Nachteile:

The least I like about VSDC Video Editor is its steep learning curve, which can be challenging for beginners.

I really love this product VSDC Video Editor! I love this product because I found it to edit my YouTube videos. Ever since I've been using it, it has made my videos so much easy to edit and work on. I love how it's easy to navigate and makes my edit so fast & precise to edit. Some apps are hard to use, but VSDC is so easy! It has green screen available for editing, It has zoom tools, color changes, video effects, cutting tools & so much more to offer. This is a wonderful app!

Nachteile:

What it can improve on is modernizing the software more. If they can upgrade the style of the software. It will be more technologically modern to use. As there are lots of competition with video editing software's. I do find it a little bit old school, but other than that. It's very easy to use, just needs a little bit of upgrade!

If you are a beginner in the world of editing videos, I advise you to start with VSDC Video Editor

Vorteile:

In this software, one can easily merge different kinds of media like video, sound, pictures, and other ones. The dragging and dropping options are super easy to use. It also comes with a recording feature where we can capture videos from external devices. I could also save my projects in any format like mp4/mav and likewise. I find VSDC reliable to use and money efficient.

Nachteile:

Each time it updates, it gives me a different layout and I have to re-study the whole process of video editing every time. Plus, it's tough to watch video previews while editing. Even though it’s fast and simple to edit, this is a drawback for me.

Effective Video Project Creation

Kommentare: Our ability to effectively edit recorded presentations for YouTube promotion, Google Slide presentations and some for fun is why I am pleased to currently use, plan to continue to use and find the value for the cost to be very high.

Vorteile:

It's intuitive. Not only am I user, but I have to train others on how to edit our weekly videos. It's also flexible in the type of output. We create videos not only for YouTube but for other educational purposes, so to have the ability to export the video in a variety of formats has been great.

Nachteile:

I'm a little bothered by past updates which have changed the menuing and layout of the product. As I mentioned above, I have to train others, and these changes can be very damaging to those who 'need to go through a process - step by step'.

Kommentare: One of the efficient and reliable free video editor available for windows. I'm not going to switch from VSDC any time soon it handle all my task pretty well.

Vorteile:

Highly stable. Efficient and Least resource hungry (I run VSDC in an Intel Celeron 2 core N3350 it ran smoothly and i used 1 - 4K and 7 - 720p videos + many transition effects + Text ). Great amount of tutorials by the guys from VSDC on YouTube and in their own Website. Hardware acceleration. (Has a lot of option to play with). Changing preview quality in player screen. (Very useful for low end devices). Lot of export formats and custom export settings. No adware in free version. The full version is avilable at a very cheap price. Full version contains most almost all features for professional grade editing. The export quality of videos is highly efficient. (I mean it got me better quality and low size files compared to shotcut. Comes with various other features like screen recorder, audio recorder, converter etc.

Nachteile:

Couldn't find the keyboard shortcut for trimming tool (Every time i had to open the editor tab to use trim) Only windows version available. I couldn't find any other cons.

An honest review about VSDC

Kommentare: Overall, even if you get the free version, it is fine because you have access to most of its basic to mid video editing tools.
VSDC also receives updates until now and it gets better and better.
I highly recommend VSDC software if you don't have the budget to buy premium video editing software.

I like that VSDC has so much capability and on its free version. Unfortunately some of its best features is locked behind a paywall, but you still have access to almost all of its features on the free version.

Dynamic, affordable, worth the learning curve

Kommentare: Overall using VSDC has been a great experience and I keep going back to it again and again. It has its limits, which can be frustrating in the short term, but the overall package that VSDC Video Editor provides makes it a favorite. It is also a favorite of content creators online so finding answers to problems is easy.

Vorteile:

I love that with this free product I can do high-level customizations of videos. I especially appreciate how thorough and precise the text-add feature is, as I do a lot of adding subtitles for my music. I'm always impressed at how much this free program can do. The online support is good with thousands of tutorials if you ever get stuck. I love how much control I have over my projects.

Nachteile:

The menus are not necessarily intuitive. To be fair, this is a problem that media editing programs have as there is SO much you can do and SO much to cover. But I do find myself googling a lot to figure out how to do something, even if I've done it before. You really need to get familiar with this program to use it quickly.

Kommentare: We needed a software that could allow us to edit , merge and link various trainings into one professional package. This software allowed us to do that and then export them easily.

Vorteile:

We use the editing tools for developing fun sales training videos. It easily allows us to merge videos and trim our recordings so they look professional. Very pleased with the software for the past 3 years.

Nachteile:

There are allot of editing tools, take advantage of any training videos and you will pick it up quickly.

Professional video editing software made for the general public

Kommentare: VSDC allowed me to approach the editing of my first professional clips, its ease of access, handling and its performance are to be welcomed!

Vorteile:

What is particularly interesting in VSDC is the ease with which it is possible to edit even complex videos. it is very powerful and the resolution processing quality goes up to Ultra 4k. No need to render with Vsdc, the effects apply live, editing is therefore greatly accelerated. I really enjoy using it.

Nachteile:

What is less interesting is its weak media library. VSDC does not provide its users with enough video effects, transitions and others.

Compatibility and comprehensive use of VSDC Video Editor

Kommentare: My overall experience is quite satisfactory. I am very happy to use it because it saves my time and helps to increase the quality of my work. I have no issue and can use its all features. I sometimes feel that I am unable to use its all compatible features and functions. I would like to keep it and try to use it in future. I would love to recommend this software.

It saves time and easy handling with respect to trimming and splitting of the video. If I do any mistakes I can restart my editing and get finally finish the quality. It supports all types of videos and photos.

Nachteile:

Overall its functions are very good and excellent, however, it needs some improvement. For example, it needs to add some Poll-type features with its Title card. It will enhance its user ability and capability.

Solid option for video editing

Kommentare: It's the best option I've found to fit my needs. As far as the editing tools go, they offer more options than most even in the free version. Works well on any system I've used it on and has some good features for adding text, including music or other sound files and adjusting the color and feel of the complete product using filters.

Vorteile:

1. The fact that they have a free version is always a plus. They show ads for the paid version but do not penalize you in any way if you opt to stick to the free one. They don't even add a watermark. 2. Works even on my older PC, doesn't strain the system like many video editors. 3. Easy to use import and export features to start and complete your project. You don't really have to mess with converting anything which saves a lot of time. 4. You have a lot of control over the file type and sizes when you are finished.

Nachteile:

1. The layout is a little difficult to manage at first. It takes some work to figure out where to find things. 2. Previewing your videos can also come with challenges while you are editing. 3. Working with the timeline feature can be frustrating if you are using layers. It can be hard to avoid overlapping.

Powerful, yet easy to use

Kommentare: I've been able to create high quality videos for inclusion in the video games my company produces thanks to VSDC, and don't have any plans to switch to another video editor anytime soon.

VSDC combines an intuitive interface with powerful features designed to allow the end user to create remarkable videos, complete with animations and even includes professional Hollywood type features such as chroma-keying, more commonly referred to as the "green screen" effect. The program does a great job of combining powerful video editing features with easy of use, and really helps to streamline the entire multimedia editing and production process.

Nachteile:

Earlier versions of VSDC seemed a have a few software bugs here and there when performing certain features, however, these wrinkles seemed to have been ironed out in the most recent releases.

Great Video Editor

Kommentare: I use VSDC to make makeup videos for my business' Instagram page and it has been and continues to be a great experience. VSDC has made editing quite easy and fun and I have had no issues with the quality of the audio or video.

This video editor is full of useful features that make it a powerful video editor. You can use the basics like cutting and splitting, transitions and clip importing, as well as the more advanced features like chroma key, mask and audio and video layering. VSDC supports virtually any and every audio and video file that I've used to make my videos and the result is always beautiful. Also, I love that VSDC allows you to make videos in HD and 4K quality, and the video stabilization feature (which is not found in every video editor) is awesome.

Nachteile:

VSDC is not as user-friendly as some other editors that I have used throughout the years. It takes some time to really get used to the interface but, once you've become comfortable, everything is really a breeze. Also, the free version of the VSDC Video Editor has some restrictions which includes watermarks. If you don't mind the watermarks, then this is no issue. However, persons who are looking for a free video editor with no restrictions or prompts to purchase any other version of the editor, in this case the Pro version, will not enjoy using VSDC.

Good editor

Kommentare: I found it quite difficult for a novice to get started with the program, tutorials did help me get started but still not easy enough to pick up from there. I spent too much time with tutorials and not the actual program.

Vorteile:

It's easy enough to bring in videos for some necessary editing and some enhancements. The program runs smoothly with no major glitches.

Nachteile:

Very difficult to learn for a novice and I feel the free version could use more options, such as transitions, only a few are supplied. The program has many options for editing and rendering but many of those options are difficult to figure out how I would use them.

VSDC free is awesome!

Vorteile:

VSDC is the first editing software that I've ever used. I was able to get started pretty quickly, so I would say that it is pretty user friendly. I never would've thought that I would enjoy editing videos, but I do thanks to VSDC.

Nachteile:

I am currently using an older and slow computer for my editing and it struggles with the playback feature and converting the videos for export.

Free Editor Best Bang for your buck!!

Kommentare: Honestly, it works great and I really enjoy the save feature so all I have to do is insert the videos and the beginning and end are already set up to go.

Vorteile:

That the free version is just as good as the paid version, which is only $20 something a year with free updates.. Easy to use and to the point. Great Youtube videos to guide newbies like me through the cool editing hacks. Can convert for multiple formats to upload too.

Nachteile:

Make sure you download the right version 32/64 to your rig otherwise it won't work.. Crashing problems when working with larger vids so SAVE OFTEN..

It is free. As far as free applications that do what it does, I cannot think of many. Features are somewhat lacking but that is expected with free apps.

Nachteile:

Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, it may not have enough features and levels to it. In which case you will need to go with a paid editing system or application.
