First Microfinance bank to use Internet banking application created using Kony

Kommentare: Overall experience is good. Obviously, during the project phase we faced some issues and limitations.

Vorteile:

We have launch the internet banking and mobile banking application developed using Kony. Local vendor and inhouse development team developed the application with close coordination. As a results, we launch first version of our banking application which was a huge success even among computer illeterate customer base.

Nachteile:

Local configurations and setup as per regulatory requirement like taxation is difficult using kony. Most of the logics are being developed in T24 itself.

Revolutionizing Technology by Temenos

Kommentare: The overall experience of Kony is much better than its predecessor i.e Temenos UXP or Edge Connect but the latest product launched by Temenos, known as Temenos Infinity is set to make new benchmarks in the digital industry.

Vorteile:

Kony Quantum, you may also call it a successor of Temenos UXP ( formerly known as Edge Connect) is a rules based IDE with very less server side coding required. Mostly the application is built through plugging in scripting languages like HTML, JavaScript etc. Since the product is developed by Temenos, the integration with T24 Transaction Core Banking Solution through APIs is extremely convenient.

Nachteile:

The User Interface component needs to be further matured since the application development relies heavily on the look and feel these days.

Worst Technology and IDE I have ever worked with

Kommentare: Very Bad. Don't want to work again.

Vorteile:

Nothing as such, They should improve in everything.

Nachteile:

Everything else, features, ease of access, logcat and everything else

Kony

Vorteile:

- Very good to develop simple applications, for different platforms, in a short time - Use javascript, a simple and easy to use language

Nachteile:

- The IDE consumes many hardware resources - It isn't very scalable - To develop big applications, for different platforms or OS, isn't a good option, because is hard to maintain the code

Application platform as a service

Vorteile:

The fact that I can create an application in days rather than months or years, and customize the application as it suits my needs. Both kony mobile fabric and kony visualizer are fast and effective.

Nachteile:

There are some annoying bugs, but customer service is fast and attentive. The pricing model needs to change a bit

This is a wonderful application. I recently started working on this and it's amazing.

Nachteile:

No cons yet, only pros. It's a wonderful software. Must install

It is a IDE based on eclipse, very easy to use.

Kommentare: It was really good for development of javascript code, it autocompletes. the integration of the smartphone with the backend is highly customizable

Vorteile:

It has a preview of de screen you are designing in differents mobile platform and versions. Its an autocomplete javascript editor. You can invoke web services. Access to differents features of the smartphone, like maps, SMS.

Nachteile:

the documentation is poor, it needs to be improved, the actual one is difficult to undestand specially if you are a new user.
