People with android have had issues using the app. There is no way for staff members to put in extended periods of time off in the app (vacatin or PTO or what not).

This app has been game changing for how we communicate with staff.
Vorteile:
I like the ease of use as a Coordinator. My time spent scheduling has shrunk majorly, leaving me more time to focus on recruiting, on-boarding and training. The calendar makes it really easy for me to see what my week looks like. The sorting function help me isolate events to more easily see events. Even the color and font choices used in the apps is pleasing to the eye! The support from the Nowsta team has been amazing. They always respond within minutes through their direct messaging function and not only resolve the issue, but are a blast to work with. It's been a year that we have used the software and there have been endless improvements to functionality. They have expanded the system in many ways, allowing us to change our payroll functions and save money. Many times, we have seen areas for improvement, have sent the Nowsta team suggestions and then seen the tweaks in the app a few weeks later. The team at Nowsta is the ultimate example of continuous improvement. My staff really enjoys using the app and it has actually been a help in hiring as well. I mention it during the interview and I have seen candidates' faces light up with excitement that we schedule with such a convenient form of communication.
Nachteile:
The timeclock function on the app can be buggy and not record proper times, but I let the Nowsta team know and it's usually fixed right away. It's also an easy fix as a Coordinator, to adjust the times on the desktop.

We cannot communicate 2 way with staff and cannot create a group chats with the team per event. Since we are here, also a section where you can have documents to give team. Onboarding, training, etc Check out connecteam, i almost get them instead of you. Add some of those features and you will be perfect. I am serious

I had to get into using NOwsta because of one of my clients, I don't have too much to say but it doesn't have the features I need to completely use it. I have to still use my schedule and also they still have to email in hours. Saves me on sending out the schedule but not much more on the other side.

that it doesn't have everything I need, not as easy as I would like.

Kommentare: Nowsta's platform is so intuitive it has been a lifesaver for staffing our catering events. The ease of use for our team and the communication tools built into the platform save us hours of work each week.
Vorteile:
The time it saves our team every week as we juggle staffing each week. It's especially helpful when changes happen (as we all know they do). The built in communication tools are great for alerting our team to changes quickly.
Nachteile:
We also have restaurants and just haven't been able to figure out how to use if for that staffing as well.

Quick, easy to see availability of front of house staff and schedule accordingly Love the ability to note on individual staffing when they worked shifts. We use it as a tool to document what a new staff member learned on shift and if they need to improve. Great tool overall communication from event staff to record growth or needs

Wowsta for Nowsta!
Kommentare: Very pleased. I think we've been using it since 2018 or so. I acknowledge that the program probably offers much for function that we tend to utilize.
Vorteile:
Ease of use by my staff via the app, which leads to quick responsiveness.
Nachteile:
I'm not seeing or not aware of a inter- staff communication capability. Like shift swapping. Would be nice if staff could swap shifts among themselves. Using the pdf timesheet for billing is not conducive to our operations. There are always incidentals/ deliver fees added on the back end that do not necessarily show up on the final pdf. We are a University that employs students and On call folks. Our Payroll procedures process them differently. For example, student are paid rounded to the nearest quarter hour. On calls are paid using exact times. We ultimately have to round everyone to quarter hours to keep the actual hours worked more clean. We use a separate payroll system called Bannerweb for logging hours.
Great product and service
Kommentare: We as a company have loved Nowsta from implementation. It has definitely been a game changer for us in multiple ways and has had a positive impact in all departments, from event staffing to floral staffing to operations staffing and scheduling meetings. It is integral to our success and the support team is top-notch.

Nachteile:
Nothing that I dislike but there may be a feature or two that might be beneficial, at least for some of the information or uses that I would like to retain/export.

Kommentare: Investing in Nowsta is definitely one of the best decisions I have made. It is so easy to use, transfer events from my event platform and see my staff availability as well as tracking their time and attendance.

How easy it is for us to schedule and message staff, as well as how easy it is for staff to clock in and clock out and put their availability all from their mobile devices.
Nachteile:
I have not encountered anything that I don't like.

It's user friendly - attractive, easy to navigate and make updates. Humorous little phrases pop up while refershing while working. Nowsta makes staffing and events logistics and organization, which can be difficult to organize a breeze!
Nachteile:
nothing reaally - i'd be stretching to think of something that stands out.
Efficiency in catering and gig work
Kommentare: Good it has been overall good. Only with scheduling a shift for someone and not sending an update for scheduled shifts is my only complaint.

We like Nowsta it works well for gig work. Efficiency overall for staff to pick up or deny shifts quickly.

Your current hours are not tallied on the first screen. Hours worked on the first screen would be so efficient.

Kommentare: Its been really seamless for us. I love that I can fill staffing positions, even last minute, if I get in a jam, and the Nowsta staff is super responsive to when we have an urgent need (or any need in that matter).

Kommentare: We use Nowsta integrated with Total Party Planner which works well for our catering company.

Nowsta is user friendly. I love that I can use it on my phone or on my desktop. Most of my event staff find it easy to clock in and out and set up their availability calendar.
