sales Navigator.

Nachteile:

The setup of DMARC, CTD is not super intuitive.

Big fan of this tool. Offering an amazing degree of personaliziation

Kommentare: Lemlist was extremely helpful in personalizing outreach at scale. You get a lot for your money. Extra features like the pods or super fast customer service make this tool a no-brainer when it comes to cold outreach.

Vorteile:

Degree of personalization; bulk import & export functions; extremely helpful customer service (quick & effective responses)

Nachteile:

The only thing about this software which was not to rate five stars was the design (UI). Used light-grey and white elements were sometimes hard to find..

One of the best solutions for cold maling

Lemlist is good at simple cold mailing scenarios.

Nachteile:

When it comes to automation and complex scenarios, Lemlist is not so easy to adopt.

Lemlist Rocks!

Kommentare: Warming up campaigns is definitely one of the biggest wins. I love how you can still use lemwarm even after warming up a campaign to keep your inbox engaged and healthy. The statistics for lemwarm and many others make it very easy to keep your inbox happy and healthy. The dynamic images and pages definitely help break the normal boring messages that most of us have all received at some point. It creates a very personal touch even if it is automated. They amount of templates available straight out of the box, definitely helps someone get started.

Vorteile:

The ease and flow of the UI/UX is absolutely beautiful. Very Dynamic software and very creative with dynamic images and Landing Pages. One of the biggest things that brought me to the platform from using a different service is "Lemwarm" and the ability to automatically warm up your inbox before getting ready to launch a campaign. So many amazing features. There was definitely thought and intention with the entire platform to embody everything needed to launch a "cold" email campaign that doesn't feel so cold.

Nachteile:

Downsides? What downsides? ;) i definitely haven't found anything about the platform or Lemlist, that I don't love!

Favorite email solution

Vorteile:

Everything from the ease of use, the functionality, and the teams dedication to always making significant improvements to the product.

Nachteile:

The only issue I had was when I would load up prospects for a campaign and find there was an error, it was terribly difficult to fix that error. Thankfully, with a recent update, you can now rollback uploads which has saved me on more than one occasion.

I love this tool!

Kommentare: Lemlist is an easy solution to integrate my CRM with my email list while personalizing my campaigns. My CRM automatically gets filled with new leads, I write a personalized icebreaker message and the rest is done by Lemlist automatically.

Vorteile:

Lemlist was very easy to set up. I got my first campaign running within minutes. It supports my own server (using IMAP) and doesn't require a specific service. Also, the features it provides are really good for doing personalized campaigns - for example, I love being able to personalize the pictures I send to my subscribers. Also, the icebreaker feature has got me several important clients.I needed to contact the support once, but not for a bug but for something I didn't understand at first. Not only did they help me solve all of my problems, they also taught me how to order a beer in French!Awesome product by an awesome team!

Nachteile:

Lemlist isn't the biggest company and sometimes it shows, their documentation isn't always up to date or lacks minor details. Apart from that, I love Lemlist for what it is and wouldn't change a thing for now.

LemList - Making Cold Mail Outreach Fun

Kommentare: Overall, we had a great experience with LemList, albeit that for some inexplicable reason, our deliverability stats were lower using the same messaging and prospect targeting as we do with some of the other platforms we are using.

Vorteile:

Lemlist has a lot going for it as far as an Email Outreach platform is concerned. As far as outreach automation platforms are concerned, they are one of the better ones out there and some of the features such as reporting are better than their competitors, Woodpecker.co and Reply.io One of the most outstanding features that LemList has that we have not found in any other platform is the use of Liquid Syntax. Liquid Syntax allows you to build multiple version of an outgoing message by adding snippets that express what you are saying in slightly different ways. The Liquid Syntax then randomizes those snippets for each outgoing message, thus creating a new variant of the message so that no two outreach prospects receive the same message. In a world where spam filters eagerly search for copy-cat messaging, this is a game changer.

Nachteile:

We did find some of the features of the software a little gimmicky. The use of emojis and stuff is a bit "juvenile" and we didn't really see any benefit in using these emoji in our messaging sequences.

Great tool for lead gen

The A/B Testing feature is a little confusing

Kommentare: It is refreshing to have a tool which is not a burden but an actual tool that helps me do my job.

Vorteile:

First of all, the product does everything it says on the box and does it without any hiccups. It is also very clear that the team is working hard on it, improving it every day. I also have to mention the customer support which is the best I've seen in my life, personable, helpful.

Nachteile:

There are some minor improvements that could be made (and a major one (in my opinion)). I've shared this with their product manager so I'm sure they're on top of it. I also hear it's not the cheapest of tools (I don't handle the budget, but I've heard people complaining :)).

Great online SAAS to help with my email outreach and prospecting

Kommentare: It does exactly what I need it to in making campaigns while prospecting and allowing me to track everything.

Vorteile:

I like how simple and easy it is to use and understand. I have picked it up fast and begun making many campaigns sending emails while it tracks everything and even gives me a history log on what happened such as when the specific recipient opened the email etc. The image templates are good as well as you can send images with the recipient's name in and mass send them while Lemlist changes the name on each of the images. Great customer support should you need them answered any questions I had quickly.

Nachteile:

To be fair there is not really any Cons as it does what it says on the tin and more and is reliable and does everything I need it to do. If I had to be super picky I would say it just needs some borders around the sections to better separate the sections inside lemlist but this is not a big deal as once I'm using it I barely notice.

not the nicest support

Kommentare: ive been having an issue where i think my ip is blocked on their side so i cant connect any email to their service anymore but they dont seem to know whats happening. weve been on the case for days with my domain name provider and lemlist and its been established that lemlist has an issue but none can do anything. i then ask for a refund but they keep refusing or ignore the request. their service support isnt always available either during their working hours and if youve been talking to someone, none will actually take on your c ase, they'll just tell you to wait for the one whom youve previously dealt with.

Vorteile:

the tool is useful and user friendly it has nice functionalities but nothing can be done for you if your issue is IT related....

Nachteile:

the customer support that doesnt seem to know much about issues the tool has and are relieved when they think the problem isnt theirs and kinda tell you to bog off

Fully Featured with Great Customer Support

Vorteile:

Lemlist is a great email software package that keeps on getting better, quickly! They have a Facebook group that they are very responsive in and when they see a good idea, they implement quickly. The head representative shows that he really cares for his customers and aims to build a top notch product. Their articles on how to get the best out of their software are very thorough.

Nachteile:

I got a great deal on the software early on from a deal they had when acquiring a user base on Appsumo. That being said, the ROI one can achieve by following the software can far outshine what one would ever pay. That being said, they now have an upgrade to video that I would love to get my mits on, but alas I'm being cheap and refuse to pay the upgrade cost right now as I have software that duplicates that functionality... Okay, that's what I like least. haha. I'm sure it would be more than worth it for user that doesn't have the video capability already.

Experience is great. Now I can send multiple customized emails with a few clicks.

Since most of our business clients are based in different geographies all across the globe, scheduling the emails according to client's time zone is a great feature. Also, the cusomized auto follow up helps in saving time, enhancing my work schedule and an increased productivity. Lemlist is an amazing tool for all sales professionals and other ones looking to send out bulk email and that too customized ones.

Nachteile:

Initially, I faced a bit of concern while changing the way I worked on my leads through excel and now transitioning over to Lemlist. However, once I moved past that phase, I think Lemlist is seriously helping me save time and business cost.

Lemlist is amazing!

Vorteile:

Lemlist is a super product. It lets people create customized emails and send to their lists. It is outbound marketing at its finest. It has a great user interface and the "killer app" part is the images that are customizable for my clients. It changes the game as far as open rates and click rates!

Nachteile:

The changed the name of "Contacts" to "Buddy-to-Be". While I appreciate the sentiment...it makes the user interface a little more confusing.

Brilliant

Vorteile:

Lemlist is just what I need to "clean" my old huge lists in a safe and nice way in a combination with lemwarm. The software is great, the user experience is at the top of the game, and customer support is the best I ever had.

Nachteile:

I'm satisfied for now. I didn't use the sales part but I plan to.

Great product that keeps getting better

The founders post a lot of great content on how to use the software in your business for best results. I feel like they really understand the user's side of this and how we run our business. They have been continuously developing this for years and it keeps getting better.

Nachteile:

Honestly, so far I have found it very easy to use as a small business owner.

Great for sending customised bulk emails, prospecting and engaging existing contacts

Vorteile:

I really like the customisation that's built in. I chose Lemlist for our sales team to be able to send bulk prospecting emails and that's resulted in a massive increase in replies. What I really like most about Lemlist is the feature that checks the validity of email addresses which is missing in most other tools - and this is extremely crucial when prospecting.

Nachteile:

- The main downside is a missing integration with Zapier. I see Lemlist as a powerful tool in a growth hacking briefcase and with a missing Zapier integration, this disables our team from doing stuff like like contact form via Zapier to Lemlist. - Unable to export contacts. Nothing else.

Fantastic Tool

Kommentare: I absolutely love Lemlist. I was trying to do a lot of manual cold outreach before Lemlist. Lemlist saves me massive amount of time and gets me a really good click through rate

Kommentare: I think for the price is a great alternative to several other platforms. It still needs to fine tune in order to get to a perfect 10, yet it is close.

Vorteile:

Excellent ease of use. The program is straight to the point. Based on its stage, it is a reasonable price. The ability to embed images. Deliverability. Sending with multiple aliases.

Nachteile:

Because it is still being built out, you do encounter bugs; granted, the team is very responsive. Two big issues I hope they fix: 1) If someone subscribers, they need to be removed from the list just not the campaign, 2) No way to export lists to save in a doc in order to have prospecting team call people who replied.
