It has been great for mid size company and large contact base.
I just tried to compose a NEW message to a current client on my phone and can't figure out how. I can respond to any message I already have but can't create a new message.

Simple Solution for GREAT Communication
Kommentare: Overall, I am very pleased with Text Request and the variety of features they provide to enhance our communication with clients and team members!

We have had some issue implementing the SMS chat feature into our website and that is frustrating

Don't use if you want to get alerted of incoming messages
Kommentare: We really enjoyed Text Request for the first six months ago. Without the ability to be notified of incoming messages, it is almost useless to us. We might as well buy a cell phone and have the texts sent to that number, but I don't have the time or energy to cancel and start all over again.
Vorteile:
We like the basic functions and love the templates for similar texts that we send over and over.
Nachteile:
Text Request used to alert us of incoming messages but that function stopped working. Obviously we need to know when we have new texts coming in! We were told they were working on a solution, but that was months ago. They suggested we "escalate" messages meaning we set a time (we chose 5 minutes) and after that time, Text Request will send a message to my personal phone letting me know that we have an incoming message that is over 5 minutes old. Having messages sent to my personal cell defeats the purpose of an app on our computer that we can all share.

It's A Great Way to Communicate
Kommentare: My overall experience, through the last few years, has been excellent. We did use it for everything for a few months when our integrated option failed us. We would export, copy and paste, and then customize all of our reminders and appointments for the next day to send as a group text to all appointments in that same time range. It worked for the most part, we just wanted to eliminate the part of having to export all of the data, then manually pull the numbers for those specific times, and create specific group messages out of those numbers on a daily basis. Too time consuming, once again not their fault.
Vorteile:
The chrome extension is something I use on a daily basis, to click a number on a page and send a quick text to it, either reminding them to sign something, look at something or to simply communicate. The ease of contacting anyone that needs contacting is why we keep Text Request, as it's not our main source of customer interaction but it is by far the easiest and fastest. The separate dashboards with different numbers, for different users, or shared users (however you want to set it up) is another huge plus. One department can use one number, while another person has access to that plus their own if needed. Definitely scalable with growing companies.
Nachteile:
If it were to integrate with our main program we use for scheduling and routing, we'd solely use it. But our program doesn't play nice with others, so it's really nothing that I can blame them for. We really have no choice but to use the integrated option because all others just fall at the wayside when needing to use the data we've already entered. Other than that, it's perfect for general daily use and to contact clients or customers quickly and efficiently, and keeping everything organized how you want it.

Text Request Is Fast & Easy to Use

Communication System
Kommentare: It is an overall efficient, simple, and straight forward system that makes communication visible and accessible to everyone on our team.
Vorteile:

Nachteile:
That the emoji always wants to go towards the end of a sentence instead of where I place it. However, you can easily copy and paste it to the area that you want.

Kommentare: I have had a wonderful experience with Text Request. We use it almost daily in multiple ways and it has been a great platform to continue to grow our business. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We have loved getting to work with our hometown company!
Vorteile:
I enjoy how easy Text Request is to use on the back end. The abilities it has to communicate with customers, track data, send detailed information is incredible. We have seen a huge increase in ticket sales from using text request!
Nachteile:
There is honestly no complaints! The staff is innovative and always looking for ways to make the customer experience better. There is constant additions of new items that we can use.

We LOVE Text Request
Kommentare: Our overall experience with Text Request has been great. One of the other vendors we work with recommended them at a time that I was researching review generation companies that also offered texting platforms. Text Request was a fraction of the cost and while they aren't a review generation company per say, you can EASILY set up a template to text clients asking them to write a review and you can even include a link so they are taken directly to your review website of choice.
Vorteile:
Our independent insurance agency absolutely LOVES Text Request. Our clients will often ask if they can text us or if we can text them and prior to Text Request, we didn't have an option to do so other than giving out our personal cell numbers. In our line of work, we often need photos of a client's car or home and I love that Text Request allows clients to send these photos to us so easily. I also love that our agents can use Text Request right from their computer and don't need to be checking a cell phone constantly. It is very user friendly and was easy for our agents to learn how to use.
Nachteile:
I don't have anything negative to say about the desktop version of the software and I think it's extremely user friendly. The mobile app is a little clunky, but for the most part we use the desktop version and don't have to use the mobile app, so this concern doesn't come up often.

TextRequest is an Oasis in a Sea of Bad SMS Providers
Kommentare: When our VP of IT left suddenly, I had to use context clues to figure out what she was working on, one of which was ZipWhip transition, which I did not know was expiring in less than a month! The TextRequest team hauled and hustled to get the ZipWhip transition done in less than a month and I am grateful! TextRequest has been working consistently, which is also something I am grateful for!
Vorteile:
Clear sensible design run by a team that cares about a good product and is not trying to exploit me.
Nachteile:
We had to fight to the death with bad SMS providers to release the old SMS phone numbers. I felt like I entered battle with a pool noodle, and I was at the mercy of the bad SMS providers. A tool to help force phone number release would have saved time.

Text Request Makes Transitions From Other Platforms Easy
Kommentare: My experience has been very positive! I enjoy Text Request more than I did with the previous platform that we utilized. I truthfully don't have much to complain about.
Vorteile:
I really enjoyed that Text Request allowed us to transfer our contacts from our previous texting platform. It helped us maintain clear communication with each of our clientele. Their group messaging function is also very useful, and I'm thankful that there are safeguards that it presents to us for use in avoiding group messages to patients from being marked as spam.
Nachteile:
There aren't many complaints that I have about their services, but sometimes I notice that my text conversation with a contact does not appear within the "Conversations" tab when I search for them by phone number. Instead, I have to find their contact in the "Contacts" tab and then be redirected to my ongoing conversation with them from there. It happens very rarely, but it does slow down our communication processes when we do encounter a hiccup like this.

Phenomenal communication solution, inspirational company
Kommentare: The support for Text Request is amazing - they really do care about our questions/concerns and respond quickly, I love how they also utilize LinkedIn to share great information with their users.
Vorteile:
Text Request saves us so much time and makes communicating with our clients and their team members so easy and quick. NO more wasting time calling them with updates or questions, a simple text that any of our team members can respond to and keep the conversation going. SOOOOO valuable.
Nachteile:
I don't like that when we send our group texts they come across as individual texts to the people we are sending to. Makes it confusing to know if everyone received the text or not. We send group texts for a reason so it would be great to receive them as group texts so we can continue the conversation as a group.

really can't come up with a con in our situation. works great for what we need. perhaps in would be nice if it was integrated within our internal dealer management software, but that would add more cost and not sure it would offer enough benefit to justify cost

Perfect Customer Texting Program for ease of Use
Vorteile:
The user interface was perfect for my staff to jump into the program with little to no training needed. This program is used daily as we communicate with our staff who are out in the field and then with our customers for Sales and Customer Service. Plus nice feature we where able to utilize our main office number for our customers to text, and then also get another number so separate it from our customers for staff. So easy to keep everything organized and a simple click of a button your can switch between numbers.
Nachteile:
There was nothing, as Text Request solved every concern we had with one of there competitors.

Vorteile:
I like merge messaging feature that I can tailor a mass text. I also like that you can upload contacts' information to create a contact card. I do wish it was much easier. It was difficult for me to learn but the customer support video meeting was EXTREAMLY helpful. Being able to download message threads.
Nachteile:
The notification alert tones. I would like more customization. What it takes to upload contacts and merge messages. The text request mobile app KILLS my cell phone battery (android).

Unfortunately, our initial understanding regarding full HIPAA compliance was in error. This caused a reevaluation of the product regarding its future suitability and cost effectiveness for our organization.

Text Request has a straight-forwarded, easy to use platform. The UI is very user friendly.
Nachteile:
The only con was on bulk reporting. However, the Text Request team was able to assist us with any special reporting request.

Text Request is the best tech I have used for my business
Kommentare: It has been great and it has made me a lot of money.
Vorteile:
I love it because I can chat on my computer or on my phone line, through my work line, that customers call and text me for business. I can chat and update clients and they can feel free to text me at 3am if needed and I will respond when I am at work again. I can't live without text request
Nachteile:
Some of the cell carriers blocks some of the texts, but thats not their fault.

Seamless transition
Vorteile:
They were the first recommendation from the Zip Whip application that we were using before, and had a great demo for us to see how they work. I liked that each message had to be marked as read individually, a problem we where having with Zip Whip was that the messages we accidentally being marked as read and clients and staff thought we were intentionally ignoring their messages, which was not the case at all. This issue was completely solved by switching to Text Request.
Nachteile:
Nothing so far, besides some occasional crashes, but the staff is always quick to find a solution.

Text Request for the WIN!
Kommentare: Overall our experience with Text Request has been very positive. I have no complaints honestly. The one con that I listed is more of a suggestion of an improvement that text request could make to their program. We have been pleased with the service we have received. Would recommend to any company looking to switch.
Vorteile:
Text Request made our transfer over to their program seem less. We were so appreciative and thankful that it was not a stressful transition. Not only do we use text request for our students but we also use it for prospective students and clients receiving services. The one feature that I absolutely love is I am able to have it on my phone and receive notifications. This is so very helpful for me as the Campus Director of our school.
Nachteile:
I wish once you replied to a message it would mark it taken care of. Sometimes it can become confusing when you have responded to someone and it will look like another new message. Other than that I honestly have no issues with Text Request.

So easy it is to use! Since we use text request in the office as an additional form of communication with our clients, I love that you can send attachments and save message templates, for example.. I send out notices to clients and follow a certain format, I can save a basic format and edit it to personally fir the client/situation I'm reaching out to which saves time! I also love that we can download the time stamped message and attach it to the client file, Documentation is so easy with text request!
Nachteile:
At first, I had a hard time setting up my account/account layout. Luckily- you can edit it to look pretty much how you want!

- The key solution with Text Request is having immediate contact with my customers in a fairly simple, straightforward platform. Although there are probably a lot of bells and whistles, I don't know what they are and I don't have to in order to use TR for the benefit of my business (and the saving of my sanity).
- Another very important issue is the support from TR people. When I have a question, concern, or problem, they are VERY responsive, even if they can't always solve the issue.
Vorteile:
- Easy to use. Although it will do a lot of things, since I only need a few simple things it allowed me to only use those things without bogging me down with the totality of the product. - It's straightfoward. I didn't need to take days of tutorials to learn out to use it and adapt it to my business.
Nachteile:
- There are some things that don't cross over well. For instance, I have 3 dashboards and I must input a single phone number (or a groups of contacts) into each dashboard. - Sometimes there is a glitch that doesn't seem to have a reason or solution. For instance, when I send a group message, some of the contacts in the group will not list the names along with the numbers, even though both name and number are in my active contacts.

Huge upgrade in both Customer Experience and Operations for our business!
Kommentare: The experience has been great. It's enhanced our entire on-boarding process with students through registration, it has cut down our staff time in emailing/calling and following up to convert customers. We're easily able to share need to know if quickly and effectively, and it has allowed us to respond to customers questions and need not only more timely, but more cohesively across our team.
Vorteile:
I love the ease of the platform, using the templates, scheduled messages, and how we can all jointly utilize Text Request as a team. It has made communication with clients 10X easier and increased the customer experience 10 fold.
Nachteile:
Since the app upgrade, we're having an issue with one of our devices that seems to be unsolvable – We're unable to scroll through the templates on one phone. Although we've reached out about it, none of the trouble-shooting has worked. We're not ready to get a new device so at one location we simply need to use an iPad on our Square stand which sits horizontally. If the app could rotate horizontally that would be SO HELPFUL! But again, only because we can't get it working on our phone device at one of our locations.
