Some pros and cons about HRdownloads

Kommentare: HRdownloads is very useful especially if you need a template or get an idea on how to create something for HR purposes.

Vorteile:

The available templates that we can use anytime. Those templates save a lot of time and research.

Nachteile:

Maybe the integration part? We cant integrate the HRdownloads to the EDM tool that we are currently using.

Excellent platform for HR

Kommentare: Very reliable and effective HR system for day to day operations.

Vorteile:

I like the updates with legislation; tracking assignments and compliance for employees; courses offered

Nachteile:

time management just isn't there for me yet.

The layout of the website and the ability to have employee sign documents

I would like it to have an area to post employee reminders.

Peace of Mind

Vorteile:

I highly recommend it as a partner at an accounting firm in BC. This is our third year with Ciatation, and I couldn't be happier. Templates, forms, and handbooks were the reason I joined, not realizing their Live HR advice would give me peace of mind and confidence. Thank you, Sharon, Simon, Kim, Terri and Ed. I have spoken with all of them, and they have guided us in our HR needs.

Nachteile:

The only thing was the name HR Downloads, I love the name Citation better :)

Kommentare: Since [sensitive content hidden] took over as my account rep, I feel he has been very responsive and I understand the menu of options available to our company far better than I ever have before.

Vorteile:

The Live HR advice is always appreciated and top notch. The advisors are quick to respond and knowledgeable in their fields. I have yet to stump them! I also appreciate the template documents and letters that I have used.

Nachteile:

I wish that the training offered was more extensive. It is very HR specific and thus we cannot use it for our industry, as it only applies to a very small department.

Nachteile:

Nothing to report i've used HRDownlads in another company and had nothing but good things to say about it.

Vorteile:

I have been using Citation Canada (formerly HRDownloads) for close to 10 years. I like how they combined best practices with tech tools making all legislative and HR updates easily available. It has helped me keep up to date with all the happenings and serve my staff well. If you are an HR Professional this is a great investment. You earn back in time 10x over.

Nachteile:

None whatsoever. I'm very content with the platform, the content and the compliance aspects of Citation.

Great Documents/ Templates

Vorteile:

Great starting place for document and template creation.

Nachteile:

They are focusing on more services and would rather they stick with their roots.

Kommentare: I have more experience with HR Downloads then I do Citation Canada.

Vorteile:

Takes time to get familiar with everything. More my old gal problem!

Citation Canada Review

Kommentare: We use Citation Canada for HR related new hire training, education and testing. The platform has been effective in what we need it to do.

Vorteile:

It’s an easy to use platform for HR informative training and testing.

Nachteile:

There has been a couple instances of the website not tracking my video views.

Great HR Tool

Kommentare: Great Service, Lots of Documents and Training Courses available. The News and Legislation module is very helpful.

Vorteile:

I love that the training courses are interactive. It helps the employees to be in engaged in the course.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it's hard to find what I want as there are many documents, BUT when I look through all the documents I come across something that I know I will need in the future and I add it to the library so I do not need to look for it again.

Provides crucial HR guidance for smaller business that do not have their own HR department

Kommentare: It has been very positive. It is a valuable resource for our agency.

Vorteile:

The many options they provide. We use the training the most and I look to their provincial updates regularly.

Nachteile:

We would like to be able to load some of our own training onto the platform

Kommentare: This is the best platform for all the legally required training.

Vorteile:

We love the ease of finding any compliance related courses for our employees and assigning them. It would be nice to add a feature to automation when courses expire, so they would be reassigned to employees.

Nachteile:

The reporting function could be better and automation.

Kommentare: Really enjoy it and the customer service is excellent!

Vorteile:

Easy to use and understand almost all parts. Does give financial assistance to non-profit organizations.

Nachteile:

Getting the reports can be confusing sometimes. Would prefer to be able to edit each section of employee file rather then the one only at the top of the page.

Has the required legislative courses needed for onboarding along with numerous choices of others. Love that I can create my own policies and automation.

Not enough fields for employee roster management.

Quality HRIS!

Vorteile:

I really like that HRdownloads has a large training catalogue for various industries. Our employees have found these trainings to be extremely helpful in their professional development.

Nachteile:

At the moment, I have no things that I like least.

Training on the Go with HRdownloads

Kommentare: Good, especially for providing remote training for new hires.

Vorteile:

Remote employees can get trained easily.

Nachteile:

Status changes are not the easiest on a mass change basis.

HR Downloads a life saver

Vorteile:

I work for a global company and finding a program that meets our needs was difficult as many platforms are specific to larger countries (mainly the USA) HR downloads is a pleasure to use because it is Canadian focused and ensures that you remain up to date on the latest changes and notifies you.

Nachteile:

I don't love the look of the platform and I wish there were a way to batch download the certificates for my HRIS records.

Extremely valuable for organizations with a small HR team

Kommentare: Outstanding. I had no idea how easy the system is to use. The customer service and advice is outstanding. They have truly captured the market by offering HR services to small to mid size companies. What a great idea and I love the system is Canadian as well. HR Downloads is worth the cost and we are extremely happy with the product. I would highly recommend this product and service.

Vorteile:

HR Downloads is a true HR platform that addresses and provides information in a number of HR Categories such as: 1. Strategy 2. Employee engagement 3. Employee and Labour relations 4. Total compensation 5. Workplace Safety 6. Labour Laws 7. Learning and Development 8. Information for the HR Director For small to medium sized organizations the variety of online learning programs is a true time and cost saver. I find HR Downloads is priced fairly and the product offerings don't compare. As well the HR Advisors are extremely helpful and return your call quickly. Overall, I have been extremely impressed with HR Downloads and would highly recommend the product.

Nachteile:

The survey - it isn't as easy to use as survey monkey.

The customer service at HR Downloads is outstanding, the quickness of daily customer support given when facing a smaller problem really helps when our employees have specific time scheduled to their training and we can get the problem solved with them that same day. I am often explained the WHY of the problem as well. Which helps build great communication and realistic expectationd between I, the administrator, and the HR Downloads employee.

Nachteile:

As we are now in the new updated Beta version, I feel as though I am still having trouble deciphering where certain items are.
