Great when working on server drives!
When I use Hard Disk Manager to re-partition a server drive I don't ever have to worry about whether or not it will mess up my server. It works great every time!
Sometimes I will get an error when working with a drive that has bad sectors but that is very rare.
Paragon HDM is professional software, for the professionals!
Paragon's Hard Disk Manager does exactly what the software title implies. You can us it to perform almost any task that software is able to accomplish involving your data storage devices, from backups to partitioning, cloning your SSD, SSHD, or HDD, even moving your OS to a new drive. The software has options help you recover in the future if needed, like create a recovery drive so if your system crashes you can easily use Windows PE to get going again, or Paragon to look at files and copy them to a spare hard drive in situations where the data is there but Windows cannot access it suddenly - an issue that can happen from time to time, especially if you are using Windows Insider Preview builds, it is beta software after all...
Paragon's Hard Disk Manager is reliable and efficient, with everything under one hood instead of needing multiple apps to. There are wizards to help the user accomplish many of the tasks the software is capable of performing. It is difficult to navigate the GUI though and do things manually, as it uses jargon understood by experts and even proprietary names for some processes. Important!! The Hard Disk Manager software line is professional software, for the professionals. If you don't know what you are doing, don't risk losing all your data or making Windows unbootable. Instead, try out any decent free software like AOMEI or Minitool, or install HDM on a PC you can let crash, and learn before installing Paragon's utility on a main system.
Flawlessly transfers Windows to a new drive, wizards are pre-populated with the settings you'll likely want, but still allows you to change variables to match non-standard parameters. Most anything you could want software to do for your storage drives, Paragon Hard Disk Manager will do and do it reliably and efficiently.
...but only if you can figure out how to make it do what you want. Difficult to understand terms, cluttered GUI. Expensive, when there are other software options to do the same thing more or less, many of which are free.
Does not work on newer systems for imaging
Kommentare: I wanted to use the RMB to clone the entire HD like their old version only to run into problems sing the functionality that made this product great. I am very disappointed in the company and the failure to fix what should have worked. Purchased the full version and most of the functionality is for file backup which is not what I wanted to use.
Interface was simple but only good to back up files and not for imaging the HD as it claims.
The RMB functionality does not work as claimed. I have been waiting for a fix for 5 months now still with no response from the company or tech support. Purchased full version with the RMB and can't use it.
Good offline backups except when something goes wrong
Kommentare: I was trying to backup a drive with several bad sectors I did not know about. After 30 minutes and only being ~40% complete on a 80 gb backup I figured out something wasnt right. It never prompted that it was failing to read or offered to skip a bad file.
Fast backups. Easy to use. Excellent boot recovery options. Options for baremetal recovery (but I have not had the opportunity to use them)
Does not handle drives with bad sectors well. When you want to backup available data skipping bad sectors to simply recover what you can this is not the best software for that.
Paragon Hard Disk Manager - Reliable Backup Software
Kommentare: We needed a backup platform for the handful of servers we manage in house. Paragon Hard Disk Manager has been rock solid for us.
Paragon Hard Disk Manager is easy to set up and works reliably. We've been using it for over 3 years and have been able to backup and recover user files as well as virtual servers when needed.
I've had no issues with Paragon Hard Disk Manager.
manageable, multitasking and reliable
Kommentare: I got the help I needed to make my backups of the main hard drive, also allowed me to learn new methods to perform different tasks that help accelerate the performance of my computer.
The high composition of various tools that allow and complement the performance of the required activities, apart from being compatible with Windows 10 and the innovative technology of backup images allows the user to have a high performance technology and guaranteed stability to protect the system and data at both the sector and file levels.
For older computers it is not recommended since due to its RAM performance consumption, it is not feasible for users.
Complete Data Management Tool
Kommentare: Very thorough package, once installed it can handle any data management issue I could conceive myself having.
Despite the name the software works across all data storage and has tools to complete any task a normal user would wish to. There's no need to use anything else with HDM15.
It offers enough features that it can be a little daunting for inexperienced users, but that shouldn't put you off.
Don't Bother with it
Kommentare: With this I managed to loose everything on my laptop. Good thing I had a backup from Acronis.
There are none. The worst software I have ever used
- It would not work. Their solution.gave me refund. Use Acronis instead along with DiskDirector
