Kommentare: My overall experience with Site24x7 has been really positive. It's a reliable tool that does exactly what we need—monitor uptime and performance across our websites and servers. While there’s a learning curve with some advanced features, once you get the hang of it, it becomes an essential part of managing our online presence. It’s given us peace of mind and saved us a lot of time troubleshooting potential problems.

Great medium-business solution with minimal time investment

Kommentare: This is a great solution for an IT department that can't dedicate a sole resource to configuring and maintaining a monitoring solution. The implementation was easy and intuitive, pre-sales support was very helpful, and the information presented to us gives us a clear view of our environment.

Vorteile:

The hosted platform makes it easy to monitor our environment while not having to manage the platform itself.

Nachteile:

There's no virtual appliance version of the on-premise poller, so we have to maintain another server onsite to perform on-prem actions. A self-updating appliance would provide a hands-off method to poll internal resources without adding to our management load.

Nachteile:

The UI is a little confusing at first, but relatively easy to navigate after spending some time in it.

Kommentare: As a server administrator, it is a must have tool that let me go home with peace of mind , knowing that if there is an issue it is sure that I will be informed, even before it scalates!

The capacity of monitor so many parameters on our servers and even our UPS!

I would like that the courses and tutorials were in spanish.

1. 1 minute polling in all monitors.2. Can add multiple webhooks for different type of alerts.3. Good third party integrations.4. Inexpensive as compared to competitors.

Nachteile:

1. Lacks multiple configuration profiles for monitors2. Need more integrations with incident management platforms like Opsgenie and Betteruptime.3. The plugins inside server monitors, like Nginx, and MySQL uses extra monitors without giving much information compared to server monitors.

Kommentare: Great overall application and service experience with support team as well, this is technician and user friendly cloud based monitoring solution

Vorteile:

Service monitoring (individual services on Win or linux w/alert via threshold) automation features (reboot weekly, scripts powershell etc..) and bulk actions are the best!

Nachteile:

some advanced monitor cost can add up for thing like APM and SQL but are also very good value, but are additional add-ons to standard SQL of IIS server monitors

Kommentare: Overall site 24*7 is best tool to monitor all feature together. Easy to configure and use.

Vorteile:

Nachteile:

In dashboards color notification for entire node down and node with particular application down are same. We are not able to conclude whether entire node is down or some application. There must be different colour indication.

It is an intuitive tool, easy to use, excellent documentation of each of its monitors, real-time telemetry, extensive catalog of integrations, almost immediate manufacturer support

so far none, however the prices of some monitors are rising, it is something to investigate before making the purchase

Great server and service monitoring tool, wouldn't run my business effectively otherwise!

Kommentare: Site24x7 is solving the issue of unexpected shutdown of VM, or unexpected termination of critical services on the VM causing customer downtime.By being able to see potential issues due to resource constraints, or be alerted to unexpected service failures, we're able to proactively action resolutions for customers, increasing customer satisfaction.

Vorteile:

Site24x7 is like having a set of eyes watching your critical resources for you, 24x7. I can't imagine running my PaaS business without it, as I'll be operating blind. The automated scripts also enable condition-based self-healing of services which assist in maintaining a very high uptime.

Nachteile:

None - wish I've found it sooner as it has improved customer satisfaction.

Good monitoring tool for our Internet, Web Apps, and serrvers

Kommentare: Good experience. We use it just for the monitoring of our critical servers and applications. We get notified almost as soon as outages happen and we also get another notification when the app/ site is back up online.

Vorteile:

I like that we receive the alerts as soon as any of the critical servers and apps go offline. It also alerts us when our main Internet connection is down.

Nachteile:

It is very hard to recover the password once the person who set up the service is no longer with the organization. This has happened to me and I had to ask the ex-employee for the code he received on his phone to be able to recover the password. The customer service can't do much to try to verify that you are another employee and try to help you with resetting the password in any other way.

Excellent product/service

Kommentare: Overall we are very happy with this product and all the different options offered by it. We recommend it to any IT personnel.

Vorteile:

We have been using Site 24x7 for about 10 years. We are very happy with the features it has to offer, which are way too much more than what we need.

Nachteile:

The price is a bit high for the amount of monitors that we need. Sometimes, we set the monitor not to alert us (scheduled maintenance, service restarts) and we still get the notifications, meaning credits are used.

We Rely on Site24x7 to Protect our PPC Investments

Vorteile:

Site24x7 does a good job of monitoring our website uptimes, makes it easy to set things up for multiple users to get alerts via email, SMS, and phone, and is very cheap considering the cost of having our website down while we're running PPC ads.

Nachteile:

No complaints - it's exactly what I need in this service. If anything, it has too many options that I don't need, but that's ok.

TAS Review

Kommentare: We are using Site24x7 in our daily work and it is doing what we expect for this such of tool. We are using since 2020 and we are starting a new project for which we think also to use it.

Vorteile:

I like the large panels of plugins available and the ease to deploy Site24x7 agents

Nachteile:

USer and Organisation management which is really tricky to understand and to use to simply delete a user in my organisation.

Kommentare: Access to the platform is fast, secure and our team has full command of the platform. The results in our daily lives are incredible. We also use it on our cell phones and this is a differentiator for the field team.

Simplicity, efficiency and economy. This is what we were looking for and this is what we received over 2 years ago

Nachteile:

I didn't find any videos on YouTube in Portuguese.

Excellent value at very low cost

Vorteile:

I got really amazed by the number of supported services and the myriad of configuration settings you can manage on each service. Even if it makes the software a little difficult to set up at first, you can manage lots of variable to make it suit your needs.

Nachteile:

As you have lots of settings available, some times you get puzzled were to configure it properly, for instance when setting up notifications groups/teams. But it is completely manageable, and you can reach your goals using different paths.

Vorteile:

I used both server and website monitoring. It is a user-friendly monitor tool that anyone can use without difficulty. I did not receive a fake alert or notification. I can easily analyze CPU, memory, disk, and swap memory in real time. In server monitoring, enabling both port monitoring and process monitoring is highly beneficial for identifying issues efficiently.

Nachteile:

I reached customer support recently, Customer support is slow.

We use site24x7 to monitoring our cloud infrastructure on AWS. We have drastically reduced downtime by being able to intervene in advance thanks to the alarm thresholds set on site24x7
