Es ist alles vorhanden was man bzgl Intelligence und Analyse von Websites braucht. Es wird eine umfassende Übersicht gegeben.
Nachteile:
App Unterstützung ausbauen wäre interessant
Easy way to filter your leads
Vorteile:
It makes it super easy to browse your lead's site while your on the phone and see the platform they are using, editions, and other tools. It;'s very easy to use and it leaves a good impression with your possible client that you are knowlgable on the subject. A great tool for sales personal who are not SUPER tech-oriented.
Nachteile:
I wish there was a way that the main paltform (ex: Magento) would show up at the top instead of having to scroll down to find it.
Good To Have tool for Lead Generation
Vorteile:
Easily done setup with other tools. CRM integration was easy and landing pages created Easily. A/B testing cand be done easily.
Nachteile:
Pricing can be low. Alternative like leadpages are more value for money.
I use datanyze to qualify accounts on and see what tools they are using
Kommentare: Free searches on accounts is very useful when there is a full day of prospecting. I find it more reliable than datanyze due to it's unlimited amount of credits. There are useful customizable feature that other tracking tools dont have that can make accessing information very quick.
Vorteile:
Builtwith's unlimited searches is very helpful. Being able to see what marketing automation a company has is very easy and pretty accurate. It makes double checking accounts very fast and effective. The customizable features like hiding descriptions and links make Builtwidth very fast when looking for specific tools on a website.
Nachteile:
The accuracy of Builtwith is so so. I usually prefer datanyze for accuracy. Giving incorrect or missing information will make me sometimes overlook accounts that might be qualified. Also there is no dashboard telling company size or revenue that I can find. This can be hard to tell if it is completely accurate. Sometime Builtwith will not yeild any results and give me nothing to go off of while prospecting.
Great choice for prospecting leads based on web technology
Vorteile:
The ease of use and how many technologies that were indexed.
Nachteile:
That it only included english letters, being a company based in the Scandinavia we missed out on some keywords that use nordic letters.
My sales team is able to identify the technologies our potential clients are using before our demos.
Kommentare: Being able to identify the tech stack of a company before a demo and before prospecting allows my team to win more business by having relevant conversations from the start!
Vorteile:
I love the new extension that connects to the new view of gmail. I love that we are able to get insights on the tech stack before we engage with prospects.
Nachteile:
I don't have a lot of dislikes with Built With other than being 100% accurate but you won't find that in any solution.
Understand Technology Stacks
Vorteile:
Helps you understand which technologies a company is using from their eCommerce platform to their email marketing provider and more.
Nachteile:
It is not always 100% accurate but can provide good insights.
It's very expensive. Limited categories but yes the quality of data is good.
Kommentare: Sent an email campaign in the US and AU. It worked for me and my team, we got some conversions also.
Vorteile:
There are enough filters to have the most customized data that can be. The quality of the leads is really nice. I hardly saw any spam or fake leads. For one data you can get leads in bulk also if you know how to use the tool.
Nachteile:
Very expensive. I have hardly seen any tool in this section that is as costly as this. Plus it takes a lot of time to process the data you filter out.
If you are in SaaS sales - this is what you need

Builtwith is constantly updated with the current tech stack of a website which helps me gather more information about my prospects, understand their pain point and shape up my conversation accordingly.
Nachteile:
There might be some discrepancies with respect to the data which lead to misunderstandings sometimes.
Best tool for research
Vorteile:
It enables me to identify the type of softwares used by the accounts I am reaching out too
Nachteile:
The authentication part makes the process time consuming. As when we start doing our research, we are on the go, and it would be great if you guys could consider removing the authentication process.
Helps me prospect the right companies
Vorteile:
This software and add on has really helped me prospect the right companies by finding the marketing automation they currently use and the size and revenue of the company as well.
Nachteile:
The view is not always accurate and it would be awesome if I could solely rely on to see what each company uses.

Buildwith est facile d'utilisation et possède une base relativement riche de domaine URLs connectés sur les technologies de développement les plus utilisés comme PHP, Java, etc... même dans sa forme gratuite il nous a permi d'identifier 1 à 1 la techno de plus de 20 000 domaine URL dans notre base
Nachteile:
La base préproposée dans la version acheté manquait de MAJ surtout pour les technologies de e-commerce comme magento, prestashop et odoo
Basic functionality is great
Kommentare: It's a more basic tool, I would not rely on it for in depth tracking or super accurate information but it can certainly make prospecting easier and more personable.
Vorteile:
It is really nice to be able to see what softwares or code a website has on their page by just using the plugin- It makes it really easy for SDR's to prospect into potential clients if they have an updated list of the technologies that company uses
Nachteile:
There are some discrepancies in the data- It is not always as up to date and accurate as you would want it to be. Ex: there are certain websites we know for a fact use certain softwares/technologies but built with often misses it.
Great Research Tool for Scoping Website Projects
Vorteile:
I use this browser extension almost every day, certainly each time I'm researching a prospect or competitor website. With one click you learn about the technology running on the target website. It's great to be able to quickly tell a prospect "Oh I see you're using wordpress with the Avada theme and there's a Facebook pixel so I'm guessing you run FB ads." It's impressive to the non-techy client and helpful in getting your bearings on a new client. I haven't used much of the options on their website, I just stick to quick glances on the browser extension.
Nachteile:
Some websites block this app from reading the build. It doesn't offer whois lookups, which I think would be a good feature for this quick scan. Some features are paid.
Very powerful lead generation tool
Vorteile:
It is great for exporting custom fields such as Alexa ranking, technology used by thdm or revenue information for the prospects to CRMs. The data is accurate and it helps in lead generation and nurturing campaigns.
Nachteile:
Subscription cost is high. Some of the details for contacts are not updated. Requires training to be able to use it, not at all an easy platfom.
Built With is essential in helping us identify the existing MarTech a company is using.

Accuracy is about 85%, sometimes other software (like Datanyze) will catch things that Built With doesn't, specifically with Marketing Automation.

The platform is good value for money and in some cases (but not all) provides accurate client lists.
Nachteile:
Occasionally the data is inaccurate (out of date or switchboard numbers are offered rather than direct dials).
It helps me find the technology behind particular websites
Vorteile:
I go to BuiltWith whenever I need a lists of tools that dominate the particular category of software solutions. I also use it to lookup the websites that use certain web technologies. I like the market share information and country based analytics and filters. Database seems to be updated quite often.
Nachteile:
Using it for lead generation is somewhat controversial, because it ends up with outbound sales approach to people who never requested it. It's quite expensive too.
The best available
Vorteile:
Within the bounds of what's possible BuiltWith gives an end user a fast way of seeing how platforms are built. I haven't used the lead generation functionality but it appears extremely slick
Nachteile:
The jump from free to paid is steep which is definitely a turn off.

Vorteile:
My main use for BuiltWith is understading what platform a certain site is. I use this for website audit for my prospects and clients. Along the lines, I found that this tool offers more, and are also showing a lot of apps I can maximize from these sites I'm reviewing, which is totally cool for a website designer point of view.
Nachteile:
None at the moment, because it satisfies my need for it.

Accuracy and a working plugin that is helpful.

I would need to upgrade to run reports. The lower plans are fine though for my prospecting.

Kommentare: I'm using builtwith whenever I stumble upon an interesting website and when I know that normal tools, or rather my tech stack wont be enough to copy that website. I then paste the URL to check and get insights on what tools have been used. Then my research goes on and finally I get to know what to invest in next. Builtwith is pretty much familiar with all popular CMS, MArketing and other tools. Its a good app to almost spy on your competitor whenever you feel that you need to use the same design or features. I don't know why but I love finding out all tools of my competitors :))
