Great Platform to management your sport club sign ups and payments

Kommentare: Setting up was fairly easy for us, and whenever I had questions, the team was very supportive and helpful throughout the onboarding process. Overall, the customer service has been excellent, and the platform is working well for our club at the moment. We haven't received any complaints from parents, which is always a good sign! Keep it up, Coacha!

Vorteile:

We are a small dance club called Konverse Dance Crews, currently running four groups. Coacha has been an incredible asset for us, offering features that help our club run smoothly. We can easily send out broadcasts for quick communication, maintain a register for student sign-ins, and track all payment subscriptions from our members. The ability to send invites for trips is especially useful for organising dance competitions or shows and seeing who is available. The safeguarding tab is valuable for reporting any concerns about a student. One of my favourite features is the club store for our merch/ uniform, which adds an extra layer of convenience for our members and staff!

Nachteile:

The platform truly is great, but I think it could excel even further with a few additions. I wish I could sign the kids out on the platform as well as sign them in. From a safeguarding perspective, it's important to know who has left the building. Additionally, it would be fantastic to have a tab on the fixture for who is picking up the child. This feature would be super useful for managing trips or allow us to customise our own tabs.

Coacha does exactly what it is supposed to do!

The interface can be a little blocky with not enough detail. Requires me to drill down to find details i'd like to see at a top level.

Coacha Management System in Lasswade Gymnastics Club

Kommentare: Easy implementation, streamlined administration, fabulous support, advice and online help. Cost effective solution with great infrastructure and a friendly team. Highly recommended for club management solution.

Easy to implement, Sleek and professional looking. Streamlines our administration and allows multiple user to access information with clear restrictions on data. Parents register for membership and classes, online registers track attendance and reporting function allows us to track. Recently implemented subscriptions payment and it has been easy so far and I am certain it will reduce admin and make payment chasing much easier. A brilliant product with first class support and online help pages and videos to suit any individuals learning style. Since implementing Coacha the system has been continually developed with new functions added and communicated regularly.

Nachteile:

Honestly have not found anything yet that I do not like. There is a lot to learn when you first setup as the system has may functions but support is available so easily.

Review of COACHA for a Community Interest Company offering Events for autistic participants.

Kommentare: Very good. Attentive customer service - no matter how "silly" our questions. Ease of use for all our team. Customer friendly app and website. We love that we can have unlimited participants, events etc. We love we can have staff on the database and registers for attendance. Its great to have payments and participant information all in one place. We love the broadcast functionality - this is very useful for both organisation update and marketing and sales emails. We were worried at first about how our participants would react to having to sign up but they have taken it in their stride as and all engaged with the process well. I think this is because its so user friendly.

Vorteile:

Ease of use and onus on the parents and carers to sign up and update their details. All information about participants in one place. Easy to update and search for information about our users. Ability to customise the sign up form to our requirements.

Nachteile:

We would love if we could see a sales pipeline in due course. Also events need to be shown in date order. Shop - when exporting the orders you cannot see the detail of the order i.e. what customers ordered so it makes it difficult to use this to help distribution. I have struggled with the code to integrate it with our website. Coacha app doesn't have all the functionality that the website does.

There really is no such thing as a 'silly' question in our eyes - you can ask us anything, anytime! With the Store orders, if you head to STATS & REPORTS > CUSTOM REPORTS you'll find a report (Club Store Orders) that will give you all of the details you need. Thanks for a lovely review ;-)

A brilliant and easy to use solution for Clubs - at a fair price

Kommentare: Coacha has been a total relief. We were previously using MemberMojo which was extremely complex and required a lot of administration time to get working as we needed. It also had issues with billing and other areas. The team at Coacha have been there for us at every step. We have had the most amazing support - and we have been able to communicate with the co-founders. It is obvious that the whole team at Coacha really care for their customers, and they are willing to discuss enhancements for the whole Coacha community. They really have made me feel that nothing is too much trouble. Their openness and fair dealing are very refreshing in these times. The levels of support offered are the best in the industry. In my other life, I teach technology at the highest levels. I also have worked in technology at the highest levels throughout the world. This is how a product should be designed and launched. The support and the roadmap are great, new features are constantly added, the community has a voice (though there could be more options to formalise this) and overall we are extremely pleased with everything they do. If you run a sports club, this software will make your lives a lot easier - for very little cost.

Vorteile:

Simple to use, easy to onboard, very easy to transfer from other more complex solutions which were not meeting our needs. The Coacha system has allowed us to remain in contact with our members during the pandemic and to ensure that we have been able to provide some services. As we return to normal, the software has ensured that our administration is quick and easy and we can get on with the work required by Club members.

Nachteile:

For less technically able members of the team, this was a small step up. It would be useful if there was a printable guide available for those who are not tech-savvy, or maybe some "How To" videos. Otherwise, the solution has really helped our Club.

The best for membership management tool for athletics

Kommentare: We have been with Coacha for about five years now and the functionality is always being improved. The team are very responsive and any issues we've had are ironed out quickly. Having the app as well as the website is crucial for both members and volunteers and we've appreciated the team taking our feedback. We feel like it's a very personal experience working with the Coacha team, and not faceless software.

Vorteile:

Coacha is pretty intutive and has a really clean interface which is great for small clubs who are constantly onboarding new volunteers and signing up new members across a very diverse community. Session registration and recurring billing are the top features for us.

Nachteile:

There are a few limits on some features - the sign-up form could be more customisable (still the best we found) and the search functionality within the system itself could be improved.

Thanks Vikki - very kind words indeed :-) FYI the sign up form is getting a huge overhaul as I type so will have lots more options on it, and the search functionality was updated (in part) at the start of this week and will get more updates in the near future too. From this week's update email: "We have added the ability to search for a specific member in the payment plans section. You will find this search box when you view all the members on the plan. Use it to find someone specific, look for someone on a plan and access an individuals plan settings more quickly. "

Kommentare: Very happy with my overall experience. [sensitive content hidden] has been excellent and at the available very quickly when needed.

Vorteile:

I love that a huge percentage of my admin is taken out of my hands. It is so much easier to keep track of who has/has not paid and allow coacha to send reminder emails which look far more professional than me sending them.

Nachteile:

I like the majority of Coacha. If I had to choose, I would say that it would be easier if I could change payment plans, without deleing the members payment fees and starting again as this relies on having to chase the member to do this again.

Coacha upgrade !

Kommentare: We have used Coacha for a few years and have just upgraded our membership to the new custom coacha which we are thrilled with so we would definitely recommend this upgrade to anyone considering it. For us we wanted to make use of the athlete skills section and this upgrade allows us to do that.

Vorteile:

Great immediate support from the Coacha team if there are ever any issues. The system is easy to navigate and works well for our club.

Nachteile:

Not found much as yet. The only thing I would like to see is on the athlete attendance I would like to be able to see dates missed instead of they attended 3/4 sessions.

Highly recommend, great tools for streamlining the whole business process

Kommentare: Overall we have found it is very simple and streamlined our processes so that tasks are much easier to manage and track as a team. Having the functions of tracking all payments coming in is very useful and being able to customise this per athlete in an easier way makes it crucial to us as a team and saves countless hours. Keeping records for our athletes in a GDPR compliant way and allowing renewal of this and user customisation and editing which automatically updates for us is a great feature. Having events and fixtures in the calendar and being able to send updates and newsletters all from the one platform means that we are a more cohesive operation and allows us to do a lot of this without having to spend so much time manually entering details or having to deal with different platforms for everything we need. We would prefer more functionality on the app as this is the primary use for some of our coaches but the benefit of just having everything together is invaluable to us and has saved each of our admins and coaches countless hours already.

Vorteile:

It is very easy to use for even the most "technophobe" members, it is helpful not to have to do user videos to explain functionality as we have had in the past. The ability to keep records of our athletes including medical details and registers in the same place as we can send payment reminders and keep track of all payments due and events upcoming is what we are most pleased by, rather than having a different process and platform for each task we need. This keeps it in one place and makes it very easy to use cohesively as a team.

Nachteile:

The app itself has fairly limited options, particularly when customising events and selecting attendees etc. It would be helpful to be able to send more customised emails regarding events and fixtures through that page as well as having the option for coaches to select attendees which are compulsory- for example for competitions etc where attendance is required, we still found it was asking members to select their availability or allowing them to edit this after the fact.

Thanks for such a detailed review Becca. We are in the process of rebuilding our Apps from the ground up so that we can add to their functionality quickly and easily as we release new feature sets, which as you know we do almost on a weekly basis sometimes. Apps always play catchup to the main web based App unfortunately, as the App stores (both Google and Apple) have very stringent approval processes and take quite a lot of back and forth with their tech teams. Chester Netball Club Loves Coacha

Kommentare: Chester Netball Club has just over 300 members ranging from aged 4 to a lot older!!!! Managing our membership and financial records has been revolutionised by Coacha, not only is the system used extensively by the club management team, all club communications are broadcast through the system so our members are regular users too. This has been a great success and we are looking forward to implementing new and additional features as they come on line.

Vorteile:

4 January 2023Coacha is a first class Club Management System which has transformed the way Chester Netball Club handles our club management and admin responsibilities, we have full visibility of all member records and the money management feature has provided the club treasurer with full transparency, these two features alone have revolutionised Chester Netball Club. We took advantage of the free trial period and quickly put the system though its paces, we were thrilled so decided to join up and implement Coacha throughout Chester Netball Club. We created the initial records using the spreadsheet loader then asked all members to update their own records, this was really successful and the response was very positive which I believe was to do with the simplicity of use. The Coacha Support Team is very responsive and we've found them to be open to ideas for development of new features. We are currently exploring some of the new features that have been added as options and are very excited to be on this journey with the Coacha Team. Definitely take a look at the Coacha video on You Tube as this explores the features of the system, this, coupled with the support team, helped inform our decision to purchase Coacha for our netball club.

Nachteile:

Coacha has transformed our club administration and finance management, there are so many great features of this system, we asked for enhanced reporting features and the Coacha Team, this is just one example of many developments that have been introduced since Chester Netball Club started using Coacha. One area that I would like to see some additional options would be the 'Permission' categories and perhaps the ability to search for earlier Broadcasts

Kommentare: We have been able to connect more with members and their parents and to reduce the use of paper based administration. Once we have started our 2nd year we expect our membership renewals to be massively easier than the prolonged headaches they were before using the system. The customer support we receive is excellent, friendly, personable and quick to respond. Features continue to be added and this presents us with a favourable experience for our members who likewise benefit as improvements are made.

Vorteile:

This is a very well though out piece of membership management software for clubs. It's extremely quick to use and well presented. It carries out all of the tasks our previous system did and importantly made it easier to communicate with members. The tutorials were helpful and getting started couldn't have been easier.

Nachteile:

We are still adapting our processes to best use the system and find that we must take care with staff who use the system as the access level granted cannot be adjusted as finely as we would like. With some staff being less knowledgeable with technology we don't want staff to make changes by mistake.

Amazing membership management software

Kommentare: CoachA is an amazing product and we would be struggling without it. All our member records are now updated and we are now able to email certain membership groups within the club. We have over 40 juniors on our coaching program who are now setup on a monthly direct debit scheme. The amount of time we are saving on administration is huge. The app on the phone is brilliant as the Coaches now use this for the register and we are able to check membership status on mobile devices/ipad at any time. There is no need to chase for payments as CoachA does it all. Its one of the easiest products to use. Without CoachA our club would not be able to run smoothly.

Vorteile:

This is a very hard question but to keep it simple all the features are brilliant. We managed to import all our membership database within a few hours. The hardest part was actually figuring out what information we did not want to migrate to CoachA. Our members simply logged in and then reviewed/updated their records. We had also uploaded our Rules and Constitution documents. When users logged in for the first time they were asked to confirm they have read these documents. Other key documents can also be stored. Stripe and GoCardless (2 payment methods) were setup very easily followed by subscriptions plans. Within a few hours we had invoiced all our members. The email functionality and the member groups feature was very easy to use. A history of all emails sent and any bounced email errors are also logged. The Club Sign Up Form was very easy to implement and we have now got rid of our paper membership forms as new prospective members only have to click on a link and then spend a few minutes completing the Sign Up Form. Our membership secretary is extremely happy as he no longer needs to manually enter details into a spreadsheet. Our members have not complained about the new system and new members have said the process to become a member is very easy. The APP is a key feature and very easy to use. Our coaches are using the App as there is a Register feature so that we know who has attended a session.

Nachteile:

CoachA allows the administrator to add customised fields however at moment unable to set these to to be Read Only (currently user can edit the info stored in these fields), however this is under review. CoachA team are always happy to hear our views and in most cases have already thought about my requests.

Streamlined and efficient

Kommentare: I worked out what our clubs membership fees should equate to over a year and before coacha the club was losing almost half of that money, due to cash going missing or coaches not chasing missing fees. With this software, the management committee can see instantly who is paying, who isn't and then take the relevant action. The money we will manage to reclaim will allow us to further develop our facilities and offer more back to the members.
Coacha is a godsend.

Vorteile:

Where to start? First of all, the ease of use and simplicity of this software means even the non computer savvy user can easily work this software. The sign-up form contains all of the questions you need, and you can add more. The payment system was setup with ease, but we haven't actually taken any payments yet, but just from looking at how the setup works, it's going to be a timesaver for the clubs treasurer. All of my coaches have access to the details they need, and nothing more which keeps it even simpler for them. If you have a club that has membership fees and want to jump into the 21st century, then Coacha is exactly what you need.

Nachteile:

We have members placed into their respective teams and link the relevant coach to that team. If you don't create a class with that teams members in it, the coach can't see who his members are. It would be nice if once you added a member to a member group, the coach could instantly see that member without having to add them to a class. (Limited coach)

Terrific system to help manage our gymnastics club

Vorteile:

With nearly 60 individual classes every week, the ability to schedule our timetable and accurately allocate our gymnasts has been fantastic. This coupled with the ease we have been able to schedule our direct debits for the payment of club fees is going to make a huge difference to the effort in administering the club business. Until now we have relied on our gymnast's parents paying by standing order or ad-hoc bank transfer and this always involved checking up and chasing outstanding monies. Now we have a simple way to monitor and manage our income stream and the time saved is going to be enormous. The ability to group the gymnasts for more efficient club communications is also a huge benefit and now our gymnasts and parents can login to their own private account to sign up for competitions and extra tuition. It's going to completely do away with the need for forms which need to be printed, handed out then collected and collated. No more searching gym bags for missing or forgotten paperwork and money!!

Nachteile:

As with any new system, the configuration at the start is always a bit of a task. That being said the Coacha team have been on hand, even during the Covid crisis, to help with questions and guide us along so it's hard to pick any real faults.

A lot has come from listening to user feedback and we always aim to improve out platform on a monthly, sometimes weekly, basis. Getting to grips with any software always take a little energy but like getting a new phone and getting to grips with it but once you're there you wonder how you ever survived without it We've specially added 'demo data' to help people see Coacha in action before they add their own and a lot of people have said how useful this is.

Time saving and safeguarding dream

Kommentare: It solves record keeping and staying GDPR compliant. The record keeping and 'Broadcasting' system work brilliantly, saving precious admin time for the things I want to be doing.

Vorteile:

Coacha is so easy to use, it cuts down so much admin' and it keeps my mind at rest that there are many layers of safeguarding. The website is so intuitive and well constructed that it really cuts the guess work out of recording attendance, payment requests and reporting. It's all there, there is space for comments and safe gaurding records too a track and trace system! Everything is accessible on the app as well, secure but accessible is a balance Coacha has struck just right.

Nachteile:

I genuinely struggle to think of negatives, the only thing I can think of is the sign in page on the app is a little 'clunky'.

Vorteile:

Moved from another software and we were able to import the majority of the information straight in, love the ease of use, membership subscription options and the sign up form which links to all our policies to view and agree before signing up is fantastic! The reports and statistics are very comprehensive and whenever we have had any queries the customer service has been outstanding with fast responses and resolutions. The app is great for our teachers and member alike and we love the system, so much potential and has everything and more than we could want at an amazing price!

Nachteile:

Any issues we have had have all been resolved so have yet to find anything we dislike!

Coacha has saved us so much time and improved our interaction with new and current customers

Kommentare: Since we started using Coacha the system has been upgraded so many time with fantastic new features. The customer service is fantastic and we wouldn't be without the system!

Vorteile:

Coacha is excellent to store our members information and allow our members to book classes and make payments. The team at coacha are constantly upgrading the system and have excellent customer service and welcome feedback. The systems save us so much admin time each month!

Nachteile:

For our recreational classes we run block classes and haven't found the best way to set this up. But it's fantastic for our monthly teams and PAYG.

Kommentare: Management of our class sizes and membership fees has been a huge help. We can easily track who attends class and who has paid via the money management tab.
Since Covid19 restrictions have come into place, Coacha has been very beneficial to help keep on top on our class sizes and comply with government guidelines. The contact tracing tab is very useful , allowing us to select a member and have a very clear breakdown of when and who they took a class with in case of any Covid related queries.
The support we have received from the Coacha staff has been exceptional. Any query we have is answered promptly with clear instructions and a very friendly manner. Their customer service is absolutely top notch.

Vorteile:

Then main benefits we have found so far are management of class times and schedules , invoicing our members via email , the ability to group members together based on our own defined categories and the contact tracing feature that has just been introduced.

Nachteile:

I would like the ability to deactivate a class. For instance when our timetable changed due to Covid restrictions, we had to delete our current classes to make them not visible to our members whereas a deactivate or hide option would mean we could keep class details stored but hidden for future use if needed.

We love getting suggestions like these are they help us to help you, and in turn help all of our subscribers. Whilst not every single suggestion makes it in to Coacha (we do get some really bizarre ones to be fair!) they all get serious consideration. Fortunately for us nearly all of our competitors tell you what functionality they think you need and if you don't like it then tough! Keep the ideas coming ;-)

Vorteile:

The fact that all admin tasks are on one platform - previously we had accounting software, invoicing applications, google documents for storing athlete information and registers. Coacha allows you to fulfill all of your usual administrative tasks in one place and allows athletes/parents to view the information as easily as staff.

Nachteile:

I have not found a way to invoice only without having to link a payment method. It would be useful if there was a way to set this up but it is not essential and the automatic payment methods save time overall with chasing late payments.

Kommentare: Great software, solving many of our logistical and organizational problems as a business, and we would highly recommend it to others.

Vorteile:

The best thing about Coacha is having all your needs for running a sports-based business in one place. The membership database is easy to use and easy for clients to sign up, and it's very easy to organize clients into appropriate groups and set up registers. Coaches can then use the app on their phone to fill in registers, removing any need for printing as everything updates in real-time. This makes it simple to track trials, moves, and attendance for all our members. Before, things could easily descend into chaos when managing a membership group of almost 500 people a week, whereas now everything is much more structured and organized. It's also worth noting how helpful [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is to contact if we have any issues or suggestions for how to improve Coacha.

Nachteile:

Since we are new to Coacha, there are some things we felt would add to the software, such as customizable reports to export members and additional columns to sort groups. We only had to contact [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and within weeks customizable reports are now part of the software and additional columns are coming soon! I can't underestimate how useful it is to have someone to contact who takes on board feedback.

Brilliant easy to use software!!

Kommentare: I started by google searching club membership software and there are lots to choose from. I pretty much made my way down the list and if i didn't get a good first impression with the website i moved on as if the website was a bit clumsy or didn't flow well/ too complicated its safe to assume the software would be the same. Also theres a few American based companies out there but wanted something that related to UK businesses/clubs with UK support. I reached out to Coacha and tried the 14 day free trial and it just worked so well. I signed up and currently in the process of signing up all of our members and really enjoying it so far.

Vorteile:

When i came across Coacha i was really impressed with the website it was nice and simple but full of information. looking through the features it ticked all the boxes especially linking up with GoCardless and something we never thought of but will hopefully use is the SMS through Textlocal. Another thing that stood out was the safeguarding in sport / GDPR and the efforts you have made to address this. We feel like the parents of the juniors at our club will really appreciate the constant communication through the software and the fact it is going through them and never the child directly. We have our own child welfare officer at the club and along side the software it really shows we are taking this issue seriously.

Nachteile:

There isn't much to dislike. This is a generic software it may not suit every company / club perfectly and may have some missing features somewhere but for a all in one package it suited us well.

You raise a fair point with suitability for different organisations, and we believe that if an off the shelf system like ours covers 75-80% of your needs, you're doing well. The remaining tasks can usually be achieved with workarounds or tweaks to internal processes (or a combination of these).

Great payment system

Kommentare: Customer service has been great from day 1. Expect our working relationship going forward to be easy and productive. The system is refreshingly intuitive and far simpler than our previous system. The customers prefer it too.

Vorteile:

How simple it was to see the financials and set up our payment categories.

Nachteile:

The ability to have a subscription end after a set number of payments.

Thanks Christian. A big thing for us here at Coacha is to ensure that our interface is as easy to use as possible - both for you and especially for your club members. You are able to set an end date for your payment plans in the Money Dashboard. This would mean that recurring payments would stop after the amount of time you stipulate (eg 4, 6, 10 months etc). We have a lot of people coming to us from LoveAdmin and we have processes in place to help bring your data from their system to ours. Makes it as painless as possible for you and your members. Welcome onboard!

Vorteile:

We love how it is user friendly! the graphic make it easy to navigate and know where to find out information. The team have helped a lot with all questions and suggestions and we can see the efforts made to improve the software will create a great app for our academy.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the little parts of coacha that are maybe not as clear. However with a quick look on the how to guides it is easy to follow and understand.We would like a ticket option for events.
