Really good, does more than just link shortening

Kommentare: Very happy. Everything was working nothing to complain about. Althought I did find a lifetime deal elsewhere and switched. It's still really good software.

Vorteile:

It's simple. Reliable. Useful all in one.

Nachteile:

There's so much competition now in this area. That there's not really much of a differentiating factor between them.

Bitly is the best and popular URL Shortener I ever used, It have best features, analytics, and other Integrations that make URL shortening very easy. And It is very user friendly and It allows to change the custom Alias (slug) for free that other not allow. And Its cutomer support is very good.

Nachteile:

All things are very good but pricing may affect the individuals and other low budget users.

Vorteile:

I like the fact that I am able to shorten long links that appear to be infested full of viruses. I use this for my blog posts, because I am able to change the url to whatever I like. I do really like that feature, and how I can make my web address appear more professional by matching it up to the content.

Nachteile:

I do not like how the payment situation is set up. I make nothing at all from link clicks, while other shorteners online will pay you each time someone clicks the link. I like that set up better!

Fantastic tool for making short pretty URLs

Kommentare: I have used Bitly for many years and I am a premium user of the service. I often use it to make links more easy to save, remember, type in or relay to my clients. I really like the ability to customise the end part of the link so that I can make links easy to remember and relay to clients.

Vorteile:

I like how functional Bitly is in terms of being able to easily create short URLs and also to customise the end part of the URL to make it easy to type in or relay to someone else.

Nachteile:

I sometimes find it is slightly too complicated to create short URLs. Even though it only takes 10-15 seconds I wish they made the dashboard even more intuitive so links could be created in a shorter amount of time.

Kommentare: I've been using Bitly for so long time as I am also a part of a community of volunteeers where aside from our primary service, we also create and publish contents on the web. To keep the text not that lengthy, we use bitly to shorten the URL posted in social media. It never failed me because it preserves the texts that appear in the previews of the main content despite the fact that the original link has been shortened.

Vorteile:

Things I like about Bitly are: -Easy to use -Accessible to screen readers (softwares used by persons with visual impairment) -Accepted in various social media -Makes the URL look professional

Bitly's con is: -You need to pay for a higher plan if you want to maximize all its features

I like bitly because it is very simple, fast and easy to use. Whenever I have a big link I want to share on my social networks I go to bitly to make it shorter plus track analytics about who is clicking the link

Nachteile:

Wish I could keep the short link and change the destination URL, but I guess hit might be a premium feature

Kommentare: Having used it not very frequently, I felt the website was very useful, as it helped shorten my links in absolutely no time. That is what I like about any platform..no hassle problem-solving!

A Decent Link Solution

Kommentare: Overall I have had a good experience with Bitly. I recently upgraded to get the redirect feature but was extremely disappointed to find out that I only get 3 redirects a month. Overall, I don’t think I will paying for a plan again.

Vorteile:

I found Bitly to work extremely well with link customization and analysis. You are also able to redirect links if you are a paid user. It is fairly easy to use with a UI that is not difficult to manage.

Nachteile:

What I disliked most is the fact that the Bitly logo appears in the QR codes that are generated. Upgrading will allow you to customize the ar codes. I also don’t like the fact that there is a monthly limit on redirects.

Vorteile:

Bitly is intuitive and covers all my needs around shortened and custom links. I'm usually creating a custom URL for a poster or flyer. Bitly also creates custom QR codes which are incredibly helpful in the smartphone age. I love being able to track what links are getting the most traffic based on the analytics feature. It helps me analyze my branding.

Nachteile:

The QR codes are proprietary in look - they have the bitly logo in the center.

It is easy for anyone to use this platform and it is ever available for use. There was no time this platform was unavailable or had a downtime.

Bitly is an intuitive platform that we use to create short or customized links to a web page. It generates a short link instantly getting rid of the long ugly links that could occupy very large spaces on our monthly reports, marketing emails, or social media posts. I also like it because I can customize the link to reflect my domain.

Nachteile:

The links generated by the free version look more or less alike. Therefore, some target clients might not click another link that looks like the one they had clicked earlier, thinking it leads to the same site. The paid plan allows users to generate customizable links.

Kommentare: Overall, great experience with Bit.ly! Will continue to use it and haven't found a worthy competitor. It's very affordable with great features. A few bugs sometimes but nothing detrimental. I've used them for a few years now and they continue to add features and grow their business. It's great to see and use! Very easy and user-friendly.

Vorteile:

I've used Bitly for a very long time for multiple companies. It's worth being able to have a short link that clients and consumers can use. I LOVE that you're able to create trackable QR Codes now. I love that you're able to track the analytics thoroughly now. It used to be where you can only see link clicks but now you can see the sources of the link clicks including sites and countries. It's very easy to use. I use Bit.ly daily!

Nachteile:

Sometimes there is a bug where if you change the title with the initial link input - it doesn't always keep the title change and you have to go back and edit the link title. If you're creating a custom back-half without branding - a lot of times the custom back-half is already taken and you're not able to use it. It's worth paying for the upgrade for the branding aspect.

What I saw of the negatives is that it also remains a link shortening site, which seems bad for communication sites such as Facebook and reddit, so from my personal point of view the most negative point is that it is not good to use in all sites, but this does not prevent it from being one of the best link shortening sites on the Internet
