Einfach anzuwendende und leistungsstarke Grafik-Software

4,0 letztes Jahr

It does not.

Vorteile:

Die Einfachheit. Spiegelt sich leider auch in allem anderen wieder.

Nachteile:

Es funktioniert nicht wie geplant. Der Kundenservice verschickt Boomer-Anleitungen.

Design for Dummies. Great tool to simply graphic design and branding, for a very good price.

5,0 vor 2 Monaten Neu

Kommentare: Great experience. Canva became one of my favorite tools. The Pro version totally worth it, it costs less than 200 dollars per month and makes me save time and money. What I like the most about Canva is that makes design accesible to anyone.

Vorteile:

Very easy to use. What I like the most is that Canva allows me to make quick desgins for my personal projects and create fancy posts/stories for my Instagram account without having any knowledge on graphic design. Also, other aspect I really like is that is good for team work, so my assistant and I can work both in the same projects. Great quality-price ration.

I love canva for the ability to open up creaitivity skills for not so artistic like me.

Nachteile:

The way team member can use asset for free but free plan user couldn't is unfair to your business and to other users. Finding a premium member is easy, having a skilled teams fully equipped can exhaust and remove credits and exclusives rights if they export it for free. It is crucial to get every teammates an access to exclusives rights of premium member. I don't know if i make sense

An inspiring program for quick graphic work

5,0 vor 3 Monaten

Kommentare: Simple and inexpensive tool in contrast to the competitor. It's just perfect for small businesses. On the one hand because it's a great price and on the other hand because it's extremely easy to use.
However, there are also limits to this tool and for work that has a higher graphical requirement, you can't really get any further with Canva, for example. Editing photos is only possible to a limited extent in this tool.
All in all, it's a great tool for graphic work for postings, a great source of inspiration and super easy to use for quick work, even in the app.

Vorteile:

+ With the Pro version you have access to an extremely large number of images and functions + app version available (perfect for fast graphic work) + One-click background removal

Nachteile:

- limited in its functions when editing your uploaded photos

Better than Photoshop

5,0 vor 2 Monaten Neu

Kommentare: I used Photoshop to generate images for my website and podcast before trying Canva. While the costs wasn't that much different, the ease and speed at which I can do what I need is chalk and cheese. Canva suits my needs because my needs aren't that advanced. The main thing I like using is background remover - which in Canva's case is just about foolproof. I just hope they could fix the drop and drag ability to file projects - and bring in a better resizing option - but if you're looking for something to work up images for websites, then don't go past this. Give it a try - using a paid plan so you can use the editing features.

Vorteile:

Easy to use Background remover is just the best

Nachteile:

Hard to resize images Folder filing is clumsy

Kommentare: Very positive. Don't see a need to explore any other products out there as canva meets my needs beautifully.

Vorteile:

I'm not a great graphic designer, so I love that Canva helps me take some very basic ideas in my head and turn them into something that I could never do on my own. Love the templates and magic features that help me look more professional than I really am.

Nachteile:

The organization system... Wish it were a little more intuitive to access folders and organize designs quickly. Also, wish it were easier to delete a design completely from within the design itself (if there is a way, I haven't discovered it yet).

Canva General Review

5,0 vor 4 Jahren

Kommentare: Canva is to my opinion the best software that can be used to create and publish any graphic design on the go. Publishing on social media has never been that easy, no need to calculate the image dimensions (Width x Height) set by different social media platforms... Canva does that automatically for you.

Vorteile:

- Canva is so easy to use with beautiful and instinctive UI design, great user experience too. - It has a free version with readily available design templates which just needs to be customized according to your liking. - It's a relatively cheap software compared to others in the same category. - Canva has mobile applications too where you can create designs on the go and it syncs all your created designs created, irrespective of the platform you used. - Canva makes it so easy to create our social media posts for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn as well as posters we use to advertise offline as well as presentations during student/faculty training. - Besides our company, Canva is widely used among content creators (e.g Bloggers, YouTubers to create video thumbnails) hence a large audience uses this which influenced our decision to choose Canva as a photo design software.

Nachteile:

- Repetitive designs might be found across the web as everyone uses the same design templates.

User Since They Were Young

5,0 vor 4 Jahren

Kommentare: When I was a fledgling independent designer, I needed a design solution that gave me much of the power of Adobe Illustrator, but without the cost. I also wanted something that didn't require me to install software on my machine – aka cloud-based. After seeing a post from Guy Kawasaki, who was evangelizing for the company, I decided to try Canva out. Over the years, the company has added loads of useful features that helped me decide to start all my designers off with Canva rather than app software. Also, having teams and a brand kit available are a boon for creating designs for our own in-house work.

Vorteile:

I started my marketing business with the idea that I'd grow it with remote staff. I realized that meant I'd need to find a design solution that gave me the power of Illustrator without the cost and the necessity if installing software. Enter Canva, the cloud-based designer's Swiss army knife. With Canva, I can be in Buenos Aires, add a member to my team in Los Angeles, and get them straight to work...regardless of whether they're subscribed to Adobe's suite. Furthermore, the Canva interface has gotten much more robust over the years: smart guides, excellent export options, direct access to stock images – so the need for us to turn to Adobe is less and less.

Nachteile:

Generally, the Canva team has really built an excellent product, so there's not much I can complain about. However, there is one small, nuanced thing I'd really like. With security and privacy becoming so important now, I would love to have two-factor authentication through an authenticator app. Canva does have 2FA through a text message, but my team travels a lot and our phones have been lost or stolen often. But we all have 1Password on our computers to generate security codes, which would have saved time, so adding an authenticator option for 2FA would be incredibly useful.

Excellent for "on-the-fly" design without the burden of $$$ software

4,0 vor 3 Jahren

Kommentare: I use canva all the time. Not just for business but also for quick and easy personal things like birthday party invites, social media graphics for personal feeds, and I even designed last years holiday postcards from my family in Canva! It does not replace Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign for more complex projects, but it's amazing for probably 80% of the design most people need.

Vorteile:

Canva is perfect for designers and non-designers alike. With Canva there is no longer ANY excuse to layout anything in Word, got it? It's easy to use, has all the basic elements you could need to create nearly all visual or print materials! Need graphics for emails? Check! Social media? Check! Postcards? CHECK. This is perfect for those who need light but flexible design options without the financial crush or learning curve of full blown Adobe products.

Nachteile:

There's really nothing to dislike. Its' affordable, it's ay to use, it has plenty of options for elements and you can add your own if you want...

Canva Pro is Great, Basic is Horrible

5,0 vor 3 Jahren

Kommentare: My overall experience with Canva is that it is excellent for anyone looking to create art--especially those who don't have artistic abilities. It is wonderful for marketing, advertising, and basic image editing. You can make things such as Christmas cards or any type of card for that matter. I have made wonderful social media content on Canva. In fact, social media content is one of my main reasons for using it. I have made beautiful graphics to design T-shirts to sell online. I mean, really, as long as you can think of something creative, you can do it.

Vorteile:

I like Canva because I am not technical enough for Photoshop. I paid for a Photoshop subscription for an entire year and never figured it out. Canva on the other hand is affordable for the pro subscription and it's relatively easy to navigate for someone who's not a true artist or graphic designer. The templates are truly a huge help for me. I rely on them to edit them and make my own art based on the pre-offered templates, images, and fonts. I love making gorgeous Christmas cards on Canva. They have come out beautiful every year.

Nachteile:

Without paying for Pro, you're really limited to what you can do. I've had a few issues when using basic when trying to save photos and them not being the correct size. In basic, you can't resize anything, which is ridiculous. To me, image resizing is one of the most basic things you can do with a photo. Also, anything you could possibly want is needed with a Pro account. One thing this software failed me for was resume templates. Although the template looked beautiful on Canva itself, it was not realistic when using it for an actual usable resume.

Incredibly useful tool for everything related to quick graphical output for social media

5,0 vor 3 Jahren

Kommentare: Canva feels like you took all the most used tools from Illustrator or CorelDraw, cut them down to basics, make them easy to use, combine it with some simple video editing features and add tons of templates and all the exporting options you could need. I create mainly content for social media and simple print flyers for our company and it does the job absolutely great. Of course you have to keep in mind that for more complex projects you should use more complex software, but for anything quick and simple this tool is ideal. When you use or get inspired by templates, it can make your graphical stuff look professional without much effort.

Vorteile:

It is incredibly easy to use when you need to do something quick and you don't want to use more complex tools like CorelDraw/Adobe products. It has tons of templates which you can use directly or can be used for inspiration for your own stuff. What I like the most that you have already recommended sizes of different posts for social and print media, which are predefined. You can quickly switch between different sizes and adjustments are super easy. I also like that I can work with video and decently animate pictures. All the tools which you would probably need for simple and medium complex projects not only for social media. Also, the smartphone app is really useful, for some minor operations when you are on the go.

Nachteile:

As far as I know, there is nothing I could complain about. It has everything I need for quick creation. It is not usual that you can find a tool which really does everything you would expect.

I love Canva, and you should too!

5,0 vor 2 Jahren

Kommentare: I LOVE THIS SOFTWARE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO IS FLUSTERED. Whether you are in media, film, graphic design, or business owner you need to create quick and easy flyers. Canva is the right software for you!

Vorteile:

This software has been game-changing for me. I own my business and do videography work on the side and this is a software I use daily. What I like the most about this software is easy to use and fast to catch on to. Photoshop was so discouraging trying to figure out all the settings from scratch, but Canva can* teaches you the basics, provide templates, and graphic elements, and you can build from there. They offer blogs about some graphic design basics that you can read off the site or the app. One of the main features I love about Canva that keeps me in the pro-version is exporting to different resolutions. I'm able to make one brand poster and change it into a flyer, Instagram post, video, etc. This feature saves you so much time and helps get a lot of brand awareness out. AND IT'S SUPER AFFORDABLE FOR PRO VERSION! You are doing a disservice to yourself by not getting pro. The Free version has so many features but the Pro version makes it so much for efficient and it makes a difference in productivity.

Nachteile:

I guess the only thing I would say that I like the least about this software, is that it's not respected as a skill. I find it very narrow-minded because it can achieve just as much as Photoshop and maybe more as a beginner but the software does get a lot of hate. I love the software and I highly recommend it but I'm not sure what advice I can give to the Canva team to change that stigma.

My Daily Branding Tool

5,0 letztes Jahr

Vorteile:

Everything. I've been using Canva for a long time, starting for when I worked for a non-profit and we needed a cheap graphic design tool. They offered a free pro account to nonprofits so I was sold. Fast forward 2 years and I had built every one-pager, logo, flyer, web graphic + on Canva. Their branding feature makes it too easy to brand every graphic. I filter everything through Canva (labels, stickers) just because it's so dang easy to use. Also, it's where I fell in love with graphics and realized I had a real knack for design. I also thought I was terrible, but Photoshop was just to robust of a learning curve for me. I now use Canva for my personal business daily and I just started using the 'post to pinterest' feature they have. The posting and download in different file types feature is ridiculously time saving.

Nachteile:

The only thing that comes to mind is when I create multiple graphics in one 'document', and then I go to schedule a post with one of those graphics. You can't go back into that document until it has posted. Although I understand, it does shift how I organize my posts to accommodate this issue.

CANVA 2.0: A Step Sideways

4,0 vor 6 Jahren

Kommentare: The original Canva 1.0 rates all 5 Stars. Easy to use, easy to see the various templates that beginners/advanced users wanted to find. Easy to select text elements and shapes..
For Canva 2.0? Take away a star across the board (4 stars.). They decided to not leave well enough alone. I can only find two improvements in a product that really didn't need improving, and they left out a notable chance to improve the app, by making image resizing a free, standard feature. That feature has become almost essential in 2018, and making it a premium feature is a shame..
Canva 2.0 buries the most often-used menu items (Shapes/Lines/Charts/Icons/Images) behind an unrelated menu option. If you want shapes, lines, or charts you'll need to click on "images". Then, scroll down the left side of the screen to find the elements you are searching for, and because they are now lumped together, get ready to scroll for awhile.
Despite the improved wider left side menu, using Canva 2.0 is a slower process than before.

Vorteile:

Canva 2.0 remains the standard of excellence in online graphics creation for beginners through intermediate skill levels. Canva 2.0 widens the left-side margins of the app, allowing images and items you are searching for to appear larger on the desktop version. Once you find the "Find Templates" menu selection, you indeed have a VERY nice selection of graphics templates organized into a wider variety of categories than before. If you peek at the APPS icon in the lower left, you'll see a large selection of great tools such as animation and gif creation, transparent backgrounds, image resizing, larger stock photo library etc., but they require the paid per month subscription.

Nachteile:

Removal of the template selection screen. Asking the user to guess what the exact template style is by typing in an expression or description of the template, is a needless step backwards, all in pursuit of a cleaner looking interface.. If you want to enter your own design dimensions (say 1280x7200 pixels) the box for that is gone. Yes, FIND TEMPLATES is quietly there on the left side of the screen, but I didn't notice it until I had used Canva 2.0 nearly a dozen times. This could end up being better than Canva 1.0 if they install a guide for newcomers, showing users where they've moved these commonly used tools to.... It's a bit conceited when designers believe their products are so well engineered that they think they need no instructions.
