They do a solid job notifying us of changes, even if they're changes being made by others such as phone carriers.
Automatic delay does not seem to work or when you press it the order goes into exception as the FOC is past due. More debugging on the delay activation part might be in order.

Bandwidth is outstanding!
Vorteile:
The customer service team are very friendly and professional. Dealing with Bandwidth is a breeze and that makes my life easier.
Nachteile:
Response to critical issues is sometimes lacking which delays our ability to service our customers. Overall, great service and experience!!

911 is a separate module and requires you to add the numbers a second time. Cannot get CSR data readily.

I own an IT MSP and hosted PBX company. I've been using Bandwidth.com for about a year now, coming from VoIP Innovations and Telnyx. I signed a 2 year contract and overall I'm satisfied. The rates are very low, and the network is very reliable in my experience. Customer support is average. If you call in for support you won't get much help as you're usually directed to send in a support ticket via email or their website.
Nachteile:
Lack of features. If you're only needing origination, termination and E911 then Bandwidth.com is perfect in that area. Coming from other carriers like VoIP Innovations and Telnyx, who offer many additional features that Bandwidth.com lacks.. Email to fax, and SMS to email to name a couple.. Bandwidth does offer SMS but you have use their API to implement it, so if you aren't a programmer, good luck. Due to the lack of features available, I still subscribe to a couple of other carriers for services that Bandwidth.com does not provide which is unfortunate.
Must have for all musicians!
Kommentare: As I said in the first part, I had a great summer with using this app during summer travel around Europe, I've met with a lot of great musicians with a wide range of genres and improved my musicial skills and get socialized by only using this app and it was all free! I will absoulutely suggest this app to my friends!
Vorteile:
This app basically made my summer amazing! While doing my summer trip around europe, I've connected and jammed with a lot of great people thanks for Bandwidth! It has a very simple user interface which showes the musicians wants to jam on a map, and you can easly get connect with them and have great time with! It provides to the users to see the level of the musicians, so I can say that it's for all music lovers, from beginner to professional!
Nachteile:
Unfortunately, the region where I actually live (Budapest, Hungary) I am the only user of this app and so till now I can not connect with any other users in my city yet. But I'm hoping that it will be published soon and I will find my permanent band by using this app!
Amazing VOIP service
Vorteile:
Super easy to use and it has amazing voice quality, and a ton of amazing features I probably will never use.
Nachteile:
The software is a bit complicated if your new to this sort of stuff. With a bit of research it is super easy to use!

Well, it's not a 'software' per se but yes the Bandwidth software/customer portal and ancillary services we obtain from Bandwidth are all top notch. The customer teams we work with are excellent as well and help us to get the job done.
Nachteile:
The Bandwidth portal could be made a bit more user friendly, with more intuition as to how to utilize all of the available features?
Really good service and product is great
Vorteile:
Everything about customer relations is really good. Pricing and network coverage is really good. Really fast to provision new DIDs. Reliable network Easy to port DIDs. It's nice to have regular updates on order status.
Nachteile:
No support for collect calls They can't guarantee calls quality on toll free numbers in Canada Web portal lack a bit of polish (multiple logins for different proucts, weird alignments sometimes, options that are "not available", but still shown...). API is XML based
Support has been great, new interface creates challenges, Porting could use more regular updates.
Kommentare: Ease of management and a dashboard for my network.
Vorteile:
I like being in control and having the ability to manage a lot of items that would typically not be at my finger tips with other solutions.
Nachteile:
I would like to be able to add IP addresses and provision myself, the support process is fairly flexible but this activity is sometimes an emergency and having that ability would remove some administrative load as well as add flexibility.

Ease of use. Well thought out. This is one of the easiest things to navigate and gives you excellent control over your account.
Nachteile:
I really don't have any Cons. It is well thought out and intuitive. It is much easier to use the comparable products.
Stripe for Cell Phones
Vorteile:
- The documentation and API service adds phone connectivity to most apps in under 10 lines of code. It's kind of incredible. - It's a pay as you go service, so users don't need to worry about paying for unused subscriptions - It's also cheap
Nachteile:
- The dashboard systems are hard to navigate. I only use the texting and phone number API, but it seems like I'd need to create a new account for a 911 API. It's strange.
Bandwidth does exactly what we need
Kommentare: Overall, it's a been a very positive experience. We have received exceptional service in almost every instance where needed. Even when Bandwidth's services were DDOS'd in September of 2021 (as were several other providers during the year), they engaged us and kept us up to date with what was happening. We were able to work with them and provide them with call examples over the course of days until everything was back under control and calls returned to optimal quality / performance levels.
Vorteile:
Bandwidth provides us with the ability to provide our clients with a high level of call quality, consistently. We mainly use Bandwidth for routing calls once they leave the datacenter. The web GUI is fairly straightforward.
Nachteile:
There have been a few repeat instances of call quality issues, but these kinds of problems have been rare and far between. At times, the site will throw an error during a routine task / order attempt, but then it will go through on the next attempt. Nothing that breaks the experience for us, but it happens often enough that it's worth mentioning.

Bandwidth Easy to use Portal
Kommentare: The overall has been pretty good. A few snags here and there but for the most part the software is great and support is helpful when it's not great

They do a great job with responding to tickets and providing support. Ports through bandwidth easier than other providers by far, which I really appreciate. Support team for porting is good as well.
Nachteile:
I have to use 3 portals to manage Bandwidth, the main portal for hosting; a seperate portal for tickets; and a 3rd portal for e911. I don't mind that their are 3 seperate portals, it just managing login and for 3 accounts is annoying, especially when they have separate parameters. Ideally I would like to be able to login once and also get from one portal to another through links. Even just providing links for the other portals on each of the portals would probably be helpful.

Bandwidth's system is simple to use and order numbers from. Their support team is exceptional and very quick to reply with personalize answers that resolve our questions and issues. They do a solid job notifying us of changes, even if they're changes being made by others such as phone carriers.
Nachteile:
We aren't always able to purchase the numbers we want, which is due to their somewhat limited inventory. This isn't too widespread an issue, but numbers in certain areas can be challenging and even impossible to get.
Fast and efficient for self service at provider level

Vorteile:
The layout is nice as well as the ease-of -use. For porting I really like the ability to set to auto port time or manual port times based on my customer criteria. Number ordering is fairly simple and straight forward. Would recommend reviewing their self-paced video on how to order DIDs in their portal. Excellent CSR search capability as well.
Nachteile:
When going to confirm a DID order if you do not have your browser set to full size you can miss the button to submit the order. Would like to see this page scale to browser size and show the submit button for DID orders
I genuinely love working with Bandwidth--especially our reps. They're always incredibly responsive!
Vorteile:
How easy it is to use and navigate. There isn't a lot we need to reach out for, except the process of ordering numbers.
Nachteile:
I think the Number ordering page could use an improvement. If you search for a number and the system has it, it shows the list. But if the number doesn't have it, the page just refreshes, clears out your request and gives you no error or system message. It took us a while to realize it wasn't broken but was in fact the design. Having some sort of message would be great.
Bandwidth review
Vorteile:
The Bandwidth service was steady in most time and the supporter service was also timely. There are many numbers in Bandwidth.
Nachteile:
1. The SMS of Bandwidth could not send to some coutries such as China. 2. The dashboard of Bandwidth should be improved. The Twilio dashboard is simple and useful. 3. The API of numbers were not steady sometimes.
User Friendly
Kommentare: I saved alot of time with the ease of use submitting ports or ordering new numbers.
Vorteile:
User-friendly / efficient to work with (Everything you need to fill out is on 1 screen, no need to tab or go to another screen to complete). Most other companies requires users to go to multiple tabs/screens to order or port numbers.
Nachteile:
The partial/full port migration indicator gives off a lot of inaccurate rejects, which in the end result in loss of time making it longer to get a FOC since you need to dispute the reject and resubmit.
Great Uptime!
Vorteile:
Bandwidth.com has excellent service. We have never had an outage with them in over two years. It is very rare for a company not to have outages.
Nachteile:
The only con I would have to say thier pricing could be a little more aggressive. We have a few redundant carriers that hav ebetter pricing.
Easy to use, easy to navigate & reliable
Vorteile:
It is very simple to navigate through the portal. The site is always up and reliable. It allows the user to have control over the requests. Customer Service team is awesome to work with and knowledgeable. I can get new numbers in an instance.
Nachteile:
The automatic messages posted on orders don't make sense often so you have to call in to find out what they mean. The user often misunderstands the automated message for a message from customer service.
Top notch Customer Success Advocates, Great Service.
Vorteile:
I love that the quality of the product has cut down significantly on call issues reported to us by our customers. When issues arise their support team and customer success advocates are quick to help and solution for the issue.
Nachteile:
Sometimes the dashboard is a little tricky, I find it difficult to navigate sometimes. I usually find my way to what I was looking for after a few extra clicks.
The support team is very helpful and typically quick to respond.
Kommentare: We get the support we need and are able to control a lot of the features on our own. This is very helpful as a lot of changes need to be done as soon as possible.
Vorteile:
It is not difficult to use. I do not need to rely on support all the time for me to make a change or to resolve an issue. If I do, they are typically quick to respond and are often very helpful.
Nachteile:
Sometimes there is a bit of confusion when it comes to porting. As technology is not perfect, there are ups and downs on the software that might produce a false status or a delay on a notification. This can cause confusion at times. The billing team is not always the fastest to respond either, but they are still available and will respond to the tickets.
Unfailingly awesome customer service.
Vorteile:
The people who run it clearly care about their customers' experiences. The software does a great job and, on the rare occasion when it needs a boost, the customer service is the best in the business.
Nachteile:
I have no complaints. Bandwidth seems to work very hard at constant improvements - their speed in addressing issues outpaces mine in finding any.

It would be helfpul if the link to open a support ticket was automatically associated with the login that you're using instead of having to login via a different part of the system.
