Termly Is Amazing for Compliance and Policies

Kommentare: Termly has been great to work with. They have been responsive to questions we have had to ask and their app works as intended.

Vorteile:

We really like that Termly helps us keep on top of compliance and helps us write policies for our website. If anything changes with laws or policies, it is automatically updated.

Nachteile:

The autoblocker blocks some of our most popular apps on our website including chat, site search, reviews etc. We were able to create a workaround but it would be nice to have the ability to unblock apps and certain cookies in the backend.

Termly - making the complicated less complicated

Kommentare: I was tasked with making our marketing website compliant and to publish our policies on our marketing website. After some review and editing of the supplied templates I was able to publish and add links to the various policies I was able to create with Termly. I also like how they are supposed to keep the policies up to date as the requirements and laws change over time.

Vorteile:

What I like about Termly is that it helped us be compliant without having to do too much. We installed the product, used the templates to customize our policies and were then able to publish them to our marketing website without a lot of hassle, in fact it was very easy to use. This process can be complicated and Termly helps reduce the anxiety of this very complex issue and makes it easy to deploy.

Nachteile:

My only complaint so far is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of customization for the Wordpress plugins for the consent management banners. Other than that it is a pretty well thought out product and have found it to be very useful overall.

Helpful tool in putting together the privacy policy

Kommentare: Overall great experience! This tool is ideal for startups that don’t have enough capital to pay for the legal fee to put together a privacy policy for their websites.

The built l-in system just asks your input about your organization and website and automatically generates a privacy policy in minutes. It saved a lot of my time and effort.

We would be lost without Termly

Kommentare: I need to get our SaaS solution to be compliant. It needed a privacy policy, terms and conditions, and cookie policy. All of these took me no time to get done. The best thing, I can alter as needed without code change as the snippet will update. Love it.

Kommentare: Termly software is supposed to be used to make complex Legal jargon easier to navigate if law is not your Forté. It helps you to write small contracts for your small business if you use the outlines provided. Pretty solid software; helps walk you through policy creation and compliance.

You can protect your business and your customers' info. The software assists you to create a customized policy that covers all the bases. GDPR, CCPA It also has a lot of user-friendly features and it offers a free trial. You can actually create one template for your small business for free.

Nachteile:

This software is excellent for General contracts and general compliance. If you are looking to focus on niche business practices this may not be the right software for you. Termly's templates are Comprehensive. However, businesses with highly specialized legal requirements or those in niche industries may find them limiting. In these cases, a lawyer-drafted approach might be necessary.

I like the user friendly interface of Termly. Its easy to navigate through it and does not take much effort to find anything. Its updates regularly which keeps policies features up to date. It makes easy to create legal policies with the available templates.

Nachteile:

I find the customization options are very limited in it which stops me to tailor policies as per my need. The customization is way more slow than I thought when ever I get into any trouble they response slow which cause delay in my work.

Kommentare: I used Termly for my website. it was super as i could cover cookies, terms and conditions, refunds to mention a few key areas. i recommend Termly cut out legal fees to set ot up.

Termly is easy to use. Customers can tailor make their policy documents. The documents interface well with any platform. It is not filled with heavy and technical jargon.

Nachteile:

Reading through the aspects of the policy acn be time consuming. Some of the aspects were too continental specific, but in the draft this was editable.

Kommentare: Not having a website policy could have become a liability for my business, thankfully Termly could help prevent this and integrate a branded policy banner directly on my website!

I appreciated the ease of integration directly on my Squarespace website, as well as, the simplicity of putting policies together.

Nachteile:

There isn't necessarily anything I didn't like about Termly, I found it to be user-friendly and allowed for complex concepts and policies to be simplified for an average person like myself.

With the legal woes and lawyers of America, we found it very important to be up to date with our internet usage policy and all of that other complicated stuff. Termly made it easy for me to be in compliance with policies I needed to allow all users access to my site from around the globe without having to do much.

Nachteile:

If you are implementing on your website, make sure you understand it will take a little experience to pull it over with the API. Also, some add blockers, such as Brave Browser, will block the API from running. For the most part, I have had very little problems or concerns.
