Amazing tool for secure connection at work

Vorteile:

I can configure and internal network in my work with this free app easily and fast, so in this way with could manage files vinculated to processes that only my unit have to know, and this app is fantastically because all the files and the information is secure and only can be used by a limited number of employees.

Nachteile:

It can take a little time for the people to get used to this app, because it works making a direct connection only with a few number of computers, and for some people that can be annoying, and sometimes can reduce speed of your broad band.

Excellent tool for teamwork

Vorteile:

This tool is very useful to be connected direct and without interruptions with your teamwork, because it allows you to have and secure connection and share the files direct to the people who is working with you, and you can watch simultaneously how is the work doing and make changes and corrections in real time.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the app can be a little unstable, and maybe can closed without warning, but this a very common issues of the GNU app, but to be honest that does not happen frequently.

A private network for your office

Vorteile:

Using Freelan in my office we can set a private personal network to share information that has to be secure and restricted to other dependencies, we limitated the number of user and gives permission only to four people to edit the documents, in this way we do not have to worry for any external interference in our job.

Nachteile:

This app does not filter the internet connection, so if you are going to implement this app you have to buy a VPN services, because once you are connected to the internet you will be vulnerable to external attacks in your computer.

I am a very old lady, and I do not trust on social networks, so I start searching and find this app and was great, I can have a perfect communication of my two sons who are far away of my house, with have great talks, share informations and talk about finances and money, all this through a secure way and with this awesome app.

Nachteile:

To configure the app you have to know a little about programming and configuration of software, if you are like that I do not know anything about, you will have to pay someone to do that for you.

Nachteile:

For me this app is great, I have no intervention of external users, or annoying publicity like that appear in the social networks this is direct communication with the important people of your life.

This app gave me the possibility to make a direct connection between my family and me, becuase I work away from my house, and with this app I can have constant communication with my wife and daughters, always secure and with no interventions of strange people.

Nachteile:

I like a lot, but I think that they must offer a free proxy option, that can be an enormous contribution for people like who cannot pay for a Premiun VPN service.

I was very difficult to me set the specifications of my network, because the amount of tutorials and customer support of this tool is very scarce, and it is very difficult start using this app without knowing anything of programming.

I never thought find an app like this for free in the internet, it was surprising and an amazing experience because once the network is set you can have your information secure and share directly with the people who is working with you, without worriying for interference or lost of data or information, this tool is great to have direct connection with the people who is working with you in a project.

This is an app of network and secure connection but is not a VPN, so if you are using it with your internet connection you can still be vulnerable to some attacks of external people through the internet.

It is very easy to configure, in only four or five steps you can have a private network to share files and information and be connected with the right people of your office to improve your work and keep the information safe.

We use this app in the institution that I work because we manage confidential information and to keep it secure with use Freelan, because we set a closed network where only specific computer has access to the files, and the possibilty of edit it and modify, in this way we can be sure that nobody can intefere in a work o modify anything that is not public.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately that does not come with a VPN include, so when your are browsing in the internet you can stiil be vulnerable to external attacks.

Vorteile:

A guy like with a huge family and who works in personal business, need the way to have secure connections to communicate with their friends and family, I find it for free with Freelan, with this I can easily configure a private network and direct connection with the people of my family, with no interrumptions and working very well.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately they do not offer a free version of the software to browse anonymously through the internte, if you want to use it, you have to pay for it.

Vorteile:

This app allows you to make secure connections with the computers of your friends and family, having secure connections between all the computers and avoiding possible interference of external users.

Nachteile:

This is not a VPN for external connection, I mean you cannot browse through the internet with this app, becuase it only works for direct connections not for external connections.

Peer to peer connection with my daughter

Vorteile:

Have a direct connection with my daughter who studies far away from and I always aware of her behavior, with this app I can monitoring what is she doing and speak frequently with her, without the intervention of any other person and with an easy configuration of the app.

Nachteile:

I have nothing bad to say about it, maybe they can provide to the user a VPN for internte browsing, that could be amazing
