Gigwell is easy to use

Vorteile:

Gigwell is easy to use for me to create and track contracts. Another perk is having Gigwell feed into a shared google calendar to my clients can see tentative and confirmed dates.

Nachteile:

Improvement is needed in updating contact information. For example, if you change or add an address for a contact, it sometimes takes refreshing the page numerous times to have the address come up for the contract.

Hey Penni, thank you for your feedback. We just wanted to clarify that we don't automatically update the contact information for existing bookings after you make changes. However, we do provide an "Update Booking" button in the Buyer tab, which will update the contact information for each booking. Thankful for Gigwell

Kommentare: I love Antonio. He's always been straightforward and transparent about everything and he's easy to get a hold of. Even now that they have grown they still have a small company, great customer service vibe about them.

Vorteile:

I'm pretty thankful for this software. It arrived right around the time we started our agency so we kind of "grew up" with it. I have used other systems. Many don't have as many features or are this modern, most that are offer many more features and are much more expensive. This is a great product for mid size to small agencies. What I like most about the software is the ease of use and Google integrations. While they boasts a productivity suite of ticketing and IQ I don't feel as if they have held back anything in regards to the main productivity offering. Customer service is on point and fast. Overall I am happy with the product.

Nachteile:

This software is slow. It can take a while to load, especially when sharing a screen over video conferencing. We get this has to pump through a lot of data but wish it could run faster for us. Outside of speed, I'd also beg for a bit more CRM abilities which I think could take this software to the next level.

Kommentare: There are so many benefits to this software. It asks all the right questions and allows our artists to know all of the facts about their shows.

Vorteile:

I really love how the software integrates with Google Calendar and Google docs. Saves so much work.

Nachteile:

Some things are really difficult to configure and I am constantly calling on support to do things that are complicated. And sometimes Gigwell can't do it. There are some features I don't use because I can't figure out how they work.

I Definitely Recommend Gigwell

Vorteile:

Gigwell has made doing many aspects of my job must faster and smoother

Nachteile:

It was very difficult to figure out how to upload the data from Gigwell into Quickbooks. I'm still not happy with the way it's working on that aspect. I wish that was much smoother.Also there are some aspects of the contract that I have to manually edit on every contract. I wish i could edit the template to avoid this. Maybe it can be done but I'm not aware?

Hey Michelle, it would be great if you could get in touch with us at support@gigwell.com. We'd be happy to review the Quickbooks import template for you. We've worked with many agencies who have successfully exported their invoices from Gigwell and imported them to QBO without any problems. Also, we'd love to assist you with the contract situation. It seems like you require some custom variables. You shouldn't have to manually edit contracts before sending them out. Everything can be automated!

Vorteile:

The integration with google and other software, invoicing and payment features.

Nachteile:

The calendar integration and onboarding of artists was always a little tricky, oftentimes for the artists.

Flexible software perfect for small booking agency

Vorteile:

The contracting interface and deposit request and collection feature is very professional and easy to use. Using Gigwell really leveled up our operation compared to our previous system.

Contact management and adding users to teams could be improved upon.

Simplifies the contracting process.

Kommentare: We used to have someone on staff whose primary job was to handle contracts and deposits. With this software, we've been able to replace that position with agents who can manage their own contracts and bring in more revenue.

Vorteile:

The interface is easy to navigate and customer support response is top notch. I think the only thing keeping this from being an all-in-one platform is having a CRM product.

Nachteile:

I think we run into more bugs with the software than we should. There are times were I feel like I'm talking to customer support a little too regularly. I would also like having more direct control over what artists can see on their accounts rather than needing to go through customer support to set permission level.

Kommentare: Gigwell has been very prompt with their customer service, and in working with us to create new features that meet our needs. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is the best!

Vorteile:

The interface is very clean and easy to navigate. The fact that it is cloud-based software is also a huge plus as it's easy for our remote employees to get set up with. Certain features such as auto ticket count reach out, contract issuing/reminders through Hellosign, the ability to pre-save terms/phrases, infinite filters/data points in searching/creating reports, integration with Google and the artist roster pages are timesavers. The management/artist view (for non-users) is also very efficient and helpful for our teams that use it.

Nachteile:

The fact that Gigwell Track does not integrate with Gigwell Book is frustrating as it creates extra work. The inability to use multiple currencies in one booking (in the example of US artists playing international dates) requires us to use inefficient work-arounds, and is becoming a larger issue as we increase our number of international bookings. All reports are pulled via CSV, but it would be nice to be able to pull any report, at any time as a pdf with our company logo on it, instead of needing a custom template for every type of report (although the Gigwell team has been helpful with creating these templates for us!). Finally, there are a couple deal structures that Gigwell does not have a way of accurately inputting in their system.

Hi Ellen, thanks for the honest feedback. We hope to integrate Track with Book in the near future. That said, we have a very easy way to export dates in a CSV file from Book and import it into Track. Reach out to support@gigwell.com so we can add the Track template to your account. All reports can be exported as a CSV or PDF file and can be customized. Let us know the changes you need and we can help with them. We've added multi-currency deals and other deal types to our feature request queue. Thanks!

User Friendly with Regular System Improvements

I like that deal cards and contracts are editable in preview. I also like the analytics feature.

Nachteile:

The Book system can't communicate with the Track system. If they could share info, it would save us a lot of time and effort with building ticket count reports. Also, there is no differentiation between Booking Agent/Territorial Agent and Responsible Agent, which makes it difficult to use the dashboard search filter settings to search for shows within a specific agent's roster or pull reports. If we could assign a responsible agent or agents to each Artist, we could filter or pull reports based on that agent's roster as opposed to just shows they booked themselves.It would also be nice to be able to do a flat addition or subtraction from Gross/Adjusted Gross/Net/Walkout in the deal calculations which is not currently possible.

Kailey, thank you for your valuable feedback. We have a convenient method to generate an events report in Book that can be imported into Track. We would be happy to assist you in adding the template to your account. In terms of Booking Agents and Responsible Agents, we have the necessary functionality. You can assign RA's within the Roster management tab on the agency settings page. Furthermore, you can incorporate a flat bonus in the Terms tab or a deduction as an artist expense. Gigwell: Such a solid solution for all sized booking agencies.

Vorteile:

I love that it's super easy to get a booking into the system quickly, but still robust enough for me to get tons of details in there if wanted to. Plenty of room for us to grow into. The ability to Sync Calendars with artists is top-notch. Artists being able to log into their "artist accounts" to see all their gig details in the browser app is super useful. Makes everything so easy and PRO!!!! The company itself seems to have a team that actually is in the music/entertainment industry, so they really help a lot. Sometimes even just by consulting you on how to really streamline your business, not just the tool itself. That said, they still manage to run the company like a proper software company with useful updates being rolled out quite often.

Nachteile:

There is a mild learning curve as with any software, so if you're willing to put in an hour or so to meet them via Zoom, their onboarding team is more than willing to get you properly set up and ready to go ASAP! Any other cons I might have had last year, seem to have been sorted out.

Juliane, thank you for your feedback. We offer the option to deactivate artists while retaining their historical data. However, if you choose to delete an artist from your roster, their historical data will be removed. Please contact us at support@gigwell.com to have us review the artist invoices. You can grant them access to Gigwell so they can download their invoices.

Nachteile:

Mobile app needs to have more features and be easier to use. What I love about my job is working from wherever. The mobile app doesn't allow for this ease.

I absolutely LOVE gigwell! I love the features and the support but the learn curve has been steep.

Kommentare: Ease of contracts. Ease of getting paid. Once the program is learned, ease of booking. The multiple options makes it so easy to be clear with clients what they are booking and how the deal is being crafted.

Vorteile:

I love the ease of contracts now, especially your ability to sign and get paid with just the push of a button. The tech support is stellar. Our rep is Antonio and I think he a member of my family now. It's like having in-house support for this software. Antonio has also worked with us to customize our website contact cells so we get the information we need right from the start. The color coded process that's used to tell you where you are in the booking process has also been helpful to stay on top of gigs, know when deposits are due and help move the gigs through the process.

Nachteile:

The learning curve has been steep for me mostly when customizing the contracts for our needs. We have a number of different types of gigs we book and making the changes to the templates has been a pain but in the long run I know it will make us very efficient. BUT, as I said, the tech support has been phenomenal and has made learning the system much less difficult. I would like to see more tutorials so I can learn the system at my pace.

Kommentare: I believe this is the best software out there. The challenge i have is time - i need to invest more time to learn all the cool tools it offers in order to use it to its fullest potential. Unfortunately, i'm using and learning as we go and there's just so much to it that it's been a year and i still dont know how to use it fully.

Vorteile:

The event dashboard, calendar and payments sections are revolutionising my workload! So easy to be across all bookings EVERY day. Customer support is exceptional

Nachteile:

I am still training myself of all the many features so it does require effort to learn the procedures and input your data but I think it is worth it

Vorteile:

I love that I can very quickly set up a profile and it automatically flows out to the everywhere such website and facebook etc. I love that you listen to our feedback and make updates which make our lives heaps easier.

Nachteile:

Would like the gigstream photo to link to the artist profile. Would like to be able to invoice the artist for our 10% commission. This is probably just for the Australian market

Gigwell is a New Agency Boost

Vorteile:

I find the comprehensive database of venue listings and user-friendly interface the most appealing about Gigwell. The learning curve was very quick due to the straightforward manner in which the software is laid out. In addition, Gigwell offers free periodic webinars which were outstanding for me in the early going on the platform. I also found the wealth of document templates and forms extremely helpful when crafting my own contracts and performance agreements.

Nachteile:

I wish I could share information with my artist without them having to join the platform themselves.
