Bequem und Garantiert
Kommentare: Nutze ich privat sehr gerne, und so kommt man auch gut auf neue Restaurants, die man vorher nicht auf dem Schirm hatte.
Vorteile:
Online-Buchungen klappen immer, man muss sich keine Sorgen machen dass eine Buchung nicht durchgeht/ als ungültig erfasst wird. Nutzen wir mit den Kollegen als Gruppe, für Lieferungen und auch privat. Insbesondere für Personen, die es nicht mögen zu telefonieren/ keine Zeit dafür haben, wirklich sehr vielversprechend und bequem!
Nachteile:
Leider machen nicht alle Restaurants mit, aber diesen Abstrich mache ich gerne, weil die Vorteile sehr überwiegen :).
Reservierung bei OpenTable

Der Gesamteindruck von Opentable ist in meinen Augen ein sehr positiver. Man kann direkt buchen sieht Restaurants in der Nähe alles läuft sehr unkompliziert ab.
Und man kann auch unkompliziert stornieren

Die Vorteile bei Opentable liegen darin, das man direkt vom Handy aus sein Restaurant besuch buchen bzw.Reservieren kann. Und man mit dem Restaurant auch schreiben kann. Besser als wie wenn man immer rumtelefonieren muss

Einfache Handhabung, Bei der Reservierung ist sofort ersichtlich ob es einen Freien Tisch gibt.

Love using open table
Kommentare: It's awesome to use and very user-friendly. You can create and cancel a reservation and you can see how busy a restaurant is if you're trying to book.
Vorteile:
I love how it lets me pick out the details and specific times and to let them know if it's for a special occasion or not. It's awesome too, that you earn points.That can go towards things.
Nachteile:
As of right now, I don't have any issues with open table.

Helpful and convenient
Kommentare: Great! It is a very helpful app. I order take out a lot and use this app for orders and viewing restaurants etc.
Vorteile:
The convenience of it definitely. I love that you can view the restaurant menu’s, make reservations and even see customer reviews.
Nachteile:
It would crash on my phone every now and again, typically when I’m out of internet range.
Open Table is OK
Vorteile:
I like that it's pretty easy to use however it's crashed on me a couple times while using

It crashes and I've had situations where I couldn't cancel something and go penalized for it.
easy to book a reservation and link to any calendar
Vorteile:
When you find a restaurant on GoogleMap, you can see the book button and link to opentable, it's easy to make a request and reservation, save lots of time to have a booking. (Most of the restaurant still need to call to book)
Nachteile:
It will be better if they can provide some discount to book on the app, like the fork application in Europe, so people will be willing to try on different types and new thing.

Convenient and Reliable, with a Few Minor Glitches
Kommentare: Overall, I’ve had a positive experience using OpenTable. It’s my go-to for making restaurant reservations, especially when I’m exploring new places. The convenience factor is high, and the app generally performs well. There are minor hiccups from time to time, but they’re not deal-breakers.

OpenTable makes it incredibly easy to find and book reservations at a wide variety of restaurants, often with just a few clicks. Nachteile:
While the platform is generally reliable, there have been occasions when I arrived at a restaurant only to find that the reservation hadn’t been properly communicated or confirmed on their end. Also, some of the lesser-known or smaller restaurants aren’t available on OpenTable, limiting options in certain areas.

A great tool for restaurant
Kommentare: We have used them for years and would highly recommend them to small, non-corporate restaurants trying to be seen amongst so many local restaurants.
Vorteile:
Easy for our guests to make reservations, tracks guests visits, you can enter guest notes and historical data to make their next visit more meaningful. They often have "Top Ten" lists for the categories that guests vote you in that you can use for marketing purposes. Reviews on Open Table are considered 'legit' as only real diners can write reviews.
Nachteile:
If you have more money to spend, a program like SevenRooms has more guest tracking data capabilities for tagging and targeted emails/marketing. Can get expensive if your guests often use Open Table to make reservations.

Very easy and great tool for booking ahead and making reservations.
Vorteile:
What I like most about this software is its usefulness, coupled with its simplistic yet easy layout. The options for available times and selections are very easy to read, making it very user-friendly. I also liked the way the layout also seemed to cater to touchscreen devices with larger than average digital buttons for selections. This definitely contributes to use on the go when a reservation may be needed to be made last minute. The available time suggestions closest to my desired time and date option also save me time from having to search around and find an available date and time.
Nachteile:
There is not much I dislike about this software, but one thing that I would appreciate is in regards to desired date storage. What I mean by this is, let us say I have a date and time in mind for a reservation, and that time slot is not available, I am unable to book that timeslot. However, I am never made aware if that time slot becomes available unless I keep checking on that timeslot. It would be ideal if this software could incorporate an email alert or equivalent if a previously unavailable timeslot becomes available (due to the party originally occupying the reservation say cancels their existing reservation or if more seating becomes available) such that I can book my desired timeslot. While I realize this is more a feature I would like to see in a future update as opposed to an issue with the present software, I feel that this is something that is lacking that could be easily incorporated as a very useful user option.
Open Table/ Dirty Table
Vorteile:
The ease of access of this app is too good for words. If everyone is sufficiently trained, and staff members are on their A game, this is app is quite helpful and useful. It allows all members of staff to update the POS system in order to communicate quickly what status a table is at. It is also helpful with assigning tables to certain parties and deciding upon wait times. For the Hostess, this system is great all all hosts should learn this program at some point in their career. I would only say that it is harder to expect a server to stay on top of updating the system for the hosts throughout their steps of service.
Nachteile:
While the overall application is easy to use and very informative, it does tend to send some mixed signals between servers and hosts if not used properly. The app shows table layout on the screen that allows the user to see which tables have guests, which tables are empty but need to be bussed, and which tables are ready for new guests to be seated. The problem here is that unless a server has time between taking care of her other guests to run to a POS station to inform a hostess that a table is dirty and then find time 5-10 minutes later to see if her buster has cleaned the table and then update the table through the system, clean tables are forgotten and wait times are lengthened due to miscommunications. The structure itself is easy to use, however it seems to add

Kommentare: Overall I think Open Table was a great an powerful tool that has changed the restaurant industry.
Vorteile:
I have used this software as a hostess and has a restaurant goer. As a restaurant-goer, I enjoy this software as it allows ease of making reservations. Instead of calling restaurants for availability Open Table allows you to easily see time slots available. On the other hand, as a former server and hostess, Open Table automatically populated any reservations made. Further it allowed you to enter and maintain regular customers in the system. Open table greatly helped me do my job in estimating wait times and maintaining reservations.
Nachteile:
Open Table is a tool, not a crystal ball. While it greatly helped me in my job as a hostess, sometimes wait times were off due to people lingering longer or unforeseen circumstances occurring. This cause people to show up to their reservations and having a slight wait. On the other hand, as a user you are able to block Open table from allowing more reservations in the event things get really backed up.
Love the App and Love the Rewards System
Kommentare: I have been using OpenTable for over six years (since 2018). I have accumulated wealth of points, rewards, and enjoy OpenTable VIP status and absolutely love my experince with this app. I only wish that more restaurants would adopt the app for their reservation system because it is so easy to use. Everytime I use to app, I always have my table waiting when I arrive at the restaurant. Beautiful!
Vorteile:
I love that OpenTable is so intuitive and easy to use to book reservations. I have been using OpenTable since 2018 and have accummulated OpenTable VIP status with over 150+ booked and completed reservations. They have an awesome rewards system where you can redeem OpenTable points for cool things like Amazon gift cards.
Nachteile:
I have one "if only" for OpenTable. If only. . .you could change the day of a reservation that is already booked, it would be GREAT! Currently, you can only change the time of the reservation. You cannot add people and you cannot change the day to an already booked reservation. You have to go in and cancel to start over.
Not worth it unless you are a major chain with 300 seats

Vorteile:
It allows you to assign tables in the restaurant as they come in and shoes a fairly good job of tracking several metrics like turn time, server cover counts, etc. It also has ways to advertise and draw in customers who may not know about you.
Nachteile:
It's impossible to compete. With the difficulty in finding a restaurant as a customer it translates to moe exposure for larger chain restaurants with budgets to throw at open table. Also, it's pricey. The cost per guest that books is unreasonable and you still have to pay more to advertise. It's just not worth it in my opinion. That are cheaper methods available that focus on phone number advertising as opposed to email (because who opens email nowadays). There are text message options with open table but they are buried and not effective.

Perfect for small independents
Kommentare: It easily allows myself as a manager and my staff to manage bookings, helps identify where tables are at, what time they need to be turned. Much better than a paper system.

Excellent program
Vorteile:
Exposure. But also many features to keep track of your bookings, who changed the bookings when, and history of return guests. Great customer service- you get right thru every time. Highly recommend.
Nachteile:
I wish it would have the ability to get it on more computers without the extra cost. As a sales manager, if I could get it at home, I could work from home.

The must use app for making restaurant reservations
Kommentare: I love using this app! Booking a reservations takes about 30 seconds total. They follow-up with a confirmation email, as well as emails after your dine, offering the ability to rate the experience for the benefit of the restaurant and other users, and they promptly credit you the points you've earned. The app also lets you input any special occasions you'd like to notate, which is really handy for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Vorteile:
The OpenTable app rewards you for making reservations - something you would likely do anyway! Not only that, but it makes the reservation process that much easier. You simply look up the restaurant, instantly see what days/times are available, and in a few clicks, you have your reservation. As soon as your reservation is completed, you earn points for dining. Once your point balance gets high enough (which doesn't take that long if you dine often), you can exchange those points for dining credits, or use them for discounts on hotels, or on flights booked through Kayak! You can supercharge your point earnings by selecting restaurants that have need dates/times that they would like to fill, often earning you 10x the points you would normally earn on a regular reservation.
Nachteile:
The only negative is that not every restaurant is on it. It does have a dominant presence in the industry, so while you may not always find a cafe or coffee shop, a reputable restaurant is usually on the platform.
