Zettle Was a Godsend

Vorteile:

I no longer use Zettle but when I did it was everything it claims to be! It did everything from in store payments to online payments even On The Go payments! highly Recommend!

Nachteile:

the price change was not a deal breaker but did factor into my change of POS Systems.

Kommentare: Terrible. They PayPal account limitation is ridiculous and their app is terrible. A customer database was only recently added and it is very simple without good reports, and without the ability to upload existing customer information.

Vorteile:

The card reader is inexpensive compared to others. The processing fees aren't bad.

Nachteile:

They are being unreasonable about putting a hold or what they call "Limit" on my PayPal account. They keep asking for information, I provide it and they take days to review it and then ask for more. It has been way too long that my legitimate business has not been able to withdraw MY money, or process credit card payments from my customers.

We highly recommend Zettle!

Ditching PayPal

Kommentare: I enjoyed the low cost processing fees but PayPal Zettle lacks in so many ways and is limited in features.

Vorteile:

Zettle by itself would be an excellent concept but I absolutely loathe having to deal with PayPal. I have a list of complaints as long as my leg with PayPal !

Nachteile:

The card processor and terminal tends to be very seedy and has technical issues more often than not. PayPal is very frowned upon these days and my customers do NOT like using it !

Streamlining sales and inventory even while you're awake

Kommentare: When we install the people zero it was free. As we get a long way you realize that there's more product and software to update and so forward. We begin to buy these many different softwares to keep up with our inventory or management. Everything money they kept us experience has been easy. Fast learning and it keeps you on track

Vorteile:

They keep track of all the products inside your store and outside the store doesn't matter what anybody says. All you have to do is look at the data and honesty is kept within you and your boys and you make money

Nachteile:

Can't believe it's so free. Hopefully it's still doing great years from now. Are they improve? I know there's more room for improvement as far as I know. Love it!

Hold on payments

Kommentare: Easy to use. Very user friendly. Only Con paypal will hold money up to 2 weeks. Very frustrating for a small business

PayPal Zettle is an easy-to-use app and POS system that allows you to accept contactless payments on your phone with the available card readers and terminals. I use the app to manage my product inventory for an art gallery, create and redeem gift cards for my store and I like that you can view sales reports in real time.

Nachteile:

PayPal Zettle doesn't include a payment gateway option for taking payments over the phone.

Zettle is ok but not for PayPal working capital!

Kommentare: The zettle POS is ok. The first one stopped working after a week so I had to wait for a replacement. As far as PayPal goes, the credit card processing and deposits are quick and easy and you have a lot of options. However, overall, I have to give them a zero because of the bait and switch.

Vorteile:

Ease of use and deposit speed. The handheld payment terminal connects to my phone via Bluetooth. I just opene the zettle app on my phone, put in the items or charges and the customer uses a small keypad to pay using tap or chip (it doesn't have a magstrip reader tho).

Nachteile:

We do not like the fact that we feel like it was a bait and switch when it comes to the PayPal-iZettle and PayPal's working capital loans. As told to, we used the platform over one year and met the income amount by almost double but could not get the working capital loan. For two years now PayPal has been giving a run-around about this issue saying PayPal doesn't recognize the zettle pos sales as a sale it can deduct payment from but they are working hard to have a fix very soon. As of today, after many calls, the still have not fixed the issue so I feel I was lured in by promise of a working capital loan if I met certain requirements, then I did everything right and boom, bait and switch, no loan for zettle users.

For what it does - it works well

Vorteile:

It's easy. The PayPal platform is a trusted and secure method of moving money from card transactions into bank accounts. Its nice to keep everything consolidated. The price of the equipment was very reasonable. if you use PayPal to make on-line transactions, you are paying the same type of fees, so it didn't seem that different when using a card. The hardware was easy to use and worked well. I never really had any issues.

Nachteile:

I was a small-time user, so maybe larger business can get better transaction rates, but the 3.5% fee and $0.49 transaction fee makes it on the expensive side. Credit card processing is-what-it-is and that make sit have when your selling $10 items. For more expensive transactions, the $0.49 was less impactful.

my opinion on paypal

With Paypal, you can pay on many websites, send and receive money almost anywhere in the world, create invoices and also link your visa card to facilitate transactions.

Nachteile:

The only drawback I find with Paypal is the fact that it doesn't exist in certain African countries like Togo for example, but apart from that everything's fine.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately they changed ownership over lockdown and we found the new system to be really terrible. It used to be great but unfortunately the table management was ruined and became unusable for restaurants.

Review of PayPal Zettle

Vorteile:

Most likeable feature is its ease of use for both sender and receiver. Most likeable feature is that money is received instantly and the transaction can be done with or without a card reader.

Nachteile:

What I like least is if users have a limitation in terms of only sliding credit cards through a card reader, then there can be some processing issues. Also, it would be extremely efficient if there could be an automated processing receipt generated to send the customer once transaction has been completed.

Easier way to keep your money safe

Payments are coming in well, although sometimes it takes a little while..I tell myself that with the cryptography payment system, it will be fine, also, all the advantages and disadvantages will be mentioned on the mode of use of PayPal and Zettle.
