Great product and pricing model

Vorteile:
It is easy to setup and one can have different links to track the different users that will take the test. We usually set to take the images of the candidates while they do the test so that we know that they are alone. It is a great tool to filter our clients
Nachteile:
It was a bit unclear in the beginning that the free questions are widely available online, so it would be very easy for the candidates to google them. It was a very easy setup altogether.
A lot better than alternatives, good library, affordable

Nachteile:
Could have more level-specific tests to cater for different roles/seniority. Not easy to find when assessing alternatives to more expensive tools.

Great Assessment Test Platform
Kommentare: So far it's been a great experience. We currently use TestDome for employment candidates, but there are plans to start using for our current employee assessments as well.
Vorteile:
I like that TestDome allows the customization of the questions as well as the ability to provide the tests online. And I really love the proctoring capabilities and options that the platform provides.
Nachteile:
So far my experience with TestDome was very satisfactory. One option that might be useful for me is the ability to have the tests in different languages, especially for core tests, as we have many candidates that are not as proficient in English.

This is not a knock on TestDome but all of the testing platforms focus on programming languages and we need at times, a broader spectrum of skills tested.
Best testing site to hire highly skilled candidates
Kommentare: Love using it to screen candidates before a video interview. It helps to save time and ensure we hire skilled people.
Vorteile:
The amount and breadth of questions in the library is really great!
Nachteile:
The cost is a little confusing and pricing is quite expensive.
Pre-employment testing
Kommentare: We wanted to reduce effort for tests for applictants, on our side but also on the applicant side. Testdome solved our problems and we can now filter candidates much faster without the need for much manual work.
Vorteile:
We know exactly upfront how long test is approximatly going to take. We can use the predefined questions out of many different categories which give us a great overview about the applicants.
Nachteile:
The questions are often quite theoretical, more real life questions with more complex answers may would additionaly improve testdome.
Great for online testing
Kommentare: We've been using TestDome for over 4 years for all our recruitment in software development and it has worked very well for us. Also received positive feedback from the candidates that we invited to the test.
Vorteile:
Ability to create multiple tests, to cover different platforms and seniority level. Alert for 'possible cheating'. Candidates get their results and pass or fail info at the end of the test.
Nachteile:
None so far, it works well for our needs.

Especially when you are hiring for skill-based talents like software developers or devops, the ready-made tests to assess a candidate's skills and knowledge really helped in our decision making to select the best candidate.
Nachteile:
In some categories, the test library will need to improve in terms of volume. Customized test should have some kind of mechanism to help the test designer to design on the scoring.

With this software, we have been able to completely transform our application process. After more than a year, I can say that the results of the test are very well aligned with the actual skills.

The software does what it's supposed to, so I don't miss any features.
Fast and easy
Vorteile:
I was able to create an account and set up a test within minutes, all through the web browser on my smartphone. Very easy to send the test to new job candidates and review their scores. Automated webcam photo "proctoring" service is fantastic as proof that the test takers aren't being helped by others. Easy to add more tests to my account and customize tests for individual job candidates. Automated scoring is helpful in reviewing each new candidate's submissions quickly.
Nachteile:
Some of the advanced Excel-based questions are difficult for any software to automatically score b/c there's usually many more than just one way to achieve the desired result in Excel...so the scoring tool for these questions feels like a blunt instrument. Still, it's easy enough for me to manually review the answer submitted and subjectively compare it to the expected answer key and then adjust the score myself whenever necessary.

Kommentare: Overall has been very good in helping us vet candidates before we interview. So far the Pass/Fail rating have been pretty spot on as the candidates we did interview who failed tests also did not go well on interviews.

What I like the most is an intuitive and easy-to-use interface and a work-flow, in just few steps you can create a well rounded pre-employment tests and invite your candidates to solve them.
Nachteile:
I think it would be great if there was some form of an intellisense on their coding tests.
