We love all the thoughtful extras they have built into the application. We made the switch and we are glad we did!

Nachteile:

It needs to run a little bit better. Swell hasn’t worked out all the kinks

Vorteile:

Swell is super easy to use and works quite well. It produces pretty solid results when used.

Nachteile:

Their customer service is pretty awful and the sneaky wording in their contracts AUTO RENEW without heads up of any kind. Thats a bit greasy.

Vorteile:

Very easy to set up and get on board with them.

Nachteile:

I really don't have any cons... from set up to 4 months into the program we have not had one disappointment!

Kommentare: Overall our number of reviews has increased and a step was taken off of our team's plate since the links are sent automatically. Swell has also relieved the stress that our team used to have about having to answer chats immediately or risk losing the lead.

Vorteile:

We use Swell for two purposes, one being as our website chat and the other being as a way to request reviews from customers. The website chat feature has been a huge help because potential customers do not have to stay on the website for us to respond, all communication is to their phone, but through the Swell platform on our end. This has proved to be very efficient. As for the review requests, our reviews have increased exponentially, and we credit it to how easy Swell's links make it to leave us a review. On our end, we also like that once we convert a lead in our CRM to a customer they are automatically entered into Swell's system. They are then automatically scheduled to be sent a review request at 6:00 p.m. that evening. Overall this has automated our system for reviews and made the experience easier for our customers.

Nachteile:

It would be nice for the website chats to link up to our CRM so we can see if they are already a lead and be able to add them to our CRM from Swell if they are not. This is not a dealbreaker by any means. The other thing is that the company we worked with before had a widget that we could put on our website so that our reviews automatically showed on our website. Something like this would be nice to have again, but still not a dealbreaker.

Kommentare: I’m writing this review because I have been very happy with Swell in our first 3 months of use. The software has exceeded my expectations! I have also been absolutely thrilled with Swell’s customer service. I always get an answer or solution within the day of my inquiry. Fantastic!

Vorteile:

Swell is very easy to implement, and the dashboard is intuitive and user-friendly. My favorite Swell feature is one I thought might be a negative: customers leave a review after only one click. Why would a one-click system be a negative? We previously used BirdEye and were very happy with them. Unfortunately, a programming glitch did not allow our practice management software to function with BirdEye on our server, so we had to part ways. But one BirdEye feature I really appreciated was a system to help guide unhappy customers to contact us directly instead of leaving a poor review on Google or Facebook. As a marketer, I try to avoid negative reviews like the plague! What I didn’t realize was that BirdEye’s “safety valve” involved extra screens for even the most enthusiastic customer to click through. When we switched to Swell, our sales representative convinced me that, based on our practice’s outstanding history of 5-star reviews, we likely didn’t need that safety net. Additionally, he was certain the one-click-to-leave-a-review system would lead to more customers leaving reviews. He was absolutely correct! We averaged 1-2 reviews a week with BirdEye, but have already had several days in which we received 5-7 reviews per day(!!) with Swell!

Nachteile:

The two details I have asked Swell to address are: - A small review counting badge that we can install in the header of our website (they are working on it). - For our replies to reviews to be visible in the Swell review scroll that we have on our website. Again, I hear the technical wizards at Swell are working to fulfill this request.

I implemented Swell because I was very impressed with the sales person [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and needed a software that I could add to my website to both allow potential clients to ask questions, etc AND encourage guests to write reviews.

Nachteile:

I do not find the support to be great. In fact I initially stopped using Swell, because I did not like the person helping me and then when I was talked back into coming back, I was put with her again. She was not much nicer and then I reached out to ask question, she told me to go ask someone else because it was not in her job description anymore, so I did and I basically was told that I wasn't trained correctly...I wanted out of my expensive contract and was told no. So I am riding it out and hoping things get better and using it minimally. The app does not do half of what the website does. The back end of the website is not super intuitive. Review alert is slow.

Great Product/Sub-par Customer Support

Vorteile:

The product works great at solicitating reviews and responding to the results.

Nachteile:

The product is great, but the customer service sucks. We had an issue with posting reviews to our website using a widget they provided – it worked on the desktop but not on the mobile – and it was impossible to get help. Each time I reached out I got an email reply that said they’re working on it. When I called the phone number that they provided I got a message that basically said, “we don’t take phone calls so send us an email or text message.” After four months of hearing that the Swell development team is working on it, I finally resorted to posting a negative Facebook recommendation. That got some action. Within 45 minutes I got a phone call from someone at Swell. He patiently listened to my issues and said he’d check into it. Within an hour I got an email explaining how to configure things so it would work with our mobile website. Products like this are all basically the same – different price points and different features, but they’re basically the same – so support is the game changer. For us Swell flunked the test and we’re moving to a different vendor when our agreement expires.

At times even when a patient is in the system it will not find them so then I try and add them into the system and then it finds the patient.

If you are not using Swell for review management, you are missing out!

Vorteile:

We had been using Swell for review management for about a year when our dental software incorporated review requests. We canceled Swell for a short time for the built in product. We noticed a huge drop in review response using the other review management. Lesson learned, Swell has a method to produce the best response. I also love the text to pay feature. That has been a game changer.

Nachteile:

Software updates have proven to be problematic with Swell at times but not updating in the database. Patients with canceled or moved appts would continue to be contacted. It took several days and attempts to remedy the situation.

Best Tool on Market to boost patient engagement

Kommentare: their customer support and training support is terrific. It was easy to setup and even easier to use.

Vorteile:

The webchat tool is designed as a lead generation tool first, which helps patients, website visitors, and staff engage via text instead of tethering them to the computer. I also love the automated system to invite patients to leave reviews straight to Google without too many clicks. consistently seeing 25% more reviews come through Swell than any other tool being used in the dental industry.

Nachteile:

The fact that we can't do automated appointment confirmations or reminders via SMS or online booking. They already integrate with most practice management softwares so I can't imagine this would be difficult to do.

Kommentare: My experience has been okay, but not amazing. Not the best, certainly not the worst. It's a solid ok.

Vorteile:

The interface is easy to use. It's clean and easy to understand.

Nachteile:

We were sold on an integration with our current CRM. Swell has not been able to deliver on that promise. I don't feel like they have a lot of support to troubleshoot these issues.

Simplicity of use. It's ability to garner reviews.

Nachteile:

Problem with mobile chat duplicating the test is on ongoing pain in the A$$. Fix it already.

We love that Swell integrates with our practice management software and does the hard work behind the scenes. It is so easy to use the platform to monitor reviews. We have gotten so many more reviews without really putting in any effort at all. It is very reasonably priced as well. We would definitely recommend Swell to others!

We have nothing to complain about. We love Swell and what it has done for our online reputation!

Great as a texting platform

Kommentare: Although clumsy in some aspects it overall fits our needs at the time being as being a way to contact and stay in touch with clients without sharing our personal numbers.

Vorteile:

Swell is easy to use and works well as a basic web chat/ customer text service. It's easy to keep track of each employees customer interactions. Uploading our client information was pretty seamless and our onboarding included a lot of support with even tutorial videos sent to share with the team at my request.

Nachteile:

There is room for improvement. Sending photos to clients is hit or miss...when they do send it sends when you click...it would be nice if there was a preview so that you are sure you send the correct photo. We have had a lot of issues with the app for our team members that don't have IPhones. The notifications can feel a little clumsy at times. There is no real way to see who has sent reviews when...you can see the reviews and what stage they are in but further expansion would be helpful

Kommentare: My Dr and myself like this system very much. They post things to our Google so we do not have to do that ourselves or hire another company to do so.

Vorteile:

It gives us reviews quickly and sends out a link to the patients right after their appointment while it is fresh in their mind.

Nachteile:

I really do not have any Cons, we like this service and plan to stay with them for a long time to come.

Great Software, Working on the Glitches

Kommentare: We really like Swell, the concept, and the process. Once the bugs from the new program get worked out, we'll be extremely happy.

Vorteile:

We love the ability to text our patients and chat with them when they are not able to take a phone call. We use this daily for appointment confirmations and send out our review requests. We also love that there is an app. I will be logging into that this week to see how it works. I'll be chatting with the other 7 clinics to update them on how to use it on a daily basis.

Nachteile:

1) We are struggling with the restrictions on the phone numbers. If we block a phone number so they do not receive additional reviews (this is when they've left a review, we do not want them to keep getting those requests), we are unable to use the texting feature for their appointment confirmations. We would love a feature that disables one portion of the program but allows us to keep other portions. 2) We also cannot get OpenDental to work with Swell to stop texting children. It continues to text the children's parent but with the child's name asking for the review. It brings laughs from several parents who get this for each child but I do not think everyone smiles from it. We have tried numerous things such as setting a guardian, a parent, or guarantor but it has not worked yet. We'll figure out which one works but in the meantime, it's been a tough one. 3)

Would not Recommend. Waste of Money.

Kommentare: My overall experience with Swell was horrible. Not only to have issues from the start, but I was misled about a seasonal contract, as I am a seasonal business.
So being trapped in to a contract where the claims of service are not being met. My number of reviews went down after starting Swell.
This is a true salesman style company, great word tracks and presentation, but nothing to back up the claims.

Vorteile:

The only good thing I can say is that the software was easy to use and learn. However, useless it may have been.

Nachteile:

I experienced constant issues with the integration. Took over 45 days to get the Swell integration complete and working after being told it would seamlessly integrate to Fareharbor. Of course this used up my trial time as well. So you can guess what happened next. Reviews were not sent to every customer as was claimed to happen once the integration was complete. Response at getting reviews went down once Swell took over the review requesting.

Great Software to Help our Clients GMB shine!

Vorteile:

Swell really aids in our team's SEO efforts by allowing our dentists to rack up reviews for their GMB and have them stand out against competitors. The live chat feature is also great for patients who are not looking to book and appointment via phone call.

Nachteile:

To my knowledge Swell can only send automated reviews with certain PMS's. It would be nice to see more PMS integrated with Swell and able to send automatic reviews verses manual.

Kommentare: We immediately saw a big uptick in the number and quality of reviews left by our clients.

Vorteile:

Super easy to use. In one click clients can leave easy ratings and reviews on google, facebook, yelp, whatever. They send a report every month detailing the number of reviews requested, the number posted, average rating, and the number that were posted on the various search sites.

Nachteile:

Getting a review from a client is more effective when the client is still in your presence. Once they leave your location, response rates go down. That isn't a factor related to the software, but just a fact of human nature. As long as your client isn't on your wifi, try and get the review before they leave your place of business.

Great way to communicate with customers!

Kommentare: Swell has made it easy for us to send out text or email messages to large groups or all of our customers. I like the ability to send to all but also to create groups that I need. We also use the individual messaging daily to send reminders or pictures to customers that do not use our social media platforms.

Vorteile:

We have found this software helpful in getting messaging out to customers for appointment reminders as well as event reminders. I have had some trouble at times figuring out how to get things to work but the Swell team will answer questions and the Help answers take you step by step.

Nachteile:

I feel it could be a little more user friendly and obvious how to send mass messages, etc.

My only issue was trying to sign in to swell for this week. But other than that it is amazing. Even the representative that helped get me back in was awesome!!!!

"Best management platform for help businesses"

Kommentare: According to me easy to use interface and setup. The support system is also great and fast too. This is very very helpful for small businesses.

Vorteile:

This platform allows massages to clients to ask for Google product reviews for my business which is important for my work. This is easy to use and easy to learn and understand. No limitation for no of contacts. All prices are equal. I recommend it to all if you want to maximize your clients.

Nachteile:

I dont have so many problems with this. Their support is great and fast to solve my problems and concern fastly. so I am happy with this.
