Great solution for questions from the audience

Vorteile:

Loved that I got a text number and could try this software out without spending a fortune. Very competitive pricing, and worked for my use case of getting the audience to supply questions without seeing everyone elses questions. Pretty easy to use interface, and got everything to work for me. The support was good too.

Nachteile:

The big missing feature was a checkbox to prevent audience members to see other peoples questions when using the website to submit their question. Oddly, this option is available for polls, but not for open-ended questions. Didn't look like I could easily embed live polls in a presentation, but then that's not really what this software is for, or my particular use case.

My students love it!

Kommentare: Customer service was outstanding. I noticed other polling sites and their costs as well, and I think it all is expensive. It has been worth it to me, but I can easily see man teacher not justifying the cost. That aside, this program has helped me understand what I am doing right or wrong, and my students as well, in the classroom.

Vorteile:

I use this to check for understanding in the classroom. I embed the links in my PowerPoint presentations and the students take it from there. It's great to get live feedback to see what the students retained and understood, and what they still need work on. If further re-teaching is needed, it can be addressed immediately, rather than waiting for the results of a quiz or a test. The students have a blast with it as well. They get so excited when they choose the correct answer and how they stacked up to the rest of the class.

Nachteile:

The software is fine. If there is one con, it's that I have to switch which poll is live in the middle of my instruction. I'm an experienced teacher, so I do this seamlessly while continuing to teach. That being said, I can also see where this could slow a lesson down or be one too many steps for a fellow teacher to want to tackle within a lesson. However, I am aware that this software is not necessarily designed for how I use it.

A little clunky, but they're working on it.

Vorteile:

This software is more cost effective than other products on the market, which was the biggest draw for our nonprofit organization.

Nachteile:

The presentation/audience view of an active, live poll is not the cleanest. The font sizes are small, and there are very few appearance options to customize the look of the audience view. The integration with PPT was clunky - had to exit out of presentation mode in order to operate multiple survey questions due to the need to "stop" each question before proceeding to the next.

Vorteile:

Very easy to learn to navigate! I was able to get the support I needed because the team at Swift Poll is very responsive. They were always available to help.

Nachteile:

Some of the features did not work, like the receive a response text. We wanted to do a trivia game but since that feature did not work we were not able to do that.

Excellent Polling Solution!

Kommentare: This software allowed us to get data from our event attendees to help select the future direction of our organization.

Vorteile:

The customer service received from the Swift team was phenomenal! I had several questions and needed some specific things answered regarding our event and they were very quick to respond and went above and beyond to help out

Nachteile:

I wish there were some more options for displaying the content to the users during the event. I made it work but I just wish there was a little more customization in how the content is displayed.

The poll syestem was easy to figure out and implement in the setting that we needed.

Vorteile:

The software was extrememely intuitive to use, it was easy to navigate and set it up exactly how we wanted it. Visually it looks the best out of any of the other live poll systems that we researched.

Nachteile:

There is nothing really that I disliked about this software. The ease of use was great and we had not problems integrating it into our service.

This worked awesome at out event!

Kommentare: We used this to allow people to text in questions during a large conference. We had about 500 people and we posted the number on the big screens and got a bunch of incoming texts. Worked perfect!

Vorteile:

Easy Product, great service worked awesome!

Nachteile:

I really didn't have any issues or concerns. I cannot think of options I would need that it did not have.

I don't remember even using it.

Vorteile:

I guess what I like most about it is that it must not have given me much trouble because I don't even remember it.

Nachteile:

I guess the thing I like least about it is that you have to pay money for it (apparently). But I don't even remember using it, so hard to say.

Lacking Integrity

Vorteile:

We purchased this system for a luncheon of 500 individuals. The system crashed during one of the s and kicked us out of the system. The company wanted to learn more and began looking into issuing a refund because of the product failure. That was the last time they would correspond with us. Never got refund. A company that lost my trust.

Nachteile:

After initially being concerned with our problem, the company stopped corresponding with us.

Best polling tool ever!

Kommentare: It was really cool to keep your audience to feel fresh. I've used it during my presentation, where people were asking questions during the event and it was very cool. Everybody was satisfied with the tool! Thanks to the creators :)

Vorteile:

It was very interactive and worked without any issues.

Nachteile:

Actually everything worked good. Nothing to say here.

Interactive polling made easy

Kommentare: I’m very satisfied with Swift Polling. The service has been a key part to add interactivity to my client’s live streaming events.

Vorteile:

I tested a couple of alternatives to integrate a live polling feature during live streaming events. Swift Polling is easy to use and offers several visualizations for data. The audience can interact live, giving their responses on a browser or text message. I can display the real-time results on the live stream and project them for the searing audience at the event. Word cloud is probably one of my favorite data visualizations. The interface is very clean and easy to navigate. I can also work on multiple projects in advance and Steve them for when my event is going live. Swift is also very affordable with multiple subscription options.

Nachteile:

The service has a lot of the basic tools I need for my use. I wish they would integrate more visualizations and allow users to customize the look to match a presentation or the corporate image with the option to add a logo or branding.

Great way to engage our audience in a live event.

Vorteile:

We use Swift Polling for our annual "Dancing with the Docs" event. In this Dancing with the Stars-style fundraiser, local doctor and dance pro teams perform, and the audience can vote for their favorites from home. This polling platform made it easy to share this feature, and the results were fast & in real time.

Nachteile:

I'm not sure if this exists, but if not, and optional donation button would be a nice extra for nonprofits like ours.

Great Polling Service

Kommentare: Great customer service, great price, great product. We used it for our annual research competition where the audience gets to vote for their favorite research team. Very happy about this product.

Vorteile:

How easy it is to set up and project to the screen for all audiences to see.

Nachteile:

Wish it had more styles to offer. Having a good background style will elevate the apps presentation.

The product performed exceptionally well for our use!

Kommentare: The even I used the software, I achieved a higher level of attendee involvement.

Vorteile:

I like that it is very easy to use and you have some control over the outcome and viewing of the voting/response.

Nachteile:

I wish I could have more control over the screen that is projecting the results live. I projected the results onto a large screen in an expo center and I have to do some manipulating with the zoom of the screen to achieve a tailored look at that was not too small for my viewers to see.

Nachteile:

The user interface needs improvement. It can be made more user friendly and can be used as USP for selling.

Really enjoy the user interface. As simple as that may sound it's just easy to use.

Nachteile:

Less on the software but more on the purchase experience. We realized that we needed the next tier of user packages, to accommodate the amount of responses we'd receive. There had to be a back-around, customer-service manner to get us into the next tier - while reimbursing the previous. I think it'd be helpful once you purchase a tier package to then advertise for "add-on" payments for additional response capacity

Integrating the software to fit my needs was a huge pro The UI was easy enough for colleagues to learn

Nachteile:

The design of the actual pages could use to be a little prettier! Cosmetics were my only critique

Glitches during live conference

Kommentare: We had hoped to capture the excitement of the room but instead created an odd lag without any results displaying. We were sadly disappointed.

Vorteile:

We love the text to vote option. We like the easy setup and simple creation of polls.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately, during the live plenary, the software glitched and wouldn't display any results. While we intended to have multiple polls over multiple talks, we decided to scrap it in the end because the product wasn't working. During tests it ran fine.

My Experience

Vorteile:

Easy to set up Swift Polling directly if you're not trying to integrate with PowerPoint

Nachteile:

Does not easily work with PowerPoint. Depending on your setup (wide-screen vs. standard), it's a bit clunky.

It is a great website to use when you are on the fly and need a quick poll

Kommentare: Allowed us to go on with our event in an organized and structured manner. It would have been difficult going back to the old fashion hand raising.

Vorteile:

It is live It is easily accessible I thought it was convenient for what we needed it for and people enjoyed voting through the software.

Nachteile:

It takes a while to catch on to the way it works. I had to do some research on how to set up my poll.

Had a great experience so far - exactly the solution we were looking for at a good price.

Kommentare: We used it as a way to engage our worship audience in real time each weekend and to have some fun. It was cool, and a success.

Vorteile:

Very simple to navigate, very little time from start to finish required to make it run. The cost is great.

Nachteile:

The biggest issue we faced is that we lost the phone number after a month. We also had some issues with the typeset being too small on our large LED screens, but we figured out a work around. While I like the ease of the product, a bit more customization for things like text size would be useful.

Great Tool for Audience Participation in Competition

Kommentare: We were hosting a talent competition and wanted to allow the audience to participate in the selection of the winner. Swift Polling gave us the tool we needed so our audience could vote on their mobile devices instantly.

Vorteile:

It was easy to set up the two questions we wanted to ask and was an affordable way to allow the number of votes we wanted.

Nachteile:

Free version was limited in number of responses.

Great tool for a congregational vote!

Kommentare: It worked very well. We did a congregational vote of more than 1,200 people from 5 pm - 2 pm the next day, and it worked great.

Vorteile:

It was fairly simple to set up, and customer service was awesome!

Nachteile:

Help section didn't always give quite enough info, but Live Chat was quick to respond when I had a question.

Easy to Use

Kommentare: The overall experience was great. It had an easy-to-use interface and I found it to be very user friendly.

Vorteile:

It was a last-minute purchase for a poll that we needed at the last minute during a seminar.

Nachteile:

There were no cons. It was the first product that we tested using the free trial and it worked for our needs, which were for a one-day event.

Kommentare: I've only had positive experiences with Swift polling. When I had a few questions about my account, customer service was so responsive and willing to help. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to conduct a poll.

The 30-day trial period for the phone number in the free version, I wish it was longer.
