There a few weird glitches that happen occassionally and several people have experienced issues linking their calendar.

OpaConnect is the tool I've been looking for!
Kommentare: OpaConnect has given me a great framework for documenting conversations. This ensures that all parties are on the same page and provides employees with very clear expectations and outcomes.
Vorteile:
I love OpaConnect because it allows me to communicate regularly with a team of consultants who all work remotely. I can easily see what projects they are working on, it helps guide our conversations so they stay on track, and is an easy way to tie individual goals and responsibilities into the bigger picture. OpaConnect allows me to set deliverables and expectations that are clear and provides a structure for more regular, meaningful conversations.
Nachteile:
I would like to see OpaConnect more integrated with my Outlook calendar. While it does place the meeting on my calendar, I don't have insight into open timeframes for both parties when setting up a new meeting.

Performance and Feedback Cycle Refined
Kommentare: Overall, Insights still feels like the right tool for our organization. Things move to quickly to wait for annual evaluations and the interface is simple yet still captures the importance measures of the job. We are glad to be using it and excited to see how cultural will change the more it is used.
Vorteile:
Insights combines and simplifies the performance and feedback cycle. Mission and vision, values and behaviors become regular topics of conversation. using the system is far easier than doing rigorous annual performance reviews. Clicking the buttons fun and easy. It is structured but allow for a lot of commenting which is very helpful. Not intimidating to use.
Nachteile:
Since I already meet with staff weekly, sometimes the monthly meeting feels too frequent. We are not there yet but would like to use the system to tie into compensation. It would be good for the system to have a built-in way to do that.

Kommentare: Overall I would say the software was launched (opa Connect) too soon. I felt like the deliverable was a 'beta' and we were working through the kinks as a customer rather than a usability team. The software has grown but there's still kinks that should have been addressed before anticipating that managers would be using this tool for quarterly reviews. I'd like to see much more dynamic product management, prioritizing fixing some of the above mentioned items, so that the tool could become seamless and therefore more productive. Further, I'd like to hear that UserGroups were invited to try the improvements in a test bed or similar activity. Prove to me that your standards are high and that you value my time as a customer.
Vorteile:
I like the fact that the software is fairly 'light' in that the user interface isn't terribly heavy or requiring of multiple steps to complete a task as do many other programs. Also, I appreciate the different tact of Behind, OnTrack and Ahead as it introduces a fuller conversation - which is ultimately the end goal.
Nachteile:
1) Completing a quarterly review and not having the individual employee review actually complete; bouncing back saying it wasn't done and sending out alerts to mgr and employee. 2) Displaying all the archive information when doing quarterly reviews - introducing visual clutter 3) Ease of finding simple things - last quarter's information 4) Syncing with calendar; Once a quarterly review was set and moved in laptop calendar, the EOY review didn't reschedule as expected. 5) Comment box has no line spacing - which looks like a uni-blob 6) Goals and responsibilities cannot be copied for next year 7) Formatting in the comment box beyond line spacing
Easy Reviews
Kommentare: Overall, I enjoy the softwar and think it is an easy and consistent way to connect with people.
Vorteile:
I like that it tracks feedback month over month; I like that its very user friendly.
Nachteile:
If you click out of a comment before saving, you lose the entirety of the comment. It's also hard to navigate between comments on a review.

The honest feedback has improved- everyone is on the same page of goals and expectations which are set by employees.
The measurements are the best part because the employee defines them and the manager holds them to the employee's own standards- there's no misunderstanding of standards.
Coming to a final rating is great because there's no discrepancy as to what the outcome of your goals/progress is- this is crucial in pay for performance models.
We were able to successfully roll out pay for performance raises using Insights.
Vorteile:
I like the connection between team members- we can see how each person/team is contributing to our 5 year Strategic Plan. I feel the layout is very helpful and self explanatory (for the most part) to new users (i.e. what to write in the empty sections). The shout-outs section is a nice addition for team morale and recognition. I like that the process allows for managers and team members to be on the same page about progress- we utilize this system strongly in our Pay for Performance model that determines pay raises each year. I like the physical documentation of goals, growth, setbacks and feedback. I like that feedback can be requested at any time, from anyone in the organization. Staff love the man throwing confetti at the completion of things!
Nachteile:
Archiving goals was a little tricky when staff moved from one site to another (had a different manager previously than at the time of archive). I had a previous issue with final ratings not showing up, although we pushed the celebration man button at the end of our meeting. I'm not sure how (or if i can) to delete notifications i never completed and are now old (someone requesting 360 feedback but it was a mistake) It can be timely to enter all information/request meetings/send notes back and forth, especially for new or older generation users. It can take away from the face-to-face time.

Vorteile:
It helps to stay organized with documenting performance improvement and tracking quality within the organization. It allows us to keep track of our progress, notes, to do list, track dates, goals, and current status.
Nachteile:
I would like to see a cross from the Quality tracking and the performance improvement side, where at least quarterly, if not monthly we could track our improvement on a Process improvement plan and be able to pick a quality measure and it automatically pull from the Casper (quality) tracking of the MDS, or manually inputted. At this time, we are graphing manually with a separate system.
OpaConnect Great for Alignment & Transparency
Kommentare: Overall I feel that OpaConnect has brought a level of transparency to what we are focused on as an organization and how we all align to the strategic objectives. The tool has also decreased the administrative time of the "review" process as the meet and prep processes are simple and straightforward, which encourages and sustains better conversations between managers and employees.
Vorteile:
#1 favorite component is the "meet" functionality. The pre-meet or "prep" is a great tool for both employees and managers. #2 Fav: Employees can easily align their goals to company strategies creating the elusive line of sight and the tool allows everyone to see how the collective organization is trending toward those strategies. #3 Fav: Core Behaviors (aka values) are included in the review or "meet" process. It keeps them front and center and creates a space to discuss how they are lived (or not) by the individual.
Nachteile:
My only con is the back end. Set up is easy but reporting is challenging. The support team is SO open to customer feedback and share their roadmap so I know this is one area that will see improvement in the near term. From an end user perspective it's pretty easy, clean experience.

Product with easy to use
Kommentare: i have joined nisum technologies few months back and i tried to fill my first quarter skills and learnings. I felt really good while using the application because it has lot of option to describe yourself and felt lucky that i no need to full fill that excel sheet for performance review.
Vorteile:
This software captures more more information about employee who want to describe more and show what are the skills has been used through out the year.
Nachteile:
All things are good but if there is any instruction/demo video how to use the software that would good.

Not my favorite
Kommentare: Since I was already meeting with each of my staff every month, this is a way to codify that, but it doesn't seem to enhance the meetings. If anything, this may make 1:1s less productive as we are having to rate ourselves over and over and over.
Vorteile:
It's visually appealing. I can tell this might be useful for some positions but it doesn't work with everyone. The ratings system becomes meaningless even after using the system for only two 1:1 meetings.
Nachteile:
The ratings system - by the time I've done 12 1:1 meetings with a staff member, they have rated themselves 12 times on the same points. The rating system becomes meaningless. System is not intuitive - no way to delete responsibilities/goals, must archive and then the items still show up every month. Square peg/round hole for many staff members - one size does not fit all. Goals - if one of your goals requires another person to do something for you to accomplish your goal, such as taking over a responsibility, you are destined to fail if they don't hold up their end.

Easy to use for frequent 1-1s
Kommentare: Its a very useful system for keeping track of the team's goals and keeping them on track. If weighted goals is not a required criteria, you can certainly go for it.
Vorteile:
Rating system is simple Setting up meetings & sync up with calendar.
Nachteile:
1. Weighted rating of the goals is not available. All goals are weighed equally, which is not practical. 2. Consolidated rating is not there. 3. Rating for the responsibilities doesn't make much sense as you have goals set for tracking and rating. 4. There are some navigation issues, can't browse through goals one after the other to approve them. Team page doesn't come up after we approve a goal/ update something.

Vorteile:
I love how this allows managers and employees to have the discussions they need to be having, about not just tasks, but also overall company goals and organizational values. If every workplace used this, it would be a very different world!
Nachteile:
The user interface isn't as streamlined or as clean as one might hope for. It's also not so easy to use with alternative input devices (voice recognition software, or with keyboard instead of mouse).

Vorteile:
This app is providing a platform to keep the rating up to date and it's transparency to the user and the administrator.
Nachteile:
it's keeping all the data but it's not systematic. I would like to suggest if you make a systematic way, that would be good.
Needs Improvement in Reporting
Vorteile:
The colors of it made it seem more fun to use while doing your goals and responsibilities.
Nachteile:
The ability to run reports from the admin side is terrible. It is laggy and does not provide the information needed such as email or full name.

Vorteile:
I like that you get to see other people's goals and tasks - it makes me feel like the workplace is more honest and transparent! It also gives me good ideas for ways I can improve.
Nachteile:
I don't love the way you rate yourself on goals/tasks. You only get four choices when rating (behind, on time, ahead, or N/A) but sometimes goals and tasks are more complicated than that. It would be nice if there was a write-in section.

New to Insights
Kommentare: InSights was a little difficult to understand in the beginning. However, after receiving training, everything made perfect sense

I really enjoy that my director can track and send feedback on my goals. .
Nachteile:
Creating Goals at the end of the fiscal year. After my formal review, I was unable to create new goals in the systems.
Not so Useful
Vorteile:
Good Tool to start with, best for organizations with less number of people.
Nachteile:
Giving the ratings as on Track that is not best enough. There would be times where you need to vary from the ones that you had given. Need to give features to Admin, to input the requirements as per Organization. I am not sure if this exists, as I am only an End user.

Kommentare: I am satisfied with the usage and current features. I have included some suggestions in the "Cons" section which I think would be helpful to increase the ease of usability.
Vorteile:
The goal setting, the meeting setup and the responsibilities are all good features which we use regularly. A google calendar invite is automatically added and that is good for remembering.
Nachteile:
I have to navigate back to the home page of my account to add my next goal/responsibility. I think add a goal/responsibility button or navigation has to be made available on the page once we add a goal and we should not navigate to the home page every time. I am hoping this is clear to understand.

I started using this software about 9 months ago when our job switched over to this system for our employee performance evaluations.
It's been very helpful with communicating goals and scheduling one-on-ones with my manager.
Vorteile:
Very easy to navigate and user friendly.
Nachteile:
None that I have come across as of yet as a user.

Very slow and no customization to add ratings
Kommentare: As a manager, I have no option to view all the goals in a glance and no option to approve all the goals of a particular resource.
